I love my tattoo, I love my artist and I love this place. They treat every person who comes through their door with respect. The artist thoroughly explain the procedure and genuinely like what they are doing. Justin did my artwork. He gave me exactly what I wanted, where I wanted it. I had gone with my son just to hang out and watch. When I saw how clean the location is, and I watched & witnessed Justin's work on my son's tattoo, I decided, on the spur of the moment, that it was time for my first tattoo! My son Jack decided to treat me for my 52 birthday which was just days away. This really was one of the best gifts I have ever been given!I am already planning my next 2 visits!

Just recently started going to this shop, buddy of mine recommended I go to Ray for japanese/polynesian work. Great experience, the shop itself is always clean, all the workers are very welcoming making you feel like family. Ray is a true artist and really invest his time into the craft, he’s very open to what designs you have to offer and he himself sketches lots of different styles of tattoos. Professional, Clean, overall great experience and will be coming back for more work. Thanks guys!!!

A color piece about 3 inches round cost double what it would have elsewhere. Showed it to a friend who had work done here, a lot. (former neighbor of the owner) and she was shocked at the price he charged. Now, we both are never going back. I'm using amaryllis tattoo design for everything. Half the price, better quality. In NJ, I'd recommend immortal ink.

Not a positive experience. My first tattoo was at revolver last year , and my artist was Chris. But when I went in this year , looked like he left the place. I hate to write negative reviews but I think I should write, and save some people their time. I went in and talked to two guys( unfortunately don't know their names). I told them my idea for my tattoo, which honestly was not anything outside this world. Both the guys tried to came up with the design , and we went back and forth for 2-3 times. One of the guys came to me and said this doesn't look that great , do u want to rethink your idea. I walked off. It looked like they are disinterested in doing the work, or let's say to come up with an idea which would work. I understand all artists are not at same level and I should not have my expectations based on the pictures they have in the tattoo parlor. These are the things which I think made my experience not that great. 1. Lack of professionalism . When you are talking to customer , you should give 100% attention to that customer, which didn't happen in my case. When I was explaining my tattoo, he was getting distracted by people walking in and started talking to them. 2. They should have put more effort - When I have them my idea, they couldn't do it . They should have worked with me , rather than telling me to rethink it. Or should have told me to talk to a different artist who does that kind of work. 3. Showing disinterest in the customer. I am 100% sure , not everyone going to revolver had bad experience and their must be some great artists working. But this was my experience. When I walked out of the parlor , I was discouraged and started to rethink my tattoo. I googled other tattoo place and found : Anchor tattoo company, and got a great tattoo without rethinking my design. Ps: my positive review for anchor tattoo company -vik

Went here for my first tattoo, very nice place, very clean, welcoming employees, just wouldn't say they do the good artwork, would go here more for small tattoos and not detailed ones i forgot who did my tattoo i believ it was Ray, he went too deep with the needle and made harsh lines that were hard to correct when i had it redone elsewhere highly recommend a Seppuku tattoo in Bloomingdale for detailed work.

Wish i could give more than five stars!!!Amazing shop! Chill atmosphere and people! My husband and I got 2 tattoos within a few days and Manos (our artist) was completely accommodating. He's a fantastic artist and i highly recommended him!! Great at details and super honest when it comes to placement and design of your design! Prices are super reasonable! The front desk guy (Roman..i think) a cool guy. He does his job the way he is supposed to , so dont give him a hard time! He's actually a real chill person!! Thanks guys so much , for everything!! Went there for my first tattoo, and overall it's a pretty nice place. It's clean, nicely decorated, and it has good music. Everyone who works there is respectful and professional, and the prices are very reasonable. My artist was Jessica, and she made my tattoo exactly like the picture, despite my frequent twitches. I'm not gonna lie, my tattoo (on the wrist) hurt worse than I'd ever expected, but I can't really blame the parlor for that.

Tattoo shop is alright, however it is overpriced and one artist Pedro/Manos overcharges for okay work that he sometimes doesn’t even seem happy to do. Will rush to tattoo you in ways you didn’t ask for and say he made it better when in fact he just makes its worse. Do yourself a favor and take your money and thoughts elsewhere where you feel heard and respected.

I can’t say enough positive things about Revolver Tattoo Shop. I started going to this place in my 40s and I always end up going with the owner doing my tattoos because that’s who I feel comfortable with. Let’s say that he told me that I would be back. I told him no…getting too old for this, but he was right… I will be going back in a couple of weeks for my 3rd tattoo. LOL! The place is immaculate and very fair pricing. Chuck is very down to earth, if you give him a picture of a tattoo, he tweaks it and has an eye for what will look right on your body. The owner, yes, the owner, actually takes his time with you when you go in for a consultation. I absolutely love this place and I recommend them all of the time. My first recommendation was my daughter and she was very pleased as well. I will be headed back to them for my 3rd tattoo and then that is it… Ok, might go back for just one more. LOL

They followed covid protocols well.. overall we had a very satisfactory visit .. only issue is the parking . Very very difficult to find a parking around. I originally got my first tattoos at 16 and it wasn’t a matter of me being an impulsive teen who just wanted them to look cool, I always wanted tattoos and it wasn’t what I got tatted but a problem of who I went to. I came in August to get a piece done. I emailed the artist I was assigned a week before the appointment and got no response which I should have saw as a red flag. Long story short, the design he created wasnt what I had in mind and I tried to trust his professional opinion since Austin is a 13 year veteran but it looks absolutely nothing like what I asked for. I sent emails out for a reason so I could have more feedback about the design and make sure it was too my liking. I should have been able to see a finalized version of the piece before the day of the appointment. If I did I would have went to a different shop with a different artist who would have been able to give me what I wanted. I understand you "don't copy other people's work" but if I give you a design as a reference, at least try to make it look like what I asked for. Now I'm stuck with something I absolutely HATE on my arm forever. You should have a better consultation process and I should have been able to see designs before the appointment and I should have been able to talk to the artist who would be doing my piece when I initially came into the shop not the receptionist. The scorpion looks nothing like the one I showed him and the piece is so busy its lost in all the clutter. And the lines/dashes are so disjointed and unnecessary. It looks silly and makes it look like I have a lollipop on my arm

VERY clean, very friendly and very knowledgeable. I have had two tattoos done here (one large, one small) and both have come out flawlessly. This place is a bit more expensive than others, but you are paying for quality. The staff is very helpful and they really know what they are doing. I've had tattoos done other places and no other shop I've been to rivals Revolver's cleanliness or level of professionalism. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone interested in a high quality tattoo.

Not going to name the artist out of respect for his reputation, but I was given a very poor cross tattoo on my forearm. Very patchy, shaky line work, and the top was crooked. asked if I could have it fixed before I left for college but was told to make another appointment which was way out of my time frame. Im now looking do laser tattoo removal which is going to cost a fortune considering I’ve only had it for a few months. Overall not a great experience.

First went to Revolver on a recommendation to see Austin. He did on tremendous job. Went back to the location due to convenience and availability once again despite him not being there. The people who work there are great guys and really personable. They lack a bit in communication however, as I was waiting nearly an hour and a half after being told I’d be taken in 30-40 min. Not a huge deal, but a little frustrating. I got a simple tattoo (outline of a Wawa bird). The work took less than 10 min (including prep and cleanup) and they charged $100 for it. It certainly felt high, but was most likely the shop minimum so I’m not gonna complain about that. They did everything the right way in going over proper ways to clean the area, keep it hydrated, etc. very professional in my experience. I’ve got absolutely no complaints about how they handled it or the work done. Yes it was a simple job, but his line work was awesome and they were pros. I’d probably go back for my next one

I was supposed to go in for a tattoo with a friend, but ended up not being able to get one. The tattoo artist, Marz, ended up tattooing my friend and an additional friend. He was rude and had a weird sense of humor. Was very impatient and rude about what my friend wanted to get and made comments that were insensitive. Overall, the two tattoos my friends got were okay. Definitely won't be going back to him for my tattoo. If you all get a chance to choose, think about who your artist is. He also over charged for my friend's tattoo, which was only a short set of song lyrics.
