I bought 2 deals off group-on and book an appointment for me and girlfriend. The shop was closed. And they redeemed the coupon. The quote they give me I found was over priced. I told them the quote that 3 other shop gave me and the reply was. " take your business their then." They advertised $150 for $300 tattoo. Far from it!!!! It took 1 week for group on to refund my money. Group on deal is not a deal!!!!!

I had lots of ink already when I walked in the shop, but the experience I had with Mikey made it to a whole new level. The shop is clean and the staff is very professionnal. Those guys are real artists, taking my ideas to make a masterpiece using lots of talent. My new rib tattoo is awesome and these guys made the experience so amazing I encourage everybody to get there. If you are looking for a tattoo artist that stands out from the crowd and will make everybody admire your new ink, don't waste your time and talk to Glen and Mikey, those guys will make you more than satisfied.

Came here few years ago, liked what I got. Was gonna go back again early this year, have been trying to book an appointment for a month (tried email, website form, call multiple times), no one ever got back to me. Finally got a reply on FB message after a month saying the owner is away and they aren't in business until he comes back. Still haven't got any updates, not sure if they are even in business anymore.

The Shop is a lovely place to get tattooed. The artists are all very friendly and helpful; shortly after walking through the door, I was told where the bathroom is and what the wifi password is. The space is very clean, as were the individual stations. My artist (Scott/Sleestak) is great - he was very fast without appearing to be rushing anything, and checked in with my throughout the appointment to make sure that I was still good to continue. He used a really nice non-stick dressing after finishing, and readily offered aftercare instructions. I highly recommend him and the shop in general! A couple of other things to note - they take all forms of payment, and play pretty great tunes.

I was a walk in, originally went to Lucky Dog next door and it was just awful in there. Anyways, walked in, they were so friendly and polite. I can honestly say that I had an amazing experience. I've been to several tattoo shops and The Shop Tattoo Co is by far the best experience I've ever had. Very clean, professional and excellent service. I've been a loyal client of Glen's for the past 3 years, I've never been disappointed and will continue to get more work done by him. His work is amazing, especially his free hand. He had free hand a huge side piece that covers the side of my body of a lotus flower, and butterfly that is covered in vines. I've been stopped many times by people completing my tattoo and requesting Glen's information. I highly recommend you visit the shop and get tattooed by Glen.

i was originally planning to get my tattoo done at a place nearby but i stumbled across this place while walking around and figured i'd check it out. i'm so glad i did. these guys are engaging, professional and clean. can't beat that! Micky did a fantastic job on my tattoo and he couldn't have been kinder! i have no complaints and i plan to go back to him for any other work i want done while i'm in the city. 5 stars, and i plan to recommend it to anyone else i know looking for ink!!

All the artists at the shop are super talented and super personable and friendly. Wether it's your first tattoo or you hundredth you'll leave there completely satisfied. Wether it's a small personal piece behind your ear or a T-Rex dressed as an admiral 1/4 sleeve these guys will give you the utmost attention to detail and creativity and make sure you get exactly what you wanted and more. So if you're in town and feeling the itch for some new ink there's really only one place to go. Now go make an appointment or just stroll on in and get some work done!

Been to a few parlours in the city and found they were great however lacked customer service. This was not the case at The shop tattoo! Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming, to the point where Glen took a trip to the store and asked everyone, staff and patrons, if they wanted anything to snack or drink (quite aggressively!) I felt extremely comfortable and highly recommend it here! Not to mention the extremely talented Fede who did my piece! I'll be back for more!

Would highly recommend this place for tattoos. I have been here several times and the tattoo artists know exactly what they are doing and will work with you on what you want. They are very friendly and for their work it is very affordable for tattoos. Very easy to book an appointment with and when there is a problem they will not hesitate to fix it! I would compare the experience of getting a tattoo similar to that of drinking cherry cough syrup - while it may kind of suck while it's happening, you're very glad you did it once it's over. Getting tattooed by Michael at The Shop Tattoo Co, however, was less like cherry cough syrup and more like cinnamon buns and lemonade. Considering I was paying him to straight up stab me for a few hours, I have never had a more enjoyable experience getting tattooed, and was amazed and a little disappointed when my pieces were finished - not by the quality of work (which is phenomenal) but that conversation must cease as it was time to go! Michael is an incredible artist, and a bit of a tattoo perfectionist (which, take it from anyone, is an excellent trait to posses in this business). His attention to detail and composition is immaculate and you will walk away with a beautiful piece of art in a perfect spot, guaranteed. Michael is emerging onto the tattoo scene with fresh ideas, an artist's eye, and great hair to boot. I know I am looking forward to future appointments with him and would recommend his work to anyone. Thank you!

Boy did they ever deliver- despite my screaming and whimpering from the pain Scott gave me a beautiful tattoo amazing line work and shading. I came to The Shop Tattoo Co. after finding out Glen Hartless Was the owner. The shop itself is lovely, much bigger than it appeared from the outside. Everything is clean and organized; and of course great artwork adorns the walls everywhere you look. There is even a T.V where the beds are, so you can watch whatever movie happens to be on while getting tattooed by an artist. Speaking of which, the artists are exactly that. Every talented tattooer there is ready and able to handle any style of work I'd say, and they're very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking to get your first tattoo done, I struggle to think of a better place than this.

in short Mikey C is the BOMB nice lil "shop" right in the heart of Toronto. was referred here by a friend and very happy with the work that i got done. great vibes in "The Shop" and all that good stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND cheers ps..to the girl that gave 1 star..clearly you girls weren't giving Glen clear info as to what you wanted or it wouldn't have gotten so messed up (in your opinion)..you girls failed the moment you walked in the door because you already had the "what you heard about Glen from someone else" thing in the back of your mind #fail

Went for a very simple small tattoo with Shawn and he couldn't get it right after 2 sessions. He tried to rush through it the first time and finish it in 5 minutes before another appointment, and I had to come back for him to fix it, which only made it slightly better. I think if someone is paying 100$ for a 1 inch tattoo you should at least take the time to get it right.

Great place to get a tattoo. I popped in one day and Glen stopped what he was doing to greet me and listen to what I wanted done. He recommended I get in touch with Fede since I wanted black and grey and line work. He invited me in to look at the tattoos worked on that day. Very friendly vibe and clean. I booked with Fede two weeks later and she was very friendly and attentive to detail. She asked questions and checked to make sure of what I wanted before starting which I really appreciated. It was a great experience and I absolutely love my tattoo. Thanks Fede!!!

Would definitely recommend this shop! I went to this shop for the first time last week for an appointment with Scott. I have had other tattoo work done before, but never here. It's one of the cleanest shops I've ever set foot in. It's nice and opened, you don't feel confined at all. All of the stations are very neat. There isn't flash all over the walls surrounding their personal stations. They do have beautiful larger artwork pieces on the wall which the artists have done themselves. The staff were great and friendly from the moment I walked in. Even the other clients getting work done were pretty awesome. Scott was great to deal with prior to my appointment, super easy to get in contact with and answered questions promptly. I have to add that his line work is also amazing! Will definitely recommend and be back to this shop.

I recently had a very large script side tattoo completed by Glen Hartless. I can't say enough about the quality of his work, the professionalism of the other staff and the cleanliness of the establishment. He was very thorough in the design of the script and took his time to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I have ZERO tolerance to pain and he made the 2.5 hour manageable to say the least. i dont want to be rude to something or someone but lets be honest. I've a month to get my 2nd tattoo on this shop, i read a lot of good reviews and comments so i make an appointment to them. My appointment time is 4pm so i came 30 minutes early, they said that my artist still on tattoing someone, i understand it. It was 4:30 in the afternoon and still he's not done, but it was fine. 5pm we start my session, i want a compass, so he drew it in my arms, you what it sucks? he keeps talking to his co-employee while he's holding the gun(the one that theu used to tattooing) he is painting in my arms while on talking, it so frustated on my part believe me and its so annoying, so i ignore it. You know how long it takes just to finish a compass on my arms? Just an hour and its so bad..this is not what i want, if you are tired from your first session just tell me..i know you guys are the best but we trust you on thats why we choose you to make our tattoos..this is our body and that painting becomes our part but its worst..and you know whats makes me mad? I pay 360 dollars for a hour session..i dont argue on that day because im professional person but evertime i see my arms..it makes me mad and regret why i choose you guys

Great shop. I got my first tattoo here with mikey and he was fantastic. Only reason I put 4/5 is because there has been multiple times where the scheduling was messed up and it had to be changed to a later date.
