The mall itself was not open yesterday when I went yesterday. My child and I went to the optometrist, after getting drops in their eyes we had to wait 45 minutes, so we walked to the dollar store. On our way back to the optometrist we were stopped by security ( and he was very polite about it) and told were are not supposed to be walking back and forth through the mall. I apologized and hurried on our way.

The mall is going through a regrowth stage. With several stores closing due to covid they are working on renovations and adding more stores. Key stores include: Best buy Walmart Dollarama EB Games Urban Planet Mind Games American Eagle West 49 Bath and Body Works Just to name a few.

Went to the Tim's for breakfast and ordered a sausage farmers wrap and the lady had to ask what goes on it which isn't a big deal but she then proceeded to make me a farmers wrap with ROAST BEEF. In conclusion it was gross and way over sauced.

Northgate is super family friendly it's a one stop shop for all your needs. In winter time they well have a small train/kaboos with a conducter /ADULT operating for your children's SAFETY an drive all around Northgate at a very moderate slow speed . My children Adored it. The food court is never crouded can always find a place to sit with with a friendly atmosphere. If you cant keep up with your children lol, no worries there's a Tim Hortons near the food court. The have a 24 hr Surveillance camera system with aboveground parking WITH multiplel floors an every level has a evevator... AWESOME AWESOME PLACE TO VISIT AND SHOP I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK OUT.

Always have liked this Mall. Been shopping here since 1998 when we moved here. The grand opening banners celebrating the new Walmart were still up. I can find almost everything I need within the mall and connected stores. Only complaint is that It does need more seating throughout. Yes the Covid pandemic has changed so much of our lives and how we have to distance ourselves, wear a mask covering both mouth and nose and get Vaccinated before someone they know and love succumbs to this virus. That being said, this city still remains a college/University, outdoors travel location/ destination and retirement town. Us people over 55 need places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and People watching in a safe clean warm dry place to rest our weary bones. Given that Northgate has great businesses and great people/staff it's really a no brainer. Shop Here!! but please put the couches back would you? You could Provide a disinfectant spray like at the gym or even wipes. This is our new normal people

It was horrible. A friend and I went to buy so e toilet paper from Walmart. Now my friend called spoke to customer service and the female said a truck is coming in for 6pm today which the call was done Monday around 1pm. The manager of Walmart needs to know his employees are giving false information out when were on a toilet paper shortage.

As a Torontian, I never thought that I would ever shop in this mall because for a long time I did not believe that the merchants had anything to offer me. But there are a few places that I shop in this mall like Sears, LaGernier,Virgin pone and the jewelry merchants. But there are merchants in this mall that charged you to use your debit card and that bugs me so I hate going to this mall and if it were not for the above-mentioned store I would never set foot in that place

All around solid mall with lots of options for whatever you need, food court has plenty of options too as long as you're not too picky. Only thing I wish was better is the open and close times, currently the mall opens at 10am most days and closes at 8pm weekdays but at 6pm and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively, which in my opinion is terrible hours because most people are already at work by 9am and aren't even off of work until 5 or 6 anyway so how are they going to get shopping in?

Good parking mall is ok. Walmart however didn't appear to have anyone working. Spent 10 min trying to find an employee in the sports and hunting section. Finally gave up and didn't see any walmart employees from back of store till grocery and check out area. Just kept on going. There are other places to spend my money.

It's a mall... a mall that doesn't even let you charge your ebike... a mall that is falling behind in the times.... I was told I'm not only not allowed to charge my ebike there... but then I was left a nasty note in chalk around my ebike by staff saying that I can't park in their garage since its a fire hazard...wait what!?!?! They did get new strollers so that's cool.. but they made a bad choice to allow that animal riding store in the mall... I get run over all the time by those things... and have to stop because little kids cut me off or stop in front of me on a dime. It's a cool thing for kids to play on ... but why not give them a store to build a racetrack or something instead.

i ordered a fricken 5- piece chicken strip meal from a&w and they didn’t give me a meal, they charged me for a chicken AND a fry SEPERATELY !!!! and, the worst part of it all, they gave me FOUR CHICKEN STRIPS, not FIVE, f o u r. The entire service industry forgot what service is. Some stores are better than others. Funny enough, Best Buy was one of my best experiences. And because of that I spent a lot of money there. I think it was because it was a newer employee. He was eager to do well. Many other stores make me work harder to spend my money than they have to to take my money. And as such I just won't spend my money there. Clearly they have enough if they don't need mine.

If you would like to see a "Who's Who" of North Bay undesirables than look no further than Northgate. The smell of the mall is not helped by the hundreds of shoppers who dont appear to have bathed in the last few years. The mall is far to lenient on known law offenders to be seen as a safe space. If it wasnt for this being the only mall in town im sure it would have been closed long ago. Mall management apparently doesnt care about the upkeep of the mall or the image they project to the public. If you would like to grab a coffee and hang out with friends I doubt you will be able to find seating during the day as the mall is usually filled with regulars who dont appear to buy anything and just use the mall as a way to get out of the house (and occasionally make a rude gesture or comment towards woman) 2 Stars for being the only game in town

I love to shop locally . As for our Northgate shopping center it seriously needs some updated stores so most don't have to shop out of town but in most cases it leaves us no choice. I am very anoyed that you can not bring a shopping cart in the mall to help with your heavy items especially around the holidays. Not many people can walk around with t.v. sapped to there back Nd go in and out clothing stores to try clothes on its just a plane stupid rule. I promise you it has and it will stop me and many others from shopping at the mall... we need plus stores for women and big and tall shops for men! It's like north bay shopping has gaps of stores that we need and have here. That must change

My two favorite stores at the shopping centre are the 'Showcase store' (when it first opened it was called 'As seen on TV' you can pretty much guess what they have if you've ever suffered with insomnia and watched infomercials, they have a little bit of everything trending, yes their prices are a little bit higher then just ordering it yourself however, almost everything comes with some kind of a warranty and since they bought it they need to make a little money back to right?! Bought a hidden gems candle from there, came with a very nice ring, although charmed has then on fragrance, my next purchase from there is the charcoal toothpaste to see of that really works! My second favorite store is of course 'Dollarama' sometimes people get confused on they are really selling and to set the record straight no, they do not have expired food products on the or shelves, they may buy overstock from other stores, that might be more rare now because they now have their own line of different foods made specifically for their chain. Bought a loaf of bread from there once and it was the freshest and softest bread I've ever had, compared to homemade. The best isle in dollarama to me is the arts and crafts section, its a scrapbookers dream isle and here's a secret to scrapbooking, if you think you don't know how to scrapbook you do, if you can place pictures and fun shapes and jewels on paper you're a scrapbooking pro! I recently purchased an art book and some watercolor pencil crayons yes that's what I said, can't wait to try them out! Already have a some great ideas to try and draw and them paint over them with a water soaked brush to make it look better! I'll post pics to this post next time I'm at the mall

I went and did a big purchase this evening and the cashier was rough with my items and I had to stop the cashier, and ask him to be respectful and careful with the items I was purchasing.. he didn't like that and didn't even say I am sorry, he look mad after I spoke up to his actions. I understand that it isn't easy working at Walmart and the wages aren't that much. Not my fault, please be kind and be respectful to customers, has we do have hard days and good days also. Thank you

Mall is usually great, staff in some of the individual stores are terrible. Went to do some spring shoe shopping over the last few weeks. We went to Softmoc and I had picked out two pairs of shoes totalling nearly $200 and my wife was interested in some combat boots they had on special. She asked for her size and the guy working went to look. He came back and said he didn't have her size (which is fine. It was a clearance item,) but rather than offer assistance looking for something similar or even waiting for her follow up question about the boots that were not on special he walked away without another word and started chatting with a friend who was hanging out, totally ignoring us. Needless to say, I put back the shoes I had picked out and went elsewhere. I found identical shoes at Dawson Shoes where the staff was happy to help.

It has a large parking lot plus a parking structure. There is a large variety of stores inside. You can buy jewelry and get it engraved for your special someone. There's also plenty of kiosks set up with a good selection. There is plenty of mobile carriers available as well. Large food court. The Mall needs to be updated. With some new affordable stores. There isn't much left there. A lot of the good stores have closed down. The clothing stores that are there really don't have any nice clothes. Therefore we have to go away from here to shop. Would be nice to have them at home.

Nice mall with a number of well known shops. The food court is too small and does not offer much variety. Lack of signs to shops and washroom. Could do with more washroom. Loved that they have sitting areas in the corridors. Access to Walmart from the mall is a plus.

Ok, was a little annoyed on how to enter the mall especially if you have to use the washroom, I had to walk to the other side of the mall before I could go, surprised I didn't pee my pants.

Clean and well laid out, wide walkways make it comfortable to shop, even when busy. Parking is plentiful on all sides, but the midnight only snow clearing leaves for some snowy day nightmares. The food court has a reasonable selection of food varieties, and an interior Tim's is a welcome addition. The variety of shops for a mall of this size is somewhat limited though, which, let's face it, is the reason to go to a mall...all the above prior mentioned positives are just window dressing. There are at least 4 jewellery stores, two bath and body style stores, and several places to buy shoes. Too much repetition! A smattering of cheap to moderately priced clothing is added to by a few major anchors in Best Buy and Walmart. Thankfully there area few mom & pop type places to add a hint of differences. I juat think, given the geographic placement, lack of effective competition and population draw that this mall should be a bit more interesting. And really North Bay, shouldn't the theatre be here too! Why is it way down in Ferris!

If only there was a place to by cheep see-through clothing! Oh wait... All the stores have that. Ok, what makes this mall different from all other malls is that it has massage chairs yeah that's it, go to this mall for that reason only.

Northgate is basically the only mall in North Bay. With Sears closing shoppers are going leave town to shop. TACO BELL is moving into location..will become more than a restaurant. Slaughter house included. What!!

This mall has exactly what you're looking for -- so long as you're an octogenarian with more money than brains. The mall management obviously does not care about the well being or upkeep of the mall, as there are leaks all over the place. The only bastion of hope for this mall is due to the outstanding work of security, a true light in the otherwise eternal abyss of existence within North Bay, Ontario.

They don't want business from trucker's though which is a issue for me my husband does long haul does not leave garpage anyware on the ground or would not block any other vehicles as he is a true professional. Bad on them less money they can make not very smart business wise. We made a quick stop five minutes didn't see the sign and spent 54.00 dollars.

This mall has a good variety of stores. The place I like to visit is Booster Juice, located near the food court.

Every time I write a review for the mall it never gets posted. This mall is awful. The worst people in this town hang out here on a daily basis. Some of them even go as far as to hit on woman who walk by. Real Classy Who ever is in charge of this mall should be fired and replaced by people who have a clue.

It's ok for a small city like North Bay but it could still use more variety. I know it's not the Upper Canada in Newmarket but folks in smaller places still itch for variety and to see or even own unique or things not often seen in rural Canada or even in the smaller towns and city's without having to travel to a bigger venue or even worse!!!!!!!!!!! SHOP ONLINE!!!!
