I used to have my nose pierced by another piercer and the experience was definitely not the same as the one at the shop! I'm planning on returning for more piercings once Covid is over!!

I decided to stop by Steel N Ink after searching for some local shops, and I'm so glad I did! I was a walk-in and they got me in within the hour. I have been wanting a butterfly tattoo, for a while now, as a means to mark some pretty significant transformations in my life...my usual tattoo artist was not available but found out about Steen n Ink via google search. I called them and was easily put at ease by Hart, who told me that they had openings for walk-ins on Monday. After a very hectic day, I was warmly greeted by Aaron and Hart , who inmediatley took my design and worked into a feasible tattoo. Aaron explained how he would revise my initial design to reflect a tattoo that would be beautiful and easily reconizable, as well as, something I can continually add on to in the future. He took his time in developing the template...and was gentle during the whole 2 hour tattoing process; I felt very little discomfort as he was working on my butterfly arm band. Hart and Aaron are both amazing professionals; I felt safe and respected durinf my whole experience. The end result....an amazing butterfly arm band that I am already getting compliants on by complete strangers! I am recommended them to my friends and family, as well as strangers, to go to Steel N Ink for their tattoos and piercings. I am looking forward to have Aaron continue adding to my butterfly tattoo. Absolutely worth the drive to see them in Niagara Falls!

I recently had gotten my septum pierced at this location and the septum jewelry I was given for my piercing is WAY too small. I am new to piercings so I wasn't too concerned until I could barely move my mouth because of the pain. I couldn't even wrap my lips around a straw because the movement of my lip would tug on the piercing. The balls barely peaked out of my nose and you can't even tell I had gotten my septum pierced looking straight at me. It felt like my septum was being crushed by the jewelry and it felt so tight overall. My sister has many piercings and she noticed something was wrong so we called another piercing shop that she has gone to and the woman who pierces there said the best option is to take out the piercing and wait for it to heal before going to get the piercing re-done. I am insanely disappointed and frustrated since I haven't even had the piercing for over 48 hours. I would definitely recommend to steer clear from this shop if you are looking to get any part of your body pierced.

I can't say enough how professional the artists were. Went around to several spots in the area ( because as a tourist I did not have any clue who to go to ) and wasn't very impressed. These guys know their stuff. Very friendly. Interested in my business. If you're a tourist and you want to save yourself the disappointment and frustration of searching around .......come here. Nikki was my tattoo artist and I could not have been happier. In fact seeing mine convinced my brother to get his first tattoo the next night. If there was 100 stars she would deserve it. Although I didn't get any work from him, his work that I saw was great.

Great place!! I have gotten tattooed by both artists at this Niagara location, Aaron and Nikki. Both are very funny, professional, and put you at ease during the whole process. Even Hart, who deals with the piercing, and front desk duties provides a great deal of entertainment while you are there. Been there 3 times, extremely happy with my tattoos and the service, and will definitely continue going to this location.

Ripped off and Horrible experience went in to get a rose tattoo on my chest to commemorate my mother I was told it would cost upwards of $600 the guy threw it together on his tablet in about 5 minutes I gave him $100 deposit he said that he would work on it and get back to me when he was finished 4 weeks later he sent me the same picture he made in 10 minutes and told me he was ready I asked him to elongate please and add a few thorns he said he would and get back to me he never ended up getting back to me at all that was about five months ago I feel ripped off for the $100 I would not recommend the shop to anybody overpriced horrible service unless you like getting ripped off

Great work with little prep time. I came in with a printout from a heart monitor to get my dads heartbeat tattooed on my wrist while he was preparing for major heart surgery and the artist was quick, clean and accommodating. He fit it to size and was sure I was happy before starting. Although It wasn’t a large piece, he took the time to make sure it was right and I was happy. Me and my gf came to Niagara Falls for one night late last month...we had an idea of a tattoo we wanted to get each. We called this place and told them what we wanted and if they could get us in quickly since we're only here for 1 night. They were very accommodating in making this happen. We showed up for 4pm like asked and started to get to work. The artist that gave us our tats was really cool and easy to talk to. The other guy was also very friendly. I was waiting for our tats to heal up to write the review. They're nothing huge hut turned out great. I highly recommend this place if looking to get a tattoo here in Niagara Falls. The price wasn't to bad either. Pretty much what we expected to pay. Job well done my these guys. ????

I had written a longer review here earlier but perhaps it didn't get through processing- in short though, piercing was quick and painless, but piercer was somewhat awkward and assumed that I was questioning his skill. I was just making conversation about the methods of the piercing and he got very defensive. I felt comfortable until he got defensive, but it was fine in the end. From the beginning, both person at counter and piercer seemed stand-offish. But, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were having a bad day.

Walked in for the very first time, and my last time. Extremely expensive just for a little tattoo the tattooist said something around $300. So I went to different tattoo place with good ratings on 2nd tattoo place $90 no tax and I’m more than satisfied with the tattoo left him a $20 tip. They all laughed and said that I was lucky enough to walk out and didn’t pay up and fork off $300.

Be prepared to pay $20-$35 for parking as there is no short term parking nearby. Also be prepared for the PPE fee of $10 plus tax, which doesn't make much sense as this industry had always been required to sanitize and wear gloves. Yes masks are an additional expense, but you can geta box of 50 for $20, which are better protection than the fabric one my artist was wearing. I couldn't figure out how to respond, but let's do some simple math. 9 clients a day works out to $2,160 a month in PPE fees. My small business sees more than 400 clients a month, we have to use MEDICAL grade masks, gloves, and finger cots as well as health Canada approved hand sanitizer and disinfectant. We average less than $200 a month to supply all these required items for our office AND our clients if need be. PPE has become MORE widely avaliable and costs less than it did a year ago. If you still feel the need to charge this fee despite your prices being on the higher side for the area, maybe you should DISCLOSE this fee at the time of booking and not make it a surprise when customers go to pay.

I took my 2 daughters here for a nose piercing. I called 2 times to make sure the price. I asked to see the nose rings. He brought me the most expensive one n said this one is 20 more. Never did hart mention it was 60 each on top of the 50. Never said there was a ppe charge or that there was a charge for the needle none of that. For 2 nose piercing it cost me 250 +. That un heard of. When i called to discuss these extra charges i wasn't aware of after asking a few times hart just said there's nothing he can do. I work in a salon. And NEVER would i start a process without the client knowing all charges. Very unprofessional very disappointed. Prices should be shown b4 getting anything done. So this doesnt happen.

update: Nikki did tattoos for my friend and I, they look absolutely stunning, the detail is incredible, I will definitely be coming back for more... My girlfriend and I got some piercings a few months ago, kindly welcomed when walking in the door, great staff to talk to followed by some very well done piercings. Also was very knowledgeable about after care and making sure we understood how to take care of our piercings for best results. Told my boyfriend his nose piercing would be 60$ Plus tax and ended up paying over 100$ for a simple nose ring. Absolutely ludicrous and I truly wish I was there to tell him to walk away from such a horrible price. Just because you’re in a tourist district does NOT mean to get to rip people off. Especially those new to the body modification scene. Shame on the piercer and the business.

I booked an appointment to have my daughters nose pierced and when we got there they said they couldn't do it because of covid restrictions of not being able to take the mask off. OK fine but YOU COULD HAVE CALLED to let us know! Not once did the person apologize! Ya know, it would have been nice if someone had said we are so sorry we didn't call to reschedule your appointment, we should have and sorry for your inconvenience. Not professional!! (the main reason this was a big deal for us was it was my daughters birthday and we were vacationing in Niagara Falls and this was our one treat as everything else was closed. Not like I live down the street and could just come back later)

I found this location online. Not having an appointment made, I called to see if they could accommodate a walk-in, which they said they could. They had great phone etiquette and invited me to come by. When I arrived, they looked at my samples of what I wanted and said “no problem” . Aaron was the artist I worked with. He used modern technology to scale the images and edit the pictures so he would have a template to work with. When Aaron was preparing the instruments he made a point of showing me that his equipment is sterile and within an expiration date. Through the process all three employees were willing to engage in conversation. This might not seem like a big deal, but for me it made the atmosphere much more relaxing. With having previous experiences in other tattoo parlours, I felt the team at Steel N Ink provided an excellent service. The artwork I wanted was fairly simple, but my final observation was having this completed for a very reasonable cost (compared to what was expecting). I’ve dealt with other tattoo artists, and I’ve found that at times they can be arrogant, “put out” and booking weeks/months ahead. Steel N Ink was NOT that. Keep up the good work Aaron & team! I was on vacation visiting the falls and stopped in here for my second tattoo. Was looking for a very small tattoo on my chest and was told it would be over 200$. Went to get another opinion, stopped into Hart and Huntington and they would do it for 125$ and could get me right in. They were right down the road. This place is very small and doesn’t seem like a typical tattoo place. Would not recommend.

I had taken my best friend to this place, excited for her to get her first piercing. i had recommended this place because of my own experience here which was pretty positive. i was extremely disappointed with how my friend was taken care of for her septum piercing though. i am in no way a professional, but i do have my own septum pierced,(as well as many other things) and i could tell something was off as nothing was felt for, a clamp was simply placed on and a needle stuck through. her piercing can barely even be seen. she is in too much pain to even open ur mouth because it tugs when she tries to talk. now the piercing must be taken out and healed before it is repierced at a different, hopefully more reliable shop. but that is still 60 something dollars plus a tip that’s been thrown away. i’m very disappointed and won’t be bringing myself or anyone else back. I’m really hoping someone can get in contact with her to at least get some of her money back.
