Excellent experience at this location. They try to go above and beyond. Competitive pricing with fast friendly service. They try to personalize your visit by remembering who you are and simple comments like, “Great to see you. Have a seat and we will take care of your vehicle and get you going as soon as we can.” On another occasion, I had to go to an appointment while my tires were being changed. They didn’t have an available person to drop me to my destination. They allowed me to borrow their KalTire vehicle instead! Very impressed at the lengths they will go for their customers.

They were mounted and installed efficiently. I've had my tires swapped out and the off-season tires stores each season since then and I always enjoy the experience. Worst customer service, and unprofessional employees who lack the ability to express empathy to frustrated and worried customers. Employees prioritize allegating customers for the damages incurred, rather than trying to be considerate that no one tries to damage their own tires intentionally. Another classic example of a big brand, whose employees have minimal customer service training. Driven to value monetary gains, rather than customer needs.

UPDATE NOV 2016 - While my Honda dealership, other tire shops all told me I have to wait a week to swap on my winter tires (on rims), once again, these guys come to the rescue and quickly get my job done without any appointment. They also patched up a nail in one of my tires. 30 mins later, I'm out of there and ready to take on the winter. Thanks again Kal Tire, the same mechanics/ownership who's been there for years, I hope your quick service without appointments help countless other customers like how you've helped me! ------------- Completed Safety Test back in 2012. They said I needed new brake pads in the front, total cost $300. I believe the pads had sufficient thickness to pass the safety test, but I am not a mechanic so I cannot be sure. I've had them bolt on my summer/winter wheels (separate sets, each with their own rims and tires) on short notice for several years now (approx. 30 min job). They accommodated my request without an appointment, which was convenient. Active Green & Ross across the st. always told me that I need to book a week in advance, so they lost my business for a very simple, 30 minute job every season.

Quality of service has been on a decline over the last couple of years. We have voiced our concern and some of our needs have been met. We have had numerous issues with this store. We have been customers here for over ten years and are considering taking our business elsewhere. The services and products have been very disappointing lately. The cost of changing seasonal tires has risen substantially over the years and the service has gotten worse. I'm not sure what to suggest to help this store improve it's ratings in our books.

Woke up to a flat time, went on to the store with no appointment looking to either patch the flat or throw my spare on. I was greeted by Bhargav who is either the manager or the front counter customer associate. What could've easily been a lengthy wait turned into a half hour turn around . Honestly, I never write reviews but I had to share this experience. Not only would I recommend this place I just might break something purposely to go back lol. I went in and ordered in new winter tires and rims for a car I had just purchased. These guys were a pleasure to deal with, ordered everything in and had the tires mounted and balance ahead of time. Second time I went in they had them installed on my vehicle in less than 15 min after I arrived and even put on tire shine to make them look good.. The price is a bit higher than Costco but is 100 percent worth it because the service here is 100 times better... highly recommended

I called Kal Tire to make an appointment to get my winter tires mounted. I was told to be there by 7:30 am and I would be able to get the tires mounted. I arrived at 7:00 am and waited for them to open. I was the third person at the service counter and my car was taken in with in 10 minutes and I had it back by 8:30. Their days booking were full by 7:45. A very busy business but service was top notch and very friendly. Thank you Kal Tire Quesnel.

While changing from my winters to my summer myself, I encountered a problem attempting to remove a stripped security lug nut. Unable to remove it I took it into Kal Tire. I went in and explained the issue, the service attendant did warn me of potential damage that may occur to my rim depending on how stubborn the lug might be. Minutes later they took it in. After approximately 20 min the lug had been removed and replaced aith a standard VW lug nut. There was zero damage to the rim! They were fast, friendly and the service was excellent, the price was extremely reasonably as well.

The first employee was very unhelpful. Did not assist even a bit in making the decision on what type or brand of tires would be suitable for me. Just shrugged and kept looking at the next person in line, as though wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. Cashier was more helpful. After the tires had been installed, he explained the warranty etc. (Something the first employee should have done in the first place, before installing . )

They will perfectly tighten with a proper torque wrench to 80lb/ft Unlike the useless Family Honda dealership who used a impact wrench on the lug nuts. Also much better wheel/tire options and politer than Active Green Ross. And make sure you talk to "Hamad" :-) , he is the right guy to talk to. The other guys are good but Hamad is the main guy Jan 2019 - updated review Excellent as always, in and out with tire swap very quickly.. they went out of their way on a couple of things, really appreciate that. went into kal tire with a simple request, like many people who find tires that will fit thier vehicle. but they are just mounted on the wrong rims. take the tires off these loose wheels and mount them on my van rims. took over an hour and i was then made a bill for two tire change overs. so i payed the bill because inused to work there and the way things are being run there i heard from all former employees like myself. things are getting teally bad there. so i was billed $175 for two mount and balance. i go to grab my vehicle and sure enough. they had indeed mounted the old tires from my van onto the loose rims i brought in. not wanting to waste anymore time at this location i cut my losses and ill NEVER set foot in another kal tire again. ive worked with minute tune and brake. ive worked with fountain tire. va also worked woth canadian tire. never in my life have i worked with a more incompetent leader in my life as when i had to work with rob from kal tire. i heard it was bad, this proved to be worse than i expected. i at leadt though they would understand a simple request. they even asked the right questions like. are you keeping the old tires. “yes” are you keeping the steel rims “yes” so you want these tires off the steel rims mounted on the van mag wheels. “yes” . a was around the entire time. not once did someone ask me if i wanted the old tires from the van put on the loose steel wheels. no wonder Rob has lost every good employee that used to work there. rich the former manager was breaking records at that location. now i imagine this location barely breaks even. and this is why: incompetancy is not tolerated in customer service. period!!

The guys at this place are scammers, went there for some new tires they sold me some used tires they had in stock. they where junk had madd camber wear and they didnt even balance all the tires it turned out just did 2 of them so my car vibrated like crazy on the highway but my allighnment guy balanced them properly free of charge. Great Place! I have been saved twice by Kal Tire with my emergency tire issues at a very little cost the first time, and free the second time when they repaired my punctured tire. They were fast, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and highly professional.They torqued my other tires and filled them with air as a free bonus service. I was very impressed and intend to go back there for all my tire issues. Clean and spacious waiting area. Very entertaining while you wait for your car needs to be attended to. I visited this Kal Tire location last year on October 2019 to purchase my first set of winter tires, which were the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires for my 2017 Subaru Impreza, and my father also purchased his first set of winter tires for his 2017 Subaru Legacy, which were also the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires. We also purchased a set of black rims for each set of winter tires that we purchased. The customer service was amazing at this location because if we had any questions to ask, they always provided professional, detailed answers to our questions, so we never left the shop with any uncertainty. They also treated us very well by making ourselves feel like we were at home. They told us it was no problem to help ourselves to coffee while we were waiting to be served. We did not have the tires installed at this location because we preferred to install the winter tires on our own, but I do have to say that these winter tires were the best tires that I have ever purchased in my life. The grip, and traction that I get from these tires on snow, ice, and even water definitely without a doubt surpasses the quality of my all-season tires, which are Michelin Defender T+H Tires. The difference between all-season tires, and winter tires is definitely significant, and to those that say that winter tires are a scam, and a poor investment, I would definitely recommend those people to reconsider their decision. I feel so confident with these tires that I can drive in 30-40 cm, driving straight, steering sharply on turns, and I would have no fear in losing control of my vehicle. The performance of these tires are definitely amazing, and that is an understatement. If I had to recommend anyone to a professional tire shop that recommends the top brands for snow tires, I would definitely refer them to this location because the service is fast, professional, they have amazing deals, which you cannot get at any other tire shop, and they never pressure you into buying other products/services that you do not wish/intend to buy.

Service is fast, even without an appointment. 4 tires installed and alignment in 1.5hrs. Like most places, they don't account for colder temperatures outside their warm shop, so my tires were under pressure by almost 5 pounds within a few hours of leaving. If they are "afraid" to over inflate, they should inform the customer or check inflation when they retorque the next day. Thanks again for your speedy and friendly service.

I have consistently received excellent service here, and my last visit was no exception. I had purchased a new vehicle and needed rims and snow tires, and with one phone call, it was all sorted out. Their website allows you to set up most things, however with the high demand for those items, they recommended you call your local location. Tires were installed, and my summers bagged up and put in the back of my vehicle in under 40 minutes, even with the shop being rather busy. They made sure to remind me that I would have to have the lug nuts re-torqued the following day, and any of their locations would be able to do it. That works for me, since I'm all over Ontario for work, so that was very convenient. They also offer free lifetime puncture repair, balancing, air and tire rotation on the wheels they sell and install, and once again, those services can happen at any kal tire location. It's the extras that can make the difference. Their covid protocols involve having enough space to wait, with regular sanitization of the seating, and lots of hand sanitizer available. They also disinfect your car interior before releasing it back to you. I would definitely recommend this shop

It’s never great when you have to take your car in for repairs, but dealing with Hammad at Kal Tire in Brampton makes things so much better. He was able to order my tire within one day and was able to install my tire very quickly. The shop was very busy the day I went in, but Norbert went above and beyond to help me out. He quickly came out to the parking lot and installed my tire for me so that I did not have to come back another day/book an appointment. Excellent customer service and fair prices! I will definitely be coming back here and recommending my family and friends.

I brought my car in due to substandard service performed at another Tire Center in Brampton. They claim that they charge regular prices because they take safety very seriously. Air pressure problems took place 3 time over a course of 2 months after installation of brand new tires.. When I told the manager about my concerns, he did not not take my safety concerns seriously after spending over $500 for brand new set of 4 tires.. I spoke the Kal Tire manager and his staff who quickly examined by car and told me that the tire nuts should been replaced to rust. I can honesly say that I was treated fairly and in a professional manner with no hassle, I feel confident now that my car is safe to drive and no problems with tire pressure issues etc etc..They stand behind their products and service 100%. Thank you for giving me piece of mind...especially with long distance highway driving!!! The other Tire company has received a very negative google review!!! I am happy to refer friends, family and business associatest to this Tire reseller/repair shop!!

Tires came quicker than expected and Hammad was able to get me in the day they arrived. Hakhtar changed the tires for me and did a great job and was incredibly fast. Whole team goes above and beyond when it comes to COVID-19 precautions, everyone wore a mask and gloves and wipe down all the surfaces in your vehicle that they touched. Needed a tyre re-seat and valve replaced at the height of busy season and a pandemic. My reg place was booked into new year and other places had long wait times for walk in. Went to Kal Tire and they advised that although busy, they could fit me in later that day if I'd like to return. I showed up at the set time and was promptly and served. Thriving business so need appointment. Going back for brake replacement. Addendum to my first review: Went back for brake replacement. I had 75k on those brakes, and was told that they didn’t need to be replaced! No charge. Alas, an honest business. Very hard to find, believe me. Elsewhere I’ve had a Honda dealership put a sharpened bolt in my tire, but spotted scam. In A nearby garage they damaged the sidewall so had to replace tire.

Service: 5/5 Called on the phone for a set of tires and they were friendly and accommodating. The service in the store is superior from the moment you walk in (i dealt with the manager and he was excellent). They made sure I had the right wheels to put the tires on. Nice waiting area with freshly popped popcorn. Short wait. Price: 5/5 each tire was 10$ more than costco but overall cheaper with their 106$ off a set of four new tires (before Dec 1.) But I'd come back for the service even without the promotion. Customer care plan: 5/5 30 day exchange guarantee, lifetime balancing, flat repairs, tire rotation, road hazard guarantee and free air, and retorquing (just to be safe they check the torque on your wheel lugnuts). Not sure if Costco offers all of this and without a wait.

MY CAR IS NOW UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE NEGLEGENCE OF KAL TIRE!!!! Kal tire screwed up big time! I had my snow tires changed April 12th and they used some old random lug nuts instead of the summer lug nuts I provided. I called after noticing the issue and they said it's fine they did what they needed to do. 8 weeks later I'm at the dealership being told my CAR ISNT SAFE TO DRIVE. I've called the management and they are currently unavailable. What the ****!

If I could give more stars I would. Have been to multiple Kal Tires here and in BC and have always had good service but Hammad and his team are amazing. I've unfortunately needed to go there 3 times in the past few months for 2 flats and a blowout. They have been accommodating, fast and totally unreal to get me back on the road immediately. If you need anything tire related in Brampton look no further. Don't even bother. Just come here.

Went to Kal Retirement Brampton today for a prebooked appointment but saw people come and go before me. Waited an hour to change two front tires and then again for an alignment. When I got my car back they forgot to put air in one back tire. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly but overall service was slow and lousy. Would not recommend unless you have time to waste after you even bother to book a reservation.
