I will never go anywhere else but here for a tattoo! James did the hourglass on my stomach and he also did my sleeve too (and I LOVE them both). Such an incredible environment FULL of intelligent, talented and all around awesome beings! Awesome pricing, you DEFINITELY get what you pay for! Their clothing is fresh to death! 5/5, DCS for life.

I have been getting tattoos from james at dead city for over a decade. Between james, evin, matt and the other staff, I have always had every question i have asked answered. Been treated with dignity during the most uncomfortable moments (elbow ditch). I have gotten a few other pieces elsewhere, but i'v never had that comfortable experience iv gotten at dead city time and time again.

Me and my husband went in for matching tattoos, we got three words on our arms and our initials on our fingers. We booked the appointment and paid a $100 deposit but covid happened and they had to move our appointment which was no problem but that ment they had an additional month. I sent the font I wanted to the artist and he said it was alittle early but he'd work on it closer to the date. A week before our appointment I got a message asking for the font again. Apparently I never sent it, I didn't argue I just sent it again. Anyways we get to our appointment and the artist still never worked on the font. We ended up spending an hour searching for the font and ended up picking a new font. Anyway we get the tattoos done and we were charged an extra $400 on top of our $100 deposit!!! So we ended up paying $500 for three words on our arm and an initial on our fingers and they were not organized or prepared. We were also told the $100 deposit would come off our total cost but when I messaged them later on remembering about the deposit they ignored me. I will not be returning here in the future, they are unorganized and over priced.

I've been to Dead City a few times now and every-time is a very welcoming, positive experience. James and his crew are super personable, it feels like you're visiting old friends. Not to mention, the tattoo work is of utmost quality. I've been getting tattooed by James and he is by far the best in North Bay, ask anyone! Exceptional quality and he is also very, very understanding if you need to make changes and so forth. I will keep coming back here and also recommend them to all my friends.

my sister and myself both got tattoo from there over 2 years ago, we were rushed in and rushed out, my tattoo is still raised and itchy and so is my sisters. I went back and the guy told me to put vitamine e on it and its still raised and itchy!! BAD TATTOO PARLOR unless you know the owners personally. I know some other people that have had tattoos from there and theres are not all that good either!!

Over the past two weeks, both my husband and I had the pleasure of getting our tattoos done by James Sroga at DeadCity. First of all, let me say that this was not my first tattoo by James, so I was well aware of his professionalism and his mastery of the business. I trusted James last year when my children were ready to get their first tattoos. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. James did a fabulous cover-up for me and it turned out to be my dream tattoo of a Great White Shark. Imagine walking around with a piece of art on your body...that’s how I feel. My husband wanted a half-sleeve done of a Viking image and James did not disappoint us with his creativity. We gave him a basic idea, but he worked his “magic” and that piece came to life. I would highly recommend James at Deadcity for many reasons: 1. Professionalism/Outstanding customer service 2. High standards 3. Very personable 4. Super accommodating 5. Above all: You will get the BEST tattoo you could ever imagine!

Ive had the privilege of spending many hours with James Sroga at Dead City Studios as he is working on my leg sleeve and most recently adding to and touching up my arm sleeve. James is always very outgoing and professional throughout the entire tattoo process and he always seems to squeeze me into his very busy schedule! James takes all of my vague tattoo ideas and runs with them, he never disappoints. Because James has done such an amazing job on my leg sleeve, I am constantly receiving compliments on the piece and always recommending people pay him a visit! As far as the rest of the staff goes, they are all very friendly and easy going as soon as you walk in the door! 10/10 !!

Talented artist but only choose when they want to use their talent. High prices and inconsiderate to the idea that its on your skin forever, more effort is needed. They don't realize every piece done could be a possible reference for somebody looking to get inked. Nobody wants to get inked by a bad artist.

The talent amongst ALL the artists is truly amazing!! Being an hour and half north of North Bay says enough- they are worth the travel. There's no where else I'd rather go, hands down!

It was my first tattoo and for someone whose not good with needles they really helped me through the process. I initially freaked out and they brought me a cold drink and some cold clothes and had me calm down before continuing! Will be getting my second piece done there soon! Great place
