My go-to for any piercings I get. They're quick, efficient, very kind, and easy-going, and the place is super clean. The lady at the counter complimented me on my hair, and the guy that pierced me was super easy-going and funny. I got a nose & an industrial piercing and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. I've had four piercings done here and won't go anywhere else.

I just moved to york, and this was my first time being in the mall here. I went to them to get my nose repierced. This is the first time I have had my nose ring in 3 years. The man was really quick, and I was really calm and collective for everything. this is a nice place I want to come back for my belly piercing, and maybe another piercing on my ear. 5 Stars!

My daughter and I went here to get our noses pierced in March the gentleman that did the piercing was polite, clean, and respectable! He was patient with me, as I was a big baby!!! I just went back today and had the same guy change my original piercing to a hoop! Same excellent experience !!! If I would have had time I was going to inquire about a tattoo I want done... next time!!! Bottom line this shop is clean and knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them!! Great job!!

Looked for several years for someone to do a military tattoo on my inner forearm. Talked to artists in Maryland, Delaware and Texas. No one could replicate the design. That is until I went to GrindHouse. Yeah, I know it's in a frkn' mall but Kelly, the owner was confident she could do it. It's been almost 18 months and looks new. I have "mature skin" as she put it (I'm 70) and actually didn't expect it to look this good after this long. She is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Very clean establishment.

Got my second hole ear pierced and thought I was in clean environment, until I got a major infection. I called and told them what had happened and how I was going to the Doctors. They advised me to come in to see them as doctors don't know how to properly know how to treat a new piercing. My ear kept getting worse, so I was advised by many Doctors to go to the ER. I was told something used to pierced my ear was not properly sterilized, causing this major infection, that was spreading fast onto my cheek, leading to go to the ER. I called them after to further let them know....spoke with the manager who didn't seem to care...I've had many piercings and not once have I ever had this happen.. this was due to poor sterilization/cleaning that they claim to have.

I've gone there for most of my piercings and never had a bad experience! My old favorite piercer is now a tattoo artist and no longer pierces, but I can't wait to go back and get more piercings from someone else! Everyone is trained very well in what they do. I haven't had a tattoo done from any of the artists yet (I'm too young) but many people I know get amazing tattoos from there. I have met some of the artists and they're chill and very nice to talk to. Always awesome service and the employees are very nice. It is a warm atmosphere and there's cool art throughout the place to look at while you wait for your session.

Love this place! I'm from Hanover, and make the trip out to them in York when I want a piercing, because they do such a great job. I've gotten my daith, tragus, outer conch, septum, and nostril pierced here. Never had any issues with any of them. The employees are super chill, and make sure you are comfortable with the placement of the piercing before you go through with it. Definitely check them out. And, don't forget to tip!

Got my daith pierced and got a bubble I went back to them for advice and was treated like I was wasting their time. The staff could even be bothered to get off the couch to look at my piercing. This was my first cartilage piercing and I had no idea what to expect. I left and went to another tattoo shop that was friendlier and helped even though they weren't the shop that did the piercing.

Kelly and Jacque are extremely hard workers and put most of their time into their career. I have several tattoos and piercing from them. Grindhouse Tattoo is the only place I go for tattoos or piercings anymore. The staff is incredibly friendly with good senses of humor and attitudes, and they're professionals with lots of experience. The shop is kept clean, and all materials that aren't single-use are cleaned with an autoclave. Jewelry is of good quality. Artwork is fabulous. Everyone here works hard to give clients the best work possible at reasonable prices. The shop only continues to grow and add amenities, really rounding out the entire experience.

Clean. Super friendly staff all around. I went to get my second hole re-pierced. I hadn’t worn an earring in it for a few years so it closed up. Did a drop in. Paid, signed paperwork, got the work done and out the door in about 20min. I also requested a gold stud instead of surgical steel ones and they had them! It’s been a week now and it healed up really well so far. Can’t even tell that it was just pierced. Will definitely go back for other piercings in the future.

Very clean and conveniently located in the York Galleria. The employees were also very qualified and friendly. I had my double helix done and the whole process took, maybe, 20 minutes! So I got my nose pierced at Grindhouse went back after 4 months bought an 80 dollar 14k gold stud had Lars put it in was told that if I wanted to change it out i would have to come back in. Well washing my face yesterday the ting literally fell right out down the drain. No tugging didnt get it caught if I did I would own up to it. Well Kelly did not believe me I know she thought I was lying. They wouldnt even replace it with a cheap 10 dollar stud. Unreal. Never ever have I been traded with such careless ness. So a while back I decided I wanted my first tattoo on a whim. Grindhouse had zero problem not only bringing me in but also extended every professional courtesy in ensuring I knew how to treat the tattoo after the fact. Here we are sometime later and not only was the initial work awesome (A script piece by Scott, which the rest of the staff had no problem looking over as well) but it continues to look as if it were just inked yesterday. The shop is also incredibly nerd and military friendly, and clean. The term "tattoo/piercing parlor" sometimes conjures mental images of horror movies, this place couldn't have made me feel more at home.

Only give one star, not a good place to go and get a tattoo, they give you a board walk tattoo, charge a lot and tattoos are poor in quality, me and my girlfriend got tattoos there her flowers look like 4 leaf clovers, and my tattoo that was was to be a wolf looks like a poor man's husky, asked about fixing the tattoos and they got rude to us, $600.00 down the toilet now we have to go to a real tattoist to got them fixed. Don't waste your money or time go to a professional place, thanks for nothing, people that like this place don't know a good tattoo if it would bite them in the butt.

When another shop wasn't comfortable doing the piercing I wanted I came here for a second opinion. I was greeted by a very kind receptionist who let a piercer know that I had some questions. I ended up meeting Lars (I'm not sure how he spells it) who answered my questions and explained my options in detail. I was able to get exactly what I wanted done with minimal discomfort. He made sure I was happy with the piercing and feeling OK afterwards, (the "third eye" location is known to bleed a bit). Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional, great experience!

Today a friend of mine and I went in to get piercings. Both of us have been there before and had good experiences but today was next level. The piercer, Shelby, did an outstanding job. She was incredibly friendly and personable, yet was also able to keep me calm because I tend to get nervous. I've had my nose pierced on 2 separate, previous occasions (by other professionals) and this one was hands down my best experience. Shelby's quick but not in a sloppy way at all and she even went above and beyond to help me get a piece of jewelry in an old piercing that she didn't even do. i got tattooed there and it came our worse than I thought ..my tattoo scabbed really bad and when if finaly healed it looked like the woman used water to tattoo me with..i have many tattoos and I know how to take care of them and what it is supposed to look like and she missed it by a long shot ... ow and custom tattoos my butt I found my so called custom tattoo that was drawn for me in a flash sheet in the tattoo shop that had to fix my (custom tattoo)..don't wast your time or money ... I usualy don't leave bad comments but this wasn't even funny ...I forget her name I think she was has been tattooing for a short time and it shows ....NOT HAPPY

Customer service is wonderful! Everyone is friendly and helpful and nice. I got a piercing changed out there, so I thought getting an actual piercing would be great. I went in and everything was fine. As the weeks went by, I was having trouble with the stud sinking into the piercing itself because the gem was too small. Finally, it sunk far enough that I couldn’t push it back through. I had to pull out the stud, which was a very painful experience, and put a ring in it’s place so I know it wont sink in the piercing. Very disappointed because it shouldn’t have been pierced with something with that small of a gem. Thankful I could salvage the piercing because it would have been $40 something down the drain (including tip). The first photo is the stud they gave me. Second is after I pulled it out. Third is the ring I put in.

They take time to thoroughly explain the care of your tattoo or piercing and make sure they know what you want. Skotty pierced my industrial and made sure I knew not to get hair color on it while it was healing (I have purple hair). Another guy who I talked to there remembered me when I came back to buy some more H2Ocean a few days later. This shop would be a great choice for someone getting their first ink or piercing.

Super clean place & nice staff. Got second lobe piercings here a few days ago. I have historically bad reactions to piercings but the day after the piercing my ears felt perfectly fine with no pain, redness, or swelling like I’d been used to. They gave me great care advice and were super knowledgeable about caring for body mods, plus didn’t try to force me to buy any extra products beyond letting me know what they had available. If you’re looking for a safe, clean, quick place to get a piercing in the York area, stop by- best piercing experience I’ve had in the area, and the people there are lovely.

I don't usually do reviews but for this I have to give my experience! I recently moved to PA and I had been working with the same tattoo artist for while back in my home state. Looking for a new tattoo artist is always nerve racking. You can look at their work, and read reviews but you just never really know. For me tattoos never look as good as they do in real life so pictures are no help to me. Reading reviews about GrindHouse put me at ease, but everyone has a different standard of what they consider to be good work and again you just never know. So going in I was nervous. But let me say I was not let down. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I worked with Kelly. I'm an artist...I paint...so art being a big part of who I am I was looking to get a paint brush tattoo. A very specific brush, one I use and one that I got while living in Germany. When I made my appointment I left the brush with Kelly so she could have a reference and yesterday she delivered! It looks like you could reach out,grab it off my arm and start painting. It's absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I'm honestly ecstatic with the outcome. Kelly was amazing, we chatted about life, our kids, she is a really awesome and warm person and her work is outstanding! The atmosphere of the whole place is really great. You can really see that everyone there loves what they are doing. Everything is very clean and neat. It was a great experience and I definitely will be coming back for my future work!

Emily did two tattoos for me and I love them so much that I went back for a third and took my son. I absolutely love how mine turned out and my son gave her a picture and she totally nailed it. Emily does phenomenal work. Everyone there is so nice and so friendly it’s just an overall fantastic place and I highly recommend them.

They tattoo very good and have a nice staff only thing I’d say is the pricing for smaller tattoos is ridiculous I got a tattoo on the chest that wasn’t big at all and got charged 85$ when the standard prices for those tattoo sizes are about 50-60 dollars so that’s the only thing that makes me not wanna ever go back prices isn’t fair
