For several weeks I was emailing back and forth with Shirzad on wheels and tires. Seeing that there are so many choices, I was so indecisive with what I wanted. When we narrowed it down (after a handful of emails) I decided to go ahead with a lift and new tires for my Jeep. We were going away on holidays in a few days and I only had a short window to get things done. Shirzad and his team did in just over an hour what would typically take several hours. Woke up this morning to a fresh bath of Vancouver snow and the tires on my Pathfinder have been slipping on the road. I needed a new set of winter rated all terrain tires asap. The guys at Sorat hooked me up within the hour and was able to put them on the same day. I just got home with a new set of BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2s and I couldn't be happier. A great group of people who take pride in their work. I was fitted with new rims and tires in less than an hour after arriving at their shop. When I came back in for my re-torque they did it immediately and gave me an extra pressure cap when they noticed one had fallen off. Will be returning to do my winter tires as well. Can’t recommend them more, fantastic service.

I was completely horrified as soon as I walked into the place. Not only was I not greeted with friendly staff or even a "Hello, how can I help you?" but I was told to go elsewhere. I asked about price matching as I found the tires at a cheaper price over the weekend and my appointment was on the Monday. I was told to go get the tires installed there if they had a cheaper price. No compromise or anything. I asked if they had a price matching policy and the person at the desk who was tall, had a beard and a ponytail said yes. I asked how it worked. He said bring in an invoice and they will match it and beat it. He then proceeded to tell me that he had other people that would take my appointment time and that someone else would take the 8 tires in my size in no time at the price they were charging. I was horrified. So I followed his advice and did just that. I went to Langley Tire Clinic where I found the cheaper tires, in the same model and got excellent service and quick installation. Don't waste your time with these guys. A business should know that customer service and word of mouth are THE most important thing, along with quality of workmanship. Terrible, but thank you for making it easy for me to leave and go elsewhere.

I'm putting this review after getting 3 different services from these guys... Now I'm certainly sure about what I'm gonna write here... For someone like me who knows nothing about mechanical things, it's very usual to get overcharged everywhere... But this store is different! They've asked me to not change my brake pads in the first place! No one would do that. The manager, Mr. Shirzad is a pro! His diagnosis about our cars was correct. In every visit, he surprised us with his skills and his ethical standards. We trust him and from now on, we don't get a price quote before the service because we are 100% sure that the invoice will be fair...

I got tires and wheels for literally less than half what they would have cost at the dealer. Other tire wheel stores said they did not have them, or "could order them". Seems like most reviews are about service on spot, and they are mostly good. My experience is about online order of 4 wheels. They came on time, but 4 nuts were missing: got 20 instead of 24. I called Sorat and they told they'd send them with one-two days delivery - didn't get them till end of the week. Meantime we tried the wheels on, and found out that the nuts can be tighten half-way only, 5 threads approx. The guy at Sorat told it is ok, but some local wheels suppliers told it is not safe. It was disappointing because four different web sites said these wheels will fit my FJ Cruiser. Finally my mechanic looked for missing nuts and found that Toyota dealership supplies different nuts, original - $5 each, which work just fine and tighten till the end. I bought all 24 of those and after full week of troubles, got them on my car. $135 for proper nuts, plus time and extra labour - can't call it good service... UPDATE: I sent email to Sorat - and received answer that even their nuts would work, they refund me with $100. I'm changing the rate to 3 stars then.

1st they recommend a set of tires and i tell them i dont want to sacrafice handling. Turns out the factory sized tires they recommend are horrible (like driving on a bowl of jello) then they tell me some stories. I call the manufacturer and he says that tire shouldnt be used on my vehicle. Excellent! Then the next set that i was gonna get originally - they couldnt balance after 3 attempts. Damaged my rims in the proccess. Had the audacity to say if i hadnt brought back for wheel balance rims wouldnt have got damaged. Well the vehicle was shaking horribly so what else am I supposed to do? Owner also goes on to say how a laser balancer is better than a road force balancer - if your only concerned about "The best price" and dont know any better well there ya go - you will get what you pay for.

Came here because I was told my nearly finished tires need to be changed by another tire shop in the lower mainland but Sorat was close to my work in North Van. Came in one day for a quote and booked an appointment for the next day, I got late for the appointment and Jag at the front desk was great at accommodating me at a later time in the day. After I had finally got in and even after lifting my car, Jag recommended that I don't change my tires because there was no need and showed me exactly why they didn't need to be changed. Even though I did not purchase anything at the end of it all, the ongoing support and quality of service I found here made me trust these guys more than I could at any other place. Highly recommend for their service and the great people.

Short and to the point. Terrible customer service help. I bought mags at a great price in late 2018. I bent one recently. I called to order another one. I was told they "I can't get those anymore, I don't deal with them". I asked if he could check the supplier in case they have any left. He made a call and said "there are no left. I can not help". I then did my own search, franticly looking for a replacement. I found the Canadian supplier, and called. It turns out there was one in Toronto and the supplier was so nice they ordered it to another garage "Tireland on Esplinade Ave" and sold it to a desperate customer at cost......No help from Sorat but lots from the distributor. Never going to Sorat again. Going to Tireland, just a few doors down.

We've shopped here many times for winter and summer tires and wheels. In the past we have not had any issues, but this time when we bought tires and wheels for a Mazda 6, the wheels and tires they recommended were too wide and they ended up rubbing against the rear fenders. We had to make the trip back to Sorat to rectify the matter, but they would not change the wheels and tires but said that they would roll the fenders. After rolling the fenders we drove it and it seemed OK until we went over some bumps and then the fender got bent because it was not rolled enough, it was catching the lip of the fender. We took it to someone else to have a look and his opinion was that the fenders were poorly rolled and needed to be completely redone. $240.00 later they are properly rolled now. After so many years, this one time has really soured me to Sorat Wheels. I will not patronize this business again.

The prices are great as is the service timely. I've taken quite a number of vehicles to Sorat and I have yet to be disappointed. I make the trip from south Vancouver so that should say something about the confidence I have in this shop. Tire and wheel selection is excellent. I've also noticed that the website has finally started to keep up with what the business has in stock. I believe a good web presence is so important because I make a lot of decisions and then pull the trigger. I don't want to go all the way down there nor really talk to someone for long because I'd like to make my own comparisons.

I bought a set of steel rims off them for my summer tires. One of them got dropped while getting installed, and bent. When I took it back to Sorat, I was accused of doing it, even though it was clear that the damage was from the installation. They ended up replacing the rim, but in the process of installing it, decided to take the weights off two of the wheels. When I got them balanced at my regular shop, they couldn't believe how out of balance the affected wheels were. It's one thing to not stand behind your product and/or services. It's another to be malicious and make my vehicle dangerous to drive. I would NOT recommend Sorat. No customer service, and potentially harmful to your vehicle and yourself.

If you are looking to buy rims or tires you have found the right place. like their slogan suggests they are the best rim and tire supplier in Canada! I got my rims and tires from here and Jake made it painless and quick for me. I didn't even have to pay for shipping to Vancouver island where i live. I could not be more grateful. Thank You Guys!!

There is alot of tire shops on the North Shore but Sorat Wheels is the best. The owner, Shirzad, treats you like family. Just got a set of winter tires for my wife's X5 and the price and service was unreal. There is a reason why there so busy. Thank you !!!!!!!

Definitely ill prepared for the snow and cold we're having and in hindsight should have gotten winter tires sooner. Regardless wanted to leave a review and thank the owner Shirzad for getting me set-up with new Michelin Alpin PA4 on short notice....like 3hrs. These tires are excellent in the snow and ice and grip very well. Dry and wet pavement performance was again excellent. I would definitely recommend these winter tires but most importantly Shirzad and Sorat Wheels and Tires.

I had the pleasure of getting new tires, rims and sensors today. 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie. Toyo GSI 5 winter tires. I highly recommend this shop. I live in Richmond and drove to North Van because this place had great communication and awesome service. I will be returning for a quote on some summer tires and a swap in the spring of 2019. Thank you Shirzad and staff. Review update. I recently had the misfortune of dealing with another tire company that damaged my wheel and did a horrible job of balancing the wheels on truck. I called Shirzad to ask him how much he would charge me to balance them properly. He did it for free because I am a return customer. I tried to save time by not driving to North Van from Richmond to get my tires swapped by working with a closer company. I wish I would have just stuck with Sorat Tires, they do nice clean work. A lot of tires choices which are great in this store. But the service i give it a one star only because the front dask impatient to help and dont listen your requests. I bought four winter tires and had been told the price is comparable. I showed the staff costco price and he said could give the same price. After the installation, i did the calculation, there is $60 more. The staff said they can put my used tires back if I am not happy with the price! In the end, they give the match price but I was frustrated. Also, i required to keep my used tires but they almost took them away when I found the truck for dispose tires. Also I had been charged dispose levy fees even i kept my used tires.

Was sceptical of bringing my BMW here because I was judging by the outside. When I walked inside it was very clean and fully stocked with huge inventory. The guy at the front desk knew what went best for my car and they look really good. The guys in the shop where very quick and professional. I would go here again for tires/rims again. I'll be telling my friends.

Excellent customer service! Got winters for my X3. All correspondence was via email and spoke directly with Shirzad the owner. Super quick replies and able to address any questions or concerns I had. Fair pricing and much cheaper and less troublesome than shopping across the border. Wheel swap was super efficient, was done in less than 10 minutes with zero wait time! Had an issue with a rim but Shirzad offered a solution that wad agreed upon by both parties. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Worst automotive shop ever... They NEVER pick up the phone. Charged me $300 for sensors for my car and said that the TPMS light will disappear, it still shows up and they took the $300. Owners a grumpy goof.

Updating my previous review to reflect today's experience. The owner (bearded fellow) was in an amazing mood and despite being unbelievably busy he made time to answer my questions, correct my incorrect reading of the wheel spec website, make some good recommendations (one of which reduced my bill), and basically provided an excellent in-store experience. My previous experience must have been a bad day which people have from time to time. Good lesson for me not to judge too harshly based on a first single visit.
