Everyone who works here is so lovely and professional and I usually have nothing but great things to say about the people who work at Pierced... except for Courtney. Went in to ask a simple question and received some nasty attitude instead of an actual answer. I work in retail as well so I totally get having a rough day, but aside from her attitude and tone she just kept looking at me as if I was inconveniencing her. If you're working the front and can't treat people nicely - or hide that you're annoyed - don't work in customer service. ESPECIALLY if you're handling the door. I would avoid Courtney if you actually want to speak to someone helpful, though other than that everyone at Pierced is great and they have an awesome selection.

I was supposed to have a piercing today by Vee. I went to the store at about 1:30ish to inquire about an appointment. The person greeting me was initially very polite, knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions and made me feel assured that the staff were skilled and that this was a safe place to have a piercing done. At this time I answered the covid screening questions, received an appointment for 3pm and told the greeter that I would be in the mall until then. I returned to my appt at 3 and was told that I need to have food in my stomach for the appt and was told to go to Starbucks for a quick bite to eat. There was confusion about the actual time that I had eaten. I simply asked the greeter why wasn’t I informed about it when I made the appointment. The greeter politely apologized as she should at which point Vee interjects and says, “don’t apologize! It’s not your fault” to the person helping me select an earring at this point. First of all, this is not someone with any kind of customer service! And she’s actually the person that would be piercing my ear! How can I trust an angry, not to mention, rude person to come near me with a sharp object ? This was totally unacceptable behaviour and I hope that the owner/ manager deal with her appropriately. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking piercing service. She’s the most unprofessional person that I’ve come across. Hopefully the other girls working in the store that have some customer service training call her out on it and correct that behaviour.

I'm sure their studio is lovely, but wanted to caution people about making online orders for the jewelry they offer. I placed an order over 2 months ago, and was told the piece had arrived and was ready a month ago. Still going back and forward trying to figure out where I can collect the jewelry (it was originally meant to be shipped to me, now I am being told they don't do that). The girl I was talking to about the order stopped working for them after I paid my full balance and ever since its impossible to get information. To spend $300 on a piece and have to chase people to essentially beg for information towards the item I paid for is pretty unacceptable. I should have been contacted and given a straight answer, instead I am calling weekly trying to figure it out, getting different responses every time. The staff at the studio are very kind, but this is such a disorganized mess. Definitely do not recommend ordering from them online! ETA: Eventually someone did reach out to me to solve the issue, and I ended up receiving my jewelry.

I got keloids from the piercing I got here. I went to this store and showed them my ear with the keloids and they said it was nothing and to just put polysporin on it. My family doctor sent me to a plastic surgeon to have them cut off and the piercing removed. Worst experience ever!

Went in and inquire about the prices for piercing. Given that they're located inside the mall and they're under chronic ink tattoo expect the prices the will be $$$. I still went ahead and inquire because I know they're a reputable place. But no surprise the people there are rude. The prices depends in what type of peircing you're getting. For Tragus, Helix, forward helix and Daith is $40 for peircing only. Earring is not included, but if course I asked how much is the basic earring, and it start at $60. I ended up not getting a peircing here. As I can get the same peircing with a better service for a reasonable price at another reputable shop.

i suggest nobody go to this shop. they didn't clarify their policy before deposit money. adding unwanted charges with stupid reasons. no payment through card only cash accepted reason is "system down". visit 3rd time then got pierced . book online and pay before piercing think twice because that money may not come back become its non refundable????????????????

I made an appointment AT SQUARE ONE, for my baby to get her ears pierced for the first time, I arrived early to check it out and was very dissipointed in the customer service. They Didn't sound knowledgeable, did not explain the jewelry, I asked about a flat back option and she didn't know what I was talking about and made me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about. For an ear piercing place they should know what flat back means. As a result cancelled my appointment and went elsewhere.

I got my nose pierced and even though I was extremely nervous, both Gina and the lovely lady working the front desk made me feel calmer and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb. Hi there. I had a ridiculous experience with Pierced at Square One. I had no issues with the associate/s I dealt with as they were simply doing their jobs as required and were polite and professional. I booked a piercing online for my daughter who is nine years old. I booked it quickly online without realizing that the age for piercing at this time is 12+ yrs as I neglected to read the details as I booked the appointment on my cell phone. When I arrived for the appointment I was informed that she was not old enough to get the ear piercing which I completely understand. However, they have refused to refund my deposit. I realize it was my error in not completely reading the guidelines at the time of booking but the online booking should request an age if the individual is under 16 years age and then typing in 9 years old should not allow me to book! I would OBVIOUSLY not have booked had I known that. It also did not state ANYWHERE in my confirmation email about the age requirement - which of course I did read lol. So the terrible review is for the customer service policy - very amateurish.

Very friendly and welcoming place! My piercer (V) and the lovely lady working at the front were very knowledgeable and accommodating. They know what they're talking about -- welcomed any questions I had, made me feel reassured/comforted, even though I had multiple piercings before this. This will be my go-to spot for all future piercings and jewelry swaps. Prices aren't like your typical random walk-in piercing places, but that's only because they use high quality jewelry. Highly recommend. If you're going to get pierced, do it right!

I got 2 lobe piercings 3 weeks ago, done by Alex who is an absolute gem, matter of fact I will be going back to do the piercings we discussed. I've always wanted an intricate ear but I had no idea what was possible until I spoke with Alex. Very professional, warm and comforting, it was like talking to an old friend. The facility is cute and quaint, very clean, only one person in at a time due to covid but that's perfectly fine. You do have to pierce with their jewelry which has been a standard thing at all places I've gone for my other piercings as they remain liable for the foreign object that is being placed and im assuming have cleaning practices and standards for the materials used. My ear has been healing nicely, no complaints. The saline solution is my favourite, love the delivery system. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the individual at cash but they were great, just all around good vibes when I went. I wouldve gotten more piercings at once if it wasn't for the healing complications. Can't wait to get my next piercings.

I have never expeirenced anything like this in any other piercing store. First off, I paid $45 and ended up getting no piercing, no refund and no reschedule. I was 7 minutes late to my appointment because I took public transit, and was not told beforehand that I would have to pay the full $45 deposit for being 7 minutes late. I also was not told that I had to call in if I was going to be a few minutes late. Aryana (a manager) did not make it clear to me that the $45 deposit would not be refunded if I was a few minutes late. They didnt reschedule my appointment, or give me a refund and did not do anything in their ability to resolve my issue. Very very frustrating group of people who are impossible to work with. I said I was 7 minutes late, Why cant i get a partial refund? She kept repeating the same thing about how I wasted the piercers time. 7 minutes of her time is not worth $45. Aryana also didnt make it clear that I couldnt get piecred if I ate more than 3 hours before the piercing. There is no other piercing store that does this. I told her i ate 3 and a half hours before and she said I could not get pierced. When i asked for a manager, or a boss, I got nothing. Very unprofessional people and the other worker, Sarah just kept asking her if she should call Mall Security. Mall security didnt even show. Very very unsatisfied and dissappointed with this store!!! Theyre unorganized, dont make things clear, and I feel ripped off. I understand that they have rules and policies, but they need to make those very very clear in a loud voice (i could barely hear aryana talk) so that issues like this wouldnt happen.

They were quick to do the piercing itself. Only allowing one person inside these days. A little pricey for sure because you also have to choose the stud from their own collection. But they deliver everything nicely so it feels worth the money. My nose piercing was done by Alex. Did not swell or irritate at all. I'm super happy with it!

Courtney did an amazing job with my piercing, was extremely professional and also friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with. I interacted with a few other staff, some of whom were very nice (the othr person who helped me pick my jewelry at my appt was great too), but others were extremely rude and very difficult to work with. Namely, I stopped by one day and said I would be dropping in a few days later because I wasn't able to commit to an appointment at the time, and the person there are the time happily said "ok we take drop ins only if we aren't booked, so it's a risk, but see you then!" When I did show up at that time, and asked if they had an opening for a drop in, I was told by the same person i spoke with before "we only accept clients by appointment, no drop ins allowed. also we're closed now (it was 6pm)." When I said "I came by last week and said I would be dropping in" she replied "I don't know why you were told that was okay" and closed the door, not even offering to make me an appointment.

Hi, I ordered a nose ring off pierced website over a month ago and haven’t received any communication since. I sent an email week two asking about my order status because I thought it was weird I hadn’t received a shipping confirmation yet. Didn’t hear back. I sent an email week three saying I wasn’t pleased about being ignored and I wanted an order status.. didn’t hear anything back. I’ve been calling the store since week four trying to get through to a person who might be able to help me and I keep getting sent to a voicemail box that isn’t set up. These piercings are not cheap and I don’t appreciate spending this money and receiving literally no service. I’m not even mad about the length of time it’s been, I’m just eager for my order to arrive. I’m more mad at the fact it’s been impossible to reach anyone. I understand a Google review might not be the most appropriate method to reach out, but I’m out of options and noticed someone replying to other google reviews. I’d like to note, I chose 1 star because my online experience has been completely unprofessional, I also want to get someone’s attention. This location however does not deserve 1 star and my review has nothing to do with the shop. I got my rook and third hole pierced last year here and my piercer was great. The pricing is overly expensive, but that’s okay if you’re willing to spend. I’m asking that someone please help me understand where my order is, if it’s even arriving or direct me to someone who can help. Thanks a lot - ---------- Someone from the team reached out with an apology. They rectified the situation in a way that exceeded my expectations and a few weeks later I received my piercing. I may order from them again, but I expect perfect service since they chalked this one up to a new staffing issue.

The piercing was quick, with minimal pain. She also provided me with her business card, which she designed and pays for herself without compensation from Pierced. I suggest Pierced implement and pay for this business card for all the piercers. After your piercing, Gina gives you a personalized business card that contains all information about your piercing and jewelry that will be required when you decide to change the jewelry. This location provided exceptional service, and the jewelry options are both beautiful and quality. I will definitely be going to this location for more piercings in the future.

Every time I have dealt with this location they have been sweet and amazing. Yesterday I went in just to get my lobes re-pierced. From the start of the appointment they were attentive and professional. Once they started they wanted to check if the holes were still there, for some reason this process made me feel faint. Nothing on their part! It was painless and they did their best, but my body decided to turn against me. They noticed right away and gave me a couple minutes to collect myself with a cold compress and juice. Once collected they finished the process, not once did they make me feel uncomfortable about my reaction. Thank you to all three of you working yesterday, you were all amazing!

AVOID THIS PLACE - one star is GENEROUS. I have my earlobes pierced and went for a second earlobe piercing with a friend. This is super common and basic - you would think. For reference I am in my late 20s in a professional career, but have also worked in retail when I was younger. Firstly, the place is very small and unwelcoming; it seems like a “pop up shop” in the mall. No one welcomed us or said hello, even though we were the only two people there. The staff continued having a very personal conversation aloud about a variety of medical issues which was very awkward. Even though I had a strange vibe, I’m not experienced with piercing places, so I just went ahead. The piercer did not introduce herself and was super rushed. She quickly marked my ears and was really annoyed when I asked her to change the placement because they were uneven. After this, she pierced and they are in different locations at different angles through my ear. When I approached the sales staff about this, they said there was nothing that could be done and there was no way to reach a manager to escalate the issue - all they could do was take my info and “pass it along”. No refund at all ($250 later...). No apology. Unsurprisingly, 3 days later, I still have heard nothing from the “manager”. Other issues - they wear gloves to handle the jewelry but also touch everything else with the gloves on.... and I observed that they treated every customer with the same rude attitude. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT - it is a huge waste of money and time. I doubt they will be in business much longer!

Just wanted to know if they sold any industrial jewelry and found out they weren’t even open? The lights were off and the lock was still on the door. I called the number listed on the door in case someone was in the back and no one picked up. Just in case, i also checked the website to see If a holiday was listed: nothing. I ended up calling customer experience who called management because apparently their opening hours are 10/11am; my experience took place a few minutes before 12pm (roughly 11:55am). As for the actual business, I wouldn’t be able to give them a “fair” rating because I waited in front of their store for a solid 15/20 mins and never actually got to go inside.

Let me preface this by saying I currently have have 16 piercings from a bunch of different places (over the course of 20 years), so I know what I'm talking about. I have been getting piercings from Vee since she was an apprentice, and she is amazing at what she does! If I'm not fully sure on a placement, she gives me advice on the best spot. I've also gotten lots of advice from others in the shop when trying to choose jewellery. The shop is really easy to spot (it's bright pink!), and I love how cosy it is (for a socially anxious person like me, it's nice to not have to walk through a large studio past a bunch of people). Everyone at Pierced is very friendly and welcoming, and they don't BS you like a regular retail store might. The jewellery is high quality (which is reflected in the price - this isn't Claire's), which means it can stay in for as long as you want (one piercing I got from Vee has had the same jewellery for a couple years now). All the piercers have a LOT of training and the rules are stricter to ensure everyone's safety (because, again...not Claire's - legitimate tattoo and piercing shops care about health and safety). Pierced (and Vee!) are my number one recommendations when anyone asks me where to go for a piercing. (I'll be going back soon to get another piercing done.)

my friend and I got pierced by Fae yesterday. what an amazing and professional piercer! explained everything in detail, and made us feel so comfortable. I got my septum, and I kid you not I did not feel a thing. such a gentle hand! excellent service and also excellent quality jewelry. they are a slightly more expensive piercing place, but well worth it in my opinion. highly recommend this place for all your piercing needs :) the receptionist was also extremely welcoming, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable which my friend and I also both appreciated!

I had the absolute pleasure of having my daith pierced by Gina yesterday. This is my 8th piercing, so I've to expect a certain caliber in terms of cleanliness, professionalism, and knowledgeability. What I didn't expect was Gina to be a disarmingly funny, charming Brit whose welcoming banter put any nerves at ease. She's an absolute gem who is incredibly gifted at what she does - she was swift, deft, and has an artist's eye for ear curation. Hands down the most positive piercing experience I've had, start to finish.

She definitely knows what she’s doing & my piercing has already started healing quickly. The staff at the front is super friendly too! Will definitely look into getting a tattoo here next time

My mom, sister, and I all went in for helix piercings and we all came out with keloid scars. The piercer who pierced my sister's piercing got it stuck midway through the piercing and she was cringing and unsurprisingly in pain. Her keloid scar was bigger than me and my mom's and was told by a doctor to just close the piercing, which was upsetting since it was painful for both her ear and her wallet. Also, when I went in to get my long bar changed for a shorter one, the piercer lied and told me that my piercing had healed properly, however, when I came back home my sister told me that there was a keloid scar for a while now. I do have to make it clear that the workers are nice and that I had no infections, their prices and services are questionable though.

Went there on my lunch hour to buy a cartilage earring for my daughters BD. She already has a stud but wanted a hoop. The man wouldn’t even let me in the store without an appt to buy an earring?! Apparently you have to have an appt, which wasn’t available till August 26th to buy a piece of jewelry? No options, disgusting customer service. Won’t be getting my business anytime soon Edit- I think you need to update your website to say there is no in store shopping. I did look online and thought since I worked near square one I’d just pop over to see the pieces in person. No where on the website did I see anything that said that wouldn’t be possible. And maybe spell my name correctly when responding.

I got a belly piercing about 3 weeks ago by Maddy and I have absolutely no complaints! I wanted to get this piercing done by a professional that follows covid restrictions and uses proper precautions when piercing as I have heard a lot of other piercing places are not clean! If you have sensitive skin and are getting a piercing with a long healing process, i recommend going to pierced. Although it is expensive, It is worth the price if you want a proper experience due to the service you get from there.

The staff were okay, not as welcoming as most but one lady in particular was extremely rude and mean. She was very snobby and incredibly unprofessional. This is not the correct way to run a business and I hope this behaviour is corrected. I highly suggest another piercing studio as they made me feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable.

Absolutely AMAZING experience! Gina is the best! I got my forward helix done at extremities and Gina had to remove it for me because the piercer did not do it properly and it was rejecting. I was so sad to remove it but Gina assured me that once it healed she would re-pierce my forward helix. I went back and had it done again and I am so happy! It looks beautiful:) I will never go to another piercer again. She follows proper sanitation to ensure that it is safe for everyone. The place is very clean! Giving this place a 3 just cause the girl on the phone was great i heard horrible things about pierced but decided to give them a chance i asked if they could change my earings out and told me they do that only if its their brand of earings lol... cause other places dont use high quality jewelry sounds like a sack of dookie with that one cause they want you to buy their earings so even if you get pierced here if you bring your own jewelry from new steel thats medical grade stainless steel they would not change it id understand the rule if they were up there in business but half the time they close early or dont open due to them being slow also this is pre covid lol observations they are never busy so the whole "appointment" thing is not a thing lol they wanna sound busy girl on the phone was great delivering what the pink haird one told her that always stands by the door

Ryan is super helpful and he is great at explaining the jewelry, policies and how the piercing goes, and Alex was amazing with my friend. She was really nervous and it went so well. Don’t ever buy from the Pierced website. I bought jewellery from them. It is on 20% off bc of Black Friday; currently same discount for Cyber Monday. I emailed them many times just to reach someone, hoping to get a price adjustment. On the website, there is not even a contact number to speak to an individual. No one has responded despite my multiple attempts. Additionally, when I bought my jewellery they automatically added a $15 Pierced cloth bag to my cart that I don’t even want or need. I am so disappointed. Now, I don’t even want my purchase anymore. I have had such a bad experience. I am thinking of contacting the Better Business Bureau.

I would recommend that anyone getting their first lobe/nose piercing get it done here! I chose Pierced Square One to get my lobes done for the first time and was so happy with my experience that I came back to get my nose pierced also! Both visits were great and my piercer, Vee, was so friendly, down to earth, and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. She was very helpful with explaining everything I needed to know about taking care of my fresh piercings. Ariana was patient and knowledgeable while helping me choose my piercing and jewelry, even giving me a quick and detailed rundown on all of them. I agree that most of the pieces here are on the expensive side but its worth it for the high quality and professionalism!

I have never been so insulted as I was today in pierced. I walked in the store with my daughter for cartilage piercing inquiry and were thrown out of store due to Covid -19. I can completely understand the nature of the business, BUT there is a way of talking to customer, we were shocked the way we were spoken to. If the business is so sensitive why have you not closed? Also if no one from outside is allowed then what was the rep doing outside the store once we left is she not taking any germs when she goes back to the store? it just did not make any sense. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED.

Avoid if possible. Was told to get a piercing I had to " get through" her assistant before I could see " the piercer" (no name mentioned) . The language and manners of the assistant while disagreeing with me on jewellery size was enough to put me off and was clear this is not a place I want anyone sticking needles in my body. Bad bad energy here. The piercer did not come to talk, greet me or anything even though she was not busy until I was already putting my bag on to leave and declared she was kicking me out. Honey, I was already leaving.. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. This would have been my 8th piercing and never have I had such a weird experience. I guess the system at pierced is to follow her orders, shut up and pay the money... I just a walk in and was possible to get 3 genital piercing on the spot. Her schedule for the day was wide open. What a surprise..

I had a completely pleasant experience from beginning to end. Everyone that works there is very knowledgable and helpful. Vee (my piercer) was very friendly and extraordinarily professional. She answered all of my questions and provided excellent service!
