I have an old Pathfinder. And I fix it myself. Plus I am old and poor will likely never ever own a new car. So, except for servicing the vehicle due to the recall (airbags) and something about a potential rust-spot, I wouldn't have ever used the dealer. MY MISTAKE. Firstly, they were very professional. They were on time and even checked to see if I was on time. Secondly, they provided the courtesy car and it was a brand new Titan! OMG! What a treat! Then, the car was done on time and waiting for me. No charge (recall). Not even some petty silly thing. Straight up. As they said. In fact, I 'feel' it was even better. I am no expert but they were great.

Wayne, you and your crew completely saved the day and helped create a really good memory out of a bad situation. We were out camping near Campbell River and ran into a pretty big car problem. We called every dealership/mechanic we could find online. They were either closed for the weekend (long weekend) or told us it would take a few weeks to get the proper parts in. Wayne simply said "just get your car here and we will help get you sorted out." He diagnosed the problem, proposed a creative solution, and then got it all fixed up for us while we went out on a hike in the woods. All the guys we talked to were professional, kind, and helped us out. Thank you Wayne and the team at North Island Nissan!

Service was very good. Only reason for four stars rather than 5 is the price of parts. You could be a little more competitive in that regard. Having said that, the maintenance manager did reduce the overall bill without much prompting. I'll go back there for my next service.

I got a pre purchase inspection on my 2015 Nissan Xterra in April 2021. The mechanic I dealt with at that time was lovely to deal with and very helpful. However, since then it has been a nightmare trying to get the inspection report. It’s been 7 months now and they keeping telling me they have to “look in their archives”. In April we agreed that the inspection report would be emailed to me because I live on the mainland. I realized later that the email they sent me only had the receipt attached and not the report. I’ve emailed, called, and filled out their online contact form. They either tell me someone will call me back and they never do. Or the one time I got a call back the woman was pretty rude and made it very clear what a hassle it was to go track down this paperwork because it had been so long since the inspection and the archives are in an entirely different building. None of that is my fault. They could have just emailed the paperwork in the first place. Whoever answers the phone is usually friendly and seem like they want to help, but at the end of the day nothing actually happens and after all this time the issue is still unresolved. They keep telling me some convoluted story about how they don’t keep copies of certain inspections, which seems like poor form and definitely not my problem. If they lost the paperwork they should just own up to it and try to offer some sort of solution instead of making it worse and dragging it out with this convoluted none sense. At this point, it’s clear that I’ll never get the record of the mechanical state my vehicle was in when I bought it. I’m disappointed in their terrible customer service and lack of accountability.

Not impressed with the service I got from day one of owning my truck I has issues with my spark plugs getting carbon tracking and cracking on the Ceramic part got new plugs installed within first month or so even put forward my own money to get the best plugs I could too only continue having the same problem after getting no notification or a heads up that the three month vehicle inspection for my truck was coming up I got it in a day late and exsplained look this vehicle has been having the same problem it has Since day one there’s obviously something more going on from day one of being sold this truck I was greeted with a bill for service just too tell me everything I already knew was wrong with the dam truck In put shaft leaks spark plugs miss firing and completely unsafe tires I get that there is some standard to witch the tires are inspected too but they where pretty shot so I had to spend 1600$ buy new one’s I got a newer vehicle to try too get myself away from a problematic vehicle and iv had nothing but issues from day one it’s mainly the spark plug issues I’m upset with because it’s been a issue from day one I can’t tow anything I can’t pass on the highways and it’s a struggle to get up any hills tell me dose that sound fare I put 3000$ down put 1600$ tires paid for the best spark plugs and still pay 800$ with insurance including monthly for a truck that can’t perform to what I need it for aka my job to make money very frustrating the process of buying the truck was grate Colton was helpful did everything he could and made this happen for me but like I said in my previous statements this was supposed to be the part of my life I got away from unreliable vehicles from Craigslist and in to somthing I could count on to get me and my tools too the places we need to go
This is not a normal 5 star review but this is more important than the traditional type of review, I think. I brought my Frontier (great truck BTW) in to have my trailer harness rewired and put through the bumper as I had torn it off when 4X4ing on some pretty rough terrain. When I went to use it the following week it didn't work so I had to get another Mechanic to fix/rewire it on Easter Sunday. When I called North Island Nissan they (Ryan) immediately refunded me the amount that I had to pay the other guy for working on Easter Sunday. Sometimes you have to judge a company by how they respond when everything doesn't go perfectly and they passed this test with flying colours

Dealing with their service department and my 2017 Nissan Frontier has been a DISASTER. They had it for the entire month of September 2021 after a) Misdiagnosing the 4x4 transfer case as something else wrong despite another dealer telling them what is wrong, then b) Replacing the 4x4 Transfer case but then still misdiagnosing it, then c) Re-wiring the wiring harness because Nissan didn't have a replacement at my own cost of $1,500, and then d) Screwing up the wiring on the wiring harness and then charging me $682 to change the battery and test drive the truck (it's not the battery that's faulty, it's their work). The Service Manager, Trish, refuses to admit they are incompetent or have done anything wrong. Says 'they stand by their work' but won't actually admit fault or put anything in writing. This place has awful customer service and I am highly dis-satisfied. But they get 2 stars because they can fix a truck to get it back on the road temporarily for a few weeks before it breaks down again. TERRIBLE.
Suffice to say, in my experiences with North Island Nissan, they earn the five stars.
I have been pricing out some service for my 2012 Rogue and this dealership seems 40% more expensive than anyone else. They want $321 for a job that 2 other Nissan dealerships are charging $209 for. Parts cost $34 here vs $23 at the other dealerships. I have priced out several items and service over the last year and this location is always WAY more expensive. Save your money. Get your service done elsewhere.
Great experience with the guys from North Island Nissan. I saw the vehicle online and got in touch with Colin. He was a terrific sales person and really earned my trust through the sale. Brian helped me with all the financial matters and was very friendly throughout the process. Finally, I also dealt with Wayne (Services), he installed winter tires and other features on the vehicle prior to me taking possession. I actually never saw the vehicle until I took ownership in Alberta. When I did so, I was very happy that it exceed my expectations. It was disappointing. I was told I would have my vehicle dropped off to me, this didn't happen. I recieved no update throughout he day, I had to make the call to service just to get an update on the status of my car.. furthermore, I was promised a quote on service I had been interested in. No quote was sent. My experience was poor at best, I hope with this feedback your team can improve, and keep the promises they make.
Customer service is important to me, and NI Nissan gets 5 stars for excellent customer service. I had a couple of issues with the added accessories on my 2017 Nissan Titan Pro4X, Nissan fixed the issues to my satisfaction.

We got to pick up our Armada yesterday and are elated. This vehicle was everything we wanted and only Nissan offered it. The team was great, providing entertainment while waiting, beverages, snacks (full on meals at one point), insurance providers came in and the vehicle was perfect upon delivery. Very happy with the overall experience. Next time I will just enlist a babysitter so we don't have to bring our kids with us as they were very distracting. Shaun, specifically was fantastic and we were happy to give him our business. Looking forward to our ongoing long relationship with the dealership after having a pathfinder lease with them over the last 2.5 years.

We popped in after just driving by having seen a used suv on the lot which might've met our needs. Our awesome salesman to be, Colin, popped out and quickly set us up for a test drive by ourselves (much appreciated). Upon our return, the back and forth "dickering" to an agreed price was minimal and thanks to Brian, less than 5 minutes later we were happy owners. After 40 years of buying vehicles, this was the most pleasant experience.
I’ve had two Nissan Titan pro 4x, couldn’t ask for a better truck, especially in winter. Sadly I traded my Titan in for a F-150, biggest regret I have. So I will be trading it in the late fall for something else. Can’t go wrong with Nissan.

Buyer beware!!! They will screw you over if you don't know what you're doing. They said they were going to give me an extra $500 for my car, yet they hid it in other parts of the deal. They also never mentioned a balloon payment at the end of the loan (both the salesman and financial person we were dealing with). I know it's my fault for not knowing ever detail in a car loan, but I don't want another trusting person to get screwed. All I can say is if you're looking for a vehicle be very careful with Campbell River Nissan. Thank goodness for Galaxy Motors, they got me out of an loan I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Again, I'm aware that I was too trusting of this dealership, but I want others to be aware that they are not there to help you. Be careful, they are on par with Bill Howmuch!!!

I purchased a used vehicle from North Island Nissan in January. In September I discovered the frame was totally rusted and broken . I contacted Hayley Woods, Sales Manager, and was asked to bring the vehicle in so they could inspect it. Somehow the damaged frame had either gone undetected during the inspection or it was somehow hidden. After inspecting the vehicle and agreeing I had an unrepairable vehicle Hayley wasted no time in telling me North Island Nissan felt a moral obligation to help me out and that she wanted to send me away totally happy even though any warranty was long ran out. Hayley showed me a vehicle she thought would be a good vehicle for me. She hit a home run with the vehicle and North Island Nissan gave me full credit for the purchase price of my "old" vehicle on the trade-in for my new vehicle.. I could not have asked for more. North Island Nissan showed me they are a first class dealership. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. .

Yes...as strange as it may seem, we bought a Toyota from North Island Nissan! Sight unseen - unless you count looking at photos on their website - which speaks to the level of confidence and trust they established. From start to finish we were delighted with their customer service: from picking us up at the ferry in Nanaimo, through the complexities of the vehicle sale, to after sale follow-up. In the past 3 years I have bought 3 brand new vehicles from the Campbell river Nissan team . This year we traded in a 2015 Nissan Titan pro 4x and a 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan. As our family has grown we needed to get into a vehicle that best suited our family's needs . The boys at the Campbell river Nissan work really hard to get us into the vehicle that we wanted . They pulled some strings and got us into a brand new 2018 Volkswagen atlas although it wasn't a vehicle that they carried they still made it happen. This place is part of the Steve Marshall group and it shows. Tried to purchase a truck here. Can't lie credits not the best and trucks cost a lot, tried to trade cars that had a fair amount negative equity(oxymoron really). We go and ask them to work with us on getting a truck(thank god it didn't turn out.) After successfully qualifying for a couple of different trucks.Their Sales Manager (I forget his name it isnt worth remembering) had the audacity to guilt us for not making the purchase because it didn't fit our needs in anyway shape or form. He Also insulted my Hyundai santefe as way of excusing his laughable offers and killed any desire to do business with Nissan in Campbell River. I apologize for the gruffness but I felt truly insulted and wouldn't wish that on anyone. I will buy a Nissan Titan at Hyundai before gracing the steps of this place. I wanted the extra front windows so there would be no blind spots, I can see people on the side walks before they ever step out into the cross walk. It is great. They have called me twice since my purchase to see if everything is going well and that I am still happy with my purchase. They will also wash my car as long as I own it for free. As a senior that is great.

We were very interested in a used car and told the sales person that we would come over to have a look at it. One day before we got a phone call that the car got sold and got told they couldn't hold it . If they would have called us before my hubby would have taken half a day off from work to drive to Campbell River . They lost a new customer because we would have bought another used car and a new one in the near future .

After 16 years with the same vehicle, I was very reluctant to get into a newer car, many sales people have tried over the years. I had a payment goal and a certain vehicle in mind as for what I wanted. Breanna and Hayley Knew the exact vehicle I wanted based on my likes and dislikes. Working mostly with Breanna, it was the most fun I ever had with a sales person. After all she was the only one to get me into the most perfect vehicle (2020 Nissan Murano SV AWD) for myself after many have failed. I bought a new Frontier truck at North Island Nissan, Campbell River in early April 2020 just as the covid restrictions were in effect. Jastin and Colton navigated those challenges and provided an excellent purchase experience. Shortly after the purchase I received an email from the general manager Mike Ball, thanking me for the business. He said that on a scale between 1 - 10 they always aim for 11. The truck has been great so far, but there was one issue regarding the undercoat. This matter went to Mike, and it was dealt with to my complete satisfaction. He said they aim for 11 and he delivered.
Yesterday was 4 years since I bought my Titan Pro 4X. Best truck I have ever driven by far! North Island Nissian has been great to deal with. Service Department is second to none and the all round support of the Dealership has been great!! Customers are treated with respect and it’s all been extremely appreciated!! Cheers Mike! Friendly service and very customer orientated. The only down side is the prices charged for Nissan parts. I was quoted over 900 dollars to install rear brake pads and discs. When I did some comparative shopping around I was able to get the work done for half that amount with after market parts.
This Dealership almost killed me, I will never have my car serviced at this location ever again!!! ???????????????? They did my service and DIDN'T tighten the brake fluid so I lost almost all of the fluid when the lights on my dash warned me, I stopped at the Dealership in Courtney and the mechanic there said he had never seen brake fluid that low! He put it up on the hoist and the brake fluid had run down and covered my back wheel. I was on my way down to Youbou which could have been very bad. Then this morning my 2015 Micra almost didn't start, I had to pump it to get it to start. I shouldn't have to do that. I will never take my car back to the Campbell River ever.

After driving from North Vancouver to buy a used Ford Ranger from a different Nissan Dealership in Comox and receiving terrible, dishonest, and high pressure service I stumbled across an add on Craigslist for another Ranger just 45 minutes away at North Island Nissan in Campbell River. The Truck was as advertised. The Salespeople were ALL super friendly and didn't come across as high pressure or fake like at the other dealership. They were open to negotiate a fair deal for Trade in and Sale price, and came across as upfront regarding the condition of the Ranger they sold me, repairing a few things and replacing the windshield due to a rock ding. They even drove it out to North Vancouver a few days later as it couldn't be ready to buy that day. The Truck has been great so far and I'm confident that if I were to have any issues with this used Truck that the Team at NIN would come up with a reasonable and fair solution. I was very impressed with my experience here, and if you are looking for a new Nissan (or they happen to have the used Vehicle you want) I can recommend driving the extra 45 minutes to buy from this lot VS the other dealer just 45 minutes away. I was glad I did!
