I don’t know where to start but here it goes I have gone to rival tattoos for all my ink I love there work and even when I bring in something that I want done Colin takes the time to draw what I want out he will also go over and beyond and come up with some sick ideas and tweak what a bought in and make it even more unique I love how he dose that you don’t find that anywhere al the other shops don’t care and just slap it on you there prices are really fair and the vibe in the shop is so down to earth his wife Sarah the shop manager makes you feel like your family and have known them for years and makes sure you are comfortable and at home there I have bought my Mum in two months ago to get her 1st tattoo and she was so nervous but when Colin and Sarah started talking to her she was so calm and befor you know it she was all done I have just booked my new ink session with them in July I’m so stoked On to see what sick ideas Colin comes up with so I’ll leave it with these few words if your looking for a good artist and good prices and a clean shop I highly recommend going to rival tattoos Thanks again guys can’t wait to see u in July ????

Colin and Sarah are fantastic and always make me feel super comfortable. Colin makes my ideas come to fruition and provides the best advice for all of my questions art and tattoo related. They take pride in the work they do and ensure the shop is an incredibly safe and clean environment. Not only is the shop impeccable, the artwork fantastic but Colin has a very soft hand for those worrying about a painful spot, he checks in regularly and he is a pleasure to sit for making hours seem like minutes. The machines he uses are top of the line as is the vegan ink used. Definitely stop by to talk about what you want and book an appointment!! I love my art and I love you guys!!

I have had Colin do all of my Tattoos, though he is about 2.5 hours away from where I live, him and Sarah make the trip worth while every time! The shop is spotless, the staff go out of there way to make you feel at ease, the designs are incredible! I go in with an idea in mind, and Colin takes that and makes it better then I every could have dreamed! Attending rival I was very impressed with the fact they are very extremely thorough on the sanitizing area, something I appreciated very much and made feel like I was in a safe place . The artist Colin was very professional and explained everything that I needed to know and answered all of my questions. He is an amazingly Talented Artist , and there is no doubt that I have found my tattoo artist. I highly recommend Rival tattoo. Also a very, Thank you very much to his assistant Sarah who put me at ease when I was nervous , Your calmness is soothing Thank you Sarah, You put me comfortable when I was nervous . P.S I have heard that some artist have a heavy hand and can hurt a bit, But Colin you Have a light hand and made the experience durable thank you so much for that. I highly recommend Rival tattoos.

I was introduced to Colin and his shop less than 2 years ago, the environment is extremely welcoming, professional and the level of creativity beyond words, as I have 3 large tattoos done by Colin and April 8 will be the beginning of large tattoo number 4, I know this shop will be around for a long time to come and is not a front for anything, just awesome people who love to share their creative talents on clients.

Sent an email inquiring about a specific/custom tattoo idea. Stated I dont live in town but looking to get in communication with an artist to start work on finishing this piece. Dude didnt even bother reading the email, just told me to swing by the parlour... UH, duh had you bothered reading my email you'd know that's not possible. Maybe they are good, but they get one star from me due to terrible customer service. You may as well have a robot respond to your email; might be more personable. Anywho go elsewhere if you are looking for something custom. This guy doesnt seem interested in that sort of thing. Unfortunate. Still looking if anyone knows of someone!! Lol

Just want to say a big thanks to Colin for finishing a one-of-a-kind masterpiece and for freshening up my bull that was done by the same artist over 11 years ago. And a big thanks to Sara for properly and professionally wrapping up my tat and showing me the proper way for the aftercare. A very nice ambiance, surprisingly not intimidating at all for how good of a reputation this place has. I stopped in on a bike ride one day and a nice young blonde lady showed me around and gave me some seriously good advice on the information I gave her. Haven’t gotten a tattoo there yet, but definitely plan on it.

I first went to Colin for a fix up job on my half sleeve done by another tattoo shop. went from hating my tattoo to loving and showing it off, Colin completely transformed it using the same vision I had but just making it better then I originally pictured it. From there I then went to my chest and back and now forearm to continue on my sleeve. Colin’s work is prime. I am never worried or nervous going into his chair he always finds a way to make the vision you have better. His prices are unbeatable for the work that he provides. Amazing people in this shop and I would recommend them to anybody. Sarah and Colin are so welcoming and down to earth people. I cannot wait to continue covering my self with Collins art. This place is top notch. Easily one of best tattoo shops in the GTA. They have a tight nit team with amazing customer service. Sarah, Collin and Hugh are pretty solid people who have excellent work ethic. Their communication is good, deposits are required to book a time(which is fair),the qaulity of the tattoos are great not to mention the detailing on the pieces(I have multiple from them, my tat guy is Hugh). They not only ensure you understand the process but also the before and after care instructions as well. Worth every dollar!
