I sent my sister there to get a wheel alignment on her van and the guy comes back with a $1300 quote and a bunch of parts needed to be changed before the wheel alignment. So I order a complete front end kit drove six hours from Alberta replaced all the parts and found that none of them were even wore out. Called the service manager up and confronted him and he tried to give me a line of bull about certain specs and I should’ve brought the van back so they could show me that it was wore out. I’ve been working on vehicles for over 20 years and I’m pretty sure I can tell if a ball joint is wore out or not Just saying they might be trying to take advantage of people that aren’t as knowledgeable in automotive mechanics.

Great local parts store. Doug, Cam, and Brian are all super easy parts guys to deal with. Usually the best prices around and they are willing to call other local parts places for you if they can't get the part. Gotta be patient when they are busy... they're busy for a reason. They also do tire changes and auto mechanic fixes in the shop. I'd definitely recommend Auto Magic, they've been around PG forever and there's good reason for that.

Usually has the cheapest prices in town.. But they sure don't mind making you stand there and wait while they have a nice chat on the phone. Make sure to call in for quotes or to check if they stock a part because the phone seems to be their first priority. If they have your part make sure they grab it for you before you head there otherwise you have to go through the whole process again when you get there. Avoid the old guy if at all possible. He is pretty lame to deal with. Only part so far that was not the cheapest in town was an AC pump (not getting into specifics).. Napa had one way cheaper. Always call around for price quotes first.

Steering fluid was leaking from my Honda Civic. These guys found that it was just a damaged O-ring and fixed it whereas some other mechanics in the town told me that power steering pump is gone. I know where to go next time. Thanks guys!

$1300 and many unnecessary parts later (even though I told them certain parts were less than a year old) my car is still not fixed. They are useless if the problem is not straight forward or requires a little thought. They care more about volume than the quality of their work and its quite noticeable and very disappointing. I was told not to go there by my auntie but I figured I'd give them a shot anyways and I regret it completely. I actively tell ppl not to go there.. Don has no idea what he is doing.. 18may16

These guys ARE magic. Need any work done, bring it here first. On a road trip to Smithers, had issues with wobbly front end. DON'T THINK TWICE... BEST PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TOWN... Don was a huge help today working with my elderly mother and her 2001 Escape. Don came to her vehicle parked outside and assessed the condition of her all season tires that we wanted installed for spring/summer/fall and he took the keys and got right to work on the job. Since we had two vehicles we went shopping and came back at the time he provided and the work on the SUV was completed on time... Auto Magic prices were competitive and beat everyone else in town... Just needed a new thermostat.... they ordered the wrong one so put vehicle on the diagnostics came up with vehicle required a new water pump costing 1500 dollars I took it to another garage there is nothing wrong with the water pump just needs the thermastat... no engine lights on no reason to run test
