Very excellent customer service...my repair on my truck was handled very professional by the service department. The technicians explained and showed me the work to be done before they went ahead with the repair which was very important to me as it was a very important call on my part. The only gripe I have is they never offered to cover the car rental while my truck would have been in the shop for extra work for a few days which I was inquiring about so I had to move on.

I bought an F350 new from Dearborn Motors in 2015. At the time I bought the gold package extended warranty which included 3 year 160,000km bumper to bumper warranty. My factory running boards are making the cab rattle due to the poor mounting system, the cab is actually cracking. Of course there was fine print in the warranty that states they won't cover the issue. I will not be purchasing from this dealership again.

Recently, my left driver's side tire was losing air. I went to Dearborn Ford. As soon as I arrived, they took a look at my tire and determined the cause of the leak. While i waited in the customer waiting room with a coffee, they serviced the tire. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Excellent service. I would recommend Dearborn Ford wholeheartedly. As an amendment to my previous review I want to apologize to the staff at Dearborn Ford. What happened, happened but in their defence the situation occurred and was exacerbated by the Covid Pandemic chaos that is effecting many of us and our work places. Communication broke down due to unforeseen circumstances. At this time Kerry Wasilka, Service Director, has tried to go above and beyond to accommodate my family and ensure that he represents their brand Ford to the expectation customers rely on. I want to let people know that even though the situation was unpleasant at the time, Kerry has been in contact with me and has ensured all parties are satisfied with their ongoing customer service. In these times it calls for a bit more patience, especially for our local businesses who are struggling with constant changes as much as you or I. During an incredibly busy week, we had out 2017 Ford F150 broken into. I phoned Dearborn who ordered a new window and fit me in for a replacement the following morning. Unfortunately I didn't have time to clean up the huge mess of shattered glass in the back seat before bringing it into the dealership. Dearborn's very friendly shuttle drivers brought me home when I dropped the truck off, and picked me up the next day. I was over the moon about the service; not only were they efficient, but they returned our truck with every last shard of glass cleaned out from every crevice inside the truck. That is above and beyond.

They take forever to complete repairs and lack any sort of customer service. This was my second interaction with this dealership and only because my truck broke down and I was forced to get towed here. Never again.

Booked warranty work in advance and requested courtesy vehicle. Day of appointment called to confirm courtesy vehicle and took half a day leave from work and drove 2 hours to the dealer Arrived and was informed that the vehicle was not available but they would take me to a rental agency across town. No one apologized for the mixup nor offered to bring it. I was forced to return to work with my own truck because of timing. Not sure if they assumed I was retired but I am not pleased to miss work, buy fuel and still have to do it again

My last service and tire change under my warranty on my 2015 Ford Focus was done last week. It was my best experience in years at Dearborn Ford. All the staff that I dealt with (especially Gail and the courtesy car driver) were very pleasant and helpful and I felt as if they really cared about me. There was a much more positive feeling in the Service Department as I walked in. I have not felt that for a long time. I have been a Ford owner for many, many years and was becoming discouraged by the attitude there. I was so pleasantly surprised this time and I hope that it continues!

They were awesome. I had a dash light on for power train maintenance. I called them and was in a rental within 20 minutes and no cost to me as it was warranty. I was in my car within 4 days as I dropped it off at 4:00 pm on a Friday. They were amazing. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t had any other problems. (Knock on wood)

I purchased an F150 from Dearborn in February of 2018. I went to trade it in this month and found out that there was a lien on it from 2016 - two years before I purchased it! It has been over a week since I informed them of the issue, and the lien still hasn't been removed. I am still having to drive the F150 as I haven't been able to complete the purchase of the new vehicle as I can't trade it in until the lien is removed. I AM FURIOUS!!!

People were nice, but service took longer than stated. but kindly compensated by decrease in price of service. The day after I received car back the low tire light came on. I have not had time to take it back in--had light when I first got car, so I knew it was not a huge emergency, but was surprised it came on after summer tires had just been put on. |After I took it in they told me it often happened and reset it, however it was back on before I drove out their driveway back. As I reflected on this I realized the low pressure tire was correct. A few days later I hit a curb and the tire became very flat. When the flat tire was removed the mechanic showed me the nail or bolt in the tire--it looked like it has been there quite a while, so the low tire light was correct. I would have expected the person who changed the tire examined the tire before it was put on. Not happy because I got stranded with the flat.

I lucked out an got a 2010/ f150 4x4, ( for cheap) I've taken it to these folks 4 times now to get different things fixed. I trust their judgement, and the service has been exceptional. I had them replace the plugs in March, didn't drive much since then, took it in in june, they said it was faulty plug and replaced it without cost. I am very happy with the service.

I made a surprise visit to my kids in Kamloops for a few days and decided that maybe I would try and get my oil changed while I was there visiting. I called the service dept and they said that they were all booked right up until I had to leave but would call me if they could get me in. After purchasing a $50,000+ car less than two years ago my experience with the customer service at Dearborn Ford has for a third time today been extremely disappointing. First when I arrived at the prearranged time to pick up my new Ford Edge the salesperson was distracted by a potential buyer and all but ignored me ..completely forgoing the once over typically given to new owners.. This spring getting my summer tires put on was a fiasco.. I arrived at the booked time to be told I was an hour late..they drove me home as they would have to squeeze in my tire and oil change .. in mid afternoon they called to say the car was ready and the driver would pick me up in 15 to 20 min..I went outside to wait for the driver 15 min later..then after waiting 20 min in 35 degree weather outside I called to find where the driver was to find out a miscommunication internally meant the driver had been sent to new gold to pick up another client.. I was picked up 20 min later.. my bill was waved as an apology for the series of errors... Today after calling the dealership service dept at 7:30 am to book my winter tire change I was told they were booking into next week and that a service rep would have to call me back shortly ..I get it everyone is calling for tire changes.. when I had not heard anything by 1:30 pm..I called back.. once again I was told “oh so busy” but they would call me back soon.. I was called back At close to 4 pm with a first date option of oct 15 th... bye bye Ford.. this level of customer service is not good enough.

Brought vehicle in a week prior due to squeaking noise coming possibly from the front end (I’m not a mechanic), it was determined by the Ford mechanics that nothing was wrong and gave the car back. We were told to bring it back if the noise persisted. The noise persisted and brought vehicle back for ride along with shop Forman. It was determined almost immediately that the rear brakes were the problem. I feel this should have been caught the first time we brought the vehicle in. We were charged 100$ for them to find nothing wrong but had they looked they most certainly would have found the problem and I feel like the 100$ charge from the first appointment should have been subtracted from the second appointment as this was what we brought the car in for in the first place. Definitely not impressed with the results from this service.

I had a problem with my tailgate not closing. They told me it was a factory Recall and would be fixed. 4 months later after the tailgate came open again, it caused some damage. I was then told it was not a factory recall. Nothing we can do. The truck is new. Got it from The Driving Force. A Demo 20,000kms.They were also told it was a recall, I did give them 3 stars as the Service Manager was Great. Did not fix my truck but a nice guy. I took the truck home adjusted the strike, tweaked the tailgate and now it is perfect. I am a construction guy not a mechanic. Why couldn't Dearborn do that. It may not be a factory recall but it was not working from the factory and the truck is still under warranty. I have cooled down now I would have given them one star a couple of weeks ago.

My car broke down and I had it towed to Dearborn for repairs. They contacted me promptly the next morning to tell me what was wrong and approximately how much it would cost. The only negative is that they did not have the part in stock (alternator) which delayed the repair by about a day and a half. Overall Iwas satisfied with the quality of the work. The technician diagnosed the problem incorrectly. I was told it was a turbo issue. They said they could not know for sure without tearing everything apart. Probably a couple of days in the shop depending on parts etc. They suggested we tow our RV back home to Kelowna and have the dealer here look at it. We hobbled home and a couple days later, Kelowna Ford had time to look at it. After about 90 minutes they called and said the truck was ready. It was the vacuum assembly etc. Replaced and away I go. Under warranty so no cost. I am not complaining about Dearborn overall. The front desk people were very helpful and pleasant. The technician may have been having a bad morning. Who knows. This was on July 2.

I came into Dearborn Ford last Friday March 19, looking to buy a car that weekend, I was test driving some vehicles and was looking at two different Ford escapes and he could tell I was humming and hawing about it so he let me take the one I was more interested for a an overnight test drive so I could get a feel if it was the right car for me (spoiler alert it was!) I have been in the market for a new vehicle for a while and was contacted by Ford inquiring about trading in my vehicle. I was then put in touch with a new member to the Dearborn sales team, Daniel. Daniel made sure he knew exactly what I was looking for and did his research to see which vehicles he had available that fit my needs. Daniel made himself available through his cell and was incredibly communicative. He made an appointment with me and walked me through my options, set me up for test drives, and listened to any concerns I had about the vehicles. Part of the reason for my need for a new vehicle is my two very large dogs and needing more space for them to ride comfortably in the car. Daniel allowed me to bring the vehicle home and test the dogs out in the back. I had to go somewhere afterwards and had to bring my dogs with me back to Ford. I'm a small person and was clearly struggling HA and Daniel offered to take one of my dogs for me. THAT is top notch service. Daniel made me feel like I was a valued customer and bent over backwards when I told him that I was really considering a Nissan Rogue. He allowed me to take a ford vehicle to other dealerships so that I could compare vehicles side by side, knowing that it could mean the potential of me not purchasing through him! When I found a Rogue and let Daniel know, he bent over backwards searching sister stores to find a Rogue for me that was comparable. He also worked hard to make sure that he was giving me a comparable, if not better deal than what I was being offered by other dealerships. Even though I decided to purchase a vehicle through another dealer (only because I LOVED the vehicle), Daniel was still supportive and friendly. If buying a vehicle were based solely on how I was treated, I would buy every vehicle from here on out through Daniel at Dearborn! Seriously, this is your man! Go see him!

It's been a while, but I had bought my 2nd brand new Ford from this dealership along with the expensive extended warranty. My F150 (5.4L) ran into the same issue as every F150 I know of has had(google it), Cam Phasers/engine knocking/no oil pressure, brought it in for diagnosis and repair, while still under the mileage and time restrictions for warranty. Their fix was that it needed a brand new engine, and that it wasn't covered under warranty. they offered no help and no other solutions or refund on the $3k+ warranty that was never used and denied when needed. Not only will I never set foot at this dealership again, I'll also never buy another Ford again, after owning only brand new Fords. Ended up getting/installing a crate 5.4l engine from elsewhere for less than half of their estimated replacement cost.

While car shopping this summer, we wanted to see what Ford had to offer. We drove onto the lot and were met by a somewhat uninterested salesman. He asked "What are you doing here today?" and when we said we wanted to look at some vehicles, he basically lost interest in us. He offered no information and we had to ask if we could see the interior of an Escape. Out of the 7 Dealerships in town we visited and test drove at, this place was the absolute worst. It shouldn't take a negative review to get simple customer service. Can't trust the parts department. Thursday: "parts will be here Saturday" show up Wednesday: "parts will be here tomorrow" parts actually arrive: the following Saturday. On retrieval; it turns out that the parts were not as described, making this week and a half endeavor a complete waste of time. If I could give bonus points I would. Our experience at this dealership from start to finish was spectacular. We found a truck online and after a few conversations decided to come up from the Lower Mainland to look at and potentially purchase the truck. Our interactions with the sales rep, Brent were informative and transparent and he was very helpful in getting all the information we requested to us in a timely fashion so that we could plan to drive to Kamloops. Conversations with the finance representative, Darcy, were just as seamless and helpful. I picked up my new work vehicle from this location, and it had issues with the locks not unlocking. I had been dealing with the service manager Chris, and he was looking into getting them replaced. They made one attempt to have the locks re-keyed buy a local locksmith but they still did not work. After that Chris was to have new locks ordered and told me he would let me know when they are in. It has been over three months and the locks are still not fixed. I had to repeatedly call in to talk to Chris as he was not returning phone calls. I asked if we could communicate through e-mail so there was a record. He sent me one e-mail and I replied back to him two weeks later asking for an update and that was over a week ago and I have still not received a response. Since then I have looked elsewhere to have the locks repaired. Would not recommend this service department to anyone, as they do not return phone calls or answer e-mails.

I stopped in with my 2016 F450, without an appointment, so a warning message relating to my exhaust fluid could be addressed. After a short wait a mechanic (Brent) plugged a laptop into the computer terminal on my truck and confirmed there was an issue. He indicated that there may be a software upgrade, covered on warranty, that may eliminate the problem. He took my truck into a service bay and approximately 45 minutes later reported that the software upgrade was completed, and after a few drive cycles, if it solved the problem the warning would disappear. Indeed it did. I appreciated Brents initiative and his awareness of the software upgrade. Excellent service!

It's a constant issue and as we don't live in Kamloops it is extremely inconvenient. When I say constant I mean it, everytime is a struggle to get our truck back in a timely fashion, I wouldn't have paid for a maintenance package of I knew this would be the case. The COVID protocol caused some issues. Heather brought my truck into town and couldn't get a clear answer as to when it would be ready. Not pleased at all. We payed for exstended warranty, maintainance package and our vehicle dies one morning (totally dead). I charge the battery take it to Ford and they don't find anything wrong plus they charged us the shop rate to check it. What good is it to pay for extra protection if it doesn't cover what matters like when your product fails for no apparent reason! To say we are happy with our experience at Dearborn would be an understatement - the professionalism and accommodating nature of staff across all the departments we dealt with while purchasing our vehicle was next level, and exceeded any expectations going in. As a primarily solo mum who’s partner either works out of town or long hours (making it near impossible for him to come into the dealership during business times) the sales and finance staff at Dearborn went above and beyond and completely out of their way to ensure we were both happy and comfortable with our purchase. Dearborn showed us a purchasing experience that was transparent, family friendly and service that was unlike anything either of us had gone through in the past. UPDATE: Chris, the Service Manager at Dearborn, called me back right after I posted this review to try and make things right. He offered additional service on my vehicle or a partial refund. I appreciated his help and thoughtfulness. I opted for the partial refund, which he said he would mail out the following week. *However*, almost a month has passed since I brought my truck in for service and still no refund. I've called about seven times for follow-up and only received a call back today, with no clear idea of when I'll receive my refund. Still feeling disappointed and frustrated with Dearborn, as I've now wasted significant time seeking a fair refund for the charges I paid in early August. Original post: A month after a regular service at Dearborn in which I was told that everything was "perfect" with my vehicle, I found that my ABS light was coming on intermittently and my brake felt sticky. I returned to Dearborn Ford, who promised to have a look and let me know what they found in 2-3 hours. It took two of my own calls for follow up and 6 hours for them to even start looking at my vehicle. Another 2 hours later, they informed me that both of my front bearings needed to be replaced and that the pinion seal in my rear differential needed to be replaced: a total of $1300+ dollars in repairs, and that they would need to keep the truck overnight and emergency order the parts for the bearings. I decided that I needed to get another opinion when I was informed that the new pinion seal and oil for the differential alone would cost more than $200. When I went to retrieve my vehicle they charged me $270 just for the diagnosis! I took my truck to Ideal Brake and Exhaust the next morning. They got back to me within two hours about the exact problem and had everything fixed by the early afternoon. They showed me the exact problem with the outer wheel bearing on the part from my vehicle and on a diagram, explained how it should look, gave me the part for a 20% discount, and informed me of the exact amount left on my brakes. They told me that they had not been cleaned in a while, and after Ideal dusted them off they feel great (something that I had been told had been done in my regular servicing/brake check at Dearborn). Ideal informed me that they didn't think any other work needed to be done on my truck at this time (no imminent issue with the differential). All this service at Ideal cost only $233, or $40 cheaper than the diagnosis alone at Dearborn, and much less than the $800 quoted by them to replace the front bearings. I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the terrible and costly service at Dearborn!

We came to Dearborn from out-of-province to look at and discuss purchasing a pre-owned Ford Expedition Max that was available. I initially spoke with Sam on the phone, one of the sales guys who was super helpful. I was initially concerned and skeptical about making the trip but I was quickly put at ease with the effort that Sam put into it, constantly getting back to me with my questions and concerns and demonstrated great communication and organisation. He sent pictures and videos at our request and put in a lot of effort to help us with our inquiries. We came and looked at the vehicle and ended up purchasing. What an experience.. Walking into a building and not knowing anyone is definitely a fear of mine. With a few people standing on a platform above chatting away a very young and well dressed gentlemen came down “welcome to DearBorn Ford how are you doing today” from there it was just amazing. His name is Sam. Among everyone there I would say hands down he is the best. I was watching and listening to his co workers yes they are good but Sam has something special. I am giving a 5 star report to the service agent that handled my F150, Trish did everything I had asked her to do she was very informative with the progress of my truck repair. Trish is an excellent service representative. I will continue to have her as my go to person. But I am unhappy with Ford refusing to fix my exhaust system under warranty. The technicians had said they have never seen long hair type material coming out of a tail pipe before and ford would not cover this problem. Dearborn told me to call Ford Head office to discuss further and they said because there is no recall on this issue and it is a one of a kind issue. They said to call back later to see if there is a recall in order to get this fixed. I went on line in Google and asked the question about along hair coming out of an F150 and there are many Youtube videos of this happening to the F150 vehicles. This to me is dangerous and I should not have to wait for a recall. I paid for an extended warranty and now it is not covered. What would happen if this stuff blow out at a person or cycitvalist on the side of the road, it could be a serious situation. I have pictures if you would like to see them.

On 2nd October BCAA towed my Ford Escape to your shop. The vehicle would not start . After two separate tests and a cost of $370.47 ( invoice # 725496) it was discovered that vehicle was out of gas !!!!!!!!!!! This vehicle was usually parked on a flat surface, but due to house moving it was parked on a sloped driveway. As the gas was low the quantity left moved down resulting in no detection of gas so preventing starting Would this not be on of the first fundamental conditions an experienced automobile technician would test before employing high tech equipment'????????

Broke down on Coquihala about 170 km from Kamloops. BCAA arranged for tow to Dearborn Ford. Couldn’t have gone to a better place.First thing on Friday morning we met with Service Advisor Gail Hooykaas and she was really exceptional. Gail explained the problem with our Ford Transit van, and informed us that parts wouldn’t be available until following Monday. We told her we were heading to Drumheller and really needed to get there on Friday evening. Gail took it from there. She arranged for a car rental, and we were on our way. Made it to Drumheller on time. Our van was ready for pickup on Tuesday. We returned to Dearborn on Wednesday and picked up our van. Gail took care of the rental vehicle for us and we were on our way home. Gail and Dearborn took away the stress of our breakdown. So very thankful for the supper service/assistance we received. She is professional, prompt, kind, and also has a great sense of humour. I had a breakdown out of town recently and she took care of all my warranty issues and dealt with a Chevy dealership out of town (which I had to have my truck towed to) All I had to do was call Tanya and she took care of everything. I was back on the road in less than 24 hours..... This was right before a long weekend and if it weren't for her "go-getter" way of service providing, I could've been stuck all weekend. The sales was good. I love my truck it’s a 2016 F-150. However every time I had to deal with the service department there was always an issue. From not being able to diagnose the problem, not servicing the truck when I dropped it off with a scheduled service, or having a simple service for 7:30AM and the truck not being ready till past 10:00. This excludes the dealings with my service truck. With the way I’ve been treated this is my last Ford. Which is sad cuz love the truck but i don’t wanna get screwed every time I take it in to service.

Sadly I went there for service for my new truck that I had to buy at another dealer and was concerned about the codes coming up and when I asked about loaner truck they told me that the only people that would get a loaner or rental was the customers that bought directly from them, that being said I tried to have them bring in the truck form other dealer however instead of paying for $600.00 fee to transport truck they wanted to charge me $2200.00 I would have been happy to cover part of the cost of the transport. So if you didn't buy your new truck or car from Dearborn I highly recommend that you don't take to them for service. Sales manager from the dealer I got truck from was even willing to work with them. I only needed a rental if the truck was out of service during week days as I tow equipment. So update to this review i was contacted by reply to this review it asked for me to contact the dealership and discuss my concern, it was also stated that it was posted by the owner ( THIS WAS NOT THE OWNER IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE PRETENDING TO BE OWNER ) oh and yup no resolution. Purchased a brand new truck, love the truck. BEWARE of extra insurance. Pay $2000 more for all services paid for for the next 2 years. I did that sounded good. But try to get in to get a simple oil change. Can take 2 weeks. Not happy when you can go into a Canadian Oil change get it done in 15 mins. I did go to dealership for a recall ... I was told it would take one hour. I stated I live 2 hour drive and when I needed to leave for another appointment. The hour appointment took 3 hours and I was late for next apportionment. NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH SERVICE. Other new vehicles I have purchased in the past other than this ford. Services timely on time easy to book appointment and come back washed. Not at Ford in Kamloops. Rather than spending the $2000 save it go somewhere you can get service in a timely manner.

This place makes it clear they do not want to hear or talk to the customer. After given full details of the problem to the service department the first day, I phone back a week later and spoke to the service manager and explain the problem again and his response was "oh we did not know that". Listening to the customer is not something they do well, returning phone calls is only something they say, NOT do. On over eight different times I was told by the service department "we will give you a call tomorrow morning" not once in the eighteen days did they ever return a call AT ALL as they said, including the service manager. I phoned the service manager and left a message to call me at the end, has never called back. I am sure this response like many others here will be follow up by a owner reply to call them, because calling back is not something they do.

I purchased my second F150 as an "out of province" customer specifically because a friend of mine recommended the salesman, Taylor. I was looking a specific colour and trim level and while they did not have one in stock, he went above and beyond my expectations and found me one. I was a little apprehensive having to do the purchase completely over the phone/email since I was not local but my Taylor made the process smooth and easy. He even went way out of his way to personally deliver me the truck. I was impressed at his knowledge of the technical aspects as I haul a large travel trailer so towing numbers are a big deal to me. Last week I needed to get my truck looked at for a warranty item and called Taylor for advice how to proceed. Even though it was over 1.5 years since I purchased from him he remembered me and helped coordinate the appointment with a local dealer closest to me. It was nice knowing the "after purchase" customer service is just as great as the "pre purchase" service. Taylor has definitely made me feel like an appreciated customer and I will certainly be back when the time comes to trade in for a newer F150!

The Ranger is generally fine to drive and the service at Dearborn has been good but the vehicle has far too many gadgets for this 75-year-old to master. I cannot get the air conditioning to be consistently comfortable and I cannot shut up the woman who keeps telling me to turn around in 100 metres. Nowhere in the manual can I find out how to work the Trip Odometer. Can't there be a master switch that shuts down all the gadgets and allows me to start over? Better yet, how about ON-OFF / DELETE switches for the features I don't want?

I just moved back to Kamloops and I am not impressed with the First Impression of your dealership especially after my bill was close to $1200!!. I was experiencing and noise from my brakes when the vehicle rolled as well as when I applied the brakes. I asked to see the Brake parts that were replaced so I can understand what happened, I did not see the brake parts as they were unavailable when I picked up my vehicle at the end of the day. It was mentioned that I could come by the next day to look... but that means I have to go out of my way to make another trip to your dealership, I am busy doing my thing also. I mentioned that I wanted to see the parts when I dropped off my vehicle and also when I received my phone call to let me know that the brakes and rotors had to be replaced. I waited a day... did not receive a phone call from the service technician. I called the next day to voice my concerns, I did, and your clerk mentioned that she will have the Service Manager call me the next day. It is 12 days later and I still have not received that phone call from the Service Manager!!!!! I will not be recommending your Service Department to my co-workers and I will look at my other options in Kamloops for my future services and when I have to replace my Truck.

I had an appointment to view 2 trucks. I had negotiated hard for the payment that fit and I could tell the sales person, Sam, was not happy after I corrected him on his math. Cut a long story short, in the fifteen minutes since his last text he told me he had now sold both trucks. Despite me being invited to drive an hour to the dealership on the understanding that i would be leaving with a new truck, Sam told me his boss wouldn't allow him to hold it. I asked why he didnt asked me.for a deposit and he said it gives customers the wrong impression. Perhaps a job with negotiating is not the best fit. Very unhappy.

I would like to take this time to thank the Service Dept at Dearborn Ford for the awesome service they provided me and my family when my F-150 broke down. Once my truck was towed in, they diagnosed it quickly and got us back on the road as quickly as possible. They also allowed us to set up our travel trailer on their lot giving us a place to stay while we waited for the repair to be completed. Bob, the tech who worked on the truck was very friendly and had no problem with showing me the issue with the truck and providing me his plan for the repair. Krista, our service writer was friendly and was happy to answer any questions I had. The Service Manager, (Sorry, I don't know his name...) provided me with information that caused me to do further research that has led to the whole repair being covered under warranty!!

Have a 2017 Ford Escape with the full package warranty plan. I had my vehicle in today for a winter tire change over , and any regular maintenance it needed and there were 2 minor issues they could not replicate. I was charged for the 2 issues they could not replicate!! I have had issues on other visits that they could not replicate and was never charged and usually those same issues would eventually repeat and get fixed. New owners and management are going about their customer support totally wrong!! My next Ford will be from the Ford dealer on the North Side of town!!

I have to say one of the worst experiences buying a vehicle. Very disheartened by the lies Damages to the truck and inability to fix it. Or make good on that. They took it in and didn’t attempt to fix any of the issues and returned it in same condition and blamed me. Also not doing proper payment work or setting up payments, guess that’s the customers job to do. :( paying for two vehicles at the same time since they didn’t pay out the trade in. Had to ask for 2 weeks for a payment date was finally given one and it was incorrect and now up to me as the customer to set up my banking and payments plans with Ford themselves. Attacked by manager as they did not want me staying the issues that happened. We bought TWO trucks off them and they have treated us with zero respect!

I purchased a 2021 Ford Mustang Convertible from Dearborn (Cam Clark group). I live in Calgary so they arranged to truck it to Cam Clark Ford in Airdrie Alberta. When I went to pick up the vehicle there was a minor chip on the passenger door. I went inside to let them know about it and immediately texted Brendan Audet to let him know about the issue. All this done before the vehicle was moved. Brendan sold me the car and at first was working on a solution to fix the situation. Lots of back and forth texting to get this handled. I did go on vacation for a month and texted him to make arrangement to get this minor issue fixed. I have now texted and tried to call Brendan 5 or 6 times with no response since July 19. They appear to be not interested in rectifying this situation. How can I give less than 1 star. Plan on posting this in several places to make sure people know that Dearborn and ultimately Cam Clark does not stand behind their customers. BTW the first negative review I have ever written

We decided to replace our well used GMC Sierra Duramax with a new Ford F-350. We investigated the various models, available options, checked pricing through CarCost Canada, and with that information in hand went to Dearborn Ford to see what they could offer us. We spoke to Sales Consultant Taylor McCarthy and listed what we were looking for. He listened carefully and thought that they had a truck that would fit our needs. We asked about the various financial options and he explained them clearly. We asked to test drive the truck he thought would best meet the features we were looking for. He arranged that for a Saturday morning. When we returned the truck we asked what the “out the door” price would be and he obtained that for us. It was right in the ballpark of what we expected to pay. We went home to compare other dealers prices to the local, Dearborn Ford price and decided that the numbers were so close that we would buy locally to keep our money in the community. We bought the truck Monday morning for the amounts we talked about Saturday. Everything went exactly as offered. From being greeted at the door, to signing the completed sales contract, including partial financing of the total cost of the truck arranged by the dealership, took just over two hours. We were very happy with the whole purchasing experience and recommend Dearborn Motors Kamloops to you!

I am using new F-150(2021) Lariat 2.7 ecoboost 5.5'long bed. I am driving 3weeks now, this truck is awesome. Powerful and feel safe. But I could not get a book for 'owner's manual', dealer told me that installed in my truck. So if I need check something as a function, need get on truck and ignition mode on. It is not comfortable to me. That is why I give 4/5 stars.

Dearborn Ford has Sam{THE MAN} selling vehicles.For a young man this dude acts like he has been selling cars for decades.UNBELIEVABLE.I have delt with many older msalesmen,both in Winterpeg and BC.Sam should be training 99.9% of these,what should I call them.NEVER MIND.I saw the new F150 a couple of months ago,but never inquired about the Ford.Called dealership August 8,2021.Sam responded and I mentioned I was interested in truck.I let him know I would be coming through Kamloops on the 10th. Around 9 am.Called him that morning and told Sam,I was running early.Can you meet me at 8.He said absolutely.He came into lot while I was looking at vehicle and was very professional.He threw a number at me with my 2019 Sport as a trade.I laughed at him and told him to get the boss to sharpen that pencil.Twenty minutes later they agreed on my offer and DONE.Washed and cleaned new truck.Filled the tank . Transferred insurance and on the road I was.No BS and when I entered the building,EVERYONE was professional and very pleasant.They even offered me to come back for more gas because there was a elderly couple getting there insurance and it took them a while to finish. I would tell EVERYONE to check this dealer out.As for most other Ford dealers in BC,hire some Sam-s .You will sell more vehicles.Are ya seeing this HAMMER.Well done Dearborn.Well done. GTO

Dearborn Motors always explains what they did and goes over the things that may need attention. Our truck is under warranty so every service is covered completely. They make sure we are taken care by driving us where we need to go and making sure they have our cell number to let us know when the service is done. Then they pick us up, bring us back, go over everything and then we are done. Free car wash to boot. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They take care of everything so we are worry free. This is our 5th vehicle we have bought from them and we will not go anywhere else.

Terrible sales. I would give zero stars if possible as they wouldn't even give me a price for a vehicle, and lost my business. I went to this business as people from my work said they were good. I dealt with a sale person explaining that my wife and I would be purchasing a 2017 F150 in the next week. He seemed nice at the time. Long story short, I typed up a list of everything I wanted and asked for a competitive price as I was simply gonna ask couple dealerships in the area as well. (thought it was the prudent thing to do when spending $50,000 after tax on a vehicle) As it's employee pricing month I expected all the price quotes to be around the same ball park. ( we had in mind that if Dearborn was within $1500- $2000 we would support local.) But this was the only dealership that did not respond or give me a price for the F150 I was looking for. As such I purchased the truck that week from just outside of town. I then spoke to this sales person explaining I was disappointed in him as I didn't get anything from him for the week and his explanation was a bunch of lip service stating that he and the sales manager were not going to entertain giving me a price if I was willing to check other dealerships. " WHAT?" As well he would rather wait till another buyer came in and paid the price he wanted so he didn't take a hit on his commission. You read that right, he was willing to tell me that he rather make full commission than make a sale if he lost a percentage. I love my new truck ( and that's saying allot coming from a dodge guy) and unfortunately Dearborn has lost my business in the future purchases / maintenance / or repairs of my truck. I will be writing this up with more detail regarding my conversations with this sales person when I get the Ford Survey I was told would come a week after my purchase. I find it unacceptable in this business that depends on public sales and referrals, that a manager would support this action. I guess I'll see if Ford Canada actually read purchaser surveys they send out.

ACTUALLY A MINUS 2 but can't review without at least one star. I had a new starter put in my vehicle in January 2021. In and around end of May it started to make the same grinding noise as before the repair. Finally in June my husband was around when I started the car and he got to hear the noise I was telling him had started again as it wasn't every time. We made an appointment for 9am on Friday June 18th at which time he told them the exact part to order. (he has worked on cars before). When we checked on the status we were told that that part was just ordered on Tues June 22nd and coming from Portland. I had twice now asked for a courtesy car as I needed a vehicle to go to work an pick up my granddaughter from school. It was 45-48 degrees C. outside. I was told on those 2 occasions and the next 2 delays at which time I asked again that courtesy cars were NOT an option. Only a discounted Budget car rental at $35. a day. (cost would of been 15 days at $35 equals $525.00 plus taxes ) What a bargain Finally on June 30th I requested to speak to the service manager and explained my TOTAL FRUSTRATION to this experience. He said "OH you should of had a courtesy car all along". on day 13..... I saw 3 in the lot today. He was awesome and made sure I did get one. But zero follow up on our experience. I would of made sure I had spoken to the client when they picked up the car. (To apologize one last time). So January $518 and this little trip $2300... (of which I believe was caused by starter not being checked that it was put in correctly). Oh they were kind and took $300 off the price of the repair. LOL Note also that we were the ones having to call in to the shop to get the updates and delays on the car. Communication was terrible. Sorry but I for one will NOT deal with the dealership if that is the kind of service that is acceptable. And I am now in the process of looking for a new vehicle, and will be telling my friends of the wonderful (NOT) service we received. Diane Way

Took my truck in to get looked at today for diagnosis and schedule it in for repair, $300+ later I was expecting atleast some work to be done but nothing was taken apart and actually looked at to confirm the issue. I was told things that I already told them. Pretty considered over this as other shops told me what they would do for the same price but I couldn't get scheduled for 3 weeks from now. Wont be back.
