I got a large, beautiful, pin up tattoo from Miss Amy and her work is phenomenal. The colours pop and lines are perfect. Nothing out of place. Clearly a talented artist. Pricing is fair for the quality of work they provide and the staff was courteous and answered all my questions. Great atmosphere. I was treated well and I highly recommend every artist. All their work is exceptional.

I have been to the Twisted Doll on Four separate occasions, 3 times for piercings and once for a tattoo, for myself and friends. Each time was worse than the last. My tattoo was faded in appearance and came out looking more like female genitalia than the apple I asked for. This almost felt intentional as the shop was closing soon and I heard a number of snide comments from the employees about mine and my friends' presence there. The last time was to inquire about getting my three year old's ears pierced and the woman told me she had no desire to hurt a child. *In my culture and background, most daughters get their ears pierced in infancy. She continued to make hudgemental comments and it was a truly horrifying and upsetting experience. All she had to do was say that it was against shop policy. Instead she chose to make assumptions and hurtful accusations. As far as professional goes, it is non existent. And as far as cleanliness goes, the shop has been average at best, most likely because I have never seen it busy.

I went there to inquire about an infection in my nose peircing that was done Jan 28th at another location. She took the nose ring out said it was bent too much made it curve more and then attempted 3 times to put it back in. When I went to her it was red and slightly swollen. When I left her shop I was bleeding, super sore, my piercing was torn in 3 places. She was rough with me. Never apologized and knew she was hurting me. It hurt worse when she was manhandling me than when I got the piercing done in the first place. Her bedside manner was non existent. Not impressed and will not come back. I'm 2 hours after and my nose hurts so bad.

Got my nose pierced by Ashley and was very satisfied. Love the location- easy to find and park. Staff were friendly and welcoming and also very informative. I didn't love the interior look of Ashley's room, it appeared to also be the staff lounge which seems kind of odd but the part that Ashley worked from was neat! Great information provided about aftercare, and answered all of my questions! Thanks Ashley!

I had the worst pain of my life because of them! So I went to twisted doll to get my 6th piercing because my usual shop was closed for a while, which is where I got all my other piercings and had no problems what so ever and barely had pain getting them done. Anyways, as she pierced my ear she tugged, pulled and rushed and I've never felt such pain. The piercing was my upper conch. The aftermath was swelling and a even more pain. So I went to another shop to switch my piercing to a longer bar hoping it'll make the swelling go down. only to realise IT WAS NOT POSTON RIGHT! the piercer told us to take pictures so I could see it and to take it put right away and that that's not even a spot to be pierced. I then seen that the piercing was on such and angle the back of the earing was half in my ear (the flat back part). I love piercings and this has now ruined it for me.

Amazing staff here I have been coming here for a few years now and I feel like I’m at home when getting worked on by Glen, Amy and Lisa, I’ve also had a piercing done by Ashley and it was a great experience. Even the receptionist Chad is great he’s funny and loves to talk. The whole staff here is amazing I’ll never go elsewhere for tattoos or piercings this is where I’ve decided to spend my money! Glens work is just amazing as with Amy and Lisa but I have chosen Glen to be my artist!

Had a piercing done. I wish I had listened to the reviews of how rude Ashley is. The shop is dingy, precious little selection for piercings. Her technique is ok, but her attitude makes it a disappointing experience. She is almost condescending in her tone....when she actually does speak. I will def take my time and shop around for someone who actually enjoys their profession.

This is the 3rd time I've been to this shop and they've been increasingly rude to me each time. My nose stud fell out last week and Zai (a kiosk in the mall) closed and hasn't reopened yet so I decided to try out twisted doll. I bought a very pretty stud and the receptionist told me the piercer could put it in for me because she needed to bend it. When I entered the shop, the piercing felt like it was healed and there was no irritation but when I left I was bleeding and in more pain than when I was first pierced. Every time I walk in, they rush through everything and when piercings are done they don't explain to you how to clean them. I'm very disappointed in this shop, especially since it's one of the only ones left in Sudbury. * EDIT: since my last visit, my friend came here to get an outer conch piercing last Thursday. Fast forward to today, we decide to go to red dragon for them to check out this piercing because it was causing her a lot of pain. Right away, the piercer told my friend she should take out the piercing because the placement was so badly done that it would never heal and continue to cause her a lot of pain. Once it was out, she was left with a huge hole, an obvious infection and it was blue all around it. We immediately went back to twisted doll to show her that she had messed up the piercing and she admitted that she could have moved the placement before piercing it but blamed my friend for asking for it. If she knew it was a bad idea, wouldn't any good piercer advise against it? After a while, she offered to repierce it or a refund and obviously we took the refund because we didn't want to chance that happening again. While waiting for it, we were stared down by who I think is the receptionist and she was rude to us even when we first walked in. I DO NOT recommend this place for piercings. Not only did the piercer cause my friend a lot of pain, but she gave her the wrong piercing! (Look up faux rook, that's what she was given instead of the conch, they should only be done by an experienced piercer and clearly this piercer isn't). I will definitely not be returning.

Had a walk-in smiley piercing done a couple weeks ago. As soon as I walked in I felt like an inconvenience to the piercer even though she said they take walk-ins. The placement of my piercing was crooked because she didn't mark it and just went at it free hand with absolutely no warning. I wasn't given a sheet about aftercare even though it was in the contract I signed that I would be. So now it's 2 weeks later and my piercing is even more crooked and uncentered because its migrated and I'm just really not pleased with the whole experience. I've been having piercings done for half my life so I'm no stranger to shops but I would never go back to Twisted Doll
