I want to start by saying it's been a while since I have been there so maybe things have changed. However during my visit I was not comfortable at all; the first time I went in for a tattoo the artist was rushing me and I felt I had to just make a decision and get it over with asap. I ended up not liking the design at all. I tried going to another artist the second time and after a while I told the artist I was done for the day because it was starting to hurt (I get it, it's a tattoo, it's suppose to hurt) the artist handled it very poorly and made me feel so bad about needing to stop. Saying things like: I'm almost done -- really you wanna stop because it hurts?? I am paying you to do this and if I want to stop halfway through then you stop. I'm going to be paying for a whole session even if I come back for 20mins to get it finished so I really don't see the problem.

This is the only shop I'll ever go to. I have the privilege of wearing both Steve and Dax's artwork for the rest of my life. The tattoos on my body are therapeutic and a daily reminder of my struggles and triumphs. I feel centered as soon as the needle strikes the skin, it's like a meditation. I had only ever heard good things about ink addiction, and was super excited to get some work done here! I had my tattoo started in May, and was very happy with the work! (Still am, what's done is beautiful) First session was linework and shading, and next session would be finishing/colour, and I was to book a follow up appointment at a later date. About 2 and a half months later I see on Instagram that my artist had moved away to England. I wasn't notified by the shop, nor the artist at the time of my tattoo or before he was leaving so I could get it finished. I understand I didnt have an appointment booked, but a heads up that he was leaving would have been nice. After seeing he moved, I tried calling multiple times to figure out my options and left a message, but months later I have yet to hear back. Very unfortunate as like I said the work is great, but I don't feel like I was very valued as a customer. I won't be back, cause if it's this much hassle to get a tattoo finished I can only imagine what booking a touch up would be like if I needed one. Moral of the story, great artists but get your tattoo done all at once and maybe prebook a touch up while you're there. ????‍♀️

The worst experience that I ever had. I email about if they have any bookings available for tattoos. They ask me where i want to get the tattoo on, I have been waiting for their reply, they did not even said whether they have any bookings available or not. I have not even visited there shop but I can make an imagination how they might treat their customers. It was really disrespectful for me, they could have even said that they do not have any bookings available.

Staff is super friendly and doesn't make you feel awkward or scared about getting a tattoo, you feel comfortable and prepared. My second time going there and it was a good experience both times. Clean shop, knowledgeable staff and esthetically nice. Have that small shop vibe that makes you feel important and like one of the fam. Some great artists as well. Would/do recommend to everyone.

I left this review on the shops Facebook page and they blocked me from posting a reply. Shameful!! Since they want to hide and censor the reviews they receive, I feel a duty to post it elsewhere. I have never been to this shop in person, because I have a friend who got a backpiece from Jody. It is embarrassingly aweful....it is not only horribly shaded/outlined, some of the lettering is backwards!!!!!! It looks like that no regerts commercial!!!! Now she is in the process of trying to get the entire atrocity removed...If this is the best Saskatoon has to offer......Drive further away, I promise it will be worth the extra time and gas!! She has started entering it in the worst tattoo category at conventions...At least she can win some awards and free tattoo removal!! PLEASE know there is MUCH better work available elsewhere.

I had the most unprofessional experience in my life at this shop. I had an appointment for a tattoo booked with Jody. I was rescheduled with very short notice 3 times which is very inconvenient as I do not live in Saskatoon so I had made travel arrangements each time. When I showed up for my appointment on Wednesday morning I sat there and waiting for over a half an hour and he did not even show up. His staff tried to call him and he would not even answer his phone. I have never had the owner of a business have such disrespect for a client or their employees who have to deal with his shortcomings. I will never be returning to this shop.

I have been a customer of Ink Addiction for 5 years now and have gotten tons of work done by several different artists. I’ve currently been in the process of completing my sleeve and recently received a gift card to put towards my upcoming appointment however all the artists including mine have very suddenly left Ink Addiction and Ink Addiction is not willing to give any kind of reimbursement for a gift card I can no longer use when the artists all leaving is quite clearly the fault of the shop. I’m extremely hesitant to have any work done at this shop because of whatever incident has occurred and am extremely upset they are unwilling to do anything. You would think in situations like these they’d be willing to work with you towards a solution you feel good about but I guess not. This whole situation definitely makes me not want to return to this shop at any point.

My friend and I decided to go for a walk in appointment here since it was so highly rated. When we showed up to meet with the artist and have our designs drawn up, you could tell he was not at all interested in the designs we were looking for, but agreed to tattoo them anyhow. Not only did the drawing have no similarities to the reference pictures, they were triple the size we wanted. Both myself and my friend had him redraw and resize the sketches, I don’t know how many times, before we felt defeated as every time he came back with the “new versions” it look exactly like the one previous with an extra leafs or flowers, the only difference was the artist grew more and more impatient with us. We decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, as other artists listening in on our convo, encouraged it. Myself personally, I only had one request as I’m pretty open to having an artist do what they feel will look good in sense of colours and shading, but I had requested no colour since it was going on the side on my lower arm and would visible at all times, and that the size be made smaller. He agreed, put the stencil on me and again I brought up concern that it was a lot larger than I had in mind! But he ensured it wouldn’t be as big as the stencil as he was going to leave some parts out (he did not want to redraw the sketch anymore). During the tattoo I had my head faced away from the artist talking to my friend to distract me from the pain, when I saw her eyes got big and I could tell something was wrong. I looked over and not only is the tattoo the same size as the full stencil but he was adding colour. Pink, yellow and about to start in on green, when I got up and demanded he stopped. I never got an apology, an explanation or anything as to why my voice was totally ignored in a tattoo that will be on my body forever. That may I add, I hate! I was rushed to pay and rushed out the door by this artist as if it would make the whole situation disappear. I constantly have to try to hide this tattoo now, it is ugly, unfinished and I can no longer wear anything short sleeved. I have to say, the tattoo I got from ink addiction was by far, the worst tattoo I have ever gotten! The artist completely unprofessional! It may have seemed like a “pretty tattoo” to him but it was not at all what I came in seeking. After everything that happened I don’t even know my artists name as he never introduced himself. All I was told as he was a new artist that had just joined the team that day.
