I've had multiple pieces done with Lana and couldn't be happier. Her custom pieces are very original - The tattoos I've gotten have been request based custom pieces and she's knocked them all out of the park. Until one of us moves I will continue getting work done with her.

I found this place very unapproachable and intimidating. Their atmosphere is very old school and they have a very unfriendly vibe. I definitely dont recommend coming here.

I had a great experience as I got my first big piece done at Avalon. Lud, the owner connected me with their travelling artist, Zennie and the entire process starting from the consultation to the finished piece was very smooth. I was extremely happy with me piece and Zennie accommodated all my requests and suggestions.

Great shop. Fantastic work from Lud. Would 100% recommend Lud to anyone who wants his style. Have been here a few times to have my tattoo done. The shop has a great family + friends vibe. Very mellow. I also like the art and atmosphere.

Onto my second sleeve with Phoenix from Avalon tattoo. She is very talented, knowledgable and makes the process enjoyable. Her work is top notch (get tons of compliments on my arm sleeve, and on the recent work starting my leg). The tattoo shop as a whole group is open and it shows through how they all deal with each other on the day to day. Ive been to several tattoo shops and this one takes the cake for me - I would love to have a chat with the people who rated this shop negatively and see what their issues really are lol

I’ve been to both Lana and Lud, their work is pristine! Both artists are detail oriented, they listen to what you’re looking for and create things beyond your imagination. Every time I go to the shop it’s an effortless, enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Lud, Lana, and Avalon Tattoo Collective.

Be very careful of the artist Phoenix Hamilton at Avalon Tattoo Parlour, I had an appointment scheduled for noon, I waited outside till 12:30 until the owner told me she was not there. She didn't get back to me until the next day when I politely requested my deposit back, as I took the day off work etc. She refused to refund me and effectively stole from me as I never signed any sort of agreement. I've attached a picture of her actual work, not the selective assortment of photos she chooses to post on Instagram. (Supposed to be a village and a forest, lol). Always do your research this review is posted entirely from my own opinion, perspective and personal experience. I am not attempting to dissuade anyone from conducting business with the company.

Just wanted to give Avalon Tattoo Collective a big shout out especially to my artist Phoenix. Full leg sleeve down and just started some more fun pieces with her. Can’t wait to book more and more work with her as she blows me away each time with how realistic my pieces are and I absolutely love them! Love this shop! Everyone is so nice and super professional! My tattoo artist Phoenix I have been with her for almost a year and she has been doing my arm! Completely professional and super kind and very easy to get along with!!! If you looking for an awesome artist to do realism shes the person! Can’t wait till we finish up my sleeve! I started seeing Pheonix last year for a full colour cuff and I am so happy with the results. The design and colours are so beautiful - I'm amazed every time I look at my arm. I was a bit nervous to commit to a large visible tattoo but I am so glad I did and the artist I chose was a big part of that satisfaction. Pheonix is a great artist to work with - she is dedicated to creating works of art through her craft. She is up to date about health and safety precautions. She is precise in her inking and her eye for colour is outstanding. She is easy to work with and makes an effort to accomodate changing schedules. I've had to reschedule two different sittings because of work and it was a simple thing to find a different date that worked. She is available for questions and responds very quickly - especially when it comes to after care. I look forward to working with her in the future.
