During summer vacation while passing through Williams Lake on our way home. My boat trailer blew a bearing and wrecked the axle as I limped it to Canadian Tire. It was +35 degrees out and 5pm Sunday on a long weekend.. These guys were absolute life savers! Let me leave my boat with them so we could carry on home. I had an axle shipped to them and they installed it. The owner and staff were very accommodating and understanding about me working in camp and being unable to pick up the boat until my days off. Thanks guys!

Pretty typical Canadian tire store, however some of the younger staff at the customer service desk can make things difficult. For example, I bought a heater, that later went on sale (10 days after I purchased it). They would not refund the difference in price, as they usually do, forcing me to return the item and re-purchase an identical item at the sale price. Even when I told them thats what I was going to do, they would not refund the difference. I guess they like doing more work then necessary.

Generally speaking the staff is helpful, but this time a employee was clearly sick and still working! He was in the paint department. This is horrible during times like this. If you are sick stay home you would think the employers, managers or other people that work with him would have told him to go home! And get tested. Also this location seems to always be put of stock of everything I need. Before the pandemic I have driven to neighbouring cities to pick things up the day that I needed them because we never have anything at this store. So after the experience seeing they will let staff work sick, I’ll be staying away for awhile!

This is generally a good store. Most of the staff are good at what they do and are friendly. I just wish I could stop fooling my self into thinking that the auto parts counter has even the slightest idea what they are doing. So frustrating. And it's not just this location either, I've never been to a Canadian tire that has knowledgeable people in the Autoparts section. It's like there is a box they have to check on the application when they apply that says "must have zero intrest in vehicles and absolutely no interest in finding what people need" if they check the box, then they are hired. Sheesh! I wish you were better at Autoparts Canadian tire!

Associates need to stay focused! With the covid thing, I get it - everyone is out of focus, etc but associates at the store need to remain sharp and help customers move efficiently throughout the store and process to get customers in and out. Today, I knew what I wanted and purchased some plastic bins for storage (6 of them to be exact) and the associate (cashier 1218) wanted to take each one apart to ensure I wasn't stealing anything. I get it and good on her for doing her due diligence. But when I went to pay I asked a kit my rewards and the cashier said didn't it go through! I said, how could it as you didn't ask me for it. She said ”opps, sorry”. I said ”now what?”. She said you have to go to customer service and get them I void it and repurchase. Really? If she had done her job right by asking for the rewards before she finalized the purchase she would have saved a lot of time. As it was my wait at CS was another 10 minutes. Do the job right the first time. Very frustrating!

If your looking for ammunition, might as well look someplace else. I went in looking for ammo and the store associates told me the store recently changed ownership and the new owners didnt have the licence to vend ammo, and they couldnt give me a date when they would get their licence, could be weeks or even months they said. I wasted my time, DON'T WASTE YOURS!

I had originally posted a poor review for the store due to an experience in the automotive service department. Revised the rating as it was not fair to provide a poor review based on one experience alone. In the fall I spent a fair chunk of money on getting my vehicle in shape. Repairs included new tires, belts, ball joints, exhaust, alignment etc. Was not happy with the outcome of the alignment and also noticed an exhaust leak after 90 days. I did speak to a lad in service and he was adament they would do nothing. After spending $3000 on the repairs I figured a $10 exhaust gasket was not too much to ask for. Long story short Corporate got involved and was willing to provide an acceptable resolution. The store is great we use it for much of our shopping needs and the garden centre as well. I recommend getting all the warranty details up front in the service department otherwise you could be in for a surprise. Nothing against the mechanics but the corporation needs to revisit their warranties on parts and labour.

Called in advance to make an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived, the customer service representative took my vehicle registration papers, entered all the information and then realized that my vehicle may be "too tall" to fit in the garage's door. When making my appointment on the phone I even specified that it was for a camper van and no questions were asked. He mentioned that their garage is one of, if not the only location in the area with a lower entrance. A simple "what is the rough height of your vehicle" would have solved the problem before it started. He then gave me the phone number for the Canadian Tire in the town one hour over and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. I have worked in customer relations for many years and this was disappointing, especially from a "big box store" that prides itself on the service they provide.

Biggest rip off in martensville.. Don't take your car in for out of province. SGI Test...they are looking for things to increase the overall bill. Not to be trusted. And when you decline, they add on Shop supplies, Why exactly am I paying for shop supplies on a SGI test? It's a visual test, the $129 that they charge should cover it.

The service department was incredibly terrible. I booked an appointment for 3pm and when I got to the service desk I was told my tire repairman was on lunch and to come back at 3:30. Then the service desk guy asked me what I needed done of which I explained that a friend had done a repair on the side of the road using a temporary repair kit. He then preceeded to tell me that if it isn't leaking that I should just leave it and wait until it leaks again. I tried many times explaining to him that it is only a TEMPORARY repair and needs to be fixed. He figured if it isn't leaking it is fine but they could still look at it but they would probably just leave it as it is. I then left the store as I do not trust someone to fix my tire who does not understand that a temorary repair kit HAS to be changed and that it is not ok to continue risk driving with this tire as it is. When the fix comes undone I will have less than 10 seconds to stop or a severe accident could happen. I'm truly disgusted with the service.

Very disappointed in the tire and automotive service center. I have given them my service since the beginning and I continuously receive terrible service. The service manager is rude and questions every thing, trying to make me feel stupid. Ive gone in and tried to get my car in for a service and the employee said he could get me in that day and the manager said I could not come as I did not make the appointment earlier. Went to exchange a head light bulb for my car and stood there for 20 minutes without recognition that I was there. Went to get someone else as there was a line and the manager was in the shop and not helping ... this is so unacceptable and no business should have customers leaving because there's no one there to help. Canadian Tire needs people who can manage and that can do their job by helping fulfill the needs of the customers!

They always have the tools I am after, big bags of bird food for less than many other places. Lots of plant choices, and best of all vehicle service & parts.. I went in to talk about getting new tires for my truck and expected them to available in a few days to a week at the earliest....I go to the service desk, the 3 guys there say, how about 1:30 today (half hour later), by the time 4 came around I had brand new offroad tires, censors all gone, truck running smoother than ever....I'm very happy and I'm going to continue getting my truck service from here, especially for tires. Canadian Tire Confederation - Daughter purchased 2 plastic door stools for my husband for Father's Day. She made the order online as she lives out of province. She gave me all the info for curbside pickup at Canadian Tire Confederation. She told me I had 2 days to pick it up according to the email. I went to pickup on the second day. I pulled into the designated curbside pickup in the parking lotz dialed the number in the email. When a woman answered, I said I had a pickup. She said are you in the store? I said no, I was parked in the curbside spaces. She said oh, we don't bring it to you there, you have to pull up in front of the store, in the traffic lane and park in front of the doors and someone will bring it out to you. I thought why do I have to move from designated parking , make a turn to face the other way, and park in front of the store. I waited about 10 minutes, and my footstools arrived, carried by a female employee. It was like, here, these are yours and she left and went back into the store. I thought lady, your customer service sucks.

First they sold us a product that was the floor model but of course we weren't told that until it was time to pick up the box and it wasn't in a box and wouldn't fit in our car. We were then charged for delivery AND an assembly fee (!) and told to wait until Saturday. After numerous calls on Saturday and getting zero info we drive to the store again and were basically told they don't know where it is and we had wasted our whole day sitting at home for a delivery that was never coming! We received no apology, had to actually request our money back and while cashing out witnessed the manager snickering about the entire ordeal with his staff. Classy. Even classier was the fact that the manager blamed his own staff! His excuse was that he hadn't been at the store for two days and therefore I guess his staff are useless without him.

I was at the local CT in Williams lake, I was standing looking at a soldering iron inside of a security cage for 28 minutes, I had a number of CT employees walk directly by me, none of which asked me if I needed help or even so much as greeted me. After 28 mins of waiting I decided to shop on amazon.ca to see if I could find the soldering iron I was looking at (weller wps18mp), i found it in about 23 seconds, I bought it and saved 4 dollars and it was delivered to my door the next day. I told him to call the lady with whom I spoke to Tracadie, he said even if I speak to him, you will not have the bike at this price and the seller said it is not the right one extra price which is written on the rent check, I scan it and the price and 249.99, must you pay this price l .. and all this was said in front of other customers, the seller said that it was a woman named Sandra who had made the mistake, I had to call myself Madame de Tracadie to tell her about all of this, she wanted to talk to the manager, when I wanted to give the phone to the manager, the seller came and he said, it's okay, we're going to leave you at that price because he couldn't get the line at Tracadie ... it's funny that I could have gotten on line myself .... it's just ridiculous! I have never felt so uncomfortable like this before in a Canadian tire. Let me tell you that I would never make more purchases at Canadian Tire in Bathurst. A very dissatisfied customer. (Original) Je suis allé pour un rain check au canadian tire de Bathurst le 5 mars vers 12:30 et le gérant du magasin, la caissière et le vendeur m'ont placé très mal à l'aise lorsque je suis passé à la caisse, je venais de faire 2 heures de route pour aller chercher un vélo stationnaire d'un rain check qui provenait du canadian tire de tracadie, ils n'ont restait plus à Tracadie donc la madame de Tracadie qui était très gentille d'ailleur m'a remis le rain check pour que je puisse aller à Bathurst chercher mon vélo stationnaire mais arrivé à Bathurst, le gérant a été très arrogant avec moi et le vendeur aussi, il ne voulait pas me donner mon vélo au prix qui était écrit sur mon rain check..je lui ai dit d'appeller la madame avec qui j'avais parlé à Tracadie, il a dit même si je lui parle, tu n'aura pas le vélo à ce prix là et le vendeur a dit ce n'est pas le bon prix en plus qui est écrit sur le rent check, je le scan et le prix et 249.99, faut tu paye ce prix là.. et tout ceci a été dit devant d'autres clients, le vendeur disait que c'était une dénommée Sandra qui avait fait l'erreur, j'ai du appeller moi même la madame de Tracadie pour lui faire part de tout ceci, elle voulait parler au gérant, quand j'ai voulu donner le téléphone au gérant, le vendeur et venu et il a dit, c'est correct, on va te le laisser à ce prix là car il n'arrivait pas à avoir la ligne à Tracadie...c'est drôle que j'ai pu avoir ligne moi....c"est juste ridicule! Je ne me suis jamais senti autant mal à l'aise comme ça auparavant dans un Canadian tire. Laissez moi vous dire que je ne ferais jamais plus d'achats au Canadian Tire de Bathurst. Une cliente très mécontente.

On my visit here today I planned to make one purchase. After looking around this smaller (but well stocked) location. I found several items I decided to purchase. Several staff members greeted me. I must have looked overwhelmed because a manager (Jeff) asked if I needed help. He asked what I was looking for and ended up helping find even more items to purchase. Another couple of team members assisted me with checking out. Another young guy (Tyler) helped me out to the truck and helped me load. He was very patient. Every one I encountered today at this Canadian Tire were very friendly and helpful. This is not always the experience I've had with other locations. Additionally it was probably the cleanest Canadian Tire I've been to. I live in Saskatoon and just happened to stop at the Martensville location today. After the wonderful experience today, I'll drive the extra distance to visit this location on my next Canadian Tire run.

This store is very large and ALWAYS well stocked. It is bright and clean. The employees are always eager to help. Even the washrooms are beyond clean. We like that they usually have everything advertised and are almost never sold out or having to offer rain checks.

I had a bunch of stuff but when i went to pay and saw that dumb line i put it all back and went to wallmart. I didn't like to but at least i can pay for it in the auto pay and get out. I used to do CT first and if they didn't have it i would do wallmart. Now it's the other way around.Bummer.

Spent $68 on HID 9005 headlights, and they didn't work right out of the box. I went to return it (mind you it was only 2 hours since I had purchased them) and I was told "You cannot return this item as you opened up the box." I had my receipt, and the box IN RESELLABLE CONDITION. I took my ohmmeter and saw it was an OPEN CIRCUIT, and I didn't modify them or even mangle them in any way. I asked to see management and they refused, in fact they made excuses saying "Oh they're all busy..." ad my personal favorite "It is as it is. Go sell them on Ebay if you want your money back." which you DON'T SAY TO a CUSTOMER. And EVERY OTHER CANADIAN TIRE STORE I WENT TO said "They cannot do that to you, the product was faulty." and the item wasn't on clearance either. I use to love this store, now I will never step foot in it again for horrible customer service. EDIT: I should also mention that it is overpriced here and staff are very rude. I got a lecture about "Social Distancing" when I knew I was following the guidelines. I had to take my tape measure out and MEASURE THE DISTANCE and say "I'm 8 feet away from you." I'm extremely disappointed, and I don't recommend ANYONE going to this store.

Worst customer service at this Canadian garage. The girl working their said on call that we have the tires in stock. I drove all the way from Saskatoon to martensville and she told me we don't have it. And she said ( with her few brain cells working) that it only takes 12 minutes to drive from Saskatoon to martensville

Been here enough times to know they at least have their shelves stocked. Haven't had a time where they didn't have what I needed and the sales for the most part are good. Staff are friendly enough and were super helpful when I was having trouble looking for a particular cleaning solution. No problems or concerns for the store itself. Only gripe I have is with the automotive department. Worker who served me was deceptive and claimed there were no free spots available during the week when I attempted to book an appointment on Tuesday. Only to find out a day after that there were plenty of available times the following Thursday.

In the past, I've had to go as far as 1h away, at the next closest store, to get what I wanted. The shelves were not stocked up today and it was a little disappointing to see.

We went in to get a dehumidifier for our new house. The sales person was from a different area but directed us to the correct area. She then remembered there was a dehumidifier on her stock trolley and pointed it out to us. It was a winner! We were in and out before we knew it!
