Honestly the most comfortable and nearly pain free tattoo experience of my life! I saw Evan MacKinnon this past Saturday at Tell Tale and not only was it an extremely comfortable experience, but I was impressed with the overall processes that TT is following during Covid. The staff are friendly, funny and welcoming. Unlike other shops in the area which I have frequented, there is ZERO ego at Tell Tale! The artists are all talented, kind and open. The shop is basically an art gallery. You now have a client for life! Mo at the front desk is also a huge selling factor since she is so friendly and funny/always checks in to see how you're doing. Though I appreciate there measures put in place during the covid-19 pandemic I still am disappointed that they were unable to accommodate my service dog in the tattooing area. I’m unsure if it was a miscommunication overall but the owner seemed defensive after I attempted to give them constructive criticism about accessibility. Considering that this was the only tattoo studio I contacted that seemed to have problems regarding my service dog during this time, I was just overall disappointed with my experience.

Despite there comment, I was a client at this location. Well to be frank, they did not get a chance for me to be a client because I left after no consultation. What I mean is they did not consult me on the tattoo. The tattoo artist barely spoke with me and created artwork that worked for her. I would highly recommend not going to this place. As something that will be on my body forever, I want to have as much consultation as I need. I want the tattoo exactly how I want. I do not think that is unreasonable to ask and it is dishonest to reply to this review as if nothing happened. Save your time and money and go to a tattoo place that will listen to you. There are a bunch of amazing places in downtown Toronto and Streetsville, Mississauga.

Just had some cosmetic tattooing done by Kerry. She lined and filled in my lips to correct some missing pigment on my cupid's bow. She was not only incredibly professional but very personable as well. She explained each step of the process to me in detail. She went out of her way to keep me as comfortable as possible during the procedure and i couldn't be happier with the results. She was incredibly thorough and very detail oriented. Permanent Makeup doesn't seem so scary now - I cant wait to have some eyebrow microblading done next!

I'd been waiting to get my sleeves done by the right tattooist. I wanted Japanese artwork and few tattooists seemed to do it well or properly. Eventually, I saw someone with a Japanese artwork tattoo I liked. I asked him who his tattooist was, and booked an appointment to see Shane, at Tell-Tale Heart Tattoo. Thirty sits later, I'm still getting compliments on my sleeves and have sent many people to the shop. The shop staff are friendly, fun and professional. As a nurse, I am happy to report that the staff use only new needles and proper sterile technique and universal precautions. I 100% recommend this shop to anyone.
