The guy there "balanced" my tires 2km down the road when i hit 80 kmph they started flinging off pulled over and found he didnt use the right weights for my rims and used old weights as well not worth the time or money

This amazingly lucky place and time was the only place (about to close) that had an air compressor/car care to diagnose the screw the back right tire caught between Vancouver and Boston Bar. With a $30 tire fix or diagnosing a slow leak, also suggesting we could continue to 100 mile to repair the tire. Fantastic service! (The two other gas stations didn't have any air options)

Very disappointed with the customer service and lack of expertise at this mechanic shop. Beware servicing your car here! My car had the wrong size tire installed and my boyfriend was told his rear wheel bearing was replaced, but he was lied to and it costed him over $700 to have nothing fixed. Obviously we found a new mechanic who also found a random bolt jammed in somewhere there was not even a threaded space for it. I got some refund for the mistake on my car, but unfortunately my boyfriend spent hundreds of dollars that he will never get back. Canyon Tire, if you would like to earn the respect of a more positive review, contact me anytime to set this straight with at least acknowledgment of your selfish mistakes and a partial to full refund.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because the level of service from this place merits the most rave review possible. Instead I'll write this novella of a tale: We regularly drive from Vancouver to the Williams Lake area, and on our most recent trip up here we hit a massive rock in the road just past outside the Hell's Gate tunnel and got a flat. Turned out we had a gorgeous spare, but the jack and iron had been taken out of the car at some point. Google said the nearest towing company was Hope, but the guy in Hope recommended we call Canyon Tire because we were closer. The owner happened to be in Hope picking up parts at the time, but brought us a jack and iron on his way back to the shop Well, 11km outside Boston Bar (after stopping at a gas station to check on things), we got ANOTHER FLAT. The rear tire had hit the same rock and somehow held on/appeared totally fine. Now we had no spare, and as we knew from the front tire, the rim was probably also damaged. Canyon Tire to the rescue again! Even though it was almost closing time for him, he came back out to us, and took the busted tire and my boyfriend back to the shop while I waited with the car. He had a spare but no rim for it, so he located a set of rims in Hope. Then he convinced them to stay open late and drove my boyfriend to Hope to pick them up (like seriously, what mechanical shop has ever done that for you?!?!), got the replacement tire and a new spare onto the rims, then drove back out to get everything on our car. All of this waaaayyy after his work day should have been over. Can't say thanks enough for taking such good care of us all day.

Had my fuel pump die at Lytton .Towed it to Tirecraft . These guys worked past closing time and on their day off to try to get me back on my way. They also drove me to a camp area for the night. Unfortunately it was found that the fuel pump and wiring was fine and that it was likely ECU problem and so I had to get it towed back to Vancouver . These guys are great guys!

Kevin and his staff are more than amazing. They stayed late to help us with a blown tire on our fifth wheel. Cameron worked late and in the 38 degree weather never stopped. They sent us on our way safely and so impressed that there are people that care this much in business, even in a little town. This is service so far and above. Please frequent this shop. They work hard for their customers.

This guy is a cowboy. He carried out work on my car without any consultation regarding cost. Further more I've had other mechanics check the work he did and each one found problems with it. My car left his garage with more problems then it went in with and one of the most outrageous bills I've ever seen. I have spoke to several other people that used him and they e all had problems. Avoidd at all costs!

Kevin really helped us out when a bearing on our 5th wheel went 20 minutes north of Boston Bar on the first day of our vacation! And he cared enough to call the next day to make sure that we made it to our next stop to get a complete workover on our tires. Definitely very highly recommend Canyon Tirecraft!

Our daughter had just travelled the Nahatlatch FSR and had a flat tire on the way out. She managed to change the tire herself, but was concerned about the amount of torque she was able to apply to the lugnuts. She stopped in at this place for some assistance and was told it would cost her TWENTY DOLLARS to have someone verify that the lugnuts were secure. This is a service that KalTire performs for FREE on most vehicles, whether you've bought tires from them or not....lesson to be learned TireCraft. Because of your stingy ideology, nobody from this household will EVER patronize your business, and I'll mention you policies and practices to anybody that will listen. Goodwill goes a LONG way, but bad practices go even further...if it was possible to give a review zero stars, I would have.

I noticed a flat tire at Hell's Gate and carefully drove to Boston Bar hoping to find a repair shop. It was August 1st and the shop was closed. However there were two workmen inside installing an air conditioner. One of them kindly phoned a staff person who arrived a few minutes later. Although the shop was closed he quickly discovered the cause of the flat and repaired it. When I asked him for the cost of the repair, he said "no charge" His kindness, competency and generosity was outstanding. Thank you!!! Makes me proud to be a Canadian.
