My first time coming here to the Kits location and I love it I only live 20 mins away and the shop so freaking cute the way they have all there merchandise up I got 3 quote tattoos by Cruise and he so awesome super professional and friendly he made me feel incredibly calm one of the tattoos I got was on my ribs and I have tattoos before but was super nervous and he said we'll go somewhat slow just let me know if it's too painful and wasn't bad at all he made me feel at ease during the whole process and I love that they don't over charge you like other shops I def always coming to this locations and the girls in the front are so friendly as well.

I swung by about 2 months ago to buy a new curved barbell for my eyebrow. You are not able to go into the store right now unless you're getting a piercing or tattoo with an appointment so I unfortunately didnt get to see their entire selection of body jewelry. They did have quite a few curved barbells though, and after a couple months the one I bought still looks new. The first person I spoke to didnt seem totally enthused at first but they got much more friendly the next time I spoke to them so I'm sure it was due to COV-iD stress and the fact I didnt have an appointment. There was a bit of a wait to speak to the piercer but they were very friendly and helped me quickly without any problems. Except for that small wait it was a very smooth and pleasant visit.

Very pleased with my first ever laser tattoo appointment. Craig communicated very well, explaining everything he was doing and everything I should expect afterwards. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I felt comfortable and in good hands the entire time. I would recommend Craig to anyone who is looking to clean up any lines in their tattoos that are bugging them, as he can be impressively precise with the laser. Overall great experience!

My piercer (a blonde guy named Adam) put the wrong earrings in TWICE. Even though my companion corrected him, and which ones to use was written on the form. He was dismissive of his mistake, saying "I do these piercings all the time." It doesn't matter if you do them "all the time", a client is a client and needs to be treated as an individual. We put in an enormous amount of trust in our piercers, and for something like this to happen due to sheer inattention is unacceptable. I'm hesitant to even trust this shop for checkups on my (now very swollen and irritated) piercing. I've never had issues with piercings in the past, but my ear is now completely inflamed and throbbing from the trauma of the excessive tugging and replacing of the jewelry. I've been here with friends before, and staff were professional and thorough, so I'm quite disappointed by this experience. I completely regret coming here, and would never have paid for this service if I knew how badly it would turn out.

I picked this location due to the reviews stating it was a super clean friendly environment, I was not disappointed. Craig helped me with re-duing my lobe piercings, I have several holes since I was 16 and he did an amazing job matching and placing my earrings so they would sit and look better. He was by far the most professional technician I have had, very patient and genuine, highly recommend! My ears did not get infected at all, I was at least expecting some red swollen ears but it was like nothing even happened. Lauren (I hope thats her name) the receptionist was also very helpful and knowledgeable.

I was very impressed with Francis who pierced my 7 month old daughter’s ears, he was calm and quick! And he used a piercing tool that is disposable after every use which in my opinion is important in terms of hygiene! I highly recommend this place to parents with children.

Got my rook repierced, conch and helix done all in the same day. Had Francis who took out my first rook three months ago due to complications (had the first rook done by another piercer). Not to be dramatic or anything but I'd trust Francis with my life. Was super calm, told me when to breathe, and made great conversation. Got my nipple pierced here back in April. I’ve had a few previous not-so-good experiences, but this studio was great! There was no pain (I did not even feel a pinch) and no blood at all! Half a year later, my piercing looks healthy and feels great. The guy who pierced me was a professional and laughed with me about being nervous, which made me feel really relaxed (I’m suspecting this is why the piercing process went so smoothly). Definitely a recommendation from me.

I got my daith pierced with Megan who was beyond friendly and welcoming; it was comfortable, expedient, and I barely felt anything. Would highly recommend! :)

Friendly staff and good customer service but my piercer seemed kinda inexperienced. i got fitted with a ring way too small for my lip and the piercing was off centre. she seemed to think it was too small too but i guess didn't want the hassle of refitting me so she reassured me that it'd be fine once the swelling went down, and rushed me out. the ring popped right out within an hour. Went back in and talked to another piercer who offered me a free repiercing but i now have to wait 6 weeks to get it done.

Popped in a couple of weeks ago just to see if anyone would be willing to change my daith jewelry. The girl who greeted us (I didn’t catch her name, unfortunately) was friendly without being pushy, and when I asked if anyone could do the earring change she found someone and I was in a room in under a minute despite the shop seeming fairly busy. Meghan did the jewelry change and she was so friendly and FAST and I genuinely did not feel a thing when normally that piercing hurts a lot for me to have the jewelry changed. I would 100% go back to have a piercing done with her! Bonus: the shop is full of lots of other cute stuff to buy!

I wish I could give you less than 1 star. Worst experience and waste of 6 months waiting for a tattoo that never happened. All around bad experience. Bad reception , bad management and the artist was unprofessional, a hassle and unpleasant. I live across the lower mainland and chose this location and artist out of good faith and it was such a disappointment. I don't often write poor reviews, but this really had me upset. I would NOT recommend adrenaline, they may have a convenient location, but its not worth your time and money! ♡

Yesterday was my Birthday and my Fiance booked us 2 matching tattoos. One of a Penny in dedication to our first new born daughter named Penny and one of matching lightsabers for our love of Star wars (just in time for May the 4). We started our experience when we walked into the shop where we were warmed welcomed by the receptionists. They were high energy, fun and charismatic. All the same experience I've had from every other tattoo I've got done here before. As we were filling out our waiver they mentioned our artist was busy and for us to come back. We had no issues with that, good work is worth the wait! As we came back to the familiar warm energy the shop usually has, the receptionist then prompted us to go over designs with our artist, Paul. At this point our experience went down hill. We were greeted by a man with a flat expression, crossed arms leaning up against the printer. He puts a paper infront of us showing us what the design would look like. Instead of what was described through our consultation as a penny the size of a Quarter maybe a Twoonie size we were presented with something the size of a hockey puck. At this point we thought it was just miscommunication. We mentioned we wanted something smaller for it is supposed to be tattooed on our wrist. Without explaination he mentioned it's impossible. We were confused, why was it impossible? Surely something of this little detail could be tattooed smaller? He mentioned the writing couldn't be scaled smaller. Now I'm not an artist so maybe there was truth behind that but I feel like I've seen smaller writing on other people's ink before. Nonetheless we moved forward happily and agreed to not do the Penny tattoo. We then mentioned we wanted Lightsaber tattoos on our wrist. We sent in many images to their email some of the lightsabers with great detail for references and some of tattooes for size and scaling. This is where our experience went downhill to terrible. After mentioning we didn't want the Penny tattoo Paul looked disinterested with anything else we were showing him. He spoke with a condescending tone looking at all the images saying "it's impossible" or "the tattoo needs to be bigger". Even though the images we showed him were of other tattoos with almost exact designs and scale. We felt like he was a broken record just repeating the same thing. "This can't be done" or "it's impossible". All we wanted to know was what IS possible or what CAN be done. We even asked him to draw a mock up of what size CAN be done so we can visualize our tattoo since we're easy going and willing to be flexible with our design. With hesitation he mentions "I can't do that because you can take my drawing and go somewhere else". I was kind of insulted, not only because I have my deposit already with Adrenaline and I've already had most of my tattoos done by Adrenaline but how else is someone suppose to visualize and have blind trust with permanent ink to an artist when that said artist doesn't even have trust in you with his mock up. This is my Birthday I don't plan on wasting my time by sitting in a shop to get a mock up drawing, then to take that drawing to another artist where they ethically won't use it and forfeit my deposit. I obviously wanted to get my tattoo done but no matter how I structure my want for this tattoo it was constantly met with a condescending "it can't be done" and no follow up with what can be done. I'm just a firm believer that if a business want's to earn your business they will find solutions to your questions and concerns. Especially when all small businesses are hurting during this pandemic I felt weird that this artist and Adrenaline did not try to earn my business. In fact after 11 years of loyalty this left me feeling empty, sad and my time wasted. I was in that shop at 1pm and didn't leave until 3pm. They had 2 hours of time to convert us into happy customers yet the only take away i have is Paul says it's impossible with no solutions. I'd recommend Adrenaline but would never recommend Paul Peddie.

Have gotten four different piercings here through the years, each with a different person and all of them have been amazing! Friendly, funny, professional, made sure I was comfortable the whole time and informed me of what they were doing each step of the way. Reasonable prices and great follow up - I've lost the ball screws on some of my piercings and they'll replace it for free/change it to make sure it doesn't happen again. Definitely would recommend coming here.

I walked in for a nose piercing. From the moment I walked I was greeted with a friendly “hello. How may I help you?” To getting in th see the piercer Micheal within two minutes after my intake sheet was completed. Michael is so nice, professional and smiling. Very genuine guy. I barely felt the piercing and it was done in less than a minute while he followed sterile technique. I am a registered nurse so I look for that! Thanks Micheal and staff for the lovely experience. I’ll be sure to send others there!

Very clean, very professional and very, very talented. The staff also observe proper COVID protocols. After having taken a 3-year break from getting 'fresh ink' (the artist with whom I had been collaborating with having moved away) I made an appointment for a consultation at Adrenaline. They took the time and effort to select the artist who was best-suited to the style of work that I had chosen, and an initial meeting showed that we would work well together - Cruise listened to my 'needs' & I in turn heeded his advice as to placement and certain aspects of the design that I had drawn. (I appreciated this, as in my long search for a tattoo artist I had met too many Prima Donnas who wouldn't agree to the design as presented and insisted on doing it THEIR way - " I am the ARTIST!" - " Yeah, well I am the 'canvas' and also the 'exchequer', and now I'm headed out the door! ") Come the day of my appointment I recieved and completed the waiver form by email - a nice touch - and we got to it. rather than describe the rest of the session I'll sum up by saying that I was very impressed throughout my session, and I look forward to my next visit.

Edit June 4th: I find that after going through the whole process of being pierced, and resizing a couple of months later, I have to change my review. And it’s not down to the quality of the piercing, but rather the communication. Josh had given me his Instagram account to PM him on because he bounces around from store to store so it’s easier to ask him directly where he is going to be, and I used it to both book with him and then ask him a couple of questions about my piercing because it wouldn’t have made sense to email the store about it as he had pierced me directly. And he just left me on read twice, and then tried to save face a little bit in person regarding the first time he didn’t reply when I got resized by saying that he never replied to anyone (even though he had previously, and also if he doesn’t reply to anyone why gives the Instagram account in the first place?). I am new to being pierced; my last piercing was 30 years ago as a kid and it was just my ear lobes, so I had questions about what push pin means, what the different gauges were in my cartilage piercings, how I would get new earrings going forward and how that would work; the point is I really needed a piercer I could communicate with and Josh had led me to believe he was that. I think I was a pretty good customer. I tipped well and I didn’t over communicate nor was a hassle to deal with. And it’s just been frustrating. And in my opinion unnecessary. Communicating with the store directly has been a mixed bag. In store the people have been lovely, but I spoke to a woman a couple of times on the phone trying to get the name of my piercer after the fact because at the time I couldn’t remember, and it really felt like it was such a massive inconvenience that I had called to ask a question. It took calling a different location for adrenaline to actually get someone to check the roster so I could find the name of the piercer who had been at the store in Kits on that day, and that woman was absolutely lovely. So, as I said, mixed bag. Honestly at this stage, when it comes to being pierced, I wouldn’t recommend the Kits location. Being pierced is an intimate situation, and it can be scary if you don’t know the lingo and you don’t understand the whole situation and you need somebody to explain things to you. And if someone treats you as though you’re just simply tiresome because you’re not part of the piercing world and need someone to explain it to you like you’re five, it’s just horrible really. Customer service and communication cost so little, and it’s a damn shame that apparently it was outside both Josh’s and that unnamed woman on the phone’s budget. Old Review: I had a piercing appointment with Josh (usually works at Sleight Of Hand) today, and the experience was really great. I showed up having forgotten my ID as well as having forgotten to fill out the waiver properly, and they couldn’t have been more lovely about it. Everything was really clean, professional, and friendly. I was really at ease and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. ☺️ Edit: Went on to be pierced several times more by him.

I came here last week for a snug piercing. I came in 25 minutes before closing and the staff accommodated me well! I am so happy with the piercing and I have returned twice to get jewelry. I just went in to get the second hole in my ear re-pierced and they were the coolest. Did it in the exact same spot as before (as I requested), were ridiculously nice and very professional. I have a phobia of needles (I know I am a grown adult) and my piercer handled it like a boss. Kept asking me if I was ok, let me sit for as long as I needed afterward and gave me a lollipop to get my sugar back up. And my ears look awesome! Thank you thank you!!!

I never write reviews but after the exceptional service at Adrenaline I feel like I have to! Everyone working there was super welcoming as soon as I entered so I was already happy. Then I had a laser tattoo removal session with Craig and would give 10 stars if I could. He is so friendly, professional, and informative. He took the time to explain all of the pertinent laser tattoo removal information to me. I had three tattoo removal sessions at a different establishment already and honestly the difference between the two experiences is night and day. I would highly recommend Craig!

I recommend adrenaline as they did all my other tats and many piercings. However, Paul did a really bad tattoo on me. I went to Adrenaline in Kits and saw Paul. I went for a consultation and he agreed to tattoo my wrist and inner ear. He made the outline of the hearts very jagged and way too thick in some parts. The colour is uneven too. He said he would add an icy blue to the white ink to preserve it and never did. My piece looks flat, janky and not like the candies he said he could do. This was very sentimental and is ruined. He never looked at my ear during the consult. The day of he refused to tattoo my inner ear saying the shape wasn't right and refused to do a different design. He wrapped it and rushed me out before I got a good look because a walk in had come. I heard her walk up and book for after me when I was waiting outside. He said he'd forgotten he had another appointment but that wasn't true. When I sent in a pic the next day, Adrenaline offered to fix it for free right away with another artist at either location. The shop was really kind and wanted to rectify it immediately. I think this needs to be covered. It won't look how I want and I hate it. I do believe Adrenaline will pay an artist to cover it even if it's a bit more than the original hour. They've always been amazing with any piercing or tattoo I've gotten there and I have a bunch. I recommend Adrenaline and don't think Paul's work on this piece is representative of this tattoo shop. I'm waiting on a consult with Kass but I know she is worth the wait. She's tattooed me before. As she doesn't usually do colour anymore it might be fixed by someone else as a cover up but I think it will work out okay.

She did not seem interested at all in tattooing me and basically rushed through the consultation to get out the door to wherever she was going. For me personally I don't want to be tattooed by someone that doesn't care enough about her clients to make them feel welcome and comfortable upon meeting them. Her overall "I don't care" attitude left me feeling super uneasy about having her tattoo me which was ultimately the reason I did not book with her besides the fact that she had only 2 openings over the next 6 months which did not work for me. Everyone else at the shop seemed friendly so I'm not sure if she was just having an off day, but either way good customer service brings people back and I can't say that I'll be going back here after the experience I had.

Went in for a simple tattoo walk in, the artist was very condescending and rude. The artist did not seem willing to work with us at all. When I said I was nervous he didn’t make us feel comfortable whatsoever. Overall negative experience. Ps receptionist (I think that’s what she was) was lovely

Five stars for the incredibly kind and accommodating artists who made the overall experience great. Thank you for your fabulous service, and the lovely tattoo that I got! That being said, the woman who was working reception when we walked in was incredibly rude right off the bat. Usually I wouldn’t write a review because you never know what somebody has going on, I understand that we are all human, but this attitude that we were greeted with was truly insulting. We would have walked out if the artists weren’t so dang lovely. I hate leaving negative reviews but oh man, someone needs to be made aware of this persons appalling behaviour because it really reflects poorly on the business. I’m not sure of the persons name but she was doing the reception at the time, wearing glasses.

I hardly ever write reviews but I had such a good experience that I felt the need! First of all I showed up thinking it was my scheduled appointment but I had made an oversight when booking and apparently didn't read my confirmation email clearly and they didn't make me feel in any way bad about that! Then thankfully they were able to accommodate me anyway and the whole process was great and super efficient. Very friendly store front staff and the piercer (didn't think to ask their name) was great. Made sure I was comfortable and asked if I had any questions and just had a great chill vibe that made me very relaxed. And the procedure itself for a newbie like me was not what I was expecting and the pain level was a 1/10. So great! Very happy and I'll be back when masks are off to get my nose done!

I decided to walk into Adrenaline spontaneously to finally get my virgin ear lobes pierced and my first time experience was awesome. I have to thank the wonderful UK man, whose name I didn't get but he had glasses and a beard, as he convinced me to get them pierced since I was already in the studio (I was a little hesitant). But I have to say thanks to him and to Meghan, my piercer, who were both amazingly helpful in making sure I got the right hardware for my thick ol' ear lobes (they have never been assessed so thoroughly by 2 people). I even got a discount on my hardware because I wanted studs, however, due to my lobes I had to go with the bar to make sure they fit properly and no injury or issues would occur. The process was great as well, Meghan was really kind and explained the process to me, very clean and sterile in technique. All in all, both individuals were so attentive and amazing in my first experience getting a piercing! Probably going to get a second one in the future here as well.

Friendly staff, very helpful and all around good service. Just a little disappointed that a piercing gun was used as I didn't expect this from a piercing parlor... Would be 4 stars had it been explained that they would use a piercing gun vs traditional method. All in all, the person piercing my lobes did a great job positioning the piercings. Will still come back for other types of piercings that do not use the gun.

I've had the pleasure of working with Craig to remove a medium to large tattoo on my body and the results are incredible. In three treatments, more than 3/4 of the tattoo is gone, which is way faster than we both expected. Obviously I'm impressed with the results, but my 5 stars is for Craig himself who has consistently given me the best customer service I've ever had. Not just at Adrenaline, not just in a tattoo shop, but anywhere ever. He is polite, funny, gives 100% attention and is meticulous. He is respectful to my body and my space, communicates clearly about everything he's doing and why he's doing it, and makes a painful procedure fun and easy. For real, this man is the best, and I wish I could steal him for my business. Trust me, look at his work against anyone else and try find a better laser person in the lower mainland. If you want to remove a tattoo, only see Craig.

All of the piercings I have on me were all from this store. Which means I LOVE the place and services. And adding that dab of edginess with my look through their piercings. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. My review was going to be a 5/5, HOWEVER dropped a star because of one particular staff member who kept the same kinda off putting attitude whenever she is present for her shifts and is the one receiving me at the door. The one with the ‘emo?’ Stylised hair, shaved on the sides I think and she comes off passive aggressive in tone. Eventually through my visits, I avoid asking her anything other than responding to the service I am walking into because she clearly seems impatient to talk to nor clear any misunderstandings I have. Since this has been a consistent thing with this employee, I bring any concerns to the person working on me instead. (And they were so helpful and enthusiastic in their advice and tips. Which is where I award the 4 stars) Especially Craig* and several of the guys and gals (Sorry! forgot most their names) who pierced me or simply answered my questions in regards to the services. In the end I want my money’s worth, be it in the form of customer interaction to the provision of service. So, Amazing work and customer service from y’all’s. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for the next piercing and when the time is right maybe an eventual tattoo.

While vacationing in BC, I came across this shop while having a beach day in Kitsilano. I walked in without an appointment to get a dainty sun tattoo on my ankle and it turned out wonderful. I got in 1 hour later so got to adventure around the shops along the street while waiting. The artist, Paul, was very professional and quick. The other employees I saw were very nice and knowledgeable as well. I'd for sure recommend here for anything tattoo/piercing related!

Leni at front counter was so informative and accommodated us even with our late arrival, and our piercer Mike was super inviting, well learned in his job and quick to do the piercing too!
