Just recently got my first tattoo here and I'm kinda disappointed. The tattoos lines are very shaky and uneven. The color, while I'm happy with how light it's become, is missing in some parts like the corners. I didnt notice any of this until after I had taken the wrapping off (at the time I was told to). To add to this, the artist I had seemed kinda rushed, maybe because his next appointment was already there (an hour early). While the tattoo is smaller, I dont think it shouldve taken just 15 minutes- and we still had around 15 minutes before the next appointment. Only reasons im giving two stars is because the decor is BEAUTIFUL! And the staff seem very friendly! I dont know the name of the receptionist at the front when I was waiting, I wish i did though because she was amazing and helped calm my nerves. So thank you for that! But when it comes to getting my touch up and fixing the lines, I will not be coming back here.

The first time I had my navel pierced, I went to a different place in the city that I knew about. Unfortunately, this place did not do a good job with my piercing and left me with a lot of pain and infections for nearly an entire year until I finally took it out and let it close. Decided later on to get my navel re-done, but did my research that time. I heard great reviews about Elisa at Gaslight, so I chose to get it done there. Elisa explained to me what was wrong with my previous piercing, explained the correct method, and did a fantastic job with my piercing! I felt comfortable the entire time, and the piercing healed quickly. Super happy with the results from Elisa at Gaslight! Highly recommended! I haven't had any piercings done by Geanna yet, but I've heard great things about her, too!

The work itself is OK....my appointment was at 1230. Scott came out to reception at 1245 to tell me he just had to set up. Took me back at 1pm then said he had to make the stencil. Placed the stencil at 1:10. Said he had to 'let it dry' then came back 20 minutes later with a coffee. I had tried to find him in the meantime to make a change to the stencil, and he seemed put out that I asked for this (didn't seem to need to let the change dry before he started with the ink). Was finally finished just before 2, for a tattoo that took him 15 minutes to complete. I don't appreciate artists who think their time is worth more than mine, and who have the personality of wet cardboard. $140.00 for a 15 minute tattoo that took almost an hour and a half, I expect more. Won't be returning.

Very poor customer service. With an appointment, my artist was two and a hald hours late. He then charged me for the full amount of time. When I needed a touch-up, it was an even bigger communication mess. I do not recommend!

Went into the store at around 5pm to get a new nose ring and possibly a piercing. I didn't mind waiting a little because the place has a lot of neat things to look at, so I patiently waited for half an hour with no help. Decided that was a little too long of a wait for a piece of jewelry and left. I wonder if I should've maybe called ahead of time?

Gaslight is amazing to get tattoos I highly recommend going too Steve he's their best artist there! I recommend avoiding getting anything done by the girl tattoo artist though as I don't find her work as good as Steve's and seems she's wanting to do her work all the time as I have heard it from tons of people. But give it a shot maybe it's something you like :) I also 110 percent recommend Elisa for piercing she's the top lady to get pricings from and the other piercer is pretty good as well . I have seen her work online and would give her a shot :)

I had a previous nose piercing that had to be taken out for 12 hours for a medical procedure. I couldn't get the piercing back in myself. I went to Gaslight to have it re-pierced. The staff said it wasn't necessary, instead she took me immediately into a room, put my jewelry back in and then didn't charge me. Fantastic service.

Stopped in on a Monday afternoon with a simple lip ring stud that I purchased there previously. Brought in the old one to match it. Didn’t even care about colour. Staff was rude & just informed me that she “didn’t know anything about jewelry “. She told me I’d have to come back tomorrow as the piercing guy would be in then. I said I don’t need a piercing just a replacement stud. She repaired that she knew nothing about jewelry. Told her I’d go somewhere else. Why is she employed there if she knows nothing about the products??

I just got my lip pierced, and it was awesome. I was a little nervous but Geanna was very professional. She was very nice and experienced as well. Edit: I had went back for a longer bar because the swelling increased and she did change my piercing.( A different girl, not Geanna)The problem was that she did not give me a longer bar and installed the ball incorrectly. I hadn't noticed until the shop was closed, but the thread on the bar was inside my lip because of the swelling. Overall this is a nice place very clean but I don't think I will be coming back.

I've been to gaslight three times since moving to Regina. Each time I've been greeted by friendly and polite receptionists that treat all customers great. I've heard them be supportive of younger folks/people who've never been tattooed before--making it a less intimidating experience. I've had three tattoos from taneille and each time I've been BLOWN AWAY by both the quality, speed, and pricing. Very impressed with this shop, kudos to all the staff and artists!
