Planning to get my second one soon ???? PS.This is now the second time I'm getting a tattoo from them After two years i came back to get my new piece. And i made the right decision. Sam and Edgar and the other people from ILC is the best. Especially Edgar and Sam. Ever since then i knew them both and they never change. All i can say is that Edgar is a good artist before you even tell him on what you want on your design he already knows it and he pays attention to all the little details which matters big.

I knew someone who had their tattoo done here before and they had a great experience so I decided to inquire for my first tattoo. Right from the start they were extremely professional, made me feel extremely comfortable and were so helpful with advice and tips throughout the process. They are extremely clean and eased my anxiety about making the plunge. Edgar did an incredible job with my tattoo and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! The whole experience was great and I will definitely get the rest of my tattoos here!

Initially, I came for a walk-in expecting to get Air Force 1’s from Brian Daka’s flash. He already did it for someone else, but he was more than willing to switch things up. I was mindblown by his creativity and skills just sketching out other ideas for me on the iPad! We ended up deciding on Jordan 1’s as the design (which I prefer over AF1s anyway) and I was pretty grateful for the suggestions and the short turnaround time to redesign it. Brian took his time to ensure I was comfortable and added some neat details during the session. The healing process has been great as well. I am leaning quite heavily to coming back for Brian shade in some colours to finish it off! I would highly recommend Brian from ILC to others!

I'm an exchange student from Belgium and I placed a terrible first tattoo in Belgium. I wanted to have it retouched. I had this done here and I can't be happier that I am now. It's really what I wanted now and I didn't expect that, because a tattoo is forever... But they reassure you, talk to you, ask you to play your personal music genre in the shop, or to watch Netflix while having your tattoo done. The artists who work here really know what they are doing. For my new tattoo I will definitely come here and everyone should do that! I came here on my first trip to Toronto from Vancouver and they treated me so well, as if I had been friends with the owner for years. The team members are all super respectful and seem to love working with each other. My artist was Juan Pablo (@iisolophilia_ink on instagram) and he did so well with both my tattoos. The images that I gave him were basically copy and pasted onto my body. I have gotten many tattoos before going here but I would travel from van to get another tattoo from him. Amazing work and great attitude from him and the whole team!!

It was such a pleasure to talk to Sam, he was extremely helpful and accommodating and fit me in on the same night I called, as I was only in the city for a few days. John was my artist and he very quickly captured the idea I had in my head- even better than I had imagined it! I went from having a great experience and wanting to go back for more tattoos to leaving feeling like I just got ripped off. Again and again I keep coming across artists who seem to care more about themselves and their art then the customer and what they want to get permanently put on them. I was quoted at 8 hours for $600-750 and it turned out to take only 2.5 and somehow still ended up at $600. Now this wouldn’t have been so bad if I wasn’t then quoted a lower price and then they changed their minds back to a higher price. I had had to ask multiple times about pricing and was never given a solid answer till the day before and then they changed it all some more. Also getting to see my design so I would be happy with it before the day of was not as easy as it should have been :( Edit, It is true the tattoo is beautiful, and I am happy with the way it came out, but I’m not so happy about the experience, which is also important and that includes pricing and the expectations set up and communication as well. Again, it was more the experience that was a disappointment then the money but that definitely impacted how I felt leaving. Especially when you’d said you thought it was going to be more tattoos and the artist said that she flat rated $150 an hour :/ that doesn’t make me feel better about the price of my tattoo.

Wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my Dad who had recently passed. The place I used to go to was out of business and I am so happy I found and chose Ink Living Color to do my tattoo!! Initially spoke to Sam who answered my questions on the phone and was able to book my appointment within a few days. John was my artist and he was awesome! My friends and I needed to adjust our appointment last minute because of work and Sam was professional and very accommodating. When we got there, we were looked after for immediately and the atmosphere was also great. Our artist was Juan Pablo, very kind and friendly. He did an excellent job with our tattoos, and made sure the pieces were identical (we got matching tattoos to celebrate our 10th year anniversary of friendship) and to its perfection. I just had my first experience at Ink Living Color Tattoo Studio and I couldn’t be happier or more impressed. Hands down, the best experience I’ve had. This year I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the NIX tattoo convention in Toronto where by chance I stumbled upon this talented and charming group of artists. The artists were quick to greet me and were enthusiastic about my tattoo ideas. Once the plans were set in stone the process of getting my next great piece of ink began. From start to finish I felt like I had been a valued client for years, despite only having just met them. The entire process was explained clear and concisely to me. The stenciling process was done with attention to detail. All health and safety procedures were adhered to. My artist (Vegas) was enthusiastic and engaged in helping me achieve my desired tattoo results. The rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and concerned about the comfort of myself and the guest with me. On top of phenomenal customer service, my tattoo piece was exactly what I wanted. Good clean lines, vibrant colors, and also achieved the spirit of what I wanted in the image. I keep looking at my ink and I'm loving it everytime! Also noteworthy: Hustle Butter. The staff at Ink Living Color strongly promote this post tattoo product and I am personally quite pleased with the quality of this product as well. In short, Ink Living Color is the packaged deal. This is going to be a lengthy but honest review. My name is James I had called in to get a tattoo by another location just down the street from ink living color. I called in prior and was told to come in around 3 check out the artist available on hand. When I got there I was not greeted or acknowledged in anyway. I waited 30 minutes for them to tell me come back another day as I was waiting my turn to go next. Another 20 minutes go by still no one came up to me or said anything. I called ink living color and was told someone is available named vlad come in and we can work something out. I sent what I wanted done and ubered to the location not even 5 minutes away. As I got there I was immediately greeted before I even entered the store my artist vlad had what i wanted sketched out and was awaiting my approval. We spent about half hour going over the specific details and started the tattoo. This level of professionalism is very rare and it goes a long way after I was basically neglected at the other location thank you guys for your amazing service and your hospitality I will be back with friends.

He called in an artist that had just left that he thought would be a good match and we started the process. He was RIGHT! Anisia absolutely nailed it. Honestly, I wish it was possible to rate my experience at Ink Living Color more than 5 stars. It was hands down the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Edgar custom designed a beautiful spine piece, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and the entire process from start to finish was amazing. I left that day with a tattoo on my back, and a grilled cheese in my stomach so I really don't know what more I could have asked for. I'm sure I'll be back again for my next one!

Such a great experience here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Getting a tattoo can be an intimidating experience but the staff here make you feel comfortable through out the whole process. The consultation with Sam was great he booked me into a chair as soon as possible. The artist did an amazing job designing the tattoo and actually doing it. The short version is that Edgar and Sam and Ink Living Color are bless as hell. I called them up relatively late the night before my session, super last minute, for two small tattoos, and Sam hooked me up with a walk-in appointment first thing the following day. He was hella helpful about making sure that I got hooked up before I had to go to work Edgar was the artist who worked on my arm, and he's one of the chillest artists I have ever worked with. Honestly had as much fun getting these tattoos as I did looking and feeling real pretty after. The dude is professional and kind and funny as hell, and his aftercare advice was helpful—especially as it pertained to my job So it was no surprise when the tattoo healed really well, even in spite of some unfortunate incidences at work The venue itself is well-organized, clean, wheelchair/disability accessible from the south entrance of the mall (via the street—not sure about if one were to walk through the tim horton's); the speakers are of good quality; and the subway is close by Just so I don't sound too biased, the bathroom deeper in the mall is single use (which is both good and bad, depending, I guess) I had a great experience here, and I for sure intend on going back

This was my 3rd tattoo experience, 1st time at this establishment. One word "EDGAR", talk about patience & creativity. Some people do it for the $, but this guy does what he loves clearly. You will always see a difference in the end result with a person who loves what they do. He kept working with me until I 110% loved the design. I appreciated that because some people get agitated or impatient, & I am very meticulous with the way things look. He was awesome, he definitely saw the vision. The environment, they allow you to play whatever music you want which I wish I'd took advantage of. My friend & I were their first customers post covid shutdown. The place was immaculate, edgar was completely covered looking like he going into surgery. Everything is cleaned & brand new. They even give you booties to wear. I'm very skeptical with cleanliness in an establishment, honestly had no problems or worries with safety here. All covid measures are in place. INK LIVING COLOUR is awesome I'll never go to anyone ever again. *quick note* so I overheard the owner on the phone with someone who wanted a last minute tattoo. They sounded persistent & rushed like they need to get it now or never. He was trying to explain to them although they do take last minute appointments if room permits, he added that a tatoo is permanment and not something you should rush into. I don't know the whole context of the convo but I am extremely impressed with his professionalism & realistic attitude. They really care here, most tat places would care less to ask or even think about someone's motives. If that doesn't speak about the dignity of this business I don't know what does. 5 stars.....
