Whomever wrote the other reviews I cannot believe what you are saying. I paid less for my oil change on my diesel vehicle than at my dealership. Plus I received discount for AMA and I always receive top notch service from friendly, knowledgeable technicians.

Friendly staff, but they don't know what they're doing. As a matter of fact after getting what was supposed to be a simple oil change, they had caused damage to the vehicle and there was oil everywhere. They had me start the vehicle with the oil cover off which caused oil to be all over the engine and under hood area. Had to performe an engine wash after the oil change. Also they failed to properly secure engine skid plate. Now I see why no one goes there. This was the most costly and time consuming oil change service ever. Wasted nearly 2 hours of my valuable time and costs me over a hundred bucks to fix up and clean up the disaster they had caused to my vehicle. Not pleased at all. Aldo they fobe top up your washer fluid. Highly NOT recommended. Better off changing the oil yourself. Overpriced and unqualified.

Beware of the skid plate scam. They now offer a coupon online for $15 yet now charge an extra $15 for skid plate removal NOT MENTIONED IN ANY ADS on a Ford Escape??? They say because it takes time on newer cars. I used to bring in a 2014 F-150 that actually had real skid plates and was never charged anything. Was also never charged anything more on my CX-9. Again...a RIPOFF... Never...ever...forget to tell them to only change the oil or untrained technicians will be playing in your new twin scroll turbo engine testing the antifreeze a car that has 10K KM's on it???...Ok if you are in a hurry but very expensive in the end, and again, it is less scary to go to the OEM dealer...

Very bad experience . I went for oil change , one of my tire was having 20psi instead of 30psi that i noticed and check with my own gauge when i was having car wash just nect door. Lube city technician checked air and said all tires are good no need to fill air lol. When I told him that I already checked and its 20 psi he said there is difference in your gauge and mine. Then he checked my coolant he said its not full but near to full, we will not write full but we will write low on invoice. Next day when I was on road my car broke down due to low coolant level. All were lies.atleast speak truth and charge for refills.

This may have been one of the worst service experiences I have had in recent memory. Let me preface by saying - I worked at a Lube shop for a good chunk of my teenage years so I understand the model/push to upsell services. tl;dr - Technician tried to aggressively upsell with no idea what he was talking about. Was then charged for services never actually done. First a technician tried to tell me my power steering fluid was frozen. Then after that guy left to help a different customer, his colleague proceeded to show me samples of my (not frozen) fluid. He insisted I do the service because if I didn't my "power steering...ummm...lines are going to...ah...break and leak and damage". He couldn't even accurately describe the nature of why the fluid was important yet was so sure it needed to be changed. He went on to insist the transmission fluid was also very bad though the level wasn't "dangerously low" like the power steering. I didn't bother telling him that I had the transmission flushed last fall so the fluid is less than 6 months old. I decline the up-sells and proceed to go pay the bill. You will imagine my surprise when I am charged for a "Full Service" with 31 services marked. Now obviously I knew what the price would be- but when approximately 5 of the 31 items are actually done, I hoped I would get some sort of discounted rate. Instead each and every item on the Invoice was marked as completed (or N/A). Best of all - same power steering that I was told was "dangerously low" is marked as "Full", and no fluid of any kind was added. The technician felt it was appropriate to make up tire pressures, conditions of various parts, low washer fluid (it was filled 3 days ago), and I apparently declined a vacuum and other complimentary services. I brought up the fact that none of these things were done and the technician stared at me awkwardly, walked to the bay door, started opening it and said "okay bye sir". How am I supposed to be confident my vehicle even has the proper oil and filter since they lied about almost everything else This place is a joke. Never go here unless you plan on specifically watching to make sure they actually do the things they are charging you for. And even then....don't go

Definitely not a good place I would like to say! Try to sell their services with an extra charge on top of the basic charge, which is $74.00, for a quich oil change..$35.00 to change the filter and other charges to fill check and top up the other liquids when you get all these done with the basic charges everywhere else. Unfortunate that we all are in rush and sometimes we don't have choice and ends up going to the places like these for a quick oil change and ended up paying $200.00 for the freakin' oil change you get for $70.00-$75.00.

I have a 2012 Q5 , pulled in to get what I assumed would be a routine oil change, spent almost an hour in the bay to find out they didn’t have the capability to unscrew the drain plug. No clue what they are doing.

I got an oil change that was supposedly a synthetic blend. Highly over priced oil change I might add. The young man who did my oil change told me that the synthetic blend was really just ordinary oil with 3% synthetic oil. I told him that was very misleading and he agreed. I normally pay the same amount for a true synthetic oil change as the 3,% regular blend. What a joke. I was also told that my transmission seals were not good and that transmission oil was leaking but it wasn't that bad...funny just had my transmission fully serviced, new seals oil etc. Never ever will I get an oil change at Lube city again. I can't believe there are businesses like this that their only goal is to take advantage of people and rip them off!

I went to this place about a month ago. To get an oil change in my 2003 Hyundai Elantra, I usually go to Mr.Lube, but thought I'd give this place a try as it was only 1km from my house. I told the guy there I wanted synthetic oil, they did the oil change and nothing else and I was charged over $145.00! Now this car has a 4 cylinder engine and holds LESS than 4 litres of oil! When I take my Dodge 1500 with a Hemi to Mr.Lube I get synthetic oil put in, and it usually costs me just under $100.00 for twice the amount of synthetic oil! I would not recommend this place, unless you like getting ripped off!

Shady. Went for a simple oil change, was advertised as 80.00 bucks, they charged me 110.00. Not sure what for as they didn't check tires, other fluids, or lights. Completely robbed us. Do not recommend going here, they will rip you off, guaranteed.

Just had the best experience! Francis and his team at this location were amazing and super pleasant to deal with. I came in with a stressful situation and, had even stalled on a major road on my way over to them. Francis made me feel at ease, he let me know that he would help me anyway he could to get me back on the road safely. He did just that! 10/10 do not recommend. Just paid $140 to get my oil changed and that is literally all they did — no checking my other fluid levels, no checking my tires, and didn’t check my lights at all... all things they have written on the wall saying they do. The “technician” doing the upstairs work also decided to stop doing any work to have a fifteen minute conversation while I sat there. Worst quick lube experience of my life.

So we went there and the people running the shop try to sell me a flush of my oil for an extra $30. Which is complete nonsense when it has to be drained to replace the oil. Do not go anywhere but your dealer and make sure you know what is being done and ask them because he was stunned when I said my oil has to be drained anyway so why pay the extra money.

Oil change, fluids, tire pressure. Around 50 bucks total with my coupon, got the synthetic blend which was recommended for my vehicle. Thanks guys.

Had battery issues and needed it checked out AMA told me that Lube City could do the check and replace battery if needed. We were in the middle of that cold snap when AMA pulled their battery trucks off the road due to safety reasons; this is the place to go if you need battery services. Price for new battery was a little higher but from what l could tell and see the service was excellent better than Canadian Tire on 23 ave. That's for sure.. Give them a go next time you need battery service Thank you Lube City.

Lube city is inconsistent and unprofessional. They already charge more than most places for basic services and then fail to honor advertised promotions even when you are documented as a return customer. I wont make that mistake again. I should have realized when I was the only one there and they still treated me poorly and still tried to fit in some upselling for the brief time I was there.

I wasn't going to write a review, but this place does not own up to their actions. When I changed my tires this spring I noticed an oil leak on my car, I had called Hyundai regarding my oil leak thinking it will be something serious, which led me taking my vehicle to an auto mechanic. Diagnosis of my oil leak led to no gasket being around my filter and a loose oil plug on my oil pan. A follow up appointment was made with Lube City to discuss the oil leaks, excuses where made of how it would not be possible for them to miss a gasket on their filters and quickly pulled up their fine prints stating that nothing should be tempered with. Regardless the oil leaks were on parts last touched by lube city employees which resulted in no gasket on the filter and a loose oil plug. Be careful people this place might cost you a motor.

When I want an oil change, I want an oil change. I want to be in line with people also getting an oil change because it’s a quick process, or should be. Why would I want to be in line with people rotating their tires! Seriously! I have switched to Lube City and so far nothing but short waits and quick oil changes.
