Cool place with an amazing unique atmosphere. We had a variety of food and was all very tasty. A little pricey but worth doing at least once. The menu and food won't disappoint. Had to wait about 20 min, but was on a busy summer Thursday night

Jocelyn Blair

Wow Rainforest Cafe has really stepped up on the outdoor experience. Our waiter Keegen.

Ayauran C.P. (Aya / Lina)

Good food. Server very friendly. They forgot to take something off my vegetarian burger and immediately had 2 managers come over to apologize. Gave me 20% off my meal and I didn't even mention it to them. Waitress noticed. Great service

Steve Kaklamanos

Gift shop was alright, most things overpriced but managed to find a nice geode to take home. Didn't eat at the restaurant.

Victor Barros Costa

I love the Rainforest cafe..Ive gone to the one in Ac numerous times over the years, but the one in Canada was cool as well..They just need a bit more options on their menu but the atmosphere is lovely

Jamal

Service was fast, food was hot but didn't really taste great. Rasta Pasta was watery and tasted bland

Jessica S

My family had a blast there, just be prepared for a very expensive bill. Most items are 24bucks and up , but the experience was worth it. Also the food was average at best, tasted like left overs to be honest. The environment and friendly staff makes up for it, will visit again

Tim Gill

We went to the restaurant in a group of 7 people. We waited a lot for the food come, and one of the plates was missed. Moreover, one of plates that we ordered should come with fries, and it came cold. Another disappointed of the night was that the restaurant doesn't have Wi-Fi. In conclusion, I don't recommend this place to have a dinner.

Loved the atmosphere. Great place for kids.

This place got 3 stars just because the manager I spoke to was pleasant and so was our waiter (and the shrimp tacos ????) and decor was cool… other than that, this place is a joke ☹️. Waited for 45mns to be seated (understandable with Covid, no problem), finally got in and waiting for someone to walk us to our table and this waiter totally ignored us and walked straight to the family behind us like we didn’t exist ????. Fine, she apologized and got us to our table. Guess what, we sat down for almost 30mns no one came to acknowledge us or take our order! At that point I lost it and asked for the manager. Kids pasta was like canned pasta ????, my kid left it there disappointed. Honestly, it was disappointment/frustration after the other. I regretted our decision to eat there. I’m still even wondering why I left a 25% tip ????????. Not going back, there are many other places better than this one.

Do not come here for the food or you will be sadly disappointed. Came here for the nostalgia as it’s one of my best childhood memories. The atmosphere is great, but can be pretty loud. Our server was great and very helpful but unfortunately the food was really bad. I ordered a poutine and it was drenched in cheap gravy, chicken Caesar salad was underwhelming, and the e got the burgers from the kids menu for our little guy and they were inedible. It was way overpriced to too it all off.

Israa Hilles

We always eat here everytime we go to Niagara falls. The food is great reasonable price ????

Laiyee Reters

Great environment for families with young kids - or just about anyone! The menu has a variety of dishes to offer, and the moving animatronics will keep you entertained. This restaurant has strict (but reasonable) Covid-19 safety measures in place, eg tables 2 metres apart, patrons must wear a mask if going to washroom, all employees were swearing masks at all times, they sanitize the tables, etc. - so my family felt safe at all times. Faster service and lower prices (eg 2 dishes and 2 drinks will cost about $75) could earn the Rainforest Cafe a perfect rating. Overall, this is a good place to stop by if you’re hungry.

Daniel Escott

I did not enjoy the meal here very much. I just feel like the food was just defrosted and then put into an oven to warm up. The ribs felt like it was the same one your can buy in your local Walmart for 20 bucks (was 40 dollars). Nice atmosphere and they treated us well.

Maninder Bindra

A little overpriced for what you get. With covid the experience isn't the greatest. I would only recommend coming to this place once the pandemic is over.

mi canolli

Great food, slightly slow service, but the aquarium and food quality make up for it. Our daughter also loves it!

MegaMan X

Awesome Margaritas!... Food not too good for me. I got salmon with vegetables and Mexican Rice. The rice was hard and dry. My son had a veggan burger, that was better. $$$$ be ready for it.

What an epic disaster. We arrived when they were opening and were told we would be waiting 25 minutes. I said no problem, gave my name and details, and we were told we could sit at the bar. We had a drink each, but time continued to pass. (By the way, the single star given goes to the friendly bartender who tried to alleviate the stress of the wait.) My husband and I were so excited to visit -- him especially, he'd never been and was so delighted to be able to go on this special occasion. But after 45 minutes passed and we were sitting at the bar, I noticed that people who were behind us in line with larger parties were getting seated. And they were handing out little reminder tablets that we never received. I went back up to the front and asked what our wait time was. It was clear they had forgotten about us and seated us immediately. We then sat for another 15 minutes and watched all the tables around us (half of which were seated after us) receive their drinks. My husband was surprised; I just wanted to leave. He got upset as a server asked us if anyone had helped us. The staff had glanced our way but never approached until we stood up to leave. The server said she would get the manager. Guess what? We waited two minutes and the manager never came out. We left. We won't be back.

LazySpacetater

Nice ambiance but it's kind of overpriced for what the food offer.

Dr Manasa

Great food and a great experience!

Gibsons Pure honey

over pricey for average food and they should take care for customer's order, no customer service at all.

Kurt K

Nice place to go. I really enjoyed the theme. The food wasn't that great to be honest but still I enjoyed going there. Our server was super nice and funny. If you love animals and nature theme. This is a neat place to go.

Dan John

Truly good. Food was good. Services were good. Children enjoy the most. Everything has been planned, maintained beautifully. Must go place while visiting Niagara Falls from Canada side. Enjoyed a lot

Alexandria Sadler

Everything was pretty tasty nothing exotic but not expensive as far as Clifton Hill goes. The service was prompt and the decor was awesome for the kids. Definitely a must if you've never been.

Only a good place to take kids or to experience Rainforest for the first time. Food is alright but expensive but the drinks looked great. There's other good restaurants in the area that would be better for the food and the price you pay

JDOGGtheREAPER w

Atmosphere great for kids and adults. Drinks also delicious food is average but your probably not going here for food alone

Alejandro Rodriguez

Any restaurant that's gonna send an employee home for wearing extra protective equipment (a face shield) with their mask, at this time, deserves a low mark -- I don't care what the food is like. The more protective equipment I see at restaurants, the more I appreciate that they're setting their employees at ease, as well as their customers. Customers appreciate everything you can do to keep people safe, and it makes them more inclined to come. If the wait staff is going the extra mile, it makes me feel confident that the kitchen is as well. Thumbs up for the worker and a scolding for the management.

Michael Derwin

Very disappointed! Pathetic service, save ur self money and choose a better spot for ur kids.

Keven

Host talk too much while I'm being seated. The kids aren't interested in what the hosts have to say. Lovely place to go to though

Jade A

Nice settings. Food is ok. We had ordered 3 meals but one was not good. What impressed me was the staff and the manager who came to apologize and tried to make it right. For that reason i will for sure going back

Yash Savla

Our family really enjoyed time at Rainforest cafe! Service was great ????????????best place at Niagara to have dinner with kids. Lots of fun. Server made our dinner very memorable. Food was delicious. Thank you! I hope we will be back soon ????????????

Zophi Michaels

We enjoyed our lunch here. Yes, it’s expensive (the burger is $23), but we expected that going in as everything is expensive here. The kids enjoyed the scenery and the thunder/lightening effects. We thought the food was good - except the kids mixed fruit “salad” was just a handful of grapes on a plate. We would come here again regardless. Staff was great!

Travis Barill

It was my first time and with a 1.5hrs wait for a table, I was seated at the bar immediately. It was my lucky day. The view was great, the bartender was very friendly and the food was awesome. I ordered the salmon on a bed of rice and veggies. Cooked to perfection. Thank you for the lovely time.

Excellent time at Rainforest Cafe and was worth the wait. Food was fresh & great portions. Our server was also excellent and deserves a raise, we forgot his name but he was an Indian man with a cool "OM" tattoo on his arm. Excited to come here again one day.

Cool atmosphere. Food is mediocre. Burger: McDonald's is better, or the burger King or Wendy's across the road would be 100x the burger. It was bland, no seasoning, mine came with a whole slice of onion and soggy lettuce. Fries: not bad, I'd eat it again Kids pizza: rather have got them pizza pizza instead. Tacos: bland as well, not much flavor and rather taco bell. In all... I would not return for dining, ever... id rather eat fast food instead of eating here again...its horrible. Service was great. I did mention that the food was mediocre and she was nice and tipped well for her service.

Sylvain Bedard (Gauntmanz)

Following a strict covid19 SOPs which is very good and makes you satisfied. Sad to see the place empty. Felt painful on paying $26.99 just for the meatless nachos , tsk tsk. They should add another animal corner besides elephants and gorillas.

Melissa Nettleton

Great food and the steak was absolutely perfect. This restaurant may overwhelm young children (5 and younger) and those with autism. It's sensory overload but is also a wonderful experience. Our server was either slow or overwhelmed (not sure which) but everything else was good.

Great place for kids but food is not the best. I wish the food could be as good as the looks of the place. I still recommend as a different experience.

Maged Kodsy

Pick up your game RF people!!! If you’re charging me 27$$ +tax for a double cheeseburger I expect it to be flawless. It was far from it. The food was served cold. The fried were salty and saggy. None of my 2 kids finished their Mac’ and cheese.... and that tells you a lot on how bad it was ...I mean what kid doesn’t finish m&c. 2 stars are because the atmosphere and decor.

Gabriel Dale-Hill

Food was meh (which was expected), but tbh it was too expensive for what you are getting. Then again you don't really come here for the food right so... it was a decent experience nonetheless.

Great food and service. We had Keagan as our server and he provided the best service to my family and to all of his tables. He also has great recommendations for drinks. I was very surprised at how delicious all the food is. I've had the rasta pasta before, but it was really well done this time around. All of our food was made so quickly too. This restaurant was very clean and organized. I felt very comfortable and safe dining here. Big thank you to the team at Rainforest Cafe Niagara Falls for taking great care of my family during our visit.

This place is good for the atmosphere. Absolutely amazing and my son loves it. Food is decent. Service is very slow due to this place being very busy. There's a 20 min wait to get table then about 45 min to get food after ordering. Lots of great photo opportunities with different interactive artificial animals.

Allen White

Great place for family. Very clean and food was excellent.

Jaya Classen

The design is very good a d interesting for children. We were there a coulle years ago and it was 5 stars, however today personnel is changed and they are not professionals at all, Ive seen people were arguing with them for some reason, for me service was not good, long wait to get served, they kept forgetting to bring something, so this time our experience was pretty bad.

Reanna Potz

Really like the rainforest theme in winter time. Feel warm and cozy. Food was good.

Gary Burke

Busy place all year around and all the time!! Great place for kids and family with some unique attractions of bird show, large tank aquarium and typical thunder storm as other similar franchise restaurant. The service is fast and servers are great! Convenient location very near to the falls and has a side entrance for Sheraton hotel if you are staying there.

Elizabeth King

Sat in an almost empty restaurant for over 15 minutes without someone even taking our drink order. my table got up and left. I would have understood if it was busy, but there couldn't have been more than 9 tables seated. Disappointing.

Andrea McCoy

Customer service at front counter is cold rude indifferent. The woman turned her back on me when I asked a question. They want you wait on site for 1.5 hours with nowhere to sit and wait. You can't leave and come back. Young man at front was patient answering questions eventually making things clear. Staff seemed rushed unwelcoming almost wanting people to give up waiting and leave. Monday aug 16th 145pm

Shyanne Trudel

4 stars for the decoration and food but 1 star for the lady at the front desk. No greetings and no smile. She looks really unhappy.

marty muir

90min wait for a table as they're not taking reservations. Extremely overpriced food and beverages for what it is. Dark, dusty and dirty ... The eating part of the restaurant really needs an overhaul to bring it up to other Rainforest Cafes standards. After being to R.C's in Florida and California, this one really fell short of previous experiences.

Raphael Shalom Ramirez

Dec, 21'. Food and everything was awesome, so good.

Chelsea Iheme-Hall

I haven’t been to the rainforest cafe in years and went to the Yorkdale location so this one was new to me. We took our 6 kids on a Sunday afternoon and luckily had no wait time to be seated. There is an arcade right outside of the wait area though which is helpful to keep kids entertained in case of a wait. Once inside of course the vibe is super cool & there are fish, electronic animals, a rainstorm every half hour it’s fun for the kids. However you have to keep in mind that this is Clifton Hill, it’s a tourist spot and most places are tourist traps…this is no different. The prices were a high for adult meals & drinks as expected and I felt that they had shady practices like drastically increasing the preset tip amounts & talking to you while you use the machine so you just click your way through and don’t notice or change them, not mentioning the process behind you getting your free cups & once again talking to you so you forget. She literally froze in time when I asked how I would get my cup & then said hehehe I guess I was talking so much I forgot to mention it but I quietly observed her do this to every other table lol. Maybe this was just our waiter I’m not sure ????????‍♀️ Again, the kids loved it!! Their meals were good. But it’s not a place to pick if you’re looking to be cost effective or have a high quality dining experience! Fun once in a blue moon experience.

j m

Very pleasant experience. So beautiful, interesting and engaging just like I remember from my childhood. Everywhere you turn there is something new to discover. The service was just great. Joan was super attentive, friendly and accommodating. Brittney (I believe that was the hostesses name) gave us the inside scoop about the fish tank and that was so cool. Glad to see the fish are being taken care of. Customer service was 100%. Food was good too... much better than what I had years before at the other locations. Expensive but everything on Clifton Hill is. The restaurant was well prepared for COVID measurements but washrooms definitely need a lot more attention to cleanliness.

Andrew Geddes

Great place in the heart of Niagara! Must visit for kids. You’ll have great food and the kids will enjoy the moving animals and the Thunderstorms.

Lidarly Fraga

Walked in and heard it was a 30 minute wait and Walked out. Will check it out another time.

Chris Careswell

Dreadful organisation. Spent 45 minutes in a queue only to be told that it would be a further one hour to 75 minutes wait. Why not inform those waiting of what they can expect rather than allowing them to queue? Wednesday evening also. Shocking

This place is a joke! I was out celebrating my daughters birthday from out of town. Before we sat down we asked for a better seat as we drove 5.5hrs for the experience. We were told the tables were pre-assigned. Did not make a fuss we sat down. We were not given water until after we ordered. 1 star for how fast the food came and the scenery from a far. The food quality was lacking for the price point. The blue mountain sandwich was so dry and salty not edible. The kids pizza is not pizza it’s pita bread with crushed tomatoes and cold cheese. I would not classify this as pizza. The best part was the birthday girl got sick 3/4 into her pizza. We left in a rush to bring the child back upstairs. Best part was when i pointed the food quality to the manager he got so defensive about how recipes are corporate. After I told him I don’t want anything I already paid 80 bucks into the garbage. He said he would tell the chef. Read the reviews and take in the photos. Enter at your own risk!

Mystik Gaming

Taste wasn’t too bad, our server forgot to provide us a drink menu and also utensils until we asked him to bring so we could eat,, we asked him to substitute a menu and we decided not to, and our burger was missing fried onion rings and flavour.. BUT fun to visit once, if u have small children to see interesting interior:-)

Paula Place

Won't comment on the food because we didn't eat. We were a group of 11 and were told it would be a wait of 1:15 minutes. We waited 90 minutes which is completely fine. Our issue is the restaurant was at roughly 30% capacity. When we asked why the delay when the restaurant was empty none of the 4 members at the front desk said a word.

Hyper Edge Inc

Awesome atmosphere and food A bit pricey tho

Paulo Dal Porto

I'm only giving a 2 star due to the decor. 0 stars for the food. More than half hour wait for food. Honestly though if you want to spend $23 on a burger go to Burger King and get combos there, they actually taste better too.

John D

Great place for kids to eat in African rainforest ambiance

Adrian Nizio

Came back to niagara falls for my honeymoon went right to the restaurant. was excited but so much has changed overpriced by a mile I can get a 25oz steak for cheaper then what they have there whole menu priced at hopefully next time I come back to the falls its back to a normal affordable price.

Kashnkween

Overpriced food, but cool decor. Disgusting washrooms. Great staff. 1hr wait to get a table at 5pm on a Sunday. Glad we checked it out, but won't be going back.

scenicroute dVal

We had a wonderful time here! Great for the whole family!

Elaine Misson

The atmosphere is great for children. My son loves it. That’s what you pay for. A hot dog and fries for him with an alligator glass with slushy came to $23 before tax. I got the Chicken Parmesan and it was so very bland. Tasted boiled. Very little flavour. What they called linguine with the chicken was noodles in basically watery stewed tomatoes. The pasta was terrible. All in with top $76 for me and a 5 year old. Come for the atmosphere, don’t expect much from the food.

Great place to take your kids. Service was really good and so was the food

Claire Sheeres

Just went here with my kids. Rainforest burger was dry, the fries were too hard. It all tasted like it was microwaved. I don't know who is the cook, but they need to change the recipes. Absolute disgrace to the kids restaurant industry.

Eric Yang

Got here didnt take out names down nor give us a beeper half an hour later went up and they didnt even write our names down. They then served 4 other people prior to us. Making our wait from 30mins to an hour 30 terrible customer service at the front.

Felipe Noronha

Dismal location in a very touristy area of Niagara Falls. Waited for some time to be seated, order took almost an hour to get to us. If you're like us you'll likely be bringing family or friends to this area, and will probably be looking for a place to eat after seeing the falls, avoid this place. Service and food is sub par and not worth the ridiculous prices they charge. The novelty of the so called fake rainforest that they create inside the restaurant wears off fast.

S Cope

Decent food. Amazing experience for the kids. Pricey but worth a visit.

Amin M

The food wasn't the greatest. The atmosphere is great though specially if you have small children.

Julissa De La Cruz

The service was good. Variety for the kids was great, not so much for adults. The price was on the high end.

Lost

Entertainment value is great, good place for your young children, lots of distractions for them. Food is ok, but generic, carbs and meat. In the pricy side.

Dave n melissa Ivanore

Get your wallet out! Fun time, great atmosphere, cool animals and animations! Great vibe, expensive food and drinks but you pay for the experience! Big fish tank with colourful fish, a shark, and an eel!

Ringo Chan

Rainforest Café is a beautifully created café. It is inspired from the famous rainforest café in New York. This Café is located in Niagara falls on Clifton hill. I had a nice experience at this place I enjoyed the food and the setup. The only sad part is that most of the time the animals put on the walls don't even work. overall this café is fun as like the city Niagara falls.

Luke Y

My family and I ate at the rainforest Cafe last night with our 5 year old son and had a great time. Our server was George and he had a trainee with him, George was the best server we've ever had anywhere. He made our visit lots of fun and he was very informative and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks!

Annie L

Very expensive, not good tasting food, service was meh

TRUNG BUI

It was over priced for very mediocre bland food. The service was great the only reason my it reached a 3 star instead of 1 star.

Chris Splane

Best nachos EVER!! We Split the nachos with the kids they're amazing kids loved the place. Very Covid friendly we scanned at the front door for the menu to our phone before being seated and if you never been before you must try

Calvin Wu

Used to come here all the time as a kid with my family, now it's the last one in the world! Hope you guys can stay in business so my future kids get to experience the wonder of the rainforest cafe

Joseph-Romuald Felix

Go for what's there so lids can enjoy. At best the food average. My burger was burnt and cold. But the pasta was large and hot. Children's menu is so so..it all looked and tasted like the bargain brand frozen food section fish fingers, nuggets etc.. they get 3 stars as kids love the animatronic animals especially the gorilla. The python hanging from the trees was the least favorite

Arvin

Kids loved it, along with their meals... They really enjoyed themselves!

Great place to visit while in Canada! The food was awesome and the service was great!

Zsolt Moczo (Tesztalany)

We could not get a table in the area we wanted even though we were asked to wait for 40 minutes with half the restaurant empty (they gave us a table in the area that they could have seated us immediately upon arrival). The food is outrageously bad for the price.

Kiki

Had a great experience with our family here. My daughter enjoyed all the sights and sounds. Cheese steak sandwich was better than expected! We will be back

James Kennedy

Always love stopping in and having a drink or 3 at the bar. If you ever wanted to see folks hustle at work, check out their bartenders. They never STOP!

Stephani Lukachinsky

5 stars for atmosphere and friendly staff but 3 stars for food. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either. Easily something I could have made at home especially considering the pricing. You are paying for the experience more than anything.

Michael Doary

Pretty pricy for low quality food, staff over worked, tourist trap. After complaining management gave a discount.

Desneige Robitaille

Tried a chicken sandwich (Blue mountain chicken sandwich?).. did not like it at all. My wife liked her salad. The price of the food here was insanity compared to the quality. I assume that's because it's a tourist zone. The experience inside was interesting for the kids, but not really so great that I felt it was worth getting gouged on food. Would not go again. Good things: The staff were very helpful and nice.

Ethan Campbell

My son was happy about the restaurant decoration! Elephants, gorillas, thunderstorms, rain in the bar ... It was really fun. We didn't need to wait to be seated and our waiter was very fast and friendly. Restaurant was almost full, but we got our order surprisingly fast. We had burgers, fish and chips, calamari and drinks. We spent great time and left the restaurant in a perfect mood. I ranked it 4 instead of 5 because of the price.

Joel Paul

Love this restaurant and the atmosphere! Great place to take kids. The food was expensive but tastes good.

Awa

We planned for a childs birthday (3)and server was nice. However, overpriced food was not ok when the quality was not good. Could have bought an excellent homemade burger somewhere else for half the price. We ordered rainforest burgers tasted like frozen only fries no other options over $20 asked for childrens utensils only said they had adult huge heavy fork..only icecream for birthday nothing great..ran out of signature cups that u would expect after choosing this place and living almost 2 hrs away. Wouldnt go again but decor was unique. Should be more conscious of children coming in and food needs as customers.

Martin Barber

Good for pictures and for kids but not for eating. The food is not worth the price. Server also asked for more tips. Charged for something we did not order.

Frank Reynolds

Great Food, but, Fish and chips were not the best dish to offer.

Michael Tsang

It’s always nice to visit another Rainforest Cafe, but it's nearly identical to all the other ones that I’ve visited . I’d love to see some unique touches added to each restaurant. It would give the fans of Rainforest Cafe much more of an incentive to visit each place.

Food is actually disgusting. But of course they can get away with it, because the experience there.

Derek Morden

This place is the most trippy place I have ever been. Food is absolutely delicious, fake animals look real and may scare the kids, staff is super friendly and very helpful. Cons: would appreciate if they had wifi but still deserve 5 start just for the place food and staff...!!

Dolly Vyas

Great atmosphere, great service. Enjoyed the food.

kiavash bastani

One of the few remaining Rainforest Cafes. The food was relatively expensive, but the portion sizes were large and fair. Would definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area for the ambiance and some nostalgia! Tip: if you’re feeling like something off the kid’s menu, they can double up the portion and treat it as a regular dish! Chicken tenders highly recommended!

Nina Chander

Great food and the environment is awesome. Kids loved seeing the jungle and we're amazed by the animals

Matthew Torres

Awesome ambiance, food and service. we went there on busiest Saturday evening but was surprised that wait time wasn't much longer, waited only 15-20 minutes which we spent playing ice hockey. Our server was Keyur, he was very attentive and helpful.Though they were sold out of cocktail I really wanted to try but suggested alternative wasn't that bad. Thanks for awesome service.

Dana Mihut

Mediocre food, decent service but awesome decor. Used to have this in the west coast of Canada when I was younger but they closed and I haven't been to Rainforest Cafe since. I remember loving the dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. Nothing special here about the food this time around and it came in a timely matter and was good. Our server was friendly and accountable. The menu was pricey (but I guess it's a bit expected since we are in a tourist "trap") but coming here was mainly for the nostalgia. Waited for about 45 minutes and was provided a buzzer. When we were seated, the restaurant was quite empty...so not sure why we have to wait for so long. Great atmosphere.

Cristian Romero

it was a very busy day for them and since they were leaving space for social distancing, the wait was roughly an hour and 45 mins. There’s an arcade right by it to burn some time, but we just sat outside by the fountain and watched the sun go down. Food was good, they were very accommodating with helping our meal be Gluten Free with the burger bun and no croutons in the salad! They of course offer cool gifts and merchandise by their gift shop as well ????????

The decoration is amazing. If you have kids, they will love it. However, the food is just OK and prices around $20 a sandwich

Jenny Tran

Server was very good, wish I remembered his name. Atmosphere was quite interesting, definitely cool to see. Food was mediocre, nothing too crazy but not bad.

Blair Labelle

Very pretty but wonder how they will clean or of they do clean all the leaves and tree's hanging over your feed then the animals and stuff start moving while u are eating and its dark so u cant see if anything os flying around your food

Altair Chase

Probably the best chicken Caesar salad ever but the Boreal burger was just ok. Everything was ridiculously priced (it's Niagara...). If it weren't for the awesome atmosphere I would rate lower.

Carson Wong

Literally my favourite place on earth. We spent $30 on light up cups but I would've spent $100 since they're priceless. Shawn was the nicest waiter I've had in a long time. Easily the best night ever. EDIT: If y'all don't reopen after corona, I'm literally gonna cry my eyes out.

Julie Marshall

The atmosphere of this place was INCREDIBLE! as an adult, I fully enjoyed every aspect even if it may be meant for kids. Food was great and had good serving sizes. I can see why wait times to get in takes so long. Everyone wants to eat there!

nodia ha

Great food friendly staff had a great time!

I was really excited to take my 4 yr old here as he really loves animals. Once we finally got a table we were really disappointed to be seated at the front of the restaurant where there was no animals . I understand that with capacity limits and social distancing it is important to spread ppl out but there were so many empty tables and ppl after us got seated closer even tho there was no one at those tables prior to us being seated. The service was okay but the food was terrible . My husband and I both ordered the steak , they were both cooked improperly, the potatoes had no flavour and neither did the veggies. I was def expecting a bit more for the price and wait and was super disappointed. Will not return.

The place was excellent but the food was just too bad.. just ordered pasta for around 30CAD but it was just bad..cost waa because of the location but taste was not good at all..

Tawny Stowe

Oh my god made my evening. Singer was so amazing. Love the food, customer service. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Worth the waiting in line. All must visit this place

Tatiana Quental

Food is average and definitely overpriced (like everything else in the area). Kids enjoyed the experience though, and there's a nice selection of kids meals.

Lala Serniet

What a unique experience! Loved the vibe of this place! Staff was exceptional! Thanks Chris! You made our meal entertaining and delightful ????

Tawny Giroux

Location food was ok very pricy and they don't follow what there menu says. Wanted to charge extra for a glass I already paid for. Bathrooms were disgusting it would have been cleaner going out in the alley. Wont go back to this location. If I could give a negative rating I would

Rui B.

Although this is a place aimed at amazing and entertaining kids they really need to up their food game for the grown up ....and kids for that matter. Reboot your menu guys ! Nice fun jungle like environment for younger kids .

The only thing good about this restaurant was the decor. After waiting over an hour for a table when the restaurant was like 50% empty, we waited almost another hour until we actually got our food. I had the parm chicken which came with barely a cup serving of pasta. Not to mention it was cold. And the pasta sauce was like the no name grocery store brand watered down with zero taste. The server brought me a hot serving, but honestly couldn't have cared less. It was awful. My son's pizza was comparable with one that was microwaved. And his "fruit bowl" consisted of a few grapes and a couple orange slices. Honestly I don't mind paying for good food. But after waiting that long and paying over $200, I want a good meal. It was far from. First and last time at Rainforest Cafe.

William Brewitt (Brew Productions)

Located near the bottom of Clifton hill ,the Rain Forest is an excellent theme restaurant to visit especially with the family. The food portions are big and tasteful. Furthermore the service is excellent. Also every 20 mins or so you get to enjoy a tropical thunderstorm. I would eat here again.

Sudhanshu Jaitly

The waiter gave great service, was very fast and friendly and even sang to us, unfortunately I am bad with names and didn't catch it. The food was excellent, I had a rainforest burger and fries and a peace love frog to drink. Thank you for making my experience awesome. Will definitely recommend it to everyone I talk to about the great food and service. Again thank you.

Chelsey Davidson

Kids land! If you have kids is a must come place. They will just love it. It is like you are in the forest. You can walk around to see the whole place. Food is ok. Price is average. It is a little dark inside. Pictures don’t come out very well. Lots of people celebrate their birthday ???? there. It is a fun place. If you want a quiet ???? romantic place - this is a No No. But if you never experienced something like that is a must go.

Ally White

We arrived a were given a 20-minutes waiting time estimate; seated after 35 minutes. For families with strollers, you can't take them into the restaurant and must leave it in a roped area beside the arcade...unsupervised; expensive strollers could be upgraded while one dines inside. This created much distress with my daughter as her two seater was priced over $1K. Megan was our server; very pleasant and attentive. Five stars. Our orders included The Beastie Burger $23.99, Rainforest Burger $19.99, Steak Sandwich $21.99 and a Cheeseburger and a Chicken Fingers off the Kids menu. Coke soft drink products are served here. The steak sandwich is only served well done, not my preferred medium rare. All meals rated four stars; good, large portions. Ambiance was five stars because this place is super for kids. A great dining experience!

Fadia D

Nice atmosphere but food is not great.

LC Collins

Service was great, and the atmosphere is amazing. The chimichangas and artichoke dip were delicious, but the rest of the food was either inedible or extremely mediocre (not worth even half of the price). The floor under our table was wet and sticky, too.

Roger D

It was a pleasure to have dinner in Rainforest Cafe Niagara. The food was amazing and I have to give credit to the Manager Eddie and our Host Cassandra for providing the best Customer Service experience.

Marina Poirier

Over priced , little kids actually may get scared of the thunder. Paid around ten dollars for five dinosaur process chicken nuggets from kids menu , my wife had two pieces of chicken and potatoes small veggies, for 27$ . It was not great, dry. We were dissatisfied.

Terrance Ray Trybus

just to get seated at that table, the food was pretty good but most definitely not what you pay for it and not worth the wait. The best thing about this place was our waiter he was very friendly/fun to be around and so was most of the staff working. The decor with the animals are awesome but a lot of kids running freely almost like Chuck E. Cheese. In a whole we spent 2 hours there and ate for about 20 minutes, the rest of the time was spent either waiting for a table to sit at or for our food.

Yujin Lim

The day we stopped in there were maybe only 8-10 tables seated. Service and food was great, will be our choice when we're at the falls...

Bella Love

I love rainforest cafe!!! Delicious food, friendly staff and amazing experience. I just feel like a child when I go there.

Angie Gunn

Good quantity of food for the price. They are accommodating towards dietary restrictions. They were able to convert most dishes to vegetarian as per our requirements.

Rustam Shirinov

Too expensive ,the food is not worth the money and the wait. We were 5 people and the bill was 225$ for lunch. We didnt take a drink ... just water and the principal meal. Waited in line 45 minutes to get in and as much for the food . The only thing that is good is the decor and the hospitality of the staff.

Nick Apostolopoulos

Showed up yesterday with the kids and wife. The young inexperienced manager although respectful gave us this big explanation of the requirement for vaccination cards. We showed him our vaccination cards from Bc and he did not accept it. Although every other restaurant , amusement park and hotel had no issues with them. Asked us to leave . I told him that the onus lies on the business to be up to date with the vaccination passports/ cards of other provinces . Well he lost business and got booed by the kids. Great work mr manager.

John Cardoso

Long wait and very expensive, great atmosphere for younger children and your really paying for the scenery more than anything else.

Shelly Smith

Super cool experience and a fun restaurant in walking distance of Niagra falls. The gift shop had some really cool things, the service was good, and the atmosphere was amazing. Only problem I had was you had to go to a booth and and get something before entering the restaurant which was a bit confusing. The fish to look at was super cool aswell. The food was pretty good, and a large quantity was given to everyone at my table, no one could completely finish. Super great experience, would reccomend.

Jinal Patel

Very poorly managed. The wait for 2 was 2 hours. We got into the bar which was open seating but to our surprise was empty. The reason for the wait is the lazy, clueless, sleeping employees. Manager walked by these empty spots several times without filling the spots. The resturant decor holds a lot of dust and needs to be deep cleaned. Food was disappointing menu is basic and over priced. Go for the decor, everything else is a waste of time.

Ali Saad

Took 3 hours to get a table Food was under cooked Got a discount on the food They were out of kids collecting cups which come on thats why people go here

Michelle Lau

Arrived with family and there was a 25 min wait to enter. This was expected for lunch on the beautiful Thursday in Aug. Once seated, staff were quick to acknowledge us and take our order. Food did take some time to arrive but we didn’t care all that much. It’s not like we really had a timeline. Prices are a bit high compared to other places. Cesar salad croutons were stale and the dressing was warm. As for our burgers, they were great! Honestly not worth $27 for a beast burger, but still great. Overall, what you’re paying for is the animatronic elephants, gorillas, and thunderstorms that take over the restaurant every 30 min. Great place to bring your kids, but expect to spend cash. Also note that you do not have to pay the local tourist tax (not legally a tax. This is fee each place charges). It’s not much at all, but with their menu prices, there’s no need to charge it. Washrooms could also use more frequent TLC.

Miya _Hopper

We eat at this place mostly because we wanted the experience of the Rainforest Café ambiance. We were not disappointed. It was a pleasant experience, the service was good and even the food was above the expectations. We had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. We will surely be back next time.

David Smith

No joke, the worst meal I ever had in my life. Overpriced garbage on a plate. Not worth it for the kids even. Stay away!

Elhgyne A.

The Rainforest cafe has a beautiful ambiance that is quite unique from all of the restaurants that I have ever been to. The concept of feeling like you are in a forest with animal sounds and moving animatronics is amazing. The food.... Not great. I ordered the appetizer platter which had a little bit of everything in terms of their appetizers and felt that the chicken was too dry or old and the pitas were bland and the tortilla chips were from a bag that had been opened 2 weeks ago. Basically, to me, it was not worth it.

William Wilsonn

Long wait which is no fault of their own due to covid restrictions. Could have gotten a better burger at McDonalds. No flavour, bottom bun was hard as a rock, soggy lettuce. Prices are not listed on the menu. Cool atmosphere but the food is awful. Not worth the almost $200 bill. Stay away from the food, have a drink and enjoy the show.

Maria Burgauer

there was a 2 hour wait when we went so we decided to just go to the bar for drinks. first we asked the lady in the front if we sat at the bar and when we finished our drinks can we walk around to take picture, we wanted the atmosphere and wanted to take pictures but they wouldn't let us after they even told us we could and the only reason we really went there was to see how it looked we could have gotten drinks from any where. so i was disappointed with that however the drinks were good just over priced for no reason.

Vee Hope S

My 7 year old loved it, which is why we opted for this restaurant over the many other options. I found it over priced, and the food was average at best. The batter on the fish and chips was very heavy and had an odd flavour. The wings were average, and they was a very limited flavour selection. The kids meals were OK. All the servers seemed uninterested. Doubt I'd ever go back

Danielle E

Staff was friendly and attentive, food was great - the ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, and with the music and decor the atmosphere was perfect! We were originally given a seat number when we arrived, but wanted to be closer to the large aquarium to watch the fish. They had no issues seating us right beside it which was wonderful! The fish looked healthy and well cared for and were fun to watch during our meal.

Jeremy Ng

Good food. Fun atmosphere with giant fish tanks that are a pleasure to watch. Friendly staff. I would definitely go back and recommend going here for the experience. Only complaint is that the background music was too loud for me.

Michael Kennedy

This is my third visit to this location and this most recent visit was my best overall visit. In the past I found the quality of food rather poor. This last visit the food was better prepared, better tasting and more appealing. The ambiance is fun for kids and the reason why I go. I find the prices high. The slogan says "a place to shop and eat" shop coming first, considering you need to go through their store to get to the restaurant. To conclude this last visit helped improve my opinion, with the increased customer service and food quality.

Charles Desgroseilliers

Saturday night 45' to 1 hours waiting for 7 peoples, not accepting table reservations by the time I was arrived

Avinash Dabrai

The place is great for kids...service was good..they bought a free dessert for the kids birthday. The food was okay and over priced but you come here for the experience. Our server was friendly and cheerful

Monica Pire

You go to the Rain Forest Cafe for the experience and atmosphere. But if you're going there expecting fantastic food , we'll save it. The food is overpriced and underwhelming and mediocre. I would say my dish the shrimp tacos were great! But the steaks and pasta dishes are all over priced frozen meals.

Stephanie Pascual

Always about an hour wait and when you go in many tables availables and another hour wait for the food and the food is very pricey $US ???? and to be honest, x3 plates we got, none was good. The decorations is very cool.

Urooj Khan

Line up is too long and good options are very limited. Employees are young students who are interested in joking with each other. Poor service!

Mariana Rocha

I've loved Rainforest Cafe since I was really small. But this time we did not have a great experience. We had to wait 15 minutes just to be served water. And then we paid almost $40 for an appetizer to split which later made both of us sick. We had to go back to the hotel early our one night in Niagara falls that we had been looking forward to for months. Extremely disappointed do not have the Awesome Appetizer!

Bryan Sarauer

Great fun place to visit. Food was very good so too was the service.

Dorian González

The rainforest theme was amazing and great for photos but its the food. It was overpriced and the kids meals were so dry, cold and burnt. The servers were friendly though!

treina turcotte

Is a beautiful place but i dont like the service on my table when i visit this place i hope they give me a better service if i come back to canada someone day

RANDO LANE

The food was terrible. My burger was cold and tasted more like a meatloaf than a hamburger. I would have given 1 star rating but the atmosphere is fun and the kids enjoyed it.

Love the Atmosphere but for the price I paid for the food that was flavorless

Sanjam Sodhi

Burger was very nice as were the mashed potato side. A bit on the expensive end but there is very little near the falls that isn't more expensive than it would otherwise be when it comes to eating out. What makes this place stand out on top of the good food is the fantastic experience for first timers and children. Beautiful aquariums and over the top cheezy animatronic wildlife in a dense rainforest all around you. Not for everyone all the time, but it's definitely worth seeing if you've never been to one.

Had dinner here and was not impressed. My daughter’s pizza was undercooked and my vegetables were overcooked. Everything on the menu was overpriced and underdelivered. The only thing enjoyable about this experience was the company I had the pleasure of dining with. Definitely will not be returning.

Mady Mollinedo

A bit on the pricey side for what you get but the kid loved eating in the rainforest with all the animals and the thunderstorm effects! Friendly staff so no complaints.

Richard F.

The theme is very good, it is very well set, the food is good, not the best, only good, but it is worth going. the ptecios are a bit high.

Ryan Harris

Tourist Trap! Mediocre food, decent service but awesome decor. Used to go there when I was younger and I haven't been to Rainforest Cafe in 8 years. I remember loving the Steaks there but now a complete disaster!!! Our server was friendly and service was good. The menu was pricey (but I guess it's a bit expected since we are in a tourist "trap") but going there was mainly for the nostalgia. Waited for about 45 minutes to get seated and another 40 minutes to be disappointed with an untasty steak (cooked frozen). Mac and cheese zéro for presentation and the fish my gf ordered well nothing special! ???? It was also very loud not because of the animals but because other type of human animals (group of 9-10 ppl) were loudly imitating them!!! ???? 3 stars but not returning to this place again!

Victor Esau

Very expensive just like every restaurant in a tourist spot. Like everyone says, we pay for the special effect and the decoration ( I liked it and if you are with small kids, they would like it as well). However, I couldn't help being disappointed when I ordered Cheese steak sandwich and what came to my table was Chinese fried veggies and little meat (ground maybe?) on the soft bread you can see at no frills and just regular mozzarella on top. I like veggies, ground meat and cheese but I thought it wasn't worth $24. Staff were great.

Jason Bowden

Mixed emotions about this place. Wanted to bring the kids here for a while and got to visit on family day. I'll start with the good, and unfortunately one thing only to mention, the decor/ interior is fun and interesting, specially for the little ones. And now back to reality, we were a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Waited for about 15 minutes to be seated and found out we got a table for 10 (?) No big deal. The place is over priced specially for the quality of food. I had wings and they were fine but friends that ordered the burgers (for $22-24) said it was the worst they had in a long while. My wife ordered the portabella wrap described it as the worse way to have a mushroom.. And ate only half because she was starving. We ordered hot dogs with fries for the kids and it was ok, but considering we paid $100 for the meal between the four of us, I would say we paid $60 too many. Thank you for the experience but we will not be back, ever. On a side note - the washrooms were decent but the soap foam, wow, we had our hands smelling for hours, even after we got home and washed our hands multiple times with our perfectly fine soap. No hot water to wash your hands and only one soap dispenser with no paper dispenser at all. To conclude - very disappointing visit. Only go if you are after the experience and the kids absolutely ask to go there, if you don't have to eat there, just don't.

Vikas Kumar

Décor is fun and so are the animatronics. Every so often there's a faux thunderstorm. In the gift shop there's an aquarium with lots of cool fish and even a shark. The food is aggressively terrible and sometimes even revolting. I've been twice and both times received food clearly microwave reheated from frozen. Bland, soggy, unevenly heated. Dry/burnt on top and wet/soggy on the bottom regardless of what it is. A friend got nachos which were charred black and sparse of toppings. The, easiest dish to make and it was still beyond bad. Generally you're paying premium prices for food on the level of a frozen or canned dinner. I can't understand why the food is so terrible here but it completely ruins the otherwise fun experience. The service is pretty good, though. We've always had enthusiastic and attenntive servers. Which is why i gave it two stars. I would never return here and pay through the nose again for the disgusting food. Can't imagine how they can in good conscience serve this garbage.

Leandro Acosta

My friend , boyfriend and I , dined here really late to closing to celebrate my birthday. Our servers George and Trainee Christina did not rush us and made us feel right at home. Great for conversations and they both did well for recommending drinks. The food was presentable and fresh (I went to about 7 different restaurants while I was out in Niagara and so far I had the best experience here). I will be coming again from Scarborough, specifically for these two people. Thanks again guys !!!!!

Jonathan Lagdameo

Decided to stop in for lunch . They have a awkward check in situation where host #1 radios host #2 , too find seats for you . We were seated rather quickly and the waiter was attentive . Like most places at Niagara the prices were high but not outrageous here . If you bring your kids they will love it. And every few minutes there is a “rainstorm “ inside . The food was average but came out quick. I would go back

Patrick Doyle

It was amazing! It's a good place to take kids as well. The best part was hearing the thunder and the animal noises it made you feel like you were literally sitting in the rainforest.

Danny Lourenco

Me and my family love to visit the Rainforest cafe, we go there every time we visit the Niagara Falls. Great atmosphere, great fun, food, and of course - vooolcaaanoooo!!! :) <3

Yun Tang

Great spot to occupy the kids and get a good meal with great portion size for the tourist-trap pricing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Vincent John Fernandez

Cool place with an amazing unique atmosphere. I have not seen this type of place in the whole world. I have not tried the food yet but will definitely try on our next visit to Niagara. I wish if they have HALAL food option.

Amanda Hill

This is a bit dated, as my family went there in August, but I was recently reminded of this experience and it was a good one. What made it good was not the food, which was ok, nor the price, which was way too high for the food but ok because of the ambiance - what made it good was George, our waiter. We told him we were in a hurry and he took care of us with efficiency, professionalism, and not to mention giving us quite a few laughs. A1 service George!

Samantha Hetherington

Kids enjoy the atmosphere inside. Staffs are friendly. It's expensive but the food is good. There is no reservation, first come first serve, long waiting time to be seated. There is a arcade where the kids can kill time. Bathroom too dirty and stinky with overflow garbage pail.

Ken Franczek

Its expensive but no one is going here just to eat. You're paying top dollar for the experience. I just think the menu should be a bit bigger and more options

Nice restaurant to eat at. The dim lights and the way the restaurant is set up is like you really are in the rainforest with a bunch of animals. Drinks are really good and the food is delicious. I had the cheesesteak po-boy and that hit the spot. Service was good and everything made my time here worthwhile. I do recommend to anyone.

Allison Kim

Fun decoration for kids. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was decent

Marco Magalhaes

I'm not sure where to start on this review. The wait was to be expected due covid. My issue was the completely disgusting washrooms, the lack of dietary options and the non eco-friendly items. This place is called the Rainforest Cafe and they should just change the name to chuckie cheese. It hasn't changed at all in 20 years. Keep away and find another tourist trap restaurant anywhere nearby.

Family Room

I found this restaurant pretty average. The food is not that good, but it’s about the experience of dining in a forest. The prices are pretty high for quality of food. If you order some specific drinks, you get to keep the souvenir glass. They have an arcade section too which is pretty fun.

Ethan Negev

Long wait, no option to reserve a table, underwhelming, overpriced food. Only positive thing is the decor which the animatronic animals were out of order.

Food is totally fine, but it's super overpriced... But let's be honest it's not why people come here. It's for their kids to have a blast and to have a great 'experience'. $150 for a family of 5, everyone left full so it's not stupidly expensive, but definitely overpriced.

Rachel Brett

Another unique place to eat. Like a rain forest they have storms regularly. The animals get restless, moving and making noise. The bar is under a giant mushroom and it rains over the top. Kids really enjoy it.

Tina Hill

It is indeed a very fun place for kids. The prices are high, which I would not mind if the food was high quality. The grade 1 girl I took ordered a fruit bowl. It was 1/2 an orange and about 20 grapes. She would not eat the grapes cause they tasted bad/dirty. I also thought the same. Told our waitress the grapes tasted bad and she said "I saw them wash them this morning" This made me swear I will not go again. Just the attitude of our waitress was insulting.

Thania Payes

Food isnt bad, but not worth the exorbitant price. Kids may find atmosphere fun.

Ashley McMartin

Me and my family went here because of the atmosphere, and don’t get me wrong. Any little kid would love it there. But the food and drinks took so long to arrive when the restaurant barely had any people in it, we had no idea what was even going on. After waiting an hour and a half for our food and drinks in an almost empty restaurant we received subpar, to terrible food. They also got all of our meals completely wrong. Wrong drinks, fries instead of fruit, and forgotten items. And the bill for 3 people was over $60 for that terrible experience. One of our group members left feeling like she was going to vomit. We %100 will not be going back again

Ruth Leon

Food overpriced and bad quality. We order 2 kids meal with the burgers...the meat was so dry and burnt. My husband burger the meat was really dry as well. Waitress was really nice and friendly good service overpriced and bad food. Good atmosphere.

Jonathon Gratz

First time ever at a Rainforest Cafe and it was a great experience! Great staff, food was amazing, but a bit on the pricey side. Our waitress was excellent and we all had a great time! The chicken parmesan is sooo good, and the portion was huge!

Leonard E

Visited on a Friday at 2:30, had to initially wait 35 to 40 minutes to get seated...which was no problem. But the buzzer we were issued was not working properly. So we had to verbally check after the 45 minute mark to see if our table was ready, and yes it was. Despite all this, our server Robbie was fantastic! She was friendly and attentive to our needs. Portions were big and the kids were happy with the pizza and Dino nuggets. Recommend the shrimp taco and the Blue Mountain chicken sandwich.

Lorelei Petry

The wait was horrible especially when I witnessed a couple standing behind me were given an extra leverage to not have the buzzer and were let go inside the restaurant.. I felt a lil racism happening there... when the employee noticed that I observed what he just did.. he couldn't even manage for a steady eye contact. LOL

DJ VIN Lom

This place has become more of a attraction then a resturaunt. Years ago the food was amazing, relatively large portions and decent quality, these days not so much. Frozen pizza, steak wasn't seasoned, seems as if the chef doesn't understand how to cook a steak the way you want as we had to send back the food. The only reason I gave this place three stars is because of the staff and the cleanliness. Otherwise I would have given this place one star. Its sad, years ago I would always want to go to this place, unfortunately I will no longer return. Give it a shot, maybe it was an off day....

Eric

Expensive for the low quality. The atmosphere is super engaging and I love the jungle ambience, but it was dusty and damp smelling....I dont blame them.....it must be hard to properly clean all that decor. Food was stale and servings were small for the price. I can cook a dinner 100x better in less time. Left hungry with regret that it cost 100.00 for super basic meals that usual run me 70 at a large chain restaurant. Will not eat here again. I suggest everyone try it once if not for the food but the environment. Some people left good food reviews.....so????to you.

I do wish there were more vegetarian options other than just a burger but it was a fairly good meal. The server was nice and kept apologizing for the wait. We waited about ten minutes to have our drink orders taken, another 5 to get them and half an hour for food to arrive. We're not really in a rush usually so we weren't too concerned, but if you hate waiting then keep it in mind. We were close to missing the bus we were catching with the wait for the debit machine at the end, and had to dash to the bus after we finished paying. But overall, decent dinner experience. We enjoyed coming the last time we were in Niagara too.

Feja

This place is WAY overpriced for less than pleasant food. The atmosphere isn't even worth the price you pay to eat here. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to eat. Such a huge disappointment after a 2 hour plus wait. And the bathrooms were disgusting, definitely not COVID conditions at all! Pass, pass, pass!

The food here used to be really good. We've been to this location many times in the past and the food had always been really delicious. But somehow this time the food was just really too salty. My husband had about 4 bites out of his Rasta Pasta and didn't want to finish the rest. I had the Pastalaya which I would say would have really good if it hadn't been a bit too much on the salty side. I would have mentioned it to our server except that she was too busy looking after her other customers as well. And my daughter couldn't finish her kiddy-sized pizza either as she said it was too greasy and salty as well. My son didn't enjoy the nachos as he said it was too dry.

Ruurd Offringa

This place is a great place to go with kids. It has a wonderful atmosphere, with a huge amount of work going to decorating the place. Don't go here if you're in a rush as things will take time. This is a place to come to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We found the food here is quite good and enjoyed our meals. It is a bit more expensive, but that is to be expected as this would not be a cheap place to run. Well worth going to for an enjoyable lunch experience with kids. If you have kids that are afraid of thunder, you might want to think about that as they are regular thunder storms.

Waitress was great. all around interesting place but food was horrible. Chicken was really dry and tasted weird. The only reason its still in business is because of the animatronics. Also very overpriced for what we got. 2/5. Here's a tip: go to Ruby Tuesdays instead if your in Clifton hill.

Jordan Herweyer

We weren't impressed with this restaurant at all. After having one of the best meals ever at the Disney Springs location, this fell at the other end of the spectrum. Being seated very close to other patrons despite many tables being empty, terrible service and very poor food all made this a disappointing experience. With so many restaurants to choose from in the downtown, do yourself a favour and pick a different one. To give you perspective, the bill was 70 dollars for two hamburgers, a poutine and two pops.

Jaden Cote

Loved the experience of a themed restaurant. We need more themed restaurants in town for entertainment. Lol. They had animatronics moving and making sounds. It was quite entertaining for my toddler and myself. Love the fun drinks too. Was kind of pricey for the food they had though. But overall , it was a fun experience. Would go back again.

A few things I have some issues with, some small, some bigger. 1. Because of Covid, they don't allow you to walk around, was told to stay in our seat unless we need to go to the bathroom. I feel like I pay for their 27 dollar burgers so my kids can see all the cool things they have throughout the restaurant. 2. I shared a photo of the fork that came with my 4 year olds dinner. She could barely fit food in her mouth. This restaurant is literally meant for kids, but the forks are there in case Shaq happens to visit. 3. I got a steak sandwich, which was more like hamburger meat just not pressed into a patty. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't a steak sandwich. 4. They tagged on a marketing charge to the bill without asking or telling me about it, I noticed an extra 3.20 on my bill as I was about to pay. If they had said something like, "hey covid has slammed us hard and we have added on an extra 3.20 to the bill". I would have probably just paid it. I requested it be removed and they did. 5. The kids meal shows a side option of a fruit bowl with 3 or 4 different fruits mixed in.... we were told its just grapes. Got the grapes... half of them were soft. Food was pretty good. Our waiter was new and started off by forgetting stuff, but his service quickly rectified the early mistakes.

Super slow service, plus they made us wait one hourto be seated when the restaurants was at less than a quater of its capacity. The food is mediocre at best and expensive. Burgers at $27 should atleast taste fresh! Very disappointed, half the animated animal were not even working anymore.

Barbara Bonilla

Had the China Island Chicken Salad...a favourite of mine. The gorillas that we were sitting near were broken so that was a little disappointing. ????

Marvin Silva

I took my family here last week. The food was awful not even my 2 year old would eat it. We all left hungry. The service was fast and everyone was super nice. I like the theme of the restaurant and so did my son but if you are going out to eat then I would not choose this place for the food. Just disappointing!

Lika Kharshats

Environment is cool too experience, food is expensive and sub par. If you have never gone. Go once for the experience but never go again

Erin

We had a superior adventure with our energy packed leader George of the Jungle!! Delicious food, delectable drinks and an always entertaining jungle escape surrounding us!!!

Giovani Pereira

Excellent, attentive service. My daughter loved the aquariums and atmosphere. Not scary at all..

Vitra Mohammed

You really go to the Rainforest Cafe for the experience. The staff are delightfully friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, but the food is mediocre at best and you're paying top tier prices. The best part of dining are the animatronic …

Jessica Caballero

I did not like this place much. But the creativity is interesting. All the wait or keep on breaking the meals and dropping the food and drinks. This place is dirty and smelly. For the time being eating here they dropped 10 items. The waiters have no patients. The arcade the people are strict and rude. Also when they drop their plates averybody keeps on slipping.

Lelecutie123

Worst. Place waitted 2 1/2 hoursfor table and they did not take reservations food was in cooked and they took it and reheated it and it was still in cooked, table was dirty

Koreen Melnick

First time we went it was good though yesterday afternoon was awful. We had to wait like a hour for a table then they never called us and instead gave our table to someone else and eventually sat us next to the bathroom instead of our original table at the back. The prices for food are crazy there for what you get and the whole idea of going there is for the special effects of actually being in a rainforest around wildlife. When you are placed at a table near the bathroom where there isn't any of rainforest experience it takes away from the whole point of going there in the first place. Deeply disappointed for the lack of service as we could of got food anywhere else on Clifton Hill or Stanley that was far superior and cheaper. Will definately not ever return there again next time we go to Niagara Falls as customer service isnt their top priority. The guys bathroom also had sticky urine and paper towels littering the floor it was disgusting.

Winter Heart

Everything was excellent. The Greek guy was very kind and patient, because we were 12 .

Tarjit Bassi

Seems like it might be a cool environment post Covid but an hour and a half wait to be told to stay seated at table and not view the exhibits is pretty rough. Also wasn't expecting much in the way of food just based on the fact it's a theme restaurant, but unfortunately it fell really short of even those low expectations.

Jennifer Yeung

Good food...great ambience..service was quick....love the elephants and rest of the decor

Jaskaran Batth

Way too expensive 22. For a hamburger ???? And vary dusty but the aquarium is fantastic

Kev Norm

One of the greatest features of this venue is its unique jungle ambiance. The feeling of being sitting under a thunderstorm, in addition to be surrounding by sounds of wild life makes this restaurant a fascinating family experience. Service is polite, especially for being in a busy spot. Food is good and tasty, their menu displays some original dishes although it is mostly generic North American food. In terms of waiting time, you'd better reserved in advanced or you will be waiting for very long (+40 min) to get a table. Furthermore, it is not budget friendly because of its $$$ cost. Note: watch out for the city tax is included in your bill, that one is not mandatory to pay so that they can wave it off upon request, don't let them fool you!

Several Years ago, my best friends Aunt took us here to eat. Amazing Atmosphere! I still have memories and the pictures to go with them. We are planning on going again sometime this year. Most likely in the summer. The plan is to pass along the experience now that I have a little one of my own to share it with. The staff is always polite and very quick to get things done and done right. We've never had any problems, and they are willing to change dishes if you warn them of an allergy. I would love to make this trip more often! EDIT: Just went with my boyfriend, our five year old, and some friends! (September 16, 2018) Just like I remember it! The food was amazing, and the portion size was perfect! My little guy loved his all for him sized pizza, and I found out I was the only one who had been before. They had a great time!

Jeffery Thomas

Was here with my family, for a nice dinner and was super disappointed. First my kids food came before any drinks and no cutlery on the table to eat with. Then had ti ask for cutlery and they gave us 2 sets and there was 4 of us but only needed 3 sets. After I witnessed a server wiping a table off drop the rag she was using on the floor and picked it up and continued wiping the table with it! I spoke to the manager about it they recleaned the table and that was all. Its Covid, you would think the server would be spoken to or something but she just continued on with working! Food was not worth the money at all. I am in the restaurant industry so i was very sickened by my experience here. Never again!!

Mac Davis-Kelly

Food is great,. But could be a little more spice in those. Design is awesome, i recommend the blue mountin cheese burger. We hadna great time here.

Avery Grant

Unfortunately a terrible experience - still here actually - took over 25 minutes to have someone come to our table to take a drink order in a fairly empty restaurant - table of 4 has food arriving in stages now 50 minutes since walking in. Kids order came out incorrectly. Menus don’t have published prices (if we are fine dining that’s fine but at a family restaurant seems like a miss). Son enjoyed the decor, fish tanks, animatronics which managed to keep him entertained while we waited for the food to arrive but overall I’d be hard pressed to recommend this to any family. Edit Bill arrived Burgers 21.99, pasta 27.99 for anyone who wants to know the mystery prices

Jason Jett

Prices are shocking, service is embarassing, fish tank is depressing. It took our host Chris 15 minutes to even geet the table, yet he didnt even offer water or ask for our drink order, and another 10 minutes before he came back to take our food order and then he finally offered drinks. I wouldn't suggest anyone come here. Ever.

Sean Huynh

The atmosphere is incredible and the staff were lovely. The food is generally great, if a bit pricey. My only note is the fries were a bit cold, but it by no means ruined the dinner.

Mark B

The atmosphere is fun but the food was a bit average and a bit expensive

Cristobal C

The covid procedures were in place the customer service was excellent food was amazing definitely will go again

Bernard Stephenson

Atmosphere needs a major update. Food is mediocre at best and over priced. Server was nice. The floors are weird. Not sure why they’re so slippery. You’re literally slipping and sliding. I only came here for the kids. They seemed to enjoy the french fries. Other than that the place is a complete let down. You’re better off going to Burger King.

Overpriced, average food but you go for the atmosphere. The service was good.

Sofia MacMurray

Got vegetarian pasta and vegetarian black bean burger . Both were so bad and food was super expensive. Not worth at all . They just selling the interior . was first and last time

Sam Salman

Long wait to get seated while the place was mostly empty (mid afternoon). Mediocre food at a premium price. Would not return despite the kids having fun watching the shark

Ashley Bolger

I've noticed the quality of the food go down hill over the years but what really irks me is when owners refuse to respect workers. I will not be bringing out of town guests to Rainforest Cafe until the owner addresses workers issues regarding fair wages, creating a union, and sexual assult in the work place. #RainforestUnion

kilerseb117

The food is really average but the decor is beautiful really fun for kids

Trevor Gerard

This place has been around forever. Just be ready to pay high end prices and there is usually a wait. Food is decent but not worth what you pay for it but it's more the experience of going with your family, especially children. The staff are decent but it's pretty loud in there so just be prepared for that.

Thomas Dembie

It's great for ambience. But for a restraunt chain this big its shocking to see that they have very minimal options for Vegetarians/Vegans. It was disappointing none the less for the amount of money it charges.

Nehal Ahmed

Yes, it's over $20 for a hamburger, but this is Niagara Falls and everything is expensive. The food is okay and there is a decent variety. Kids will love the animatronic animals and the jungle thunderstorm. It wasn't too loud, so little …

Tilottama Dey

Food is okay a bit pricy but taste okay, on the other hand the service was horrible we had our server with bad manners, he was very rude. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Airam Renee

It’s totally a great experience that you have to visit at least one time! Usually you have to wait to be seated, the food is good, served in big portions. They don’t take cash.

Gregg D

It would be a 5 star for the atmosphere. The food is mediocre and over priced! Took my kids for the first time since they were babies and it was a whole new experience.

Nikhil Chhabra

Nice to try once. The food was just ok, good portions but not the tastiest. Great drinks tho! Heads up... the menu doesn't show you prices! Too bad! Also expect a sticky floor and tons of humidity.

Barbara Sanderson

Over priced and lower than average food. Over cooked fish and chips. Fish had pieces of bone in it. Manager gave us $6 off our bill, not even a apology and the manager did not even come to our table. This is not the same place it used to be years back. Everything on the menu starts at $20 even appetizers, how does that make sense? Fish and Pasta cost the same price.

Melanie Bergsma

I remember back in late 90s early 2000 when they first opened in Yorkville, the food was a little overpriced but they were good. The quality of food has slowly declined over the years. This time is a total disappointment, food from the food court is ten times better and cheaper. We ordered a $25 cheese steak sandwich, which is pre package beef top with very little mozzarella in wonder bread hot dog bun serve with a handful of fries that is the same brand from taco bell n KFC. $30 nacho which is lack of topping and only 2 tablespoons of sour cream. If it's not for the cheesey experience for my 6 year old and for memories sake, l probably will not go here but this time it's definitely will be the very last time.

Great place to enjoy the atmosphere and dine on typical well-made Western classics - on the long weekend we were there, there was not much of a wait to get in (which is great, but possibly only due to the pandemic)

The only reason that this gets 2 stars is because of the atmosphere and the people that work there. I am sad to say that this Dining establishment has failed. It has failed to maintain high quality food They changed their menu. This place has gone from is a restaurant that I actively seeked out whenever I went to Niagara Falls to a restaurant that I will avoid.

Cole Fudge

Food was good. Atmosphere is fun and interesting for children

FFTW Development

The cutest little place , unfortunately I did not get to eat there , because they we're closing .

Leduan Flores

I remember going as a child and having a blast not the case now i you want to go look at out dated animatronics and tasteless food for mid to high range price eat here. I was there Nov 12 with my family. my wife and i shared Mayas mixed grill the ribs were dry and tasteless so was the chicken i also got a Caesar salad and it tasted like romaine lettuce with watered down dressing. I was going to get a beer with my meal but when the food came and I tasted it I didn't even bother. the kids got pizza and spaghetti the sauce tasted worse than squeeze tube sauce at grocery store. all together it came just over 90 dollars would have been better off spending a little more and going to the Keg and actually enjoying ourselves.

The food is pretty amateur. My burger was pretty plain and the bun was too thin to hold the contents (had to eat it with a fork and knife in the end). My wife had the cheese steak and fries, which were also okay, but nothing special. The service wasn't amazing, though our server claimed to be pretty new, so your mileage may vary. They forgot the bacon on my burger despite mentioning it twice and then forgot to exclude it from the bill when I pointed out it was missing. Not unforgivable mistakes though. These things happen. Overall, not really worth it for the slightly high price unless you appreciate the convenience of the location near the arcade and are interested in the animatronics, fish tanks, etcetera, though you can't walk around and look at them during covid since they want you to stay in your seat besides for going to the washroom in order to reduce risk.

Just like most of Niagara Falls this is another overpriced embarrassment to Ontario & Canada. Bad service and mediocre quality. Wash the disappointing experience down with a $9 bottle of beer. Fruit bowl was just two poor slices of orange and handful of little grapes. Washroom soap and paper towels out. Could go on. Rofl terrible.

Valerie Beauvais

Excellent and fun atmosphere! Our table was ready when they promised it would be. Service was great, although the food took a long time to come, and the burger patty was over cooked, therefore a bit dry. Overall we enjoyed ourselves! >^..^<

Muhammad Usman Tariq

Pro: Experience. Kids love the animals, thunderstorms, themed drinks and food, arcade, and gift shop. Cons: Very expensive for what you get, frozen low quality food, dark, loud, entrance is awkward and crowded, usually forced to leave your stroller parked outside, service is slow and bad at times (we’ve been on several occasions and waited 30-40 mins for food). Summary: If you haven’t been with kids, then it is worth the trip if you can afford roughly $100-120+ for 4 people. As for repeat visits, unless you’re bringing a newbie I wouldn’t bother lol

Bilal Ali

Really a nice place. Loved all the animations and the life like detail of them Food was delicious

Andrew

Hubby had the best burger here he's had on years, and I had the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had! Amazing good, and such delicious drinks. The animals are really cool, they have mild movements every so often (blinking, head turning) and every fifteen minutes they do a whole movement show. There's a thunderstorm every half an hour which is so much fun to experience. The galaxy is displayed on the ceiling with showing stars. A few super cool fish tanks. It's a really exciting, unique, beautiful place to be that serves the.most incredible food. 10/10, if you're nearby, drop in!!

Leanne Green

Positive - the atmosphere is great for kids. Negative - the overpriced food. - the quality of the food. - the service.

Melissa Gudgeon

The wait staff are over worked and as a result ... service levels are not where they should be. The staff are trying their best but you have to wait to be seated, wait for your food, when you are all done... you guessed it ... wait for your bill. The kids seems to enjoy the themed restaurant of a rain forest / jungle setting. Not sure if they do drink refills with pop, but if they do they don't come around to ask you. Be ready to pay $4.49 for a Coke. Watch your ordering as your bill will be very high if you don't. To give you an idea my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) got an order of nachos, and 2 kids meals and 1 pop and the total before tax was $60. This location is independently owned and no longer apart of the Landry Restaurant chain. This location is just off Chifton Hill and is attached to The Sheraton Hotel in Niagara Falls Canada.

Melissa Sharma

Cool environment especially for kids but food not ok for the price you pay. Very expensive and a low quality.

Calvin Kwok

during the pandemic, you may expect longer wait times, we had to wait 45 minutes on a friday at 12:30pm. food was satisfactory but pretty overpriced. servers were wonderful! i got the shrimp tacos with sautéed vegetables instead of beans, which were pretty good

Miguel Samoondar

The atmosphere is incredible here. The animals do a little jig every 15 minutes or so and every 30 there's a "thunderstorm". The main draw of the rainforest cafe is definitely the decor but service was very good and the good was above average. You will absolutely be paying a premium price at this place though. I got a burger + beer and my wife got nachos and a virgin shirley temple. After tip it came up to $93 for us both. It was worth it for the experience but I can imagine it's tough on single income families.

Renee Grove

My daughter loved this place. She wanted to go back the next day. She loved the animals, and said that the people who worked there were so nice. :)

Shaline Reinheimer

Very cool environment, a bit too loud at times bit I guess it's part of the experience. Food was overall pretty good, fries were nice and Chrispy, I do wish they added more dressing on the Ceasar and trimmed it better, but overall pretty good.

food is decent...service is excellent. They really respect social distancing in terms of seating arrangement. Very family friendly environment here of course! Price is a bit higher but I'm sure they have to considering they cannot accommodate so many customers at once.

Ali Khan

Unorganized hostess staff, long wait for empty tables, feels like they just want you to waste time in their store until you buy something. Limited menu and the rainforest burger tasted like dog food. Waitress was fairly friendly. The animatronics were cool.

Clark McMaster

We were seated by a host who appeared to be none other than Captain Levy himself. He kept his famous stoic composure the whole time. Commander Erwin Smith of the Survey Corp. would be proud.

craig brown

What a fantastic place to go for lunch. My wife and I stopped by for lunch and we liked the place. There was a wait for a table so we sat at the bar till we were guided through the rainforest to our table. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Nothing special but it hit the spot. I definitely recommend it for kids.

K Turtlepie

Wasn’t a great experience for me, got in with the family and we got seated fairly quickly on a Sunday afternoon, took a little longer than normal to get the food, wife, son and daughter were ok with their orders,,,,, I got a steak that was just warm but didn’t complain but after few bites noticed it was almost raw so I called the waitress and she delivered the complaint to the manager, offered to get me another one I wasn’t going to wait more for it, anyway “AMANDA” deserves a five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the situations handling, and service, but ZERO star for the raw steak

Zinobia J

Food was overpriced, quality of the food was terrible for the amount we paid. I wouldn't go back. We went with a large family 4 adults and 3 children. Staff seated us but forgot to bring a booster when asked. Kids meals had option of fruit for a side. But the fruit came out mostly spoiled. Wife ordered nachos there was hardly any cheese or beef on the nachos. The fish tank was the best part of the restaurant.

Great service and a experience you don't want to miss if you are in the area!

Tania Binnington

I went for the first time today. And loved it. Joan P was our server and was the sweetest I have ever had. We had to wait 15 minutes which was fine, we understand that the kitchen needs to catch up before they add more orders. The food, though pricier, was tastey. The animatronics were neat to see for the first time, and I spent a little extra to get a cup to take home. The daquiri was great. Overall would go again. Would definately recommend asking for Joan too if I were to go again. I can't rave about her enough!

Dayana c

So I'll lead by saying your kids will LOVE this place. You're going there for the atmosphere not the food. But. The food. It wasn't particularly great. In fact, the tacos were inedible having been drowned in sauce. The remaining food was mediocre at best. Does it matter that the adults didn't love the food? Typically no... But it also cost almost $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Scary. Go, but maybe eat elsewhere for the parents.

KY McConnell

Staff was great, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was absolutely stunning. The animatronic animals were lifelike and gorgeous, and despite being open and a restaurant, they managed to capture the dense and humid feel of the rainforest.

Genrev Naig

Came here for a later bite. The food is decent. Kids love the animatronic animals. Especially during the rainstorms, lots of action. Got the kids burgers with fruit, gluten free pasta dish, and the rainforest burger ????. Burger was decent. All good was good. Really good service was provided. Would recommend for you to come here. Just be prepared for the higher price point. Probably not cheap to run the equipment in here. Enjoyed our experience.

Michael Rankin

The experience and staff were pretty great, but I can't say the same about the food. I ordered a steak and shrimp, which was 40 CAD, aprx. 30 USD, and came with vegetables and mashed potatoes (which I substituted out for poutine). I ordered my steak medium well, and it tasted way overcooked and burnt, and hardly had any flavor. It may have been the worse steak I had ever eaten at a restaurant. On the contrary, the shrimp was probably the best I ever had, but only came with 4 pieces. The vegetables were okay, and the waitress forgot to substitute the mashed potatoes for poutine, but quickly brought it out and was apologetic about it. The waitress and environment partially made up for a very underwhelming lunch that was quite expensive. My boyfriend's pasta, however, did taste very delicious. Consistency is important, especially when food is as expensive as it is at Rainforest Cafe. Another thing to consider is that a 40 minute wait time was made very easy by the fact that there was a massive arcade right outside of the restaurant, which me and my boyfriend had a blast at.

JEE MAGIC

Even with all restrictions in place at the moment we had a good experience. Drinks and food good. Nothing extraordinary but more of a place for the experience and decor. Boys did say nachos are the best. Server had had was very friendly:)

Kyuhong Cho

Stopped in for appies and a drink. Very friendly staff and the combo appie platter was very good!

Tracie Roy

The food is very average and over priced. The portion of food you get is rather small for a adult. The theme is great for kids and its entertaining but everything else is lacking. They need to lower the prices & care more about the customers to keep the consistency up. Will not go back very disappointed. $35 for a pasta dish that could feed a 6 year old terrible.

Rida H

It is pricey and the menu is not very inspired BUT the food was very tasty and the atmosphere is the real star

Riaa

Place was wonderful and amazing my kids love it. Staffs are friendly. I don’t like the food serving, it’s too small for the price you paid. We order a steak as medium rare but it turns out rare.

M Brom

The ambiance here is the best part of the Rainforest Cafe. The food is alright, but a little too expensive for what it is - plus they do charge the dreaded "resort fee" here (although it isn't much). My wife and I personally didn't receive good service when we went here, but since we have only been here once, I will give the benefit of the doubt to the staff this time. Overall, I do recommend coming here at least once to experience the Rainforest Cafe.

Kosta Stavrakis

We had a blast! The place is very expensive but lives up to its name and is worth it for sure! The aquariums they have are beautiful and the service was fast and friendly.

Anna Vieira

Went last week, we were deciding on where to go thought about this place and checked the menu posted outside of the restaurant and prices looked decent, requested a table had to wait 15 min... That was not the case when we sat down, the menus inside were at least $3 more. We were hungry and decided to stay instead of going elsewhere and most likely having to wait again for a table. The hostess who lead us to our table was super sweet, and I wish she was our server. Our server, from what seemed like the get go seemed to lack any friendliness towards us, (We are a couple), I had witnessed her being friendly to other tables with more than 2 people. Drinks were ordered and came out quickly. Food was ordered and took almost 1 hour to come out, probably would have taken longer if we didn't happen to find the manager and complain. There is no way that 2 hamburgers and fries take that long to cook. By the time we were served the food it was barely warm and dry, the cheese had started to harden on my burger. There was no check to see how the food was either. I've been to the Yorkdale location multiple times and have never had service like we did here. Will never return to this location again.

Colin MCdonald

Fun place for kids with their moving animals. Good service. Volcano is a nice dessert.

Debbie Cunningham

A decent place with a lot of attractive animal toys, bookmarks, pens and a small restaurant. A heaven for kids to choose from a variety of toys and collectibles. Overall, a good place to visit and shop.

Dashonda

Usually it's overcrowded, but during COVID19 pandemic it almost empty. Atmosphere is very nice, it really interesting especially for kids!

Mihail Markov

Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. However the tables were sticky though and bathrooms were disgusting. The natural burger was dry and the coleslaw wasn't good either. Very over priced

Hailey Appleby

Kids love to experience having lunch with a friendly animals, the staff also are so friendly, good food. highly recommended

Josh Steinberg

We as usual had an amazing time here. My kids love this place. The service is amazing and so is the food.

Howard Zin

Food was mediocre but our server Cassandra was awesome. She was very attentive and prompt. The restaurant had issues with their credit/debit and was causing lots of stress for the servers but not their fault.

Kevin Watson

My family had a great time here! Good service, food the whole family liked, and the scenery was amazing! The kids especially likes how every now and then the animals appear to come to life by moving a little bit, and making sounds. It was pretty exciting. At the opening of the restaurant was a rather large fish tank, which holds a variety of fish including a medium-small shark, and a large eel. The eel likes to play hide and seek in the coral rocks.

Christy Tratch

Little pricy depending on what you order. But I think the atmosphere makes up for the cost.

Michelle McKee

Food was delicious, our server was so attentive and polite. Wonderful visit!!

Jonelle Skeete

Terrible. Service was ridiculously slow. Waited for nearly an hour to get our food. Food was below average and way too expensive for what it was. Washrooms were filthy. Highly recommend you stay away from this location.

EC

It's very... Atmospheric. There are fake animals all over the place and water falling around the bar area. Very loud. Very kid friendly. I love the aquariums. There's a table right next to some robotic gorillas. I would have really not liked being right next to them.

Alisa Gagne

J T

So much fun for our kids aged 6, 4 and 1.5 yrs! Lots to see while waiting for our food. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was good. It was just a bit overpriced in keeping with Niagara Falls tourist district.

Monarch Vyas

The Rainforest Cafe is waaaaaaay overpriced. Though the staff was good and our wait was short on a Saturday night (we only had to wait to have our vaccine records checked). My son (who’s on the autistic spectrum so food choices are limited) ordered a plain plate of pasta noodles and we were charged $29.99 CAD. My chicken sandwich was SUPER bland. We never need to go to this restaurant again.

Zulfiqar Shah

Would not go back. The place was extremely hot food was over cooked and I understand that during covid the wait time is long because of reduced numbers but they did not spread people through the restaurant as both tables beside us were full when their was plenty of empty table around. When we first entered the dining area we noticed how sticky the floor was. I would have left then but my granddaughter had her heart set on eating their for her birthday. Very disappointing. Bathrooms were also very dirty. Staff were plesent no complaints their.

tj hofmann

The atmosphere was really cool. The food was good. The service was slow even to get drinks after the and hour and fifteen minute wait to get it.

Jenna Chapman

The food was good and the staff were very friendly. It was an overall good experience.

Patricia C

I would like to comment a minor incident, the experience was very pleasant here. Kudos to Nicholas who was our waiter. However, there was a promotion of "Join us for a Drink and Keep the cup"... we bought the drinks and the host (Nicholas was gone) told me that we needed to pay for the cups. I don't wanted to argue, but took a picture of the promo... I think it is pretty clear... You guys owe me 2 logo cups!

Divya Gohil

We waited an hour and a half just to get seated. We checked out the arcade, gift shop & fish/shark aquarium. Once inside, the atmosphere is incredible. They even had some stars on one part if the ceiling. If you watch long enough, you can see shooting stars. Every once in a while the gorillas move around the one wall and make noise & an elephant. Server was new and very friendly. Was very surprised with the food after reading reviews about this place. I ordered parmesan chicken. I received 2 large pieces of chicken, bread & linguine. I couldn't finish it all. My daughter had jungle wings and absolutely loved them. My daughter loved their sauce. My mom just had fries & enjoyed them. The only thing I was disappointed with was the glass. On the menu it says if you purchase a drink, you keep the glass. I got a daiquiri. The water took my glass. I asked gim why and he said it's an extra $4 for the glass. That was certainly not on the menue. All in all, its pricey but we will definitely be back

Mike Hudak

Place is amazing we have a 2 year old she loved the place a lot. Our waiter Angie was fabulous, manager came by when I was showing the place to my doughtier and asked us how was everything which is nice. The food was something else we loved it and the amount of meet and food Big Portions. Love it love it love it for sure will come again

Ernesto Polsinelli

Disappointing.. The atmosphere and the decorations in the restaurant were neat. Our waitress was excellent. The table we were initially seated at was very close to the tables infront and behind us, that the backs of our chairs were touching. Even during non covid times it was Claustrophobia. We were at least accommodated with a better seat after asking to be moved. But we came at 4:30 to eat to avoid the rush, if we came later there wouldn't likely be anywhere to be moved to. The prices were hyper inflated. I attempted to view the menu and prices before going. On their website their menus only shows the food and drinks available, and omitted the price. It's not only until you are at the restaurant and get the correct link via the QR code can you actually see the costs. The food was terrible considering the price. The frenchfries are literally the same ones you get for $2 at the costco restaurant. I had the ribs, they were a poor cut of meat, very fatty. My wife had the fish and chips. The fish smelt bad. The point I want to make is, it's a cool place to see the inside of. Come to use the bathroom, then go somewhere else for dinner.

Canadian Critic

The place decoration is great. Food overall not that good (Greasy, overcooked and horrible seasoning). Pricely like every tourist city. You can't walk around the restaurant because Covid regulations. You have to wait between 35 to 45 minutes in order to get a table. While you waiting there is arcade machines beside restaurant. Good for one time visit. Kids will love the forest thematic

Jocelyn Panganiban

My children loved this place. They couldn't get their eyes off the draping vines, monkey animatronics and lightning/thunder show every half hour. Food decent. Service was a little slow but that is almost the same anywhere these days with limited staff issues. Only beef was with the pricing. It was very much on the high side of what I would consider good value for money.

Luis Manso

Celebrating birthdays with my nieces. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was fun. The kids were engaged and loved their food and experience. We have decided to make it a tradition. Our server, Shoana, was great with the kids and a pleasure to be with.

Zenny Zu

After being stuck at home for over a year, this was the perfect restaurant to enjoy with our family! No reservations but a giant arcade to pass the time in while you wait. Kids will really enjoy themselves here especially during the thunderstorms!

Been going to Rain Forest Cafe since I was a kid. Just went again after a decade and still an amazing place to take kids or any animal lovers. HALAL chicken available!

Dwayne Van Amerongen

The atmosphere was amazing and the employees even more so! One thing was odd though of how there was one employee who was stalking around almost looking for trouble or better worded to get people in trouble. Not the cafes fault at all just found it weird. But please do go there!!! The food is great, employees and mostly the lovely atmosphere. Made sure to pick up a lil iggy plush on my way out.

sumeet mittal

Themebased cafe .Decent food and some good drinks!

Terrible Experience at Rainforest Cafe! In Short it took us longer to pay and for our server to bring the check, than it did to eat the underwhelming, and over priced food! At first, huge line to get a buzzer before we were seated. We were told an hour and a half wait, we said sure no problem; it’s a Friday and there will be lots of people even though they’re at 25% capacity. When we got sat at our table, it then took an extra 15 mins for our waiter to come up to us. Waiter Christien was okay, but he seemed to be serving half the entire restaurant! After we ordered it then took an additional 72 minutes to even get our food. Mind you this is at 25% capacity. We had asked if they forgot about our food, and then 10 minutes later our food came out. As we got the food, all of the buns were old and stale, and the lemon chicken sandwich was unbearably dry. All the plating was good, and the only good entree was the Chicken Parmesan. We didn’t bother complaining about the food because we didn’t want to be “those people,” so we asked for our Togo containers, and then proceeded to wait about 10 minutes for those. Now time to get the check, and we thought we’d be out in a jiffy. Nope, we then waited a good 30-35 mins just to get the bill. Mind you to food was so underwhelming we ate in about 15 mins, and were finished. So literally at this restaurant it takes longer to pay than to eat your food. Now as we had finished paying, the waiter just slapped the receipt on the table, no good night, or thanks or anything…and that’s after a $10 tip(15%) Absolutely insane, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially if you have younger kids who get antsy when waiting. Not to mention the prices which were sky high, when you’d probably get a better meal and service for the value at a TGI FRIDAYS, hell even the Clifton Hill Wendy’s!!

Lucas Campbell

Great atmosphere and decor. They have a "thunderstorm" that goes off inside the restaurant every 30min and the animals will move around every 15 min. The fish tank has a live reeftip white shark and an eel and lots of tropical fish. Definitely lots of sights to see. The service was also friendly and timely. The food on the other hand was abysmal. We ordered 1 lbs of mild wings which came with too much sauce, and a bacon chicken sandwich which was cold and flavorless. Overall this is a great place to come with your kids but don't except exceptional food.

Rose Blanche

We had a long wait, but the experience was worth it. It was a cool place to visit. Topped off our visit to Niagra nicely. I do want to also add, that we had someone in our party with a food allergy. And they were so accommodating and very conscious of the allergy. The waitress checked on everything we ordered and let us know what they could and couldn't eat. For her main course, she asked for chicken parmeson, with no sauce, because of the allergy, so they offered to do it with alphredo sauce instead. The Manager even came to our table to let us know they had checked on everything and reiterated what was ok and what wasn't. Very impressive! Then, when our food came, the waitress came to apologize because the cook made chicken parmesan and didn't see the notes to make with alphredo, so we had to wait for her meal. Which we were fine with, but the manager then came back and said they would be taking that off the bill because of the wait!! We didn't ask and didn't expect them to do that, but they did. The service was above all impeccable! Would definately recommend this restaurant. Worth the wait for sure!!

Stanton Brown

Disgusting! Either the foods were freezer burnt, low quality or both! Prices were too high for those junks, and this place has a history of dead bugs in foods!! I even saw a supervisor (or manager) being rude and pushy to a busboy in public—embarrassing, to say the least. If you are a tourist looking for a restaurant to eat, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!

swca

Food was excellent. Service with a smile as always. Kids loved the fish and atmosphere.

neilpark2

There is more often than not a wait, but service has always been outstanding when I take my family here. The food is worth the expense. They treat kids like superstars. It's become a tradition to go here each time we visit the Falls.

Patrick McGann

Great food, friendly staff, nice place

Dave Vesely

Cool atmosphere but the food was incredibly bland and overpriced. A tourist trap forsure.

Vincent Wilson

Amazing place and nice food, but expensive ????

Diane Steele

Super disappointing. Place needs a lot of work and it's clearly an operations issue. Our server was overworked and needed support. Not sure how long we waited for food and I don't want to exaggerate so I'm not going to say a time. I can say that we were there for an hour and a half and our food came out in the last 10 minutes. There was no sorry, no accommodating.Their solution was takeout boxes. The manager actually said that this type of service is typical for a weekend so I guess that's what you can expect. We had a boating excursion booked so we had to leave without eating and obviously we couldn't pack up our food. We paid our bills and our food sat there untouched cause we had to go... super awkward that they offered no comp or anything.

Carol van der Velde

Worst food ever... server brings out our food and my 5 yr old was last to come out.. took 10 min to get it, so everyone else was eating while she watched... and bloody expensive 260 with tip.. not worth it at all and no a/c it was so dam hot... worst place ever dont eat here.

Danyelin Mulrain

Portions were big so the prices are justified. Awesome atmosphere was pretty busy so tool a while for the food to come but it was really good and was cooked well. Drinks are a bit pricy for pop and stuff but overall was good

Kyle Mayne

I went inside the restaurant because it is connected to the Adventure City. It is well design and makes you feel that you're in the middle of the forest. With all the leaves and animal figurines popping out of them makes it unique. They have a shark in the aquarium, not a big one. A souvenir shop and lots of space. Water fall right at the counter too. As it is connected to the adventure city, you can even have the kids playing right outside of the restaurant. Parking around is expensive, there is meter for the street but sometimes the parking can go over 26. The other night (April 20th) it was $20.

Alain Hm

High expectations, poor results. Getting to the point: 1. There was a dead fly in my drink. They changed the drink, apologized but still charged me for that. It was disgusting to see a fly inside. 2. A pasta dish with add-on chicken was ordered, yet empty pasta was received. If the missing chicken would not be noticed, they would charge us extra. 3. They moved us to another table saying for the current table they are expecting a group. No group arrived. 4. We received too many “I am sorry” but nothing was done to recover these negative experiences. Also, the place is overpriced. However, the food was not bad overall. I don’t recommend this place. It could be fun for little kids yet the bad experience and value does not worth it.

Rob Hopkins

The staff were extremely nice here and attentive! They made us feel valued

Kim Kristiansen

Excellent service and great experience at Rainforest Cafe. This place is best for family with kids and young people celebrating.

Sanjeev Mehra

Food was ok but overpriced. But the kids love it. I do recommend this place and will be back.

When in niagara falls...... staff was nice. Food was ok it is what it is :) you go for the atmosphere

Elena&George

When we arrived, we were given a buzzer to let us know when our table would be ready. Almost an hour passed and we decided to ask how much longer it would be. We were told our buzzer's battery had died and we had missed our table. They offered us another table near the bathroom which we took but we were definitely getting whiffs of the bathroom as people went in and out. It took awhile to get our drinks and even longer to get our water. When we finally ordered, the waitress forgot to put our order in and it took close to another hour to get our food. That was pretty frustrating having our baby and toddler with us. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. Thankfully the manager gave us our food for free and we just had to pay for drinks. Despite this effort to make things right (which we genuinely appreciated), I doubt we will return. There were just too many things that went wrong.

Geraint Harvey

My son and I had a great dinner here last week! Loved the rainforest decorations and the food!

Chad Adams

We stayed for a drink in bar side. Waiting for a table. We ended up just giving our table away as we still enjoyed the rain forest from the bar

Cassidy Blanken

Nice restaurant for kids and adults alike. Animals come to life every 15 mins and there is a tropical thunderstorm every 30 mins

It was a great atmosphere and the kids loved it but you need to realize what you are and are not paying for. They intentionally hide the menu prices because they know the prices are crazy. For an ***average lunch with two adults and one child is about $100.00 CAD with taxes and tip***. The food is mediocre. Somewhere between an A&W and a Montana's. A simple burger off the menu is $40.00 CAD with tip and tax. There are no real low cost alternatives, only more expensive. That being said you are not paying for food. You are paying for the rainforest environment, fish tanks, and animatronics. If you are looking for good food at a cheap price this is the very wrong restaurant for you. If you are looking for entertainment while you eat then this place is great. Just remember you are paying for food AND entertainment. P.S. I'm not too impressed with the lengths they go to in order to hide the prices. It certainly feels like a scam when you first open the menu with prices. It's hard to believe that it isn't intentional when they go to such lengths.

Not very impressed with the service. Horrible customer service from the bartender. Doesn't care about the customer. The manager was good and caring and diffused the situation. They charge the tourists tax. Be careful. It's a rip off

Ben Benny

Long wait 1 1/2 hrs to get in. Asked at entrance that we only wanted drinks and a dessert. Once inside sitting they no longer have a dessert menu, just one for kids. They could have told us at the beginning and we wouldn't have waited.. Very disappointed.

Josh Nantais

Food was disgusting. Extremely long wait. Everything was cold or over cooked. Not one person finished their meal. We all left hungry. Worst of all the service was terrible. The manager did come and make the bill right which I can appreciate.

Leo Lo

Great restaurant for families with kids. A little pricey, but the servings are huge and the decoration and animatronics are fun!

Reynante&Merlie Trinidad

I ordered the salmon. It was a strange taste, I've never had it with bbq sauce before. I didn't like it, not sure why they put bbq sauce with it. Small amounts of vegetables but large amounts of rice. $33 meal for $10 taste.

jennifer warner

Food is a bit pricey but worth it great environment for adults and children mojo ribs and ribs combo are super delicious

Sleeping Forest

My girlfriend and I came here tonight after many years (the whole atmosphere inside is just as impressive as I remember with the moving animals, storm simulator etc!) - Our food was fantastic but the service was even better. Our waiter named George was friendly, energetic and good fun, exactly what is needed in light of the current pandemic! The food looks pricey at first look but don’t be fooled, the portions are BIG. Had plenty to take back. Overall, brilliant experience - thank you George!

Kayla Wostal

It was good food. Great place to bring kids. Every 30 minutes a Lightning show happens and the mechanical animals come to life. I should of took the burger, the stir fry was not very good, and the wait for the food is a bit long. Easily 100$ plus on the bill with 3 adults

victor cicchino

Service slow and food terrible. Burger was like a mushy meatball. Wraps like rebaked leftovers. $100 to feel queesy for the rest of the afternoon.

Shawn Gale

Everytime we come to Niagara we go here. It's a must yummy food and every tastier drinks

Mike Port

My 2 year old son was diagnosed with celiac disease last year. When we told the staff they were more then accommodating. They had the head chef and manager come out to talk to us. They went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable with our son eating there, and all the food was delicious! It was much appreciated!

Caleigh Oliveros

This restaurant never disappoints. From Orlando, FL to Atlantic City, NJ and all the way to Niagara Falls the experience here lasts a lifetime. The only restaurant of its kind and excellent food to go with it. My kids love this place!

dimaberezovski

Food is just OK. Service was courteous..strict COVID-19 measures in place. Quite pricey..I guess you pay for the special effects. We had 2 adult mains, 1 kid mean (drink and dessert not included) and the meal cost $100. Our daughter had more fun looking at the animals..as I said, food was just OK.

jean nasrala

This is not the place for a fancy dinner. This is the place you go to entertain the kids and get some decent food. Meals were simple but good. We went at 5pm on a Saturday during March break. We were seated in about 5 minutes. Its expensive like everything else in the area, but you are entertained the whole time. We and the kids loved it. If you skip getting drinks you will save money. Cheapest beer was $6.29. Drinks are not included on the kids menu. You can easily save $20 by getting water. Lots of fun! Go!

Kirk Thomas

Food is as expected and they have some special drinks. Doing well considering the covid limitations. Only problem is a lot of people ignoring the rule mentioned at the door but employees will not say anything about it. People wandering the restaurant without masks to take pictures makes it a little uncomfortable when you're sitting close to one of the animals.

Leon Cheung

Great food! The wait for the table is long. We had to wait for an hour.

Miriam Fox

Honestly wasn't impressed at how the service has gotten. The food was awful, we ended up leaving it when we were finished. Over priced drinks and the server wasn't so friendly. What used to be a fun experience was such a downer. Also, they didn't tell us no cash when entering or before taking our order so when I got a $60 bill for a plate of fries, a cheese steak sandwich and 2 drinks.. I only had $70 and was forced to tip $10 for a terrible meal

Layla So an

Food were good but pricy. Nice place especially if you have little ones. Safari George if I’m not mistaken was courteous and respectful. Our first time to visit and definitely won’t be our last

Greg Bonney

Food was fair but I would expect better for the price

Honey Love

This was my durst time and it was so good. The Rainforest theme was cute for the kids and the food was actually really good. I was pleasantly surprised

John Lacroix

Do not recommend for anyone to visit. Waited over an hour to get a table to walk into empty restaurant with available tables everywhere. When we asked hostess why we had to wait for table if they were available she rudely stated our table was ready . Stated that was not the point and second hostess stated that kitchen was backed up. Horrible service! There were at least 7 waiters standing around doing nothing yet our table was visited every 20 mins. Burger I had tasted like nothing as it was not seasoned. Burger was supposed to be barbecue with avocado yet none were included. Alcoholic drink tasted like water. Even kids food was below average. Service and food sucked and staff do not care to address as this restaurant is in tourist area. Decor in place is cool but would never visit again.

Roger Yick

Super cool themed resturant. Typical Niagara Falls prices. We had great service. The burger was good. Decent strawberry margarita. I felt bad for the shark however Im no ichyologist.

Sean J

The kids love it here! The ambiance is amazing. Prices are a bit heavy, but it is Niagara Falls...

Gianpaolo Lenarduzzi

After a long awaited & last visit to Rainforest in the US, I got to make it here at the Niagara Falls in Ontario. I was wanting to try their cocktails & it did not disappoint me. Mai Tai is a must try and their food is just amazing too. Rich, tasty and large portion sizes will make you feel good & happy. A good place for bringing kids, family & friends. A little pricy than similar options like Chillis or Cheesecake but worth it. Recommended. Enjoy!

Richard Guinot

Bad overpriced food and terrible service… staff are not attentive to customers and rude. Ordered burgers and one was undercooked, they were awful.

anna adamowicz

Great service, waitress are friendly. Love when the thunder star and all the animal star to sound. The food is great, l love it

Jesse Heckley

We were here for my daughter's birthday. The place was really unique and is really entertaining for kids. You can walk around so they wouldn't get bored waiting for food. The food doesn't justify the prices though so I am assuming they are charging for experience. The "volcano cake" which is composed of 4 slices of overcooked brownie or cake, vanilla sundae inside and whipped cream on top is 20 bucks. The service was a little slow, there is a long line up while there are a lot of empty tables (but maybe they have certain procedures before seating guests). Steak was a little on a hard side, everything else is okay. I think going there for the experience once is enough for us.

Ryan M

Good Ambiance. Came here with my partner. Service was Average. After just having appetizer, server comes to our table and ask 'Do you want bill?". Which is inappropriate as we were just there for half hour. There should be a dessert menu, as server gave us false information and got us some huge brownie and vanilla ice-cream, not sure what but Volcano I guess. Was good but not worth it for 2 people.

Joel & Heidi Metcalf

A bit on the pricey side but good food and service! Nice display of animal models though I'm not sure if all can be found in a rainforest. The storm show every 30 minutes was a nice touch.

Blue Room

It was a great place and clean and neat. The staff were very friendly and had good manners. Most importantly, food was way better than I expected. I also really enjoyed the fun atmosphere and events like thurnder and lighting, and moving animals. It was very pleasant whole time. I'll definitely come back here again.

Mark Tartamella

Food was sub par...kids had a good time...

abdul farooqi

Food was really mediocre... like those you can cook at home, and would taste even better. And it’s really really expensive. Two of us each ordered a main, ended up costing 40-50 per person.... Tho the rainforest decoration was nice, with cheerful background music. Not surprised despite the food being very average, the place was packed with families, children were in love with the animals!

I have always loved coming here but this one time the food didn't taste right, something was off I don't know what it was.

Damien Collins

The atmosphere is beautiful. I fell completely in love with it. Monkeys are my favorite animal, my boyfriend had us seated right next to them. We hoped the food would be just as good as the atmosphere and... it was. It didnt disappoint. Our server was wonderful. I'd highly recommend!

Cassandra Welsand

The ambience was incredible as you'd expect, but unfortunately the food was pretty average or good with a huge price tag. The kids portions were very small. Despite being $3 the kids drinks also did not come with refills and my adult drink for $4.50 wasn't refilled once. Had to wait ten minutes for the bill. Overall not a great experience, the kids loved the fish tanks.

cwcb08

Don't like that they play music, it should be rainstorm sounds, food is good but very expensive for portion size

David Pardiac

Food was cold. Service was sub par. And tourist tax has to be removed. In the heat of summer you should not have to find a waiter for water!!!

justin valiquette

Great, fun place for a family meal. Vibrant decor and ambiance. Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Food was very good, would highly recommend the chimi-cha-chas to start. Would be a great place for a birthday or celebration, but is definitely a little pricy.

Yuriy

I would recommend it specially with young kids. Place is definitely one to check out. Alot of great things to see and even explore while waiting for the food. The kids get a little hunt game on their kids menus. The prices are not cheap but they are not super expensive either. I would consider a one time place to visit with the family. Kids meals are reasonable, just note that the desert is not included like in other typical restaurants. If you get their volcano desert, know that it is delicious and big enough to share for I'd say 4 people. I ordered the steak and cant complain. The service is not the best, eventhough we were there on a weekday and it was not very busy but on their defense, our waitress had a trainee with her. Know going in, that the 18% tip is included. They also include a tourist tax so check your bill..you can request to get removed. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Thom N.

Server was great. The food quality is mediocre. Way too expensive for what you get. The thunderstorms and animated animals don't move much. Nothing compared to Florida's Rainforest Cafe. Also a long wait to get in bc of Covid but we played in the nearby adjacent arcade which was fun. One plus was the free slush cups with the toy in the bottom but you pretty much pay for it in the price of the slush. If your kids really are amazed by fish they have a shark in the tank. Just reserve for a table beside the tanks.

taylor clarke

We had a great time, lots to look at and keep the kids occupied while waiting for your food. We shared and app player and 2 kids meals. Kids were impressed, Mom and Dad were satisfied as well! Some really nice fish in the multiple tanks at this location.

The Honest man

Experience wasnt great $40 plate with cheese steak served on a hotdog bun you think it would have been better i mean a $250 bill looked more like mc Donald's served us will not return

Eric Pagett

You go here for the atmosphere but food is ok. Nothing delicious or to crave in their menu but the experience and good frozen drinks.

Yulia

Great atmosphere and specialty drinks, sub par food.l and expensive prices!

Aniah Lashski

A place truly designed for children! Our server helped us get food for the little first and held back the fruit so he would eat his meal! The adult meals were delicious too! The awe and wonder on the little one's face were worth every penny and we are still talking about it a day later! Thanks for a great experience!

Steven L

The only good thing about this place is the environment, the food is not what you expect for what you’re paying. They should renew their quality of dishes.

Alex Daud

Nice to hang out with friends....very good jungle themed ambience...good food good mood

M K

Really neat atmosphere and dining experience. Expensive and food was just okay. When it’s busy they’ll give you a buzzer which they’ll call once a table is available. Check the bill too. There’s an extra fee on top of your expensive meal. It’s called the PF fee on top of what you order. Ask your waiter/waitress about it. There’s an arcade and a gift shop right outside the restaurant. Washrooms are okay.

Absolutely amazing food. A little on the pricey side

Michael Aitken

Fun for the kids for sure. But was $190 for 3 adult meals and 2 kids meals. Just insane for pricing deff a once a year thing.

Cynthia Stevens

Extremely expensive and terrible food and drink. They really have to expand/improve their menu, the options not only were bad, but also sad. The wings were bad, the nachos were bad (how do you get nachos wrong?? ), the beer was bad, the cocktails were bad, the lemonade was bad, the pop (soda) was bad and watery. And somehow this kids restaurant doesn't have desserts in their menu... I am impressed by how terrible it was. Sub par service, they should really keep the restrooms clean... The only thing that was not terrible was the social distancing practices, to which I give a B+. Most expensive and worst restaurant I've been in a LONG time.

Sue Joyce

Good for kids but Extremely expensive for the quality of food

Fransica Buda

The one star is for the amazing decorations of the place. Food was overpriced and less than mediocre, drinks are also overpriced, service was okay ... with an almost empty restaurant we got seated at a table between the restroom entrances! And when we asked to move they started saying that might be a problem and there’s no other table - the place was half empty ! My kids love mash potatoes, but really? A mix? Not even real potatoes? I wasn’t planing on posting a review but decided I should. I think the only thing we enjoyed were fries. In total we loved the decor we were disappointed with everything else.

lucas bazzo

A bit pricy for the food quality. Great servers, fun place for family. You pay for the atmosphere. If you want a great steak go to a steak house.

Dianna Begley

Friendly waitress.. that’s about it! General manager should not be working in the restaurant industry! His people skills are horrible, should probably stick to a job where he can be alone! Dirty glasses, plastic in the kids drinks, but I think the Gms attitude was worse than the conditions of the bathrooms. Water and urine on the floors, paper towel all over the floor, blood in the female washrooms! Instead of helping with the situation, he was very rude and condescending and confrontational. Never be back!

Partha Nag

Really nice atmosphere aimed at families with kids. Came at an off peak time so the restaurant wasn't too busy, but it seemed that staff were a bit chaotic as to what was going on. We weren't seated quickly, and once we finally were it took a while for the server to come by. We didn't get served the water we requested until the end of our meal. The food was average, nothing spectacular. A note to those with small children, they have an indoor 'thunderstorm' with the accompanying loud sound and light effects. It scared our daughter and a few of the children nearby burst into tears. It's a cool effect for older kids but little ones might have a scare.

Rob Hause

This place is awesome, the food is good and drinks are delicious. The environment is very cool and the moving animals and thunderstorm give the place a nice touch. I think the prices are a bit high for the food quality, but other than that is all great.

David Clark

Really well themed restaurant, perfect to take kids. Decent food. Average prices. They have a strict policy on letting you charge your phone.

Robin Fox

Voooooooollllllllcccccccaaaaaaannnnnoooooooooo! You're getting it, face it. Plan for a bit of a wait most times. Not terrible really if you play a few games. It's all about the atmosphere. Food was fine but not amazing. I had the shrimp …

Donella Scott

Service up front was TERRIBLE (slow and rude). Sat at the bar and the bartender was great. The food was average Rainforest Cafe food. Beware...the keep the cup cocktails are an additional $5 on top of the price listed....very deceptive but it's in the fine print.

Minh C

Average Food, Above Average price. Fun experience for the kiddies....as long as they don't mind the occasional thunder and lightning show. A few kiddies get a little unnerved. All said.....it's a worthy destination...but when you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Joanne Reid

Had the most amazing meal at Rainforest today. My family was really happy with the food and service.

Good place for the ambiance. Great for families. They make you feel like youre in a jungle full of animations and animals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However the food wasnt great and its pricy. If ever you are planning to go there ,I would suggest to not take their burgers or the mix grilled plates. It was very ordinary. Maybe the others meals on the menu are better. Your choice.

starbucksShane

It's a neat dining experience for the kids. I would say the food is a touch overpriced, but to be expected, being an 'attraction' and the food quality is fair. The ambience and decor is what you are going for. May not be for everyone.

Lisa Matthews

Prices are pretty crazy but atmosphere is great for the kids . Staff is very friendly. Food was like pub food .

Renee Greaves

Every 30 minutes they do an animal like sound and light show. They have fish tanks and the atmosphere there is unbeatable BUT (big but) my wife, 5 year old and a I went. Didn't even get the expensive stuff and my daughter got a kids meal and still spent, with just a measly $10 tip, $95. (because the waitress only came to our table 3 times. To great us, drinks, and bill. No refills or anything but none really required). I would say if you got it, the food is good but it is just as good at a much cheaper restaurant.
