The whole team at Ouro is amazing! I was extremely nervous to get my Tragus pierced, and Thor was very understanding and made the piercing process painless. The placement of the piercing, piercing process, and jewellery cleaning procedures at Ouro are all incredible. They have went above and beyond with customer service and with covid cleaning procedures. Im writing this review only the next day and I don’t even feel my piercing at all. I will be coming back for my forward helix next and I can’t wait!

Looked almost everywhere in downtown Vancouver to get my tragus pierced until I saw them on google, unwanted to go there just because of how stylish and clean the shop is. Fernanda and her staff are very friendly, super professional and knowledgeable, made me feel welcome and comfortable, they guided me through the whole procedure, it was quick and easy and everything is just top quality, people you don't need to look anywhere else. If I ever come back to Vancouver I will definitely visit them again.

This place is unique! I was looking for piercing place in Vancouver that doesn’t look too “intense”, and came across Ouro. The place feels very relaxing, very clean, bright, feels more like a salon. After having my ears pierced, which was done beautifully, they offered to do check up on regular basis. The owner Fernanda is very attentive in all check ups. Definitely recommend this place!

We had such a great experience bringing our 6 year old daughter Ariel to the Oura Fine Jewellery and Piercings Studio - Fernanda was amazing. We had two piercers pierce Ariel's ears at the same time which was not painful for her. She picked these cute titanium crystal flower earrings with a flat backing (well designed so it does not make her uncomfortable or pokes her), and we are now almost 4 months after care and the earrings are perfect, my daughter's ears are great and healing well - no redness or infection as we followed Fernanda's excellent instructions. The Studio itself was very beautifully designed and you can tell they take great care in sanitizing equipment and providing a safe environment for the piercing. They are excellent with kids and we would highly recommend going there for your child's piercing.

Walked by this shop a few times and finally stepped after a friend decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. I was a bit undecisive in getting my ears pierced as I have some “ptsd” with prior piercings getting infected (and etc..). The owner walked me through it and they have an amazing selection of gorgeous pieces that are pretty affordable. Thor was great and went into detail all the steps, procedures and exactly what he was doing. They also suggest coming in if you happen to have any issues and etc. Really put my mind at ease and love my new piercings! Thanks guys

I recently got a double helix done at Ouro. Thor and Fernanda were friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to answer any questions I had. They both clearly take pride in their work, spending time to get to know my needs and finding what works best with my ear shape. Thor is the absolute man. He has done three piercings on me now and always puts his best work forward. Highly recommend a visit if you're keen on a new piercing.

I highly recommend Ouro! They are very friendly and professional and only carry high quality jewelries. They make sure that they sterilize EVERYTHING before you wear the pieces you purchase. I was there today for jewelry change and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of beautiful pieces and their standards of practice. I also felt comfortable going in during my appointment which was alloted only for me so that we can avoid contact with others (COVID). Although I was there for just the jewelry change, I will definitely go back for piercings and more beautiful jewelries they offer. Very very happy with such good customer service.

I got my daith pierced by Fernanda with a ring that was much too small for my ear to compensate for swelling. In less than 2 weeks, I developed severe hypertrophic scars on both sides of the jewelry and my ear absorbed the ring. I went to another piercer with over 20 years experience who told me that nobody should be pierced with such a small diameter. The diamonds embedded into the wound and made it an excruciating experience to have removed. Considering I spent such a large amount of money on the service and jewelry, I was hoping to receive a safe piece that I could have forever. I have many ear piercings that I take care of religiously and have never experienced an infection before. I guess paying more does not always mean superior service. I wanted to like this business so much, but I don't feel my safety or health mattered, they just wanted to sell me an expensive piece that happened to be way too small for my ear. Here is a picture when it was freshly pierced and less than 2 weeks later, so swollen and sore.

My 7 year old daughter had her first piercing done here based on a friend's recommendation. They do a consultation first and go over what happens and the aftercare and answered all her questions. We booked the next day for her piercing and they were kind enough to fit me in as well for a second lobe piercing. There was zero pressure to rush in picking jewellery and they were very helpful. During the piercing, Thor walked her through all the steps and made sure she was comfortable and that it was ok to stop at any time. I loved how she was included in the process. The piercing went well with no tears and she got the sweetest surprise gift at the end. Worth the drive to go here, highly recommend this place! Thanks for the amazing experience!

Highly recommend if you're looking for a piercing shop that is elegant, clean, welcoming and provides excellent service. I came to get my helix piercing hoop replaced. They have a great selection of fine, dainty jewelry (they carry Maria Tash!) To choose from. The entire experience was fantastic, everyone was super helpful and I will definitely be coming back for anything related to piercings.

I've never gotten any piercings here but I did go in to check out their jewelry selection. I was the annoying customer who wanted to book an appointment right before closing because I was in the area. Online booking was closed so I messaged them on Facebook and Fernanda was kind enough to squeeze me in last minute. She spent a lot of time explaining all the different jewelry pieces they offer and Thor (piercer) even came out to discuss what piercings would suite my ears. It was a very welcoming experience and when I am ready to purchase new jewelry or get a new piercing I will definitely visit them again.

Absolute best piercing! I got my first lobes for done I got titanium pieces. The told us about there cleaning policy even before COVID and I was very comforted. A very nice welcoming guy with many piercings pierced my ears. I wasn’t very nervous at all so that helped but he was making sure I new what was happening and that I would never be surprised. Loved it and when I get my next piercings I will go there again for sure!!!!!!!!!

This place is amazing! I came here with a botched ear piercing I got done somewhere else. My ear was hurting badly and I was nervous about anyone touching it. The piercer was super friendly and professional and quickly determined that I needed a longer bar for the piercing. She was very gentle with my ear and put me at ease. She changed the bar in no time and my ear has been healing nicely ever since. I would highly recommend Ouro for piercings.

Ouro Piercings has such a great collection of jewellery. If you are looking for a wide variety of dainty gold fine piercing jewellery, this is the place to go. Definitely the largest and best selection I've seen in a while. Fernanda and Thor were so amazing. I watched their pupil hall virtual trunk show (great idea during the pandemic) and was interested in a piece I saw on the show. I've been wanting a tragus piercing for a while however I haven't been going to check out places due to the pandemic. The trunk show was a great way for me to see what they had available and try and imagine it in the placement I wanted. The piece that caught my eye wasn't available on the website but Fernanda was so helpful taking pictures of different pieces on the model ear and would message me so that I could get a sense of what I liked. She was so helpful in making suggestions for what would be the best piece to fit with my other piercings. You can tell that she is very passionate about her work. Ouro was also very accommodating for my many requests and I really appreciated that. Thor was great through the whole process, checking placement and talking me through the piercing, overall making it a calm experience. Would definitely check them out again.

Got my lobes pierced here. Done professionally with good hygienic conditions. The piercer walked me through the process and my piercings came out great. They have a beautiful, wide selection of jewelry; simple, dainty and fancy. Something for everyone. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the jewelry. Will definitely be coming back here again and would recommend others to check this place out. Total cost was under $200 for piercing, jewelry and after care spray.

Thor was absolutely incredible - so gentle and calming and cares about his work and clients so much. He talked me out of getting multiple piercings on the same day because he was considerate of my immune system and healing and recommended I wait a bit. I appreciated that so much! He pierced both of my nipples and was so careful to make sure they were aligned. Everything went so smoothly - I haven't had piercings in like 30 years and this experience was better than I could have hoped and I'm so grateful!

I was hesitant to get my piercings done because there were reports about a man stalking women in the area. I wanted to bring a friend for safety but due to COVID restrictions, I couldn't. I expressed my concerns with Fernanda and she kindly offered to walk me from the skytrain to the studio. I got my tragus and helix pierced by Thor, who is a super kind and funny. He walked me through the steps and explained the process. I was feeling a bit woozy after the piercing and the team helped me settle down and treated me kindly.
