This tattoo parlour is so clean. Colin is an amazing tattoo artist, personally never got a tattoo done here but will be in the future, but my boyfriend has gotten 8 tattoos done by him, and my mother got one and all of them have come out amazing. Colin's work is clean. Priced cheaply but the work is done amazingly. Best part is, he has a tv and you can watch whatever you want on Netflix while you get your tat done ! I always recommend my friends to go see him because of how comforting his studio is and how amazing the tattoos look in the end!

Let me tell you when I say, Colin's studio is AMAZING. The art work, quality, and price are extremely unbelievable. It was my first time coming and receiving his service, while bringing along 3 other friends/co workers with me. He had so much patience regarding our pieces; adding more details and adding more in general. He knew exactly what we wanted, and stated if it would look good or not. He really values what you love. Was just there yesterday. The artist is awesome! Down to earth very personable. Keeps the conversation light and fun. I love that I could email some pictures and he could have that ready to go for my appointment time. His lines are nice and smooth. Clearly a steady hand. My dad brought me, after he got an amazing wolf done. He was brought by his friend after she had a bird done. Biggest thing for me is how clean the shop is! As soon as I walked in I could smell the cleaning solution. Not overwhelming but smelled as if the shop was sterile. (Loved it!!!!) This shop owner takes pride in his shop and his work! My friend and I got our first tattoos here about a month ago. Lucas was great even from the exchange of emails he was so friendly. My friend and I searched lots of places and we chose this one because of their great customer service and value. Everything went smoothly and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was lightheaded after and they were great. I laid down and they put cold towels on me and offered me Lucas' moms cookies. Made me feel so comfortable and amazing. Typically when going to other tattoo shops they will simply put the stencil on and tattoo away, but Colin had me get up and look at the stencil in different positions. This place is a gem, amazing and talented staff, affordable prices and overall very welcoming atmosphere. My husband and i called for an appointment , we were given one the same day, i explained what i wanted and sent images for inspiration through their Instagram page. By the time we arrived, our artist Lillian (hope i spelt it correct) already had a custom hand drawn design almost exactly what i had in mind, i was beyond ecstatic. Being our first tattoo experience we were not disappointed, now i know why people say they are addicting! Will definitely be referring to all my friends and family.

I WILL LET THE PICS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES....DO NOTgo there...Price is cheap because the work is as well...you pay for what you get. Lines arent straight, went for a touch up,. better yet to schedule a fix, on a STAR on MY FINGER...said he was gonna charge me, minimum is 80... and i got the tattoo a week ago. POOR customer service.... could have scheduled 10 min out of his time to redo and alls he did was blame me for the way it turned out...was supposed to be blue and IT WAS until the black ink (the outline of star) overwhelmed the blue ink because he put needle too deep under the skin. Luckily its something that I can fix. Now that i think of it...What possessed me to go back and ask for a touch up?? being that it turned out like crap to begin with. I guess you put your faith into that the problem COULD and WOULD solved leaving a HAPPY customer that would have left a good review instead of this. NO LIE..... go to Elevated Ink on Kingston rd. Ive gotten work from there before. Artist had left so I decided to try someone new and more local BUT the travel, quality, price and customer service is WORTH IT IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE....you can blame me and Ill take the hit in regards to color loss ALTHOUGH I have tattoos from foot to neck, front and back.... this is my first time experiencing this, location of tattoo and you.... IM NOT AN EXPERT, Im not even gonna explain myself you can take a look for yourself an AMATUER can look at both the before AND after pics and see flaws in both.... in regards to color or blackness, the crooked lines... THATS YOU....Im not responsible for that part, what is no longer on superficial skin but UNDER you did you deposited the ink not me. Oh yeah that almost perfect circle in the middle...? Im guessing thats where you ran your needle in circles when you deposited color, not a scab from me, how the hell do you get a scab like that??? Your inexperience. SORRY FOR ALL THE COPIES, NEVER POSTED HERE LET ALONE UPLOAD PICS....

Woke up last Sunday i.e. 22/07/2018 with a strong desire to get a tattoo done on the side of my forearm. After browsing Black Engine Tattoo Company's website, I had a gut feeling that these guys will be good. So, I took a chance and walked into the studio that afternoon and my intuition was correct. Rose was professional, personable and the studio does use quality ink and supplies (I was shown the expiration date and relevant supplies were opened in front of me). The studio is clean, inviting and the prices are quite reasonable. My tattoo is still healing and I am certain it will also heal me :). God bless!

Colin and Lucas did amazing tattoos for me and my sister today. I've already booked for my next appointment with Colin in 3 weeks! Both Colin and Lucas were so friendly, patient and helpful and allowed/offered breaks when needed. The tattoos were gorgeous and came out better than we could have imagined, such attention to detail, clean work, and a chill,fun and friendly atmosphere, we watched Seinfeld and had lots of laughs. Went in for my first tattoo back in December 2015 and Colin was great! Very helpful, very patient, and really all about the customer service and experience. I don't like tattoos at all, and made the mistake going in on an empty stomach (thinking it would help). Colin even offered his blueberry muffin as I chugged some orange juice to get my blood sugar levels back up. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to get my second tattoo! highly recommended!

I walked in on the LONG weekend just on a whim... first tattoo ever and decided I had to get it that day or not at all. I have absolutely NO regrets at all just wish I could put up a picture. It is exactly what I wanted, flawless, healing amazing and no complaints. I have printed my next one out already to save you some time and I will see you guys in a couple weeks for another work of art (I think I have the tattoo fever now :).
