I have been a customer of skin decision for my tattoo and piercing needs for quite a few years now. The staff is absolutely amazing, a few minutes after walking through the door you feel completely at ease and welcomed. After a recent visit I was scared to death to have a piercing done. Julie walked me through it and kept the conversation light and distracting enough that I wasn't nervous. The piercing itself was super quick. She had me pierced and the jewellery in place before I even knew it! After all was said and done I left completely satisfied with my new piercing and the whole experience in general. APP certified, sterile, welcoming, and professional. They've got a ton of hand selected, hand crafted, sustainable and APP approved jewelry and offer mapped out and curated ear piercings! If you've got a minor who wants their ears pierced I highly recommend a consultation/appoitment with these folks, it's endlessly safer and less ouchie to get their ears pierced with a needle than with a piercing gun.

First off, this location is a little tricky to find, but other shops in the building were more than happy to help point me in the right direction. I initially went into Skin Decision because I was having problems with an irritation bump on a 6 month old nostril piercing. The Legit Piercing reddit had recommended Olivia or Julia, but when I arrived at SD I found that they only frequent their second location outside of the city. Claire is actually the APP piercer in this location, and she was amazing! We got me outfitted with a much tighter piece, and I'm happy to say it definitely eliminated the irritation bump. Claire was patient, and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns from moving to a nostril screw to a straight post. I'm very happy with my piece, and I would definitely trust Claire with any future piercings!

their website should be updated in regards to pricing and sales, but i was in about a year ago and had a really successful nose piercing! the staff was super friendly and very covid - safe, and my piercing healed beautifully. it’s pretty pricey here but it’s worth it, i legitimately had 0 issues with the healing process and it was an overall pleasant experience. i plan on going back soon!

I had a bad experience with another place that did my last piercing so I was very picky and asked a lot of questions but she was awesome and answered everything. Apart from that she is a true artist. Very detail oriented which I love and she was supper thoughtful. Kept saying encouraging words when she was doing the piercing. I can't say enough good things about her. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely go back and do more piercings with her. The prices are not low but I think it's definitely worth it.
