The vehicle I needed worked on has been in the family since new and was starting to signs of wear. I wanted to get away from dealing w a dealership because truthfully I never felt like they were doing us any favors. I was referred to Ward Tirecraft and was pleasantly surprised. I got in quick, I recieved a call regarding my repair, and some recommendations were made that I was scpeticle on but with wanting this vehicle to remain 100% tip top I agreed to the suggestions. Being very much an enthusiast of all kinds of cars ( the one I'm speaking of is an Audi ) I was so happy with not only the results, but with the friendly demeanor, and most of all a reasonable price. I was happy, and so was the wife which can be difficult at times. This is now the second of three vehicles serviced at Ward, and with this kind of service offered I'll be back without a doubt. Thanks again gang and thanks for making this far more pleasant of an experience than expected.

Found the lowest price on winter tires for my car. Exceptionally lower than other places. Salesperson told me they are new from last year. Found out, although they are new, the manufactured date on the tire is 2014. Hopefully 6-year-old brand new winter tires are just as good as 2020 new tires. Update: Will contact owner as requested. Email says "older" version (not discontinued). Was told inhouse that they were last year's model, not 6 yrs old. Looked into "new" old tires and the manufacturers all suggest EXPIRERY DATE on tires is 6 years. So essentially I was sold expired tires? Are they safe????

So I called them to get 11r22.5 XDS2. We have national account for Michelin. I was surprised and shocked to hear that because that’s the last set of 8 left and they want to sell it for $900. He don’t want to sell on national account as they only get$25 of them.because they are the only location who have these tires so they want me to charge about $200 extra as they normally would sell them for 700. SHAME ON YOU.

I have 2 issues with this OK Tire location: (1) I had an inspection done there for a used car I was looking at buying. I got a call after the inspection saying everything was perfect except a crack in the windshield which was pretty obvious. The previous owner also had new winter tires put on since he had gotten a flat and needed new ones anyway. I ended up buying the car but after a week or two I noticed some vibrations while driving and though maybe a weight had fallen off. I was in a different city at the time and took it it to be looked at. The tire shop said the wheels hadn't even been balanced and the rims were bent so bad they could not balance them and would have to be replaced (~$1000). I would think being a "professional" tire shop they would of been able to catch this either while replacing the tires or during the inspection... (2) Even though I paid for the inspection they also gave it to the previous owner which is illegal without my consent and which I did not provide.

Ok tire 99th and 41st Edmonton!!! Been there 2 times now - waited 12 months between visits even used different vehicles. The Groupon Price was a sweet $40 for both. NEVER AGAIN. The First Visit found my brakes needed replacing - no way was I going to shell out $300+ to a stranger - had Integra Tire on 99th inspect my brakes - just like an earlier review still had 80% of the brakes. When I read the "Dealers" comment I am angered - they are not that busy. There is no excuse for scamming people. Our last Visit was going to cost $300+ for links and bushings plus battery cleaning after the inspection. But they would not Look at the Check engine light unless I shelled out $80.00. I drove to INTEGRA TIRE on 99th. They took no time at all to tell me the inspection from OK was Crap, and they told me outright what why the check engine light was on - Total Cost - $ 0.00. They also looked at the Bushings and the battery - so what - we just did them 6 months ago - nothing WRONG. The Gentlemen at Integra will Show you EXACTLY what is wrong - They are Honest. They will only do work on your Vehicle that Needs to be done. NEVER EVER going to OK tire again. Groupon or no Groupon.

I dropped in to get a quote for tires for our daughter’s Toyota Prius. Two quotes (different manufacturers) were provided and clearly explained by Phil. The quotes were also documented on a sheet he provided. There was no pressure to make an immediate decision. The next day I confirmed which set I wanted and installation was completed in in just over an hour. The price was as quoted, without any “surprises” or upsell attempts along the way. I recommend this business because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff, clear communication, efficient service and competitive pricing.

I am impressed with the service that was provided to me. I came in to change the serpentine belt in my sedan. They delivered the work for less than half of the quoted price. I then asked them to take a look at a noise, and they spent nearly an hour creating a fix for it with not charge. They took care of me and exceeded my expectations enormously.

Excellent! The staff are very good at what they do. More importantly they do not over-sell you on things that may not need to be done. About 3 years ago my dealership said that there were so many repairs that needed to be done to my car that it almost wasn't worth it for the value of the car. They implied that my car needed repairs so desperately that it may not even be safe to drive it home and take some time to think about it. I took my car to Alex and Christen at Okay Tire - they did what needed doing and told me where the dealership was 'over suggesting' me. I spent about only about $1 and now, 3 years later, I am still driving a great car with many, many more km in it.

I went in only for an oil change and they did a routine brake check and filled my tires as well as refilling the basic fluids like windshield juice. In doing the brake check they were able to discover what I could not and fixed my brakes during the same appointment with little extra waiting. Would stop by again!

Went here for an oil change because I had a groupon. The service was good and staff were friendly, but I'm giving it a poor rating because the guy who drove my truck got the inside so dirty. there were big, brown, dirt stains on the seat, door, and all handles and controls he clearly touched. When I went back and asked for it to be cleaned the management saw to it that my problem was fixed, but the guy's half ass cleaning job with a wet rag didn't do much, I'm pretty particular and take excellent care of my vehicle and I will be lucky if I ever get those stains out now. I will never be coming back here no matter how good of a deal it is..

My experience with booking an appointment was smooth. There was a mixup with a product ordered and installed, however, this shop and advisor GG did correct the situation in a very timely manner and was professional about the situation. I was referred to them by a friend of mine. First time I went to the work shop was for a pre purchase inspection for a car I bought privately. They found out a few issues. However, they only advised me to fix those things that are related to road safety. Ward Tirecraft's service focus is not to compromise on road safety, however they will try to save as much as possible by advising on what is absolutely necessary. Initially I thought they were expensive.When I compared with the market they're in the mid range, 10-30 dollar more than the cheapest service but service wise it's worth every penny. Their Manager Alex deals with every client personally before and after service. Once the mechanics are done with the car he personally checks the car before delivery. To me safety is the most important, I need to know that the mechanic is doing the best job on my car, I need to have total trust on the workshop I am dealing with. And I trust Ward Tirecraft on 99th St for my Car.

Great service from these folks. I was a walk in for a simple tire repair and although they said they were swamped, they managed to fit me in in time for me to pick up my car by lunch. I was quite satisfied with the tire service. I did take a star off of my review as, despite COVID mandates in place at the time, no employees were wearing masks that I could see, and when I went to pick up my vehicle, a staff member was speaking, unmasked, with two customers and their child who were also unmasked. In the depths of a fourth wave with severe ICU limitations I am concerned for the welfare of both Ward Tirecraft staff as well as their clients as I would hate to see a great business adversely affected by a Covid outbreak.

One of the worst customer service I have ever seen in Canada. I could not able to reply you so I am editing over here I was leaving happily as I did not want to wait 3 hours but the guy stopped me and started to argue me. One of your guys said last time, try to be here at the store in the morning and we will try to change the oil in 1 or 2 hours. Four customers were ahead of me right? You guys open at 8 am and I was there at 8:04 or 8:05. I did not see even a single customer why? You had dealt with all the 4 customers in just 4-5 minutes. Brought in my car to get my brakes & suspension work done. Staff was very friendly, and got me to & from work that day as well. While I was at work Alex sent me photos of his diagnosis on my vehicle with quotes for the work needing to be done that included options on what was most critical based on my budget. I wasn't happy with my experience here when getting an oil change. Maybe it was because I used a Groupon but the service experience was bad. I dropped my car off at 830 as instructed and was surprised it would take several hours. After phoning and checking the status I was surprised to learn it would not be ready til 4 - very surprising for an oil change. I was especially annoyed that someone from the Ford dealership brought a vehicle in without an appointment and was in and out in the time I was waiting in the lobby between 330 and 4. I suggest not coming here for an oil change, even if there is a seemingly great deal. Very disappointing.

After going to a different mechanic 3 times for the same problem and not getting it fixed, I was extremely frustrated when they still didn't find the problem with the car and how to fix it. I went to Ward Tire craft and they were able to find it pretty quickly and fix it in a great amount of time. Update: December 2017. Went in today to get my TPMS light reset. I was told that my business was no longer wanted because of my review below. I was quite surprised at the reaction. First they offer poor service, and it leads to a bad review. Then, instead of trying to rectify the situation, they throw a long time customer to the curb. I expressed how silly I thought their business mentality was... If they just apologized and asked how they could turn the bad review into a good one, they might be looking at a 5-star review again. This fell on deaf ears. Apparently I'm to blame for pointing out an issue with their level of customer service. Dropping my rating to 1/5 =============== Half the time you get good service. Half the time it is terrible. Today I had an appointment at 8am (yes they do appointments now) to get new all seasons on my crv. My car went in the garage at 8:05. At 8:45 they came to tell me that they don't have any tires. It'll be at least 1hr30 until they can get them. When i booked the appointment, I was very clear that I had other appointments, and couldn't be there after 10am. "Staff member" [name removed because they felt hurt that I named them personally, and it was not my intention to blame one person] told me the tires were in stock, and they would have them here for the appointment. Guess not... So how did they solve the problem? Well... they didn't... it was basically just 'tough luck ' for me. They could have offered a different set of tires with a discount.... but they didn't. They could have offered to stay late today and make it work... but they didn't. They could have bent over backwards to fix their mistake and help a long time customer... but they didn't. Now I'm left with bald tires, I work all next week, and then I'm off to jasper for a 5 day road trip... on bald tires. Thanks a lot OK Tire... nothing is ok about this.

My second time to this garage. I was impressed with the customer service the first time for my oil change (with groupon, it cost me $6 at the store). Alex and the mechanic noticed problems and gave quotes for the work. I knew about the problems and had a quote from the dealer. The prices way better than the dealership on my 05 Toyota. An uber driver gave me Alex’s card some months back when my car was overheating and asked me to give him a call. But, I forgot because I thought I’d solved the overheating by topping up with engine coolant. However in September, my car started misbehaving again. The front valve cover was leaking and the water pump was also leaking. Took it to an auto shop in Leduc. It got fixed but it was Alex that made me understand they didn’t do a good job because days later the car got bad again. This time I remembered the card from the Uber guy and gave Ward Tirecraft a call. I’ll be honest I was scared the whole time about the financial expense of fixing the car because I had spent a lot fixing it the first time. I’m a student with a part time job so money is hard to come by. Alex was very helpful. His sole goal wasn’t about the money but about getting the car fixed and running. He gave me his word and even told me to come back if it doesn’t work. It turns out the problem with my car was a whole lot more than just the water pump and the valve cover. Alex was able to discover that all the spark plugs were corroded and some other malfunction that was hurting the engine of the car and got it all fixed. I am grateful. It’s been a couple of weeks after the car was fixed and it’s been running smoothly so far. Thank you so much Alex for helping me out.

I went to OK Tire on 99 street (Edmonton) to have the alignment done on my vehicle. Prior work inspection, they identified the front right tie rod of my vehicle need to be replaced. They informed me that the alignment would be a waste of money if the tie rod was not replaced. As I had the work done on the front arms of my vehicle a few months before by a dealership in the city, I took the vehicle back to the dealership to verify if the work would still be covered by the warranty. Long story short, the mechanics from the dealership said there was nothing wrong with the inner tie rod. The OK Tire team showed me the rod had play and offered to go back with me to the dealership to show their mechanics the issue. At the end, the dealership acknowledged the inner tie rod had play and the issue had to be addressed. Please note that OK Tire never charged anything for lifting my vehicle twice in their shop, and for going to talk with the dealership's mechanics. Terrible place - take your money elsewhere. Specifically Stacey Sliter is miserable to deal with and would leave you fumigating every visit. I had an oil-change Group On. The deal was great and that was it. Whenever I would call to book it, the second I said that I'd like to book an "Oil Change and it's a Groupon", her voice just got angered and I would be given a booking date over 30 days away. I have never received good service from Stacey. Very unprofessional. I would show up for my appointment and she would start serving me then take phone calls, chat with other employees as if I'm not there. Very rude. I would be in the lobby waiting for my oil change and she would make fun of customers that had just left or that just called, out loud to other employees, and everyone in the lobby can hear her. The only reason I can imagine she's still working there is because she either owns the place or is the boss's wife. I always left feeling insulted that she's able to treat customers like that. Because of her, I would never go again and have never gotten any work done past the oil-changes. Take your business elsewhere.

I stopped by at this location to swap my summer tires for winter tires. I spoke with young men at the reception and he agreed to match Fountain Tire price and swap them for 84,00$. The rice included removing old summer tires from the rims and discarding them. When it came to pay their work another clerk informed me that total will be 96$. I questioned the price telling him that previous clerk agreed for 84,00$. Person behind the counter with anger changed something in the computer and informed me about the new total which still was not what we both agreed to. I asked why the balance is still higher? The clerk answered me that extra charge was for supplies. When I asked what supplies he finally adjusted the price to what was originally offered. After leaving the shop I noticed that at a higher speed wheels were wobbling. I brought car to Fountain Tire and they told me that all 4 tires were underinflated at 2.4 psi against what it supposed to be 3.0 psi. Arrogant service and they do very poor work overcharging for the service. I feel like they did not listen to me in the first place and did unsafe labour on my car. I will never ever return to this location.

We had the dealfind oil change and inspection. Their "retail price' listed was ridiculously high but we were happy with the $20 voucher price even though it was out of our way to go there. We knew that they were going to charge us an upgrade fee for synthetic oil. We were very surprised to find that they were going to gouge us an upgrade fee of 150% of the cost of buying the oil retail from a dealership. Our invoice also indicates that the wrong oil was put into the car. The "customer service" person treated my wife like she was an inconvenience. I have believed that the point of the different vouchers out there were for marketing so that the companies could impress us with their value and level of service. They have definitely helped us make a purchasing decision. OK Tire will not receive any further business from us.

I went to WardTirecraft to have my battery checked. My car wouldn't start without a boost even though I had it plugged in during the very cold weather. I brought my vehicle for an oil change using Groupon because it was $120 for Three Full Synthetic Oil Change. The first time I came, they did a good job and made sure that they've put synthetic in and I knew that because the sticker that they've put in has a SYN(meaning synthetic). Although I had to pay an extra of $14. Second time I brought it in, I totally forgot to ask for synthetic so okay that's fine It was my fault and so I planned to come earlier than 5000km because I'm running on conventional oil. Got it in today and made sure I tell myself clear that I wanted the synthetic oil as that's what I purchased on groupon. Next thing you know it, I got the same conventional oil. How do I know, I overheard them talking about how I got conventional the last time I got my oil change so they will just put the same thing(and expect me to think they put synthetic), secondly the reason why I know is that there is no SYN beside the oil grade on the sticker they sticked to my car for when you're supposed to come back. All in all, this is my last one, not again.

My truck originally comes with 22 inch rims and the 18 inch rims would’ve been too much of a difference between summer and winter. I went in for an oil change several months ago with a Groupon certificate. Everything seemed to be okay. However, my car started making strange noises (empty wind noise, like it had no power) a couple months later (mind you, I wasn't due for an oil change a month later). I got it checked out at a dealership as I personally know somebody working there. When they lifted the lid, they saw that oil was spilled everywhere. There was pretty much no oil in the vehicle. They had informed me that the technician that had done my oil change had forgotten to put my oil cap back on... causing oil to spill all over my parts :(. I ended up getting another oil change elsewhere and my oil was cleaned as much as possible but I've had nothing but problems with my vehicle since. The people there are nice, but I believe this is a huge oversight, and unfortunately it's caused so many more problems. Pretty bummed out.

I got a flat tire last night and due to the recent cold snap, road side assistance wasn't a realistic option. I had to leave my vehicle in a gas station parking lot overnight. This morning (after my assistance was a no show) we drove to multiple tire shops to ask if we could get the vehicle to them, could they fix the tire or swap to the spare quickly 6 shops said "maybe, leave the truck and we'll try to get to it." I use my truck for work, this was not an option. I walked into this tire shop, their response, "absolutely, you get it here, we will take care of it right away." After a hellish night of on call work i couldnt respond to, waiting on help that never came, leaving my vehicle on the south side late last night (I live West of Edmonton), up at 4am to go back to my truck to meet no one, this shop was a blessing. They knew nothing of what I had been dealing with, I believe this is just how they operate. They repaired my tire within minutes of my arrival with my truck...then waived the charge. I was happy to pay for the exceptional service but he put it in the system as no charge. I highly recommend this shop, they understand and practice good service, the gentleman I dealt with was personable, and the technician was efficient with my repair. I will pay forward their kindness during a very inconvenient situation. 5 star service for sure. Thank you so much for your help today.

I like the fact that Ward Tirecraft you can book an appointment and be in and out in no time, had my tires changed, and was in there for about 30 minutes great price as well . Also got a print out for some additional work I'll be doing in the spring great rates very knowledgeable this is where I usually bring my truck brakes tires upgrades ,looking forward to getting my intake installed thanks Leah!!

Be careful before buying coupon from Grupon and giving any business to OK Tires(99 street, Edmonton) They do not hesitate to steal money. Yes steal!!! I bought the group coupon to do wheel alignment for $39 and bring my car soon after that. They said they can not do wheel alignment until I fix other issue with my car. Which is fine. They also marked coupon as redeemed and they informed me that I can bring this or any other vehicle ANY time for wheel alignment at same price. I called in to book appointment for my another vehicle, then they informed me that coupon has been expired and so I need to pay $90 more (current price - $39)!!!

I was overall not happy with the treatment at this OK tire location. I purchased tires over the phone and the staff was courteous.The problem is getting the tires on the car. They do not take appointments and operate on a first come, first served system. I cannot miss work and do not have a second car so I went on Saturday. I was at the door at 7:40 AM - when they opened the doors there was a rush in and it was not at all clear who was there first. Then we were told they still had 5 cars from the night before to work on. I was out at noon after waiting for 4 hours!I understand they work hard and are busy at this point in the season, but there has to be a better way to handle customers than a stampede. Update: This got worse. When I got home, I found that instead of them installing new tires on new steel rims, they installed the tires on my factory rims, no new rims at all. I had to return one more time so they can re-install and re-balance 8 tires. Eventually all seems OK. Update 2: even worse: the two sets of tires (summer, winter) are not balanced at all.

This one star is because there is no option below this. My feedback is not for repair but for attitude the girl on reception. I went to show them my vehicle because there was some weird sound coming out of tire. They told me to leave the vehicle there to see what is going on and also told me to not charge anything for checking what is going on and how much cost to me. After hour i got a call in which they told me the problem and how much cost to me. I called to may place and i got the quote way lesser than that so i decided to not to go with them. As i denied to repair with them she told me that i have to pay 69$ diagnosis fee. but i told them they did not describe me before . So she find herself on back foot and told me any time i can pick my keys and disconnected my phone. The way she talked is pretty much rude. My suggestion to them kindly interact the customer as good as they can so we feel comfortable next time if need there help in future

I too had the groupon for a $20 oil change with free inspection. They quoted me $360 to replace pads and rotors on the 2 front tires. Upon going to another CERTIFIED mechanic, he told me that there was only 20% wear on both front brakes and that I still had 75-80% left!!! So, being a female with no mechanical knowledge, they would have gladly taken my money and ripped me off!!! When I called to confront them, the service manager really had no answer other than "ma'am, do you know how many vehicles we see everyday?" My second opinion mechaniic was so infuriated that this type of thing happens so often and that is why good mechanics get a bad rap! Thank god I did not hand over my money and went for the second opinion!

My only complain would be is when I brought my car for wheel balancing they found my wheels to be missing 3 hub centric, although they gave me 1 free of charge but they didnt offer me if I would like to order the missing 2 nor gave me the size for the missing hub centric so that I may get it somewhere else without having to measure it myself. Moreover they recommended that my tires need be rotated so my question is why they did not call me and ask me if I wanted it also done at the same time when they had my car for the whole day? I would go back here because the staff was very friendly and price is also modest and staff is competent, but I hope that next time they will inform me of other things I need done before going ahead. Haha only if they call me back for tire rotation then I would totally recommend to my other 1000 asian friends! ????

Not that I expect anybody to listen or care or for this to make a difference, but I want to get it off my chest. About 1 year ago I came in to have my winter tires put on my factory rims and I also mentioned that they had been leaking so if they could check that that would be great. They pulled off the summer tires and broke all of the sensors off and replaced them without checking with me first. They told me that they were already cracked and that was why they were leaking. Sounded logical but they were the ones that did the previous tire change as well which would mean that they cracked them in the first place. I had come in for a $150 tire change and ended up paying $600. Not only did it seem to take forever but when I though I saw it done, I also saw 2 men (1 being the manager I believe) get into my car and leave and only 1 returned 15-20 minutes later. I confronted the manager as soon as he got back asking where the other guy was and he was stunned and told me that there was no other guy. I kept pushing it and he finally just said it was his mechanic and he dropped him off at the back of the shop. That was a load of crap otherwise he wouldn't have lied in the first place. I am just now writing this because here I am again at ok tire (only because I have a groupon to finish using) and I had booked it in for an oil change and for them to check my tires which are again leaking. Even with having it booked in for opening time and showing up 20 mins early, I was told that I would be here for at least 4 hours because they have other bookings. I don't understand what the point of me booking it in was if I am not important enough to honour it. business is just not important?
