DO NOT PUT YOUR SAFETY IN THEIR HANDS!! I am writing this review for my dad who is not in touch with social media world. My father has done business for several years here to purchase his tires and also do the seasonal change overs. This spring he got his summer tires put on and drove home to Peterborough. A short distance into his trip home his vehicle started making noise. The noise got much worse and he took it into a shop in Peterborough and they found all the rims were loose with 6 lug nuts missing. After 120kms unbelievable, they could have been killed. 160 dollars later he is back on the road with some minor rim damage. The next weekend my father went in person to talk to the owner on Bancroft OK tire and he responds they need to be torqued after 100kms. They were making noise in less than 50kms. THEY WERE NEVER TORQUED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! You do not lose 6 lug nuts in 120kms if they were put on properly. To be fair maybe you might get a quarter or half turn on the odd lug nut. They did not apologize,seem to care ,or offer any kind of reimbursement. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have swapped my own tires on both of my vehicles for years and never have had a rim come loose. Scary!

Called and had a appointment when I got there was told wasn't gonna get in for an hour waited the hour and still nothing almost another hour later was told couldn't do any of the things I asked. this was my first time actually getting an appointment here because they also never answer the phone and the service was very poor the guy was rude.

Went in for a 35$ Inspection and they told me I'd need a new tie rod end, sway bar links, and Bumper clips? For 685$ before they can give me an inspection sticker. Upon picking it up I noticed a rattle noise that was not there before.. Took it to another mechanic and only needed a tie rod end. Nothing wrong with the links or my bumper. Only cost me $170 with the inspection. Never trust them guys, they are money hungry. And ALWAYS get a second opinion!

I went to get information on new winter tires that I wanted to purchase. The two ladies that work there were absolutely horrendous. So unprofessional, whenever I asked a question, they made me feel like I was not worth their time. I felt unwelcomed. So many businesses have suffered during the pandemic, they are going far and beyond to ensure that they keep customers coming. The owner of this place is hoping to keep the business going but the 2 ladies are just ruining things there. I left, never turned back, went somewhere else. I spent over $3000 on my new tires. I gave my money and business to someone that truly cared and respected their work. Showed respect, were very friendly and answered all my queries. I don't recommend OK tires to anyone.

Awesome staff here and extremely reasonable pricing. I had an emergency tire repair done (nail inside side wall) and these guys went above and beyond by opening past their regular hours to finish this job and others during the busy Winter tire change season. All other shops could not get this fixed for weeks. Very grateful for the staff here. Next time I’ll be purchasing my tires here too!

Number One in helping me out during what might have been a disastrous situation. Because of my emergency they dropped everything and got me back on the road in jig time. The price of repair was more than reasonable, and did I mention the got me back on the road in jig time.

My father took his car there to get 2 front tires replaced They inspected the front end and gave him a quote I have paper work saying he needed one stabilizer link ( I knew that ) and 2 control arms the stabilizer link was correct and he did not need any control arms people need to pay more attention on who's stealing their money I've been in the automotive industry for almost 20 years

Terrible experience called for appointment finally got through to them... which never happens, get there for my appointment to find out i have to wait "atleast an hour" after hour and a half they finally take in the vehicle, after another hour they tell me they can't do anything... the guy was very rude! And definitely will not be going to Sydney river ok tire again... thanks for nothing guys

I did not have a good experience at this location and will not give okay tire business again. I was a repeat customer, I purchased new tires, went in with my vehicle with no problems, once finished i got in my Van and engine was on, I asked the manager and the mechanic wanted to say it was on, i assured them it was never on and my vehicle is serviced. The mechanic went back out and took my vehicle back to the garage, pulled away with disrespect of my property. I advised the manager of what I witness and he said its my word against all of them, never been so disrespected and upset. This was Sydney River Okay Tire. Take care.
