I got the first session of a half sleeve done here. Had a scheduled date for the second session for this past week. I drove 8 hours to Sioux Falls (apt confirmed by artist) only to wait in my car for an extra 30 minutes for someone to show up, and then tell me that my artists was in another state. Complete waste of money and time for something I’ll never get back. (My money back for being a poor college student would be much appreciated)

Favorite spot in town! So much PERSONALITY I've gotten my haircut at PA several times: it always has a fun atmosphere, great music, and solid product at a low price. Really close to the mall, too. TIM IS AWESOME. Had a tattoo previously that I was unhappy with due to bad aftercare on my part. I came into Permanent Addictions and talked to Tim about a cover up but was unsure on what exactly to do. Tim guided me through all of my options and we settled on a sunflower for a cover up. He was very flexible but still gave great advice. The end result was a beautiful clean tattoo and you can’t see the old tattoo at all. Super thrilled I came to Permanent Addictions!!!!!

Went for some piercing work- when I went the first time the guy outside smoking told me to come back in 2 or 3 hours then the the gal would be there..I called 4 times prior heading back no answer. Went back well over 4 hours to see the same guy outside smoking to only tell me, “doesn’t look like she’s here and I didn’t even know if she’ll be in” I stated how many times I called before coming all the way back across town..he stated, “don’t know what to tell you we are all busy.” Obviously not busy enough to look and sound unprofessional and incompetent. Went to Electric Crayon and had amazing service and answered their phone right away.

Permanent Addictions is one of my favorite tattoo shops in Sioux Falls, and Nick Call is honestly one of the best artists in this whole town. I gave him a general idea that I had and let him come up with some of his own ideas for it as well and it turned out better than anything I could have imagined. Plus, the shop is super clean and filled with some rad art and comfy couches. Definitely stop by and talk to one of the artists and get yourself set up for an appointment!

I did not expect to love my tattoo as much as I do. Everybody who looks at it comments how much they like it! I did not have a great experience with my first tattoo, but Nick has restored my confidence in tattoos with my second one. Nick makes you feel comfortable and checks in multiple times to see how you are doing. He is also very meticulous, he cares about the permanent ink that is going on your body. I will not go anywhere else to get a tattoo!

My sisters and i went to here to get our tattoos. must say the work was excellent,but one employee in particular was really inappropriate.. Ryan insisted that she took her top off to get her tattoo ( i have one in the same spot but didnt have to take any clothes off) he made lot of sexual comments, and even took a picture of the tattoo on his phone ! he just seemed really really creepy. After talking to some other girls i know, i found that he was like this with them too. I feel sorry for the women that have to work with him. Great shop, just one bad pervy apple

I got a tattoo but it did not turn out well. The lines were not straight when they need to be. I can't get it touched up because it's letter-based. This means I will probably have to invest in a cover up. I blame myself partly for not asking to look at their book, but it's just something simple so I expected it to be good. --- EDITED REVIEW: The shop did the right thing and helped me fix my tattoo. I'm 10x happier with it now. They scheduled a time that was convenient to me and I'm just so glad with the outcome.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had an appt WITH deposit for a Friday at 4:30 I text (not my artist mind you) if it was still 4:30 and she said she couldn't fit me in today. I drove FOUR hours for the tattoo and I have no clue if she was even going to let me know she couldn't fit me in, I initiated the contact . Then when I went in for me deposit back she attacked me and called me rude. Do not do tattoos with Ashlee, extremely unprofessional!

So, I know a lot of folks give five stars because they got a good tattoo, which is great. I have spent a ton of time in tattoo shops, and can tell you these guys deserve it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that every artist seems to enjoy working there, and it is all about the art of tattooing. Nothing says "good shop" like artists that are happy to be there. World class tattoos in Sioux Falls? You bet. Tim Jewell is a master of the America Traditional style, and has been rocking out pretty much a whole torso piece for me. I'll update this review with pics after a few more sessions. I really can't recommend this shop enough. If you want great art, cool tattooers, and an awesome atmosphere, look no further. There are artists specializing in multiple styles, and you won't be disappointed.

Nick has done my tattoos since I turned 18 , I have 1 on each foot and am working on a leg piece now I got my feet done almost 10 years ago, I have NEVER needed a touch up, they still look like new! Every time I wear sandals and am out I get stopped a minimum of once about my tattoos I can't tell you how many people I have had compliment my tattoos and ask where I had them done, and how many people are simply astounded at how old they are. Nick is an amazing talented man, I recommend him time and time again and am do great full to have gone to permanent addictions! We had appointments with Scuba Steve for two months. When I texted two days prior to our very long drive to see him, I clarified that he would have enough time to get us in....I even briefly reminded him what we were looking for. When we arrived, he left to buy supplies leaving us to sit there for 30 minutes. After he brought us back to his work area, he was already irritable and obviously unhappy with what we were asking him to tattoo on us. (we could tell by the way he tore the outline paper off with a sigh!) after explaining what we wanted, we thought he understood....what he gave us was the opposite. It turned out looking like a 6 year old drew a coloring book page! Then he charged us $300 for that 1.5 hour session. We left in tears, trying not to throw up from the stress on the long drive home!

I got a wedding band as my first tatoo. I wanted it because of my occupation. I called for an appointment even though they take walk-ins. Erin did a very nice job, she was friendly. She did a very good job of explaining the care for it once I got home.

Cait is hands down the most talented artist I have ever been tattooed by. She is so cool and keeps it real. She was super excited from start to finish and that really made me feel confident that I chose the best artist. I gave her 18 very different succulents for reference and she did them all so well it’s like she just laid them on my skin straight from nature. She really took the time to make sure she chose the best colors to make everything come together. Her skill level is out of this world and you can tell that she is very passionate about what she does. I have been showing off this tattoo all summer and I’m honored to have one of Cait’s masterpieces. So if you want a very well-thought out and perfectly detailed tattoo go to Cait! I will definitely be going back to her for my future tattoos!

I received one tattoo from Erin. I came in explaining pretty vague ideas and she spent the time and patience to work through it to get me an amazing tattoo. She is currently working on my sleeve, and as of right now, everyday, at least one person says how much they like my tattoos. Also let me not understate the cleanliness of their equipment, the store and the staff, she did everything a doctor would do short of holding her hands up in the air. My recommendation to Permanent Addiction and to Erin herself can't be more than a five star or it would be. Can't wait to get more work done.

Stopped in this shop with my sister in law because the reviews were all great. Simply wanted a yellow ribbon on both of our wrists, the size of a quarter.. My sister in law sat down and had to wait about 15 minutes between the stencil being placed and the artist completing it. I sat down and was told the stencil needed to dry and the artist left.. 30 minutes later, the artist still had not returned. In the mean time while waiting for the artist to return, the 5:00 SCHEDULED appointment came in and was told to come back after 5:30.. Completely baffled at the lack of service. Absolutely not pleased at all.

Called to see if they could do a few tattoos. They said they would call back and let me know if they were able to. They also said that it would be no later than the next day that they would call back. They never called back and said they could or couldnt do it. Poor poor communication skills and unprofessional.. They lost my business
