Super disappointed by the customer service presented at this shop. After reaching out through email- which I never got a reply from, I decided to go in person to talk about getting a tattoo for a friend and I. Immediately from walking into the shop the front desk employee was very unwelcoming. I have seen the shops Instagram and their beautiful array of talented artists and was hoping to get a good experience, I came in asking if anyone was available to do any tattooing either that day or through the next couple of days and the only answer I got was that they didn’t do walk-ins. My reply was how i was never contacted back and she basically gave me a dirty look and said ok? I thought the whole situation was rude and there was no inclination to set up an appointment with me even though their Instagram is posting daily that they have open spots available on that day exact day.

Great tattoos and environment but wish the staff at the front was a little more friendlier. for someone greeting guest they should be a bit more welcoming and friendlier. It's a tattoo shop not a Gucci store.

I had my sternum and rib done by Katie So (@ghostmeadow), and they're beautiful pieces that healed wonderfully. The sternum is not an easy place to tattoo for an artist (as the client needs to breathe, obviously) but Katie created a beautiful piece regardless. I did have to chicken out halfway through my rib tattoo as it was pretty painful but I love it how it is. My only thing was I felt a little embarrassed being topless as there's only a little privacy from other artists but that's just something you have to deal with! Thank you Katie!

Great shop. I traveled from Seattle to get a tattoo from Teagan. I am always a little hesitant meeting tattoo artist after some bad experiences, but Teagan and the rest of the people working in the shop were great. Thanks to everyone there for making it such a great experience

Such a dope lil place. Clean, stylish, and professional. I got a tattoo from Serein here and I'm over the moon about it! They did such an awesome job and it was fun conversation all throughout. We ended up staying after hours but Serein stayed to finish it all up for me anyways which I appreciated so so much. Thanks so much and good luck with the painting !! <3

I had an excellent experience with Olivia. She was professional and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect before we started the tattoo. The shop staff is professional and friendly. The shop its self is clean and well maintained. The needles used came out of a sealed package she opened in front of me and the gun was covered as well. Olivia's linework and attention to detail is great, and I am very satisfied with the results :)

Incredibly talented and friendly staff. Even if they don't have an artist doing something that you want/like in particular the constant addition of guest artists and selection of clothing, merchandise, stickers, and prints from locals makes repeat visits worth it even for people who aren't in it for the ink.

I'm sorry to have to write this review but I think it should be shared so others don't have the same experience. I had an appointment booked with Shannon Elliott (@paingardens on instagram). When you book your appointment you give a $100 deposit. I am a big fan of Shannon's art and was very excited to go in. The day of the appointment I was sick and stayed home from work. I called/emailed to let her know to see if there was any possibility of us rescheduling. Shannon is a great artist so I figured it could be possible she would have a cancellation list of people who may want to take a last minute appointment, and that way I could reschedule for a day when I was not sick. However, I made it VERY clear that I would still come in if my deposit being jeopardized in any way. Shannon responded to my email and stated she has to protect herself and does not want to get sick (totally fair), so she offered to reschedule my appt BUT said she would KEEP $50 of my deposit for my missed appt due to being sick and would return the other $50. I would have to put a new $100 deposit down to re-schedule for another day. I responded saying I would rather still come in and not lose any of my deposit. I offered to be mindful of spreading anything and to wear a medical mask for the appt. Shannon's response to this was very abrupt and rude, stating she was going to return the $50 and cancel my appt entirely. She re-directed me to review the cancellation policy states the deposit will be kept if the CLIENT cancels their appt day of. I did not cancel, but offered to reschedule as I thought that was the right thing to do when you're sick. I clearly stated I would still come in. Shannon was the one that cancelled the appt as she wanted to avoid getting sick, yet she also kept half of my deposit. I called the shop and the artists are independently contracted so this is not a negative review on anyone else at the shop. Just Shannon. This is bad business. Don't do her the courtesy of letting her know if you're sick because she will steal your money.

Went to Black Medicine for my brows. Jennie is absolutely amazing at what she does! She has a very fine eye for detail, is patient while creating the perfect brow for your face, and consulting you along the way. She is SUPER personable and really easy to talk to and get along with, which is awesome when someone is literally inking your face! I HIGHLY recommend Jennie if you are contemplating getting microblading.
