Went there to get a piercing...there's nothing stated that they finish doing piercings at 6 on their site nor is it stated if you call. It was 2 mins after 6 went in asked if my boyfriend and I can get it done and it was a flat out no. It was empty in there so I don't get why our piercings couldn't be done. Went to another place and it was a way better experience!

The decor and vibe of Punkass is really cool! The art work on the walls is awesome. The staff is so friendly and know how to make someone comfortable. Love that they joke around! Myself and a friend went to get our noses pierced and Misty was fantastic! She listened to my concerns from my previous nose piercing, joked and made me laugh so I was more at ease. She was also thoughtful when she gave me mini round bandaids to protect my piercing when I slept. Artists & clients were cool when I peeked at a tattoo being done. The shop was clean, the setting had a positive vibe and when I said the bathroom was out of TP, staff scrambled to get it replenished! It was recommended to me by my epic brother-in-law and I would recommend it for sure. Be sure to say to Misty, she ROCKS! My nose is healing beautifully this time! Thanks so much Misty!!

I went there because I couldnt put my nose stud back in my nose after it came out. Even though I didnt pierce from them the girl who works there named Misty, she was extremely nice and helpful. She took her time and put it back in for me at no cost. She was sincere in the way she did it. It was big thing for me because I had a very hard time. Plus their pricing is also very affordable-$30 for nose all inclusive and on saturdays its only 15$ which is sooo much less than where I did from downtown. Highly recommend for nose piercings.

Want a amazing tattoo? A safe and sexy piercing? GO TO PUNKASS!! I first went to punkass to have a memorial tattoo done ( ashes of the deceased were mixed into the ink) and my experience was very impressive. Being a memorial tatt the staff (particularly my artist Lance) understood my mindset and were very respectful of the loss behind the art. I now have had 5 tattoos done at punkass in the past 9 months and I will NEVER go anywhere else. The studio is impeccably clean, all brand new tools and the sterility and maintenance of reusable equipment is above standard.The Punkass Crew are such wickedly cool people and extremely talented at their craft, they are all very professional and dedicated, focused solely on giving the customer exactly what they want. Of all my tattoos (I have 10 for now) the 5 I got @ Punkass are definitely the best...the best artwork, the best price, the best experience. If you want the absolute best....GO TO PUNKASS!!!

Im not really covered in tattoos by any means, just my second one, im glad i chose them. hygiene is excellent, they will open needles and show you that it is all new equipment. also, got an explanation of how they even drop ink into the containers, and not touch the container to the small bottles, ensuring safety again,,in short,,,this place is clean. I dealt with mason there, he worked with my idea, and made some suggestions and they turned out fantastic. they are a very relaxed atmosphere, and wont rip you off. although price should not be your concern when getting a good job, the detail of my tattoo and the price was spectacular, go in book an appointment, and you wont have problems. bunch of young artists, who have a shop together. you will get a professional work environment and honestly, it felt like a friend was doing my tattoo as I was on the table. Unlike a lot of places which will give you attitude and have a snobby feel to their shop. and trust me,I never went into other shops with any attitude. all in all an excellent place, with a great attitude but still maintaining a real tattoo shop feel to the place, not sure how I can explain that. just a good gut feeling when i walked into the place and when I got my tattoo

I went to Psych with my concept idea for a half sleeve, he made it something beyond my wildest dreams! The amount of detail he put into the piece was astronomical. He listened to everything I said about the piece, if I wanted something fixed he would fix it no questions asked! It really was a collaboration vs a one sided deal which was amazing. When it came time to get my actual tattoo finished he did such an amazing job ensureing I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. We chatted for a while before starting so he really got to know me and vice versa. I was in his chair for an entire 8 hour day and it just flew by because not only is he an amazing artist but also just genuinely good company to have around! Everyone else in the shop was also amazing! Everyone makes you feel so welcome and right at home! 10/10 would recommend this shop to everyone and their mother! Lance did both my neck and face tattoo. I could tell that this place is really passionate about the art of tattooing as opposed to just being about money, as Lance addressed some major concerns he had about the design I had chosen for my neck. He spent about 20 minutes ensuring that he could curate something that was as close to my original design as possible all while reassuring me that it would come out looking perfect and it did!! I was booked to get another piece done by lance, but covid SUCKS. I will be rescheduling as soon as all over this is over ????

I went today to get a tattoo from their apprentice Teresa. I had such a great experience! All the staff were welcoming and fun. The shop was clean and organized. I am very happy with my tattoo and the amount of work Teresa put into it to make sure it was done well. She has very good mentors who were there to help her if she needed it. This place has everything, except for the piercer! Where is she on most days man? I'm tired of booking for the next day only for her to be away the next day so I can have it done the day after that. Great prices, but consider yourself lucky if you call in and they say that the piercer is actually in the shop today. Majority of times that I've called, she's absent! I just want a piercing man :(

Was recommended by my sister for the lead artist that worked there, Misty. They assigned me their apprentice Pete who completely butchered my first tat (a basic triforce from Zelda smaller than 1x1) and tried to pass it off as "just my skin" totally ridiculous! For the $100 I paid for an $80 tat, I expected phenomenal art. What I got was a tat I'll have to *PAY EXTRA* to touch up for the rest of my life...

I’ve come to this place once for a nose piercing and it was a good experience and it’s now healed. ???????? But for the past couple of weeks I’ve been wanting to bring my sister here for her nose piercing and these guys have just started being unprofessional. Every time I call to make inquires about the piercing, the piercer is either not in, or sick. They’ve even told me to call back in half an hour because the piercer “stepped out,” and of course when I call back, no one picks up. I’m tired of giving these guys chances. I might as well go give my money to a more professional piercing shop that is consistent with their words. ????????‍♀️

Hands down the worst tattoo experience and finished product I have ever received. My friend and I wanted to get matching tattoos on our forearms to signify friendship, and my friend made the appointment 2 weeks in advance. We were looking forward to the experience, as most of the reviews online were very positive. Our appointment was booked for 6:30 pm, and my friend was called by an employee of the shop earlier on in the day for us to come at 6:00 pm if we preferred, as there had been a cancellation. When we arrived at the shop, we were greeted with extreme confusion and disorganization. No one working there had any idea we were even coming for tattoos, nothing was recorded on their calendar, and no one seemed to know about the call made to my friend earlier on in the day instructing us to come early. In hindsight, both my friend and I should have taken this as an indication of the state of the shop and how business was conducted, and we should have immediately left...unfortunately we did not. Our tattoo “artist” ensured us that he had been tatttoing for 8 years, and both my friend and I were comforted by that initially. Upon following all post tattoo care instructions, I can firmly say that BOTH of us are more than unhappy with the finished product. Both pieces exhibit extremely poor line work and crooked and uneven portions. These were extremely simple and small pieces, that I would have even expected an apprentice to execute with success. Both my friend and I have many tattoos, so are familiar and adhere to aftercare instructions, and we were both terribly disappointed with the finished product. We are very aware that most tattoos need a touch up, but the finished product is well beyond that. Needless to say, we will not be going back for the free touch up offered to us upon completion of the tattoos, and will be going to a professional artist to have them fixed. Our warning is, please do your research before even getting the smallest or most simple of tattoos, because even those can end in pieces you will need to get fixed or covered. And looking back, my friend and I both thought it was odd that the shop didn’t even get us to fill out a waiver or any personal information, which I’m sure is a violation of heath and safety codes. Do not recommend.

I am late on posting a review but thats only because I found out that my previous piercing that never healed and caused a scar was because of the lady that did my nose piercing. I got my nose pierced here but the lady that did it was probably just new and not experienced enough. While piercing she did not put enough pressure and the stud only went in half way through and then she pushed it further down which ruined the angle. I suffered for a year with that piercing and then finally took it off. My nose bled alot too. Worst place.

Honestly don’t waste your time. I didn’t believe the reviews that said the piercer doesn’t show up, it’s true she doesn’t. They lie and tell you some excuse as to why the piercer isn’t in. I firstly went and got my navel pierced and it was crooked, I went back and she literally repierced it the same day. It felt very rushed and the second time it’s also slightly crooked. You ask her a simple question and she says I’ve been piercing for 30 years, in other words don’t question her. It was super painful the second time and I wouldn’t recommend anyone wasting their time there. It sucks but there’s no way I’m re piercing it.

Terrible facility, the employers have poor attitudes as well as unprofessional behavior. The color scheme and furniture is nauseating, gives me a headache. They are extremely disorganized, and cannot properly schedule appointments. The professional piercer is never even in the shop, anytime I set up an appointment the response I get is that she has stepped out, or said, or absent, pretty odd that this occurrence is regularly as I've tried multiple times to set up an appointment and even done a few walk-ins. The artists lack talent and individuality, very amateur work. The owner of the business is never present. I've never been so disappointed in a tattoo in my life, it was a very simple and small piece, almost a silhouette basically and it was horribly done the lines were crooked, and I'm not confident in the cleanliness or hygiene of the tools that were used. I would highly recommend against visiting this place, mind you it is also located in a dark, cold, basement it is a wonder they get any business at all.

Not a well known shop, hidden in a small plaza along Kingston road. This shop really is hit or miss, i have had some horrible work done here where i needed to go to other shops to completely cover up their mistakes, where at the same time i have also gotten pieces that ended up being my absolute favorites with the most meaning.
