Recently I've gone to this store as I've discovered they're one of the only locations in Fredericton which sell Testor's model paints. If you go, I find this store is always clean and everything easy to find. I do find they often have sales that you should watch for and take advantage of, as they do occur regularly and usually have large savings (i.e. 50% off)

Michaels is the best Craft Store Ever!! There is so much of different colors and shapes of one product. And their Frame department is great. Also having different classes are good. I actually took the cake decorating classes and I loved it. For all of your crafty needs Michaels is the place to go.

Craft store that has great choices for many things. If you are in a hurry and have no time to order things online, this store will be a good choice. I normally do not buy full price items as it always has discount coupons available. So, checking its website for coupon is a must before you pay (aim for 40% to 60% off). Someone may still gets their printed flyer. The coupons are in there too.

This is traditional Michaels store, not a whole lot to say about it. Employees are friendly and helpful. Fairly large and generally has a good selection of stock. Parking lot can be difficult to get out of if you are turning left towards Costco.

wow I just called the framing department to get a quote to have a 24" x 40" canvas stretched and they quoted me $300. I've had the exact size canvas stretched for $72 taxes in. But they did offered friendly service.

I use to love going to Michaels but lately every time I go in there things that say they’re ‘50% off’ or ‘buy one get one free’ signs actually aren’t. You always have to read the fine print. Also anytime I try to use one of the coupons on a regular priced item, the stuff I want never qualifies but if you want to go buy the same things for double the price and then use the coupon that’s ok. No thanks. Things are just too over priced and I’m tired of being disappointed.

Had most of what I was looking for. Sizes were decent too for myself it's hard finding things that fit my lenght but aren't too big waist wise. Pants were a bit short but with a 32 waist it usually is. Friendly staff and decently priced!

I love how much stuff they have, they always have a big selection. I'm only giving 3 stars because I do find the prices are sometimes on the high side and the staff haven't always been helpful. There was one woman who asked if we needed help and she quickly lost patience with my grandmother and very rudely asked us if we were done because she had to go somewhere else. She didn't say anything wrong exactly but her demeanor was not very kind or sympathetic.

I bought Cricut supplies. There was a sale on Cricut vinyl, buy 3, get 1 free, I didn't realize this & picked out only 3. Most stores tell you, when you pay, so if you want to go pick out one more, it would be free. I realized when I got to car & checked online flyer to see if I might want anything else, so of course, I went back in to get my free one. The other thing about this store is that the selection of cricut iron-on vinyl is not that great. A lot of the basic colors are always out of stock. Fredericton, NB

Normally I'd give Michaels 5 stars, I've been using their yarns for years. Bernat blanket yarn esp, which I've found to be of good quality. However the last time I bought their Pink Dust color and had to return one ball, only to find it's replacement of equally poor quality. It actually pulls apart when tugged slightly to knot it. Also, numerous breaks in the ball of yarn. So dissapointing!

My experience at Micheals today was very disappointing. With several new cases of covid in the province today, including one in Fredericton, I was very surprised to see three different cashiers handling each item that I purchased. I stated that I did not think it was necessary at which time the apparent manager came over and said In a less than friendly manner- there is training going on and all use hand sanitizers often( I saw no use of sanitizers during my transaction) Even after I mentioned the handling, it was as if I was not heard with the second and third person continuing to handle my items.(I think one would have been sufficient, reducing the risk of transmission of covid significantly). There was no tap for debit machine and had to handle the machine to insert card. The apparent manager was standing at the door when I walked out with my purchases and said, again in a less than friendly manner, “Have a nice day”. At that point, that gesture was uncalled for as she was well aware that I was having less than a good experience at this store. I found that quite inappropriate. I will never be returning to this store again. I was tempted to leave my large purchase there and not complete the transaction, however, the purchases were for my very senior mother-a further reason for being extra careful with covid precautions. I gave one star for the one lady cashier who appeared to understand my concerns and was kind.
