Got my daith done there, they were very pleasant, but a week later the ball from my piercing fell out and they tried to charge me to put it back in. This makes me mad because it is their fault the ball fell out, also why should I be charged for already having the jewelry?

I went in to have my neometal nose piercing changed and I waited for 20 minutes and didn't even get anything done. I don't mind waiting, especially because it was walk-in time, but I received horrible service and advice. Upon finding out they don't have a big enough ring (my piercing is really high, i didn't know this) I said i would get a stud. Instead of changing my piercing out, I was told to just go home and use tweezers to "yank it out." Obviously I was there because I couldn't do it myself and I needed their help. I have always been treated like a million bucks at other shops, and i'm shocked at how poor their service was. Edit in response to the Owner’s reply: I was in two years ago, the walk-in time wasn’t busy. Nobody told me anything about being unsure of neometal piercings and I doubt you’d remember two years later.

I'm highly disappointed with Sandra! Besides being rude she's extremely unprofessional. My daughter was home for 10 days during the holidays. We were wanting very easy simple mother/daughter tattoos. I went to Sandra as I knew her a little bit from her purchasing Avon from me a few years back. I was also wanting a seperate basic tattoo which I was going to book with her... yes she knew this and I'd sent her the picture. Anyway, deposit paid, appointment booked and we were extremely excited and happy that we could get them done before my daughter left Dec 30th. Appointment booked for Dec 28th @1pm. We go there and she said with a snotty attitude that we were late! Tried telling us that our appointment was at 10:30am. I didn't bring her business card with the day and time with me. Didn't think I'd need it. I told her that she told (and wrote on card) both of us to come in at 1pm because it was her husband's birthday. She questioned herself saying,"did I put 1pm by mistake?". She than decided we were wrong and because we were late she couldn't do them! Fine, we left disappointed and found a much better, nicer, professional tattooist who did our tatoos the following day. ( Thank you Anchored Ink). I than contacted Sandra saying that I'd like to have the other tattoo done by her as she'd already had my deposit. I was told, no refunds and deposits are are non- transferable! I found the card and in fact it said 1pm! No where on the card does it say deposits are non- transferable! Needless to say, I'll never recommend her to anyone! I didn't waste my time arguing with her as it was obvious that even though I'm on cpp disability, she needed the $50 more than I did! So again, Anchored Ink will be getting my business and friends/families business from now on. Definitely don't recommend dealing with Sandra. Each tattoo took roughly 15 minutes which she was also going to charge us an hour for. (If I could add a picture to this review of the appointment card, I would) *** Update Sandra just messaged me and when I sent her a picture of the appointment card she blocked me! Again showing her lack of professionalism! Unbelievable. Cleary avoiding the fact she messed up! I can't even be angry about it as it's laughable. Conviently I can't reply to her comment or share photo. Hope she used your free money wisely. I have no respect for anyone taking from the less fortunate people and even less respect for ppl who can't own their errors. Ps Her comment says nothing about it being her husband's birthday and how she was going to close that day but said she'd help us due to our time restriction. Not going back and forth with you Sandra. If I was in the wrong... I'd own it and apologize. ** Day 2 of this... really! Stop modifying your response! Lets make 2 things clear, 1) I did not have an appointment for a consultation. We were comminicating via messanger and then my daughter and I walked in (no appointment) to show you what we chose. 2) I have your business card with the day and time on the back! You are wrong... you blocked me the second I sent you a pic of the card! I gave you a bad review... not the end of the world. You have plenty of excellent reviews from others. Perhaps you just had an attitude with us.. I don't know! Modifying your response yet again only shows you're professionalism with US. I'm free to express MY opinion about a business... hense the whole point of "Reviews". You're making this a bigger deal than it was. I'm done! Modify all you want... it doesn't change the truth.

I've heard really bad things about this place but I just went and Got snakebites done to see for myself. The lady was amazing she had 14 year experience and made sure I was ok. She was starrel and measured with an actual measuring tape. It was great experience.

I will only trust my skin to Sandr . Sandra has done 4 of my 9 tattoos, and is the only person I've seen in Red Deer. The first time I went in there, I was amazed - they gave me better after care instructions than any of my other tattoo artists, and everything has always healed beautifully. Her and Jason are awesome to talk with, and over the last 7 years I've built up what I like to think has been a grea realtionship. No one has ever helped me love the skin I'm in quite like Expert Body Mod. Thanks guys!

Love it here! Had my tragus pierced a few months back and have since moved. Drove the three hours there to get something else done recently, and then three hours back home. Well worth it! I have never had to wait too long. I have had botched piercings before, went here to get them redone after they healed and I am SO much happier with them. I would recommend it!

I took my daughter in 2 weeks ago to get her cartilage pierced. She's 15. The customer service I got was great as a parent But what got me was the service provided to my daughter. She was treated with respect. Educated on taking care of the piercing. Her questions were answered in a manner that when we got home, she had no issues with taking care of her piercing. She was confident. It's only been two weeks and it's healing great. Very impressed and great sense of humor here too :)

Very unhappy. They totally screwed up my daughters piercings and didn't seem to know what they're doing. On top of that, the customer service is terrible. Went to Dark Day afterwards and they were a million times better, so go there instead! edited: I just noticed the response from the shop below and wanted to mention that we did in fact come back when we realized there was a problem. We were told to let the piercing grow over and then have them pierced again. Sorry, but I don't trust you anymore to go through that again! Dark Day was great with removing the piercing and their service was 100% better. They were fast, friendly, cleaner and really seemed to know piercings better. I also want to add that expert body mod also marked the placement of the piercings with tattoo ink which was totally unnecessary and didn't come off for months.

I am not very good at getting piercings (don't handle the pain very well haha) but I will continue to go here because of the extra time taken to make sure I am comfortable and well looked after. i went in with my really close friend and we both got the same piercings plus i got my eyebrow, it's been two days and i had to take my lip piercing out. the bars are too short to give room for swelling, my lip is bigger than a normal persons lip, and she did not clamp it correctly i should not have felt the needle going through. i am not impressed with over all service. i feel as if it could have been a lot better, will not be coming here again.

Very kind, awesome sense of humour and genuinely care for clients. Went there for a second nose piercing and had a awesome experience. I told the girl that I have a history of fainting because I’m a whimp. (Lol). She was absolutely great with me, constantly asked how I was doing, if I was alright. She made sure I was comfortable and talked with me so I wasn’t so tense. I got light headed after the piercing was done, she got me a cold water bottle, helped lay me down and talked with me until I was feeling better. She didn’t rush me out of the room, she waited and talked with me until I was 100% feeling better. I was super pleased with my experience there and will definitely go back. :)
