Such a useless waste of time for a pawn shop. Everything is priced like its brand new and they don't take ANYTHING on pawn. No computer accessories, no headphones, no wireless speakers, no tools, no personal items, no silver, no electric household items (vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, steam cleaner ) What a waste of space

ok sometimes not all the times bought a Xbox 360 there they give me a game they just bought from someone without even looking to see if its scratched or not i get home (45 min walk) to find out the game does not even work....have to waste more time in my day to go return a broken game to them because it did not work

So it pains me to even write this, as I LOVE this store! But my last experience was simply horrid. I decided this is the year, I will learn to play guitar. I drool over some of the guitars in this store, and have always dreamed of learning to play. Well I am here, not a pro yet, but playing. I bought a left handed guitar when I started in December, but learned to play right...so I brought the brand new guitar in to trade. I was previously quoted 150 on a trade not once...but twice from two different staff members, but nothing was in stock so I kept returning until I found THE GUITAR. And then...I did. I found a Taylor 214CE on the wall, and it HAD to be mine. So off to my car I go to get the lefty, and trade in so I could at least put the Taylor on Layaway for a few days until I could transfer the rest into my bank account. The man behind the counter tore me apart, my new lefty was NEVER set up, and he tore it apart, saying he could only give me 100 when the other staff all told me 150. Okay fine. Then he tells me he cannot do it. Then he tells me it will cost me 39.00 on top of the trade, then that turned into 139.00 on top of the trade. THEN he tells me, I better not let this guitar become like the lefty I just traded, that I BOUGHT A MONTH PRIOR! Then he tells me it will not let him do a layaway for me, so I got upset. And finally another young man came over and we finished the transaction...FINALLY. I have NEVER been to belittled and treated so badly when I am buying an instrument for 799.00 plus tax. As I mentioned before, what a bad experience. And two days later, I did return to that store, and I did bring home my Taylor guitar, complete with lemon oil and humidity packs so I do not ruin this like I apparently did the left handed guitar I bought in December of 2019. Let me say this...the staff here may be knowledgeable on setups, and products, and the worth of those products. But I almost went to Long and McQuade after the way this person acted towards me, and rented the Taylor 224CE. You will lose business if people are treated this way on a daily basis. I have been a customer of Parlour Pawn since 2003, and I have never seen a staff member so absolutely rude and belittling. But after all this.....Ahhhhh Look at this beauty! Thank you Parlour Pawn for my first Taylor guitar!!! :D

I have had nothing but good experiences in this store. They are very fair when buying and selling merchandise. Very friendly staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable and clean cut. No you will not see any staff members walking around with their pants henging down to their knees. Lol. Great place!!!!!

I love this place and the staff. Always a good chat with whoever is working and they're always able to help with usually whatever you ask them. They have decently priced items. Especially dvds and seasons of shows which are my favorite to buy, and Nintendo ds games. They have all kinds of systems and games. Musical instruments. Electric work tools, tools. And also a spot to pawn your items don't forget it is a pawn shop. I just prefer this one over all in town cause they have more selection than any other.

Store full of staff chatting, trying to sell a in the box brand new Google Home. At first sounded like they weren't interested then offered 30$ for something brand new worth 180$ everywhere else. Used to do business with them but seems like their customer service went down the drain. Thank goodness for Kijiji ????

I have seen no issues so far. The pawn or sell prices are normally fairly good. Staff are knowledgeable. The only flaw is when I come by there is never anything I want. I did see some desktops I would be interested in.

Unbelievable, I had the worst experience. The first thing that went wrong was a guy who was helping me tripped over me because he was barging in, as I was walking to see a product the clerk at the computer was looking up. He then raised his voice and said "stay out of my counter". No I never even entered the counter, I opened my mouth to explain, and he raised his voice even louder and said stay out of my store. Then he made me look up the computer and then immediately left... I swear to this store this, first of all my aunt's a lawyer, and I can not wait to find something to take to the better business bureau, I'm from Rothesay and I thought saint john was bad, but this store is the worst I've been to. As I say I'm going to go out of my way to find any info to take to the better business bureau you can be damn sure of that parlor pawn. I am going to go out of my way and ask my aunt and cousin who are both corporate lawyers what I can take to the better BBB office, and I am so excited. How dare you touch me in a store and then yell at me...

Been shopping at Parlour Pawn since I was a kid, and it's only gotten better and better as the years go by. Staff and management is exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable in every department, and they have a huge selection of quality items at great prices. One of my favorite places in Moncton!
