I wandered into the shop a couple of years back with no ink and a bad phobia of needles. Still not great with needles, but I'm a firm tattoo convert. Every one of the artists is amazing to work with. They're incredibly talented artists, master craftsfolk, and incredibly decent human beings to be around while you're getting inked for hours at a time. Couldn't ask for better tattooers or a better shop!

Though I have only had the chance to get tattooed by Julian, the entire staff of Black Sea Tattoo always make me feel welcome! I would and will get tattooed by every artist there, as their environment is a perfect mix of professional and relaxing! They are true artists of their craft! The tunes and conversation is always great, so I love visiting their space! They are definitely number one shop in Saskatchewan! I love all my custom pieces done by Julian and Black Sea Tattoo and I’ll be back for more!

I've been there twice, my first big tattoo in my arm, back in February 2018, JC did a great job exactly what I asked for, this year I came back for another tattoo, not as big or complicated like the first one but Julian did a great job too, I recommend this tattoo shop completely, it is clean, organized and everybody there is friendly.

I gave a sample of what I wanted & asked for a preview as it was a cover up and I didn't want a repeat. I asked twice more by email for a preview. I didn't see the design until I got the only resemblence to my pic was the blue in it. In the end (4.5 hours later) I came out with an expensive tattoo that does cover the mess I had before. Not bright blue hollyhocks. Not what I came in for but a nice tattoo with good lines. It was fine but I would not go back. Also the first time ever I had a huge yellow bruise under and around the tat. Add on: when the clear scab came off so did a lot of the colour.
