Very impressed with the staff. I went in for a simple tattoo idea and ended up really clicking with their tattoo artist Lucas. We ended up doing two tattoos that day instead of just the one and he blew me away. So much so that I went back the next day to get 3 more tattoos. 10/10 would recommend going to talk with Lucas about your next piece. Very professional and can hold a great conversation.

I got my nose pierced here. Their piercer is super nice and informative. She was very patient with my indecisiveness ????. Other staff at the front store area were also super friendly. Only small complaint was selection of piercings was quite limited but other than that good spot.

Great vibes and great artists. I've been getting tattoos done for 16 years and the one thing that stood out about this place was how down to earth the artists are. I've always respected artists' time anyway, but when I sheepishly asked if I could communicate over IG with my artist to show him some styles I liked he was more than happy to do that for me. As a result I got exactly what I wanted, and I've never had a better healing experience as I've had with this one. Going in next week for another piece!

I had wanted a tattoo for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger on it and get one. I had been suggested towards this place by a family member. I had never gotten a tattoo before and as i walked past everything other shop I felt super intimidated and had second thoughts. Once i saw the store on the outside I knew this was the place for me. It was not a big shop or appear big, but it looked homie. I walked in and instantly felt comfy with all the merchandise in the front of the store. I had felt like a tourist in my own city. The staff was super patient with me, i was super nervous and was not sure what to think. After realizing how long the healing process took, they suggested i get it done so i went in that day with a different artist who i had originally wanted but jimbow did a great job and he is such a down to earth cool guy. Really professional, polite, courteous. he also gave me some options before i was finished on some other ideas but i graciously declined as i was more then happy with what he had done already. So all in all for a first experience I think everyone at the shop did a fantastic job Thank you East Van Inc!

Good artists, kind easy going people. Great product. I honestly recommend all my friends and family to this shop. Nearly everyone I know I've taken here for a tattoo, cause they're that good. I've gotten tattoos from other shops but my favorite art are from here. 4/7 tattoos from this shop, and I will continue coming back! They're cloths are good quality, both adults and Children's. They're umbrellas withstand the Vancouver weather. The hats are great to, both fitted and snap back. I've recieved a piercing from here as well and it went well.

Decided to check out the merchandise at East Van Wear & Tattoo Co. and surprisingly enough they carry a lot more than I expected. Plenty of T-shirts Tanks hoodies and hats for the Men and for the ladies, Tanks and Leggings. They also had items like shorts bodysuits and knee high socks. They even had Tees & hoodies for kids. They have plenty or accessories like patches lighters jewellry pieces and keychains. Wether your a tourist or you grew up in East Van - this store will have you reppin' East Van in style.

My fiance and I Went as walk-ins yesterday looking for Kyle to East Van Tattoo shop. We met with Sydney gave her the ideas we had wanted to get done (overwhelmed her at first...So sorry girl!!) But she brought both our visions to life the same day when no one else in Vancouver could (and we tried to other shops) We are so amazed by what Sydney was able to create in such a short amount of time everything we asked for she gave us and more! Re- writing this. I love this place! I’ve been to a few different tattoo places and it’s not same!!! I always see Craig! He is amazing at his job ! And puts up with my whimpy self!!!! He is amazing artist and needs to charge more for his work!!!! All the artists seem amazing and very artistic!!!! The owner is also the sweetest guy as well! Just a great shop ! When you're looking for the "right" tattoo shop, you're always trying to find that right feel of a comfortable/welcoming environment and of course high quality and experienced artists who can bring your image to life. Clearly the outstanding reputation for the tattoos produced at East Van Inc. precedes itself, and as a first timer(to the shop, not tattoos) a sense of intimidation of course came over me, that lasted perhaps 2 seconds, until I was greeted warmly by every one there within my first steps into the shop. They were happy to take a good half hour out of there day to help me go over an idea, set up an appointment, and generally made it feel as comfortable and as pleasant as possible. An incredible shop, the most welcoming and pleasant place and people, and of course more importantly amazing sharp, crisp, perfect tattoos and quality. The shop could of been, arrogant, unwelcoming and grimy and I'd still probably come back just based solely on the quality of work produced, thankfully its not, which just puts this place over the top. I won't ever switch shops again, and this place is as welcoming and chill as your favorite bar or coffee shop.

Every time I've gone here for help with my piercings I've had an amazing experience with an experienced piercer. They know what they're talking about and are very helpful. They helped me out when my belly button wasn't healing and told me I just needed titanium ring for it. It healed up and has never bothered me again! Thank you!

I had Vickie as an artist. She did a big tattoo on my hip/leg. This tattoo was a post operation reclaiming that part of my body. Not only was Vickie supportive, she let me cry at times, kept me calm, took her time and stayed past the shop closing. I felt safe and not rushed. If you're getting post trauma work done, I HIGHLY recommend Vickie.

Called to ask to get a piercing done as online it says they do piercings. The lady over the phone today said we do not do piercings I said ok I'm new to Vancouver and was hoping u could help me then do u recommend any places as I cannot find a place??? She then basically told me to do my own f****** research and then hung up on me. Not a good first impression as I was going to go there anyway to buy east van apparel. Now that I work down here and support the dtes community I know now to steer clear of this place.

Just very professional, does really good work and gives a follow up oppointment, for 3 weeks after the tattoo to ensure it looks, just amazing and the skin has recovered as tattoos are a bit of a shock to the skin. But in time, about 2 or 3 weeks it recovers to 100%.

I've gotten all my tattoos at this place. The staff are so friendly. Rocco, the owner, set me up with a tattoo artist that he thought would best suit my artistic needs and he was right; I have had 4 more pieces done by that same artist. Not only is this my tattoo shop, but my hairdresser is on the bottom floor; Yumiko Hair. I've been going to her for about 4 years now. Always get a good cut and the price for hair colouring should be illegal for how cheap it is. Haha

I came in in early January to get my other ear lobe pierced. I wasn't immediately greeted upon entry, even at the cash register, but I wasn't in a hurry so that didn't bother me. Once I finished the paperwork, I was introduced to the piercer, Josh, who is a super cool dude. He was informative, careful, and made sure the piercings were even. I highly recommend giving Josh a visit.

I have gotten multiple tattoos here for many reasons, the staff is incredibly inviting and friendly, it has a real homey feel to it and you never feel like just another client. The artist I have chosen is Phil, he is very focused when working and takes care in what he is doing. They always have great music playing and the banter between the staff members is very amusing. Rocco, who I believe is the owner, makes a point to come and greet you and thank you for your business with a firm handshake and kind words. I do not plan to get any tattoos anywhere but here, an amazing spot!

I come all the way from Vancouver Island to have work done at this store ... specially the piercings she is super good and fast didn't hurt and when my divers fell out she coached me through healing and we re did them with dermals in same exact spot for a cost of course but she did an amazing job they haven't rejected and I haven't had issues with them super happy with her I will continue to travel to east van ink for my piercings and tattoos ♡ staff rock there love all there humor and attitudes great bunch of people feels like home when I go there ♡

Wanted to get something different for my family back in Ontario for Xmas. Picked up several items but later that day found something better at another store. Kept half of what I bought here and thought I could return the rest. At no point at point of sales or at cash desk it was mentioned it's FINAL SALE. When I made a trip back, the sales person told me she was afraid to make the transaction and that I must talk to the owner who only works on Wednesday and Fridays. So I call ahead on Wednesday wanting to speaking to him but he instead shouted over the phone of the policy. He didn't even speak to me. The last bite out of this horrible experience is that she then tells me that on the purchase receipt at the very bottom in 1 line = FINAL SALE. Boy do I feel duped! Merry Xmas 2016. Will think twice to seek out independents instead of chains.

Head piercer wouldn't do a piercing for me or sell it to me, because of a higher chance of infection. At first, I was frustrated.. but I then realized that this person cares more about about doing things right more than getting a quick dollar.. One word: Integrity. But he was a little douchy about it... XD

I urge and warn people who are wanting to get a piercing, or any similar procedure done to go elsewhere. I booked an appointment to have 2 dermal anchors removed, and when I arrived for my appointment, the staff did not acknowledge me, offer their help nor even do as much so as to greet me. When I finally met the piercer, she was dressed incredibly inappropriately, with more than 3/4 of her bra showing. Apprehensively, I entered the room downstairs. There is not even a sink in the room, she put her gloves on and then continued to touch everything else around her. She was not knowledgeable about anything to do with the dermals, she even referred to them as "microdermals"- meaning small skin, which is the completely incorrect term for the piercing. She pulled on my skin, and didn't seem to know how to approach the removal. I've had dermals easily removed before and I have had extensive amount of work done in this industry. I can confidently say that I would never reenter this shop, nor recommend it to anyone for their safety, as well as satisfaction with the work they decide to get done.

I did not get the exact tattoo that i wanted the artist was trying to do things in her own way but at the end had to made a kind of design i wanted after so many modifications. It still lacked few things. But overall a decent place but not the best, as they lack the artistic skills in way they do not understand what their client want. They are just playing around with their name. Not happy with their work and service.
