New to Langford. Not new to tattoos, got most of my work done in Seattle. I was curious about this place and decided to phone in. I Was told there would be some open slots in August and I’d be phoned back shortly. It’s been weeks and not a word...... so i phoned back and the person that answered the phone sounded annoyed with me? It’s not like I’m trying to get inked for free. Customer service is a no for me.

I came into the shop to book and appointment. Photos were taken of what I wanted tattooed. My name, phone number and email were taken down. I was given a Goldstream tattoo card with Thursday June 6 written on it and told my appointment would be sometime after 4pm. The day before my appointment I phoned to ask to confirm the time. The person who answered the phone told me that he was the only one working that day, didn't see me on the schedule, and to call back the following morning to speak with someone else. Additionally he told me to send them a message and picture (even though I had already came in the shop with photos) of what I wanted over Facebook. So right after hanging up, I sent a message and pictures. No one got back to me for over 24 hours. Keep in mind this is now the day if my tattoo appointment. I had booked off of work early to make my appointment. No one at the shop had contacted me with the phone number or email I provided. It was now around 2:30 (around 1.5 hours before my tattoo appointment) I went to check in the Facebook message I was asked to send to Goldstream Tattoo. They had messaged me back 10 minutes prior (again no phone call or email) stating that they were swamped and too busy to tattoo me and booked solid until September. And that my best option was to phone in every morning to see if someone had cancelled I sent them a message back politely expressing my frustrations and asking where the communication went wrong on their end. No one has responded to me... I jumped on a friends Facebook account and sent them a completely unrelated message and they responded to me right away. So after this extreme lack of communication and tremendous waste of my time and effort, I feel obligated to leave this negative feedback.

Very shocked with my new experience with Terry. He was very rude disorganized and hard to get ahold of. I have gotten work done by him previously and he has done a great job and very accommodating ..... but this time around i am shocked. I had asked him to see my tattoo sketch before my appointment so we can make necessary adjustments. He failed to do so. I came in for my appointment and to my surprise i was not happy with my design..... he got upset and blamed me for the entire miscommunications...... i had apologized.... but i had tried to see the sketch prior to the apoointment for this exact reason. Very disrespectful and unprofessional, what happened is beyond me.

Came here for a walk-in for my first ever tattoo while I’m visiting Van Island and had such an amazing, comfortable experience. Olivia fit me into her shedule when I got there because she knew all the other artists were busy as well and wouldn’t be able to fit me in, and she was so kind the whole time and I felt comfortable and wasn’t nervous as all even though it was my first tattoo. My tattoo turned out perfect and exactly how I wanted it, and it went super quickly. Would 10/10 recommend coming here, and will definitely try to come again the next time I visit the Island!

Gotten 6 tattoos from the shop and they never disappoint. I've got 3 tattoos from Nelson including a cover-up on my hand/arm, and no matter how hard I look I can't even see a trace of the old tattoo now I'm left with a beautiful original artwork I love looking at. I've gotten two tattoos by Nelson in the past few months and my partner has gotten one and we honestly couldn't be happier with the service and how amazing our ink has turned out, he takes his time to make sure everything is perfect and it really pays off. I came in for a flash deal for my first tattoo here, and was expecting mediocre service as it was a sale but I was so impressed with how much detail and precision he put in to my tattoo and he didn't stop until it was perfect. I would recommend Goldstream tattoo to anyone looking for a new tat studio in the Vic/Langford area!

I contacted Al Murray regarding a tattoo for my husband as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately Al reacted very weirdly as soon as I mentioned word astrology. He ignored my messages for a week. Only to refuse to create a tattoo. So if you are looking for someone who is open-minded and will listen what you want he is probably not the guy for you. Very disappointed with the way I was treated. I am glad he refused to perform the job. A tattoo is commitment for the rest of the life and having such a heavy energy attach to it would be very unfortunate
