I was referred to Justin by 3 people when I asked around about where to go for my piercings. I went In a year ago for a free consultation, left feeling very confident! He had a wide variety of sizes and jewelry, and offered to order in anything I wanted. Had very well lit and clean shop. End of September, I had Justin do both my piercings and they where perfect strait. Yay! He was very professional. Explained the process, the expected healing time, and the home cleaning routine, and I was given a cleaning care sheet. He was very efficient! And he wore gloves, which is important to me. When it came to changing bars for comfort reasons he was happy to help me, and even upgraded my sizes. He if fast to respond to any questions over social media when I have questions and concerns. And offered to do all my jewelry changes, whether I bought from him or not! He cares about his clients and the healing process. I recommend Justin to everyone, and will be coming to him for ALL my future piercing needs ????

Justin offers some of the best prices in Victoria, with a variety of jewelry options and colours. I went in for a piercing today and told him of the horrific experience I had as a 7 year old, getting my ears pierced with a piercing gun that got stuck in my ear, caused the earring to be jammed, get infected and grow over. My mom had to take me to a tattoo/piercing shop where they took me into the basement and a "scary looking dude" (to a kid lol) covered in piercings and tattoos was so kind and sweet to me as a terrified 7 year old and took it out, gave me advice about piercings and told me to never get any future piercings done anywhere where they use guns instead of needles. And he goes, "yeah, that was me". Long story but he is still the same very kind, knowledgeable, attentive guy and I will only go to him from now on!

Clean and friendly people, but not worth it for the years of problems with my piercings that were blamed on me not cleaning properly while they healed. The issue was the low quality jewelry used. The type of hoop we first pierced my cartilage with, and the barbells I recently had put in, caused hypertrophic scarring, infections, and pain. This is not a place I'd recommend going to, find somewhere else with high quality jewelry and that doesn't blame you for your piercings not healing properly.

This shop is one of the best ones out there. I had gone to a different shop in Nanaimo several months ago to try and get my second lobe piercings done, and I had to walk out because they were going to charge me $200+ for luxury jewelry that I didn't need. Just the posts alone were going to be $50+, and the staff told me that "jewelry is an investment" when I refused to pay. At Blank Generation however, I got the same quality jewelry and better service for a quarter of the price. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone who would like to get pierced.

Justin is amazing. I have had a couple piercings done by him in the past. He is super knowledgeable and explains everything really well so that you know exactly what is going on. He always checks in on you during ur piercing to make sure you are okay, and is super kind and calm during the whole thing. If you are ever unhappy with your piercing he is always willing to try and fix it or help you so you are happy at the end of the day. I moved up to Parksville and still drive down to Victoria to see him, as he is the only person I get piercings from! Highly recommend Blank Generation.

I've been going to Justin for all my piercings since I was eighteen. He may seem intimidating, but he is actually so friendly and helpful. Two of my lobe piercings got infected and the holes were 1/2 closed. Justin offered to help me get the earrings in for me without any charge. I honestly would recommend him to anyone in Victoria looking to get pierced (or tattoo'd!). He also has an amazing collection of geeky goodies in his studio which makes the place all the more awesome.

So, in terms of professionalism, they did a great job. Talked me through the piercing, talked after-care etc. However, when he pierced me he slipped up and messed up the first piercing, and had to re-pierce it. Because of the close proximity of the holes, they've now conjoined and created a larger hole in the top of my belly-button, and some flesh is herniating. I've taken care of the piercing and have washed/been extremely careful with moving it around, but you go to a place like this to get a good piercing without a mess-up. Even with his mistake he also charged me full price for it, which made me raise an eyebrow but it was fine. I would be careful going to this place as he didn't really take responsibility for his mistakes.

6 months after having my nose pierced I tried to change my stud but couldn't get the new one in. I had never ben to Blank Generation before, but they helped me put it in free of charge! De-infected it, safely used instruments to put it back in, and helped me feel like I wasn't going to make the situation worse. Really, really nice staff!

I haven't ever had a piercing in this shop before but in under ten minutes he had me all sorted out with a new ball and the piercing in and he only charged me 10$ for the part. Got my double high nostrils done by Justin,he was running about 15 minutes behind despite there being no one else in the shop. When I was getting the actual peircing done I explained that I was having issues understanding the instructions due to my hearing loss and he was getting short with me for asking him to repeat himself to make sure I knew what he was doing.the needle got stuck when doing the second one,which was roughly pulled through and ended up bleeding for over 20 minutes. On top of the experience not being good they are insanely uneven to the point where I am getting it redone at a different shop

Horrible, do NOT go here. My boyfriends, my sister and my piercing all got keloids or infections. Instead of selling saline spray the care instructions are to soak your piercing in salty water, this is where my problems began. Six month later I'm still struggling with a painful infected piercing. Also I thought I was being sold Neo Metal jewelry but later found out it was not.
