I had the opportunity to stop in this passed Saturday March 7th which was opening day for Low Hive Tattoo shop. It is a very clean, bright and cozy tattoo shop. It is also located in Smithville which is a quiet town. Parking is very close to the shop and is free! I have been going to Ty for the past 3 years for my colour realism tattoos and he always does an amazing job! I highly recommend him. He can also do black and grey tattoos if colour is not your style. He can pretty much do anything and does awesome coverup tattoos as well. Ty is a very quick tattoo artist who doesn't complain and just gets the work done. I have a rare bleeding disorder and some tattoo artists will not work on me or have complained a lot inthe past. Ty took on the challenge about 3 years ago and I will keep going to him in the future! Aidan is Ty's wife, she is another amazing tattoo artist. She has tattooed some font/script and smaller tattoos on me which have turned out amazing as well. She is a very positive person who loves to tattoo and is up for the challenge. They definitely make a great team!. Check them out! Prices are reasonable for what you get and Ty and Aidan are awesome people to be around! Congrats on your new shop guys! You guys deserve it????

Been wanting to get a space sleeve for years! When I came across Tyler's Instagram I knew he was the guy to do it. Low Hive offers fair pricing for high quality work, they design the tattoo with you in the room and only work off of original designs. I went in for two back to back days to FULLY COMPLETE a half sleeve. On the second day Tyler went out his way to make me feel more comfortable by applying a numbing ointment any time he felt I needed it. This place was well worth the two hour drive! Can't wait to finish my sleeve!

Amazing place!! All the artists are incredibly skilled. They keep the shop clean and tidy. Very punctual, not 5 min after my appointment time I was in the chair. High quality tattoo, barley even felt it, and it healed perfect. Already getting booked in for my next appointment and you should too!
