I had really bad experience with R/T Tires and Wheels. I bought a pair of all season tires 2 weeks ago. After I paid $156.80 I took my vehicle for a drive and the tires were making vibrating and roaring sound. I could only drive my vehicle for one day and had the fear of the tires falling off. I followed up with R/T Tires and the receptionist said there was nothing wrong with the tires and they cannot exchange them. She said I needed to get my vehicle checked. I had to go to different shop to get new tires and the roaring sound was gone and my vehicle was perfectly fine. I called R/T Tires and told them that I don't want to keep their tires anymore and I will come by to drop them off. They only gave me refund of $40 + tax which came up to $43. It is so upsetting that I had to pay twice for a pair of tires for something which was not even my fault. I would never be going back to R/T Tires. I have given one star for this review just because I was unable to post without selecting any stars.

AMAZING SERVICE! Had an unexpected flat tire on my rental car while traveling in Canada, on my way to the mountains. Due to time constraint, I was already frustrated upon arriving here. But Ishmail was nice and friendly, and without me even voicing my annoyance, made sure I got taken care of in a timely manner so I could go on my merry way. Although the place seemed busy, full of customers, I didn’t wait too long at all. They were so fast in replacing the spare tire AND didn’t even charge me for it! What?!! How awesome was that! He was so cool, he even gave me pens and stickers (must’ve noticed my sticker covered water bottles), along with some recs as to which trails to check out. Also gave me directions to the nearest rental car company so I could switch out the car. Truly going above and beyond. Thank you Ismail Francis!!

The initial impression was pretty good, however until I found out that the guys working over there didn’t know that my tires were directional and those tires needs to be installed in the specific direction. Fortunately I found out the issue and corrected him while he was putting on the wheels. Funny thing was, the owner even ordered me to back off, literally. The attitude was rude and unprofessional, and the staff were lack of training.

Went there for 1st time today as they have a Corghi touchless tire machine. Prior to going there I called and spoke to Ish. Surprisingly he remembered our conversation from couple weeks back. I'm super picky and the technician was super friendly and attentive. If you have nice and or mint rims and you don't want them scuffed, go to a place that has a Corghi...not many places have one. Prices are within line of other places but the perk here is better equipment for handling your wheels. Of course if you have beat up wheels or steelies then the better equipment may not matter.

I went in to ask about possibly buying some rims and rubber for my vehicle. A guy who works there in the back walks by and the guy who was sort of answering my questions says to him "hey can you-" and the mechanic or whomever was like "NO" and cut him off and walked away. It was weird. Right in front of me - a potential customer... Bad vibes right off the bat. Then I proceed to ask about what options are available and how I would even go about ordering something or what- do I look online or do you have any catalogs or what? Not a straightforward answer but that is okay we sorta get through it and we are looking at some wheel websites now. Two more customers come in and the guy doesnt even acknowledge them at all. Nothing not a "hey just one sec". Nothing. I don't want to keep people waiting around when I know I am just more curious plus this is awkward and Im not needing any kind of service. I try to get out of the conversation many times with normal social cues and up until the point of just having the cut the guy off and say "Okay man I am leaving now thanks" and he continued to keep talking ask if I was standing there looking at the website with him as I walked away... It was beyond strange and figured I would just share this info with whoever cares. I went in when I got my last car and had another strange experience but I dont think that counts as it was about 7 years ago. This most recent story was this summer. I will avoid this place from now on and for sure will be just ordering from somewhere else. Im not saying dont visit this place I am just saying dont expect much other than what I got.

Great service! Got a flat from a slow leak during snow season. Expected them to be too busy to accommodate me as everyone is probably loading up on snow tires. But Ish promised to do his best, and that included staying beyond his closing hours to fully inspect my tire and banging out the dents in my rim that might have contributed to the leak. You've got my vote of confidence as a go-to-place for all things tires.

Honestly, I can not think of a better place in very short sentence. Staff shows a lot of respect and punctuality. I had a 11:30 appointment and it was spot on! The shop is super clean including the guest washroom. complement coffee is offered. and they have high standards and pay attention to details! like every time I walk in and out the shop, they would turn the TV on for me. Got a set of 4 winter tires, said it was a good deal but 1 tire blew within 40 km's and I was told it was my fault even though there was nothing in the tire, didn't hear it or feel it pull, and told I had to buy a new one. I see that you guys replied to my post from over a year ago... Answers to your questions: - both quotes were from very reputable companies. - also they were both installed quotes. (Post from a year ago) Called a few days ago and was quoted a price. I was told it was the best price. However, that was the same price as two other tire centres. Management was rude on the phone and behaved as though he was entitled to my business. 1 star just for customer service and attitude.

RIPPED ME OFF LOL. So I Went to them cuz my Valve steam was leaking on my right front wheel. They said the Valve seal needs to be replaced. They replaced the valve Seal, and it worked fine. And now when am paying the bill, the charge me $45 for just Replacing the Valve stem seal?? What a joke bro. I have some expensive aftermarket wheels on my car, but my valve stems are universal, and by looking at the valve, it was just so easy to Replace the Valve Seal. But they claimed that these valve stems are special kind and not every one has them. OK MR. RIP OFF. If u have a Expensive set of wheels and mods on your car,just avoid this place. Cuz they will RIP you off knowing that you will pay the money. He claimed that the “Valve Stem Seal” they put is $10. Bruh????. But I ended up paying because I needed the car for urgent work, and I had no time to argue with these Crooks. And when I said why is it so expensive, the guy replies with “Hey if you cruise around for 10min that’s like 40$ in Gas money. Meal at McDonald is 15$”. Bro? What does Gas and McDonald’s has to do with my Valve seal?? The work was good but no way I would want to pay 45$ just for a seal replacement that cost 1$ and adding some labour cost on it, should be $10-15 max. Just go to Mr. Lube or sth. Atleast they are honest. ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. I won’t go back to this place ever after. Have a good day!

I had good experience buying wheels from here. I communicated via email with Ishmail up to the point of paying down payment for the wheels. It took the store a few days to get the wheels. I picked up the wheels and paid the balance. I was lucky that I got there early because by the time I was leaving the lot had a few cars waiting for service. I have been to this business twice to get 2 slow leaking flat tires fixed. Both times they fit me in right away without an appointment which they didn't have to do. I expected to just stop in and make an appointment. When they were done on both occasions they said no charge. That's twice they fixed a flat for me no charge. I just came here today to buy 4 new tires for our 2016 honda civic. I wanted to give them my business because they're local and because of how they've helped me with the flats in the past. They gave me several choices of tires and prices and explained the differences. I chose some excellent pirelli tires that I noticed had great ratings and we're especially quiet which is what I was looking for. I noticed on my phone after agreeing to get them installed that costco was offering an 80 dollar gift card on the same tires but other than that they were the same price. The owner explained that I will also get an 80 dollar rebate from pirelli and gave us the form to send in or apply online. At the end of the day his pricing matched costco but I got to support a local company in my community and they did a great job installing them. No issues. Also the owner was a great guy and I felt he was there to help make sure we made the right choice and never felt pressured. I will be coming back to look at some winter tires from these folks soon before next winters rush. I look at some of these bad reviews and have to wonder if sometimes it's a competitor, a friend of a competitor or family member of a competitor or something along those lines who writes these bad reviews to sabotage a business I guess sometimes mistakes happen and a customer can have a legitimate complaint even from what I think is a great little tire store, you can't make everyone happy all the time. I get the impression they really try to here though. I rarely write reviews but when I get exceptional service I feel like I should and did in this case.bottom line.. competitive pricing. Great service. Local. Support small businesses like this one.

I don't regularly post reviews but I feel compelled to do so in this case because of the outstanding service I received from Donnie. I have to admit I was a bit reserved about trying this place given some of the isolated negative reviews but when I spoke to Donnie over the phone I got a very good feeling about him. Donnie was able to get me in right away so I headed over. Quick background. I have an old 1997 Toyota 4runner which I keep in very good condition. I recently got all the springs and shocks replaced and just yesterday got new set of tires and a wheel alignment. I was looking forward to the improved ride after getting all this work done. To my dismay my steering wheel was shaking and the ride was horrible at various speeds. I then went onto the 4runner forum websites and the members there had posted detailed reasons for this common problem. It turns out you need a very high end wheel balancer made by Hunter. I went onto Hunter's website and used their store locator which is how I found R/T Tires. When I got to the store Donnie greeted me right away and explained everything upfront including cost. Donnie jumped on my vehicle right away and personally balanced all my tires. He picked up on my interest in their balancing machine so invited me into the shop to see their Hunter wheel balancer at work. I was very impressed with this cutting edge unit and how advanced it really was. Donnie had me back on the road in less than an hour and at minimal cost. I only had to drive a block to feel the difference. My 4runner drives like new again and no shaking at all. This shop might not impress some from the outside but it's what's inside that counts. They clearly care enough about their customers to invest in only the best employees and equipment. They have my future business and I would take them over any fancy big store franchise any day. Thank you Donnie for putting a big grin on my face every time I drive my 4runner.

I went to R/T Tires & Wheels after seeing a craigslist advertisement they posted about a set of old school split 14"s. I met Ish when I walked in and we started talking about them, he was super knowledgeable and I immediately knew I was in good hands. The wheels were exactly as advertised and they surpassed my expectations, especially for a used wheel from the '80s. Pricing was fair and they had a brand new set of rubber mounted on them. The fellow that helped me today was great! Right off the start, the staff were being real good with social distancing and customer presence in the showroom. I needed some specialized lug nuts that nobody had; however, this shop had them and they were cheaper than Amazon and Ebay. The shop was clean, the staff were switched and they had what I needed. The worst service I have ever received in my life! This is a tire shop without lifts for your vehicle ??? They use jacks to raise your cars what joke. And damage the undercarriage of your vehicle . The owner is a smug ripoff artist charging prices that are ridiculous . Explain to me why not go to Kal tire just a block away or a reputable place with proper tools for your vehicle. I learn my lesson . All the positive reviews on here are lies fake reviews don’t go there you’ll regret it .

Had the pleasure of dealing with Ishmael. I went to get my tpsm serviced, I originally needed two valves replaced because the old ones rusted out and fell apart. I was able to upgrade all four sensors for the fraction of the price the dealer was asking. Along with the great price I got excellent customer service I found rt tires n wheels on Craigslist by chance and Im glad I did. I will definitely recommend rt tires to all my friends and family...

I want to commend R/T for their incredible customer service, knowledge, and generosity! When I was 9 months pregnant visiting from Seattle for a funeral my minivan blew a tire. I had to get it fixed same day and my initial plan fell through. I called 10+ places and no one was willing to help. The guys at R/T walked me through what I needed to do (purchase a tire elsewhere) and they stayed late to rotate and get my new tire on. So grateful for their kindness!

The service is very good, and the result is amazingly and accurately professional. Try their Road force balancing, they know what they are doing, the best in the business even for 35 inch tires, like you're driving your Tundra on smooth glass.

Ish the owner is a scammer he has no customer service skill whats so ever. How they are in business it is mind blowing . He charged me double for everything i was in a bind I had no choice. Have you seen the people that work there??? They were doing drugs in between jobs all of them. I would not trust them with your car. It might as well been a shop behind someones back yard.

Just got 4 tires installed yesterday, and the service from Brittany was 2nd to none. She not only offered and gave me a ride to my work while the installer(great guy as well every time i've been there), she asked if I needed a ride back when the install was done, and I said I would let her know incase I got a ride from a co-worker. She called to say my car would be ready in 15 mins and if I needed a ride, that way she could pick me up and I would get to the shop just in time so that I wouldn't be waiting. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!
