only good things to say, AJ was great, i couldn't have asked for a better result. the whole crew there are good dudes . AJ might be they young gun but his work is fascistic, easy 3 hours, good guy to talk to. the group of clients were fun to be around as well. my wife is going back Thursday to get some ink. great atmosphere, great work, very competitive price.

Went there 3 times and still don’t have a tattoo.. called to make an appointment. Was told that it’s a direct walk-in.went there twice only to be told to come back a day later . Even after checking the timings online and calling and asking them , the guy was rude enough to say we are shut at 6pm when I was told on the phone that they are open till 8pm. Not going there again. Pathetic service

The best place to get tattoo. Artists here are very understandable and sympathetic to fear of pain. I was the worst and most anxious client ever. They made me feel comfortable through out the process. The shop is clean which is very important as well. Thank you so much. Keep up the great job.

My husband and I went there sept 26 to get matching tattoos of our zodiac signs intertwined with our anniversary date. Max did an amazing job, was very honest and professional.It came out EXACTLY like the design picked. We definitely wil be visiting him for future tats..

Only reason they get a star is because we have to rate it. No kind of structure or rules in place. Stay away from Manny worse artist their is. He can talk a game but absolutely no good. Not only does his work suffer but he set up multiple appt for me and never showed up he always had an excuse he was either getting food or it was his day off!!! Worse part is this shop doesnt have a shop manager to keep things in order so basicall u have a bunch of artist who just rent the space and make their own rules and come as they go! Dont waste your time... Better Tattoo shops in Elgin!!!

Wow!!! Let me just say Kyle is the best! My friend went in and got a tattoo done and was super scared but he made her super comfortable. He did just what she wanted and made everyone feel so welcomed. I can't wait till I get my own tattoo and go here. Was so pleased!!

Aaron Maida is working on a sleeve for me and I cant say enough good things about him. His willingness to work with my schedule, line work, shading...all top notch. Part of the sleeve is a cover up and his ability to figure out ways to hide the cover without looking like a cover up is amazing. If you are looking for work, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Aaron.

Tim Bast did a remarkable job turning my original idea of an all black sun into vivid piece of tribal art. Keep an open mind because he has a great insight and vision into an ideas you bring to him but continues to have great respect for what you ultimately want. Personally I'm a "go with the flow" type so I was open for almost anything for this particular piece. He is very professional and methodical in his work and overall just a fun guy to talk to. The shop is very friendly and welcoming from when you first walk in. Had a great experience, can't wait to go back!

I went there on the 17th of July with my boyfriend so we could get some prices on a tattoo. We were greeted right as we walked in the door and Kyle, an artist, came up and talked with us right away. He gave us an amazing price and got to work drawing the tattoo. Once things got started, it was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Kyle was so into the work. My boyfriend's tattoo turned out to be a masterpiece and it's still not finished.

Got a gift cert for Xmas. Aaron did my tattoo, he's awesome. I'm a quiet canvas, he used a single needle for my piece and is very detail oriented. He's super knowledgeable about inks, shading, linework. I am so in love with what he did. Shop is funky. Love the vibe, it has a southwest meets steampunk feel, almost a burning man type gig.

I got my first tattoo here and I was SO nervous about the whole process and what it would be like. I was so pleased about my whole experience you walk in and the shop smells clean and looks clean which is always good. My artist Bud was really nice and he kept telling me that I was doing good and really calmed my nerves down and really made me feel comfortable and excited to get my first tat. I highly recommend this shop everyone I interacted with was incredible.

There's something to be said about walking into a tattoo establishment and being made to feel welcomed there. So many others you can walk into and cut the arrogance in the air with a knife. They either never have time for you, or just blow off your calls/emails..So kudos to Wolf Sparrow for treating us like valued guests from the beginning and making time for us since we have non-set work schedules. Making appts is hard for us and they're super accommodating. I wanted my Son's tatt fixed that he had done in AL. Kyle got us in the next day, knocked it out in 10 minutes and did an excellent job. I'm super happy with the results and they don't overcharge you. Very fair pricing.

I read a lot of good reviews about this place, so I decided to give it a shot for my first tattoo. I walked in to schedule the tattoo and was greeted by Max William who was able to schedule me on my preferred day (Friday). I showed him a quick drawing I had done for the design I wanted and emailed him additional information/pictures for how I wanted it to look. When I went in for my appointment, he showed me his drawing and changed my minor critiques to make an amazing design. I fell in love with the stencil alone, so it's no surprise I also fell in love with the finished product. He did an amazing job and had a good balance between quiet/focused and conversational. He also told me it was smaller than he pictured when he first quoted me the price, so he offered to knock off $40. Oh and did I mention I absolutely love my tattoo? Well, I do!
