SnS is the best automotive repair shop in the Bow Valley. The expertise and quality of work that has been done on my car is incomparable; there simply is no automotive shop better. I appreciate Steve and the guys' honesty and willingness to take the time to speak with me about what work needs to be done on my vehicle and their follow up, after my car has left their shop. It is just amazing customer service on so many levels. I have never had to second guess the information I am given, and always drive away a very happy customer. There is no other choice but Steve and the guys at SnS!!!!

I was worried as a student, moving to Canmore on my own that I wouldn't be able to find a great mechanic shop like the one I had back home but S&S is definitely the best. I have taken all of my vehicles here since moving back out west and have never had a problem with anything. When my BMW broke down, other shops quoted me thousands saying that I needed to take my car to them, but S&S told me that the car wasn't worth fixing and that the money would better be spent on getting a more reliable car. This shows these guys are honest mechanics (didn't try to get me to spend more money on a car that would likely have more troubles) and since getting another car, I have had it solely serviced with them. By far the best shop in Canmore!

I can say anything about a service it self. Because we not get a change to use that! Lady at front desk it should think about her behaviour!!!! If she don't like her job she should quite and don't annoy customers! I booked my appointment 10 days ahead of and show up with van on time. Such a been surprised that we need to wait for one till four hours on waiting list!! I like to to say again lady at front desk should be re-pleased with somebody how know how to speak with customers !!!! I never come back and make sure that all my friends be inform about that story!! I am really disappointed, thank you for wasting my time for two hours for nothing because after last call I rather left the store.

My mom drove 1100 km to see us. Then we drove 200 km to Canmore. The transmission in her van started to slip badly. Thought we would have to tow it 200 km to our place, rent a car for $210, fly my mom home. Van wasn't worth a $1000 repair bill. Brought it in to S&S. They scanned the codes, nothing. Jeff took it for a test drive with the high end scanner, came back and had the van working. No charge. We finished our day in Camore, drove home 200 km and the following day my mom drove back home 1100 km. You can't breathe dealership air for less than $120. I am seriously considering driving 200 km to them anytime I need to have my vehicle worked on. Best service I have seen anywhere.

If you want fast, reliable, and fairly priced work done on your car- this is the place! I have been taking my car here for over 6 years and couldn't be happier! They helped me on various things such as importing a car, checking a new car before I purchased it for any faults, and never laugh when I try and imitate the "sound" my car is making. Glad they are in town it’s a blessing to have them I feel they should up their game when it comes to customer service and phone calls I never know when my car is done or if it has been looked at yet. Not easy to base your week around a shop that doesn’t tell you when your car is in or done when you only have one car to get around in for your whole family!!! I can't thank them enough about taking care of my vehicle today. I had recently a flat tire and it needed to be replaced by the dealership in town since the vehicle is on a lease. However I had an issue with the vehicle yesterday while I was coming down to Canmore. The car started to vibrate really badly and I decided to bring it in. Steve had a quick look at it and the verdict was clear. The bolts which were supposed to be holding my wheel were barely holding in and two of them were completely gone. I have been imediately taken care of even though they were very busy. As usual they were incredibly accommodating and did a great job. This is not the first time I went in and every time they did a superb job. I will definitely recommend them to people I know and will return gladly. It's hard to find a reliable car shop these days. Thank you so much for everything!

They bailed me out a couple of weeks ago when I had issues with a spark plug and a coil pack. Got me in same day, when everyone else in town had a day or more wait time, and when they were already short staffed. Extremely friendly and personable. They were very honest and warned me about potential issues with Ford spark plugs breaking. Reasonably priced, and fixed my truck up so i could safely get back to Manitoba. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best service ever! My car had broken down (issue with the transmission and I wasn’t able to put my car into park ) and I needed to get back to Edmonton for work the next day and they just took my car in , told me to go for a nice hike and 3 hours later called me to say I’m good to go ! This was after going to two other shops that said they couldn’t take my car in till next week! Also shout out to the front desk guy , jokes were funny even though they gave me small heart attacks at first .

He is honest, won't undertake work unless it is necessary, and won't charge you a packet for minor work like some of the others around here. We wanted to share our complete appreciation for the staff at S & S, in Canmore. On the first day of our vacation we pulled into Canmore only to discover that our front tire was rapidly deflating. Following a quick inspection at the first air station I discovered that the the valve stem was almost detached from the wheel. Note; we are riding a Gold Wing motorcycle and had just had over $600 of new tires installed at a Honda dealership in Calgary. How this assembly held any pressure was beyond me. We limped from repair shop to repair shop in town trying to get a valve stem installed, no one would touch a motorcycle tire. The staff at S & S immediately offered their assistance and support. I removed the wheel and tire, they offered me use of their tools and assistance. They installed a valve stem that although was not a perfect fit motorcycle application, it worked well enough to allow us to continue our vacation. Thanks so much to all the staff and owners at S & S. You all applied common sense and courtesy to make a lousy situation good again. I have spent all of my career in the auto industry, great people, great looking shop, and obviously professionally operated, can't recommend them enough. Thanks again.
