Fantastic experience with Agnes! I was nervous at first with the idea of microblading, but Agnes did such a great job of taking her time to walk me through the process. After getting half my eyebrows removed via threading over 10 years ago and having to pencil in my eyebrows, I decided to go see Agnes at The Brow Room. Prior to this procedure, I would spend almost 30 minutes putting my eyebrows on every morning. After my first session, I was amazed at the result! Not only did my eyebrows look fuller, the very shape of them were finally even! Hallelujah! I followed her instructions on aftercare and they healed nicely. By the time I went in for my free touch up six weeks after, they still looked quite nice. After the touch up, I am even more pleased at the results even though they are still healing. Am 66 yrs young and have never posted a review but took the plunge for the Brow Room. Unlike other establishments I researched, Agnes only does brows and she is a master! Agnes is AWESOME!! From the moment I walked through the door she greeted me with a warm welcome and a bubbly personality. I had been referred to Agnes by my sister who had her brows micro bladed almost 4 years ago and they still look PERFECT, so I knew that Agnes would be my best bet. The treatment room is clean and sterile and along with Agnes's professionalism I instantly felt relaxed and that I was in very good hands - I mean it's a little daunting getting something tattooed on your face, so the immediate sense that I could trust Agnes was extremely important to me. She throughly analyzes the shape of your brows including how they move with your facial expressions to create the exact shape and arch that will complement your look the best. The whole appointment flew by as I was comfortable and had almost zero discomfort throughout the entire procedure. It was a little shocking at first to see how dark my eyebrows were but Agnes assured me that they would fade 25-40% and not to worry. Over the course of the next few days, after following all of her aftercare instructions, my brows began to look better and better. Now it's been almost 4 weeks since my treatment and I could not be happier!! My brows make me so happy every single morning, as a mommy to a 2 year, bc I can get up and go and feel 100% more confident bc of the impact having perfect brows make even without a stitch of make up on! Great experience! Agnes is so easy to talk with:) She was very professional and explained everything to me in detail to ensure all was understood and to go over what was best for my situation.I had some challenges for her to try and correct from previous brow tattooing I had done..she did a beautiful job. Agnes is truly talented with tattooing real looking brow hairs. I did freak out a little in the first few days that my brows appeared dark and bigger than what I thought but this started to fade and was just part of the process but not the end result. Agnes really knows what she is doing and she takes time for proper measurements and outlines everything very carefully before she does anything to ensure all is very even and suitable for each persons facial features. She also makes sure she tells you everything she is doing including; that you see her open a brand new needle for your procedure. I am happy to have met Agnes she is a very comfortable person to be around, making my a experience easy. My primary reason to visit Agnes at The Brow Room was to explore saline tattoo removal. I had previous work done many years prior and it was discolouring and fading. I felt ready for a thorough brow refresh. We did three sessions to fade the pigment and then we began on my new brow journey. We felt a combo of powder filling and hair strokes would be best to fill in some barer spots on my brows (overplucking in the 90's, a scar from childhood). She really mapped out the shape and now my brows are looking closer to twins rather than just sisters! She does a nice groomed brow! Also, we chatted and laughed a lot- a total bonus!

Let me start off by saying, I waited 39 years of my life to find The "One". I didn't know that she was so close to my place but when I finally get to decide if I should take care of my eyebrows I knew I would leave it to someone who from the get go would be so natural. Then saw her IG account, all fantastic review, then someone said she did not feel bored during that 3 hour process. So check. Then spotted a cute frenchie on her page that's the time I decided to contact her and book my appointment. She made me feel comfortable even it was my very first ink or microblading. She's very chatty so a 2 to 3 hour process would feel like half an hour. I like her style coz she is very genuine. Her clinic is so clean and tidy and welcoming. Best of all she follows up casually. Agnes can connect to your soul right away and this is her passion. No awkward silence plus she kept me awake the entire time. So figure. When it's her passion that means she strive for the best. I had the good fortune of finding Agnes/The Brow Room via her excellent reviews on Google. Over the decades, I have certainly had lots of experience with both talented and not-so-talented eyebrow technicians. I can say that Agnes definitely falls in the first category of talented cosmetic tattoo artist! Agnes is meticulous and professional in her process. She pays particular attention to make sure your brows are proportionate and will work with your individual features to achieve an optimal result. Not only are her technical skills of the highest ability but Agnes is also so, SO NICE!! If you are going to spend 3ish hours with someone (I also got a superb lash lift done at the same time), it might as well be with someone who is easy to chat with! Agnes also proved her easy-going charm in dealing with my 80-yr-old mother whom I also brought to get her brows done for the first time. My mom has never had anything close to a cosmetic procedure before so was extremely nervous. She changed her mind about doing the procedure several times and Agnes was entirely gracious throughout my mom's waffling back and forth. At the end, my mom had her brows done too and they also turned out beautifully! We are both just a few days in our recovery process but so far, our results are excellent and I am sure we will be fully happy with our end look. She went over how long each step would take, showed me the outline of my new brows before tattooing, coordinated the perfect colour for my skintone and hair, and made sure I was pain-free during the whole process. She was patient in her approach and was very accommodating when I told her I had a very sensitive brow area. The room was tidy and clean. The Brow Room also followed up the day after to ensure everything was healing properly and any swelling (if at all) had resolved itself. Last week I overcame my fears and got my eyebrows micro-bladed- a decision I had been thinking of for quite some time but had not got around to doing. After doing some online research I came across the Brow Room- a home studio located in Burnaby. With a competitive price, professional studio and website, along with many photos of her talented work upon her Instagram page- my decision was easy. Upon online enquiry, Agnes phoned me the same day to discuss options of appointment times, and dealt with the many questions I had for her, and offered some preparation advice. My appointment was booked for the week following. Upon the day of my treatment I was greeted by Agnes at her home studio. I felt very comfortable upon arrival, and after filling in a short health related questionnaire we got down to the business. Agnes allowed me time to explain the look I wanted to achieve via me showing some photos. Next thing I was getting various angles and lines drawn upon me with a chalk stringline. I had never known there were so many angles to consider! I could tell immediately Agnes has a keen eye for detail and the many stringlines assisted her in achieving the perfect eyebrow shape. With the lines in place, Agnes then stencilled around the outside for me to then see and decide if they needed any adjustments. This was great as it was the first glimpse I got of my new brows! No adjustments were made, I was happy with her outline and therefore we got straight into numbing the area (with numbing cream) in preparation for the procedure itself. During this time Agnes applied some colours to my skin to see how they developed and allowed me to choose which I thought matched my current colour. Agnes mixed 2 colours together to make the perfect match for me. Having never had a tattoo, I was quite concerned at how painful this was going to be. Agnes was very reassuring and went slowly in order to see that I coped. She informed me I would likely feel a scratching sensation and this was very accurate. There was no pain, just an odd scratching sensation. Before I knew it they were done! We had chatted away so much that the time had flown right on by. Upon initial glimpse in the mirror I was ecstatic. I finally had the brows I had wanted for so long- no more pencilling them on daily! Agnes has done a brilliant job in creating the look I wanted! I could not be happier. I was sent home with a set of aftercare instructions which I have followed diligently. I could be happier. I cannot wait to return for my touch up appointment (in six weeks, all inclusive) to show Agnes how my brows have settled, I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her services!

Agnes was the sweetest technician I have ever met. My sister previously had her eyebrows microbladed by another technician and from her horrible experience that I swore I would never get mine microbladed. After letting the color fade, she found Agnes through lots of research and reading reviews/testimonials and decided to give her a try (thank god she did!). My sister's eyebrows turned out so pretty and natural and the shape was super suited for her face. After she got her follow-up touch-up, I caved in and decided to get my brows done as well. Agnes was super experienced with what she was doing and spent a lot of time measuring out and perfecting my brows to exactly what I wanted before doing the actual microblading. She matched my brows to my face and was very knowledgeable on what brow shape fits what face shape, the perfect color against your skintone/haircolor, and exceeded my expectations. Let me just get this out there - I am very VERY happy with my eyebrows - Agnes at The Brow Room is awesome! I've never had a tattoo so the thought of getting microblading was scary for me. I did my homework - read reviews, asked people, etc., but ultimately, I have to make a decision that I could live with. I decided on The Brow Room Cosmetic Tattooing because it's close to home, the photographs I've seen and the reviews I read were all good and everyone seemed satisfied with the result. There was no bad review. Agnes is so nice, she made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in - I'm sure she can sense how scared I was. She was very knowledgeable - she knows her brows! I came in thinking I am just getting a simple microblading, but after further discussions with her, I ultimately went for the combo brows and I am so glad I did! She took her time mapping my eyebrows - Ladies, you need your technician to take their time, no rushing! She showed me what she's done, made sure that before she proceeded that I was happy with it. There's some pain, but it is tolerable - do not be afraid! The procedure itself took 3 hours, but it didn't feel that long because you spent a lot of time chatting with Agnes! After the procedure, she gives you a paper, she writes down your next touch up appointment. You want to keep this. I read this and re-read this paper over and over again. I wanted to make sure that I don't screw it up - Agnes has done her part, it's now all on me to make sure I don't screw it up! I had my touch-up today and I can report to you dear readers that Agnes was happy that I did not screw it up (me too!). I followed the piece of paper that Agnes told me, it tells you what to do after your treatment and what to expect - very informative! I could have gone for a $300 microblading, but would I get the same compliments I get now? All my friends compliment my eyebrows - I was one of those women that over plucked their eyebrows. Again, I am very happy and very satisfied with my eyebrows! Thank you Agnes!!
