I was very disappointed with my experience at Mayflower Mall Head Shoppe. I received a dry hair cut (trim). No shampooing ...no product...no style. I will NEVER recommend. Very very disappointed!!!! Will never return nor would I recommend........I should have refused to pay but I was so in shock!!!

i went in and i just wanted my hair thinned out and 0.5 inches off not a lot she curled my hair and when i got home later that night i straightened it and saw how un even and how she cut some of my hair up to my ears my hair is horrendous and i am currently crying right now because i can’t go out looking like this not to mention my hair is shorter then i asked and it’s not even all thinned out my hair is terrible some spots go up to my ears some go up to my nose and some go to my chin and others go to my shoulders i never want to go there again what a terrible spot

I took my 3 yr old boy in for a hair cut and they said if he keeps moving around they cannot do the haircut, he kept moving around and they still cut his hair and made a mess of it and threathened us with security. We still had to pay for the hair cut and he had spots all over his head. THE WORST HAIR CUT THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, IF THEY COULDNT CUT HIS HAIR BECAUSE HE KEPT MOVING, THAN WHY DID THEY STILL CUT AND RUIN IT THAN CHARGE US A FEE TO RUIN HIS HAIR !

Booked an appointment Friday morning for Saturday after work, when I arrived they didn't have my booking. To add insult to injury I was asked if I wanted to rebook. Why? So I could show up again and they wouldn't have my booking? Ridiculous.

The last two times I went, I left nearly in tears from how badly my hair was messed up. I got refunded my money, but it took a long time to grow out the cut. I have since then had friends go who were also very disappointed with their outcome. Dye jobs that had to be fixed, roots bleached with missed spots around the hair line.. this salon is by far the worst one in the entire area. Do not even attempt.

Terrible service. No consistency in hair dressers. Destroyed and fried my hair and would not fix it and i did not return. All dolled up is my recommendation. I've been going there for 3 years and its always fabulous. I see Lisa there and she's amazing!!

Asked the lady for “the same style but shorter”. Lady shaves my whole head, which I asked her not too. I had an appointment for 12:30, never got in till 1. Over the top crew. Horrible

I walked in and asked if they took walk ins. Was told no, fully booked. Only 1 lady in a chair and 2 stylists. Walked around half the mall, walked by again, same lady in the chair and 1 stylist on the phone. Would have taken 5 minutes to shave my head. Oh well!!

Received a great haircut from Stylist Amanda. She fixed a very bad cut from another barbershop. She listened carefully to what I wanted and worked quickly. Very friendly place and other staff are great too. Plus, I felt comfortable with the way they handle the pandemic concerns.

Due to Covid 19 Policy - I was unable to sit with my 5 year old daughter while she got her hair styled for Photos. I live about 3 hours away, so I booked my appointment in advance over the phone. The conversation was short, and I felt it was rushed. No instructions or any information was given in advance. When I showed up at my appointment, the Stylist was waiting behind the cage barrier with it open a bit to take my child in back. That's what I realized I was unable to sit with her and give my ideas of what I wanted done. After asking a few questions and feeling furstrated as to why I was not told this over the phone, I decided to step aside and find a salon in the Sydney area that would allow me to sit with my daughter, as we had photos scheduled for 6pm. After my first phone call, I was able to find a salon close by, that could take me in right away and allowed me to sit with my child and discussed my idea as to what we were wanting done. I politely advised the receptionist at the Head Shoppe that we were able to find a place where I was able to sit with my daughter, and that we will no longer need an appointment.
