When I was there for my nostril piercing, I told the piercer that I had a very bad reaction to surgical steel so I needed to be pierced with something else. She said that there was some other material I could be pierced with and I kid you not, it was some sort of plastic. I ended up breaking the stud backing from blowing my nose and had to put a new one in. I didn't go to eye I Kandy because I knew they probably wouldn't sell me on good jewelry so I went to another shop with APP associations who sell gold and titanium, the only metals I've been ok with so far. I asked one of the piercers to check my piercing out and she told me that it was done wrong and explained why it wouldn't heal properly. I left it in for some extra time and sure enough, after 10 months it didn't heal at all. The stud that she used was also super damaging to the piercing, not one that should be used at all and especially not on a fresh piercing. Super poor quality, highly recommend against it.

I got my cartilage pierced here 2 years ago but am now writing a review. I got two done at the same time, same here so one above the other. The top one was pierced so crooked! I’ve had to take it out as I couldn’t put other jewelry in it was slanted so much. Now i have a bump on my ear from where it use to be.

Very professional staff. I got my belly button pierced and it took no time at all. I was in and out within 30 minutes (this included time to pay as well). It was very clean and I didn't see any red flags. They also have a great selection of jewelry. The only thing I will say, is I wish they had a debit/credit machine. They only accept cash or e-transfer. Other than that, I definitely recommend going.

I will NEVER get pierced by anyone else!! Mihela was absolutely amazing. I was so nervous to get my conch pierced, but she talked to me the whole time and calmed me down - super easy to talk to! I told her how I want other piercings (like two high lobes) and she listened and mapped out my future piercings better than I could have imagined. She did the piercing so quickly and gently - barely any pain, and it turned out perfectly. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will definitely be back.

I went in yesterday with an infected Monroe peircing; the lady who was super nice and knowledgable! She was able to put in a longer bar so it can take pressure off from the swelling! When I was younger and inexperienced I got my nose pierced here. I have a nickel allergy and was told the steel had 0 nickel in it, but alas that was not true as I had a very bad allergic reaction and had to get a ring put in. It took a year to heal, and as it was at a bad angle caused me two years of struggle. I wouldn't recommend. Go somewhere that is clearly stated to be accredited by Association of Professional Piercers.

I accidentally yanked my nose ring or and couldn't get it back in, in a panic I just went as a walk in and the girl at the front desk was great, confirmed I want the only one and was really helpful with showing me new jewellery. The piercings girl was quick and to the point, in and out in under ten. Only thing is they don't accept debit but they have an ATM in the lobby.

Mihela, the senior piercer, is AMAZING. I have gone into I-Kandy with problems with a piercing done by someone else or a piercing issue that was my own fault, and she is there-calm, collected, and ready to help. And her methods work. I've never had to take out a piercing Mihela has done/helped me with, which is not something I can say for other piercers. She just makes you feel so comfortable and welcome and calm. You walk in and you know she has her full attention on you. Plus I swear that when she pierces you, you hardly feel it. I don't know how she does it. The front staff are also very friendly and competent! Overall very pleased with I-Kandy's piercing department, and will have to check out what the tattoo department is like one of these days!

I had jewelry stuck in my rook that I couldn’t get out on my own. The front staff worked with Mihela to squeeze me in on the same day, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the shop was. Mihela was a pro with a light touch, quickly taking out my jewelry and putting in a new hoop with minimal pain. Overall, this was a great experience and I’d definitely return for a new piercing.

1st the artist lost all the reference pics and description of the tattoo I wanted and drew up something way off base then I gave up on them after calling every week to see if my piece was drawn up to what I actually wanted. Can't trust somone with ur skin if they can't even do the little things. They were nice and the place was clean so take your chances.

The piercer was super calm and made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the entire process. I definitely plan on getting more piercings and tattoos done from there.

Mihela is so gentle when inserting jewellery. She has pierced my daith and tragus and makes the process nearly painless. I have been to other piercers who are much more cumbersome and awkward, which has caused pain and discomfort. I will only go to I-kandy for piercings and inserts now because my experiences with Mihela have always been positive.

Really clean facility. Tim does incredible nature themed art work. He has given me a beautiful fern tattoo on my forearm and a collection of large peony flowers on my shoulder/upper back/upper arm. While he does beautiful work with colors I chose black ink for my tattoos due to personal preference (I love black) and they look incredible and surpassed all expectations. I get tons of compliments on my tattoos now thanks to him. Tim does very detailed work that looks timeless and he is very friendly and fun to collaborate with. Benny did a really sleek black tribal half-sleeve piece on my husband's arm which he has been very happy with and still looks great after many years. Also, Mihaela has done several piercings for me over the years that have all healed beautifully. I highly recommend I-Kandy.

I came here to get the jewelry changed for my tragus/conch piercing. When I walked in, I was greeted by very friendly staff who helped me find the write gauge sizes. I was in an out within 10 minutes or so. Highly recommend this place. Very clean, and helpful staff!

My first tattoo, did not have a good experience. She kept trying to talk me out of a simple tattoo I wanted to do, when she did it I knew something didn’t feel right. My tattoo didn’t look right, and right after the tattoo she kept trying to make excuses about my skin. Tattoo was not straight and wasn’t healing right. After 6 weeks I didn’t want to get a touch up from her again, so went to another tattoo place and she said the tattoo artist went too deep, tattoo blew out and she scarred me. My new tattoo artist fixed it now it looks 100% better!! I don’t recommend this place at all!!! Worst experience! Just cause it’s affordable doesn’t mean it’s worth it! I hear mix reviews for Ikandi so it might just be this tattoo artist. I had Tamara.

Had both my ears pierced by Mihela. She informed me with anything that might have been on my mind and then asked if I had any questions. Pierced both my ears lobes with a 10g needle as I plan on stretching. She was very patient and asked if I needed any time which I did not. The piercing itself stung a little but was extremely quick. Gave me aftercare information sheet and had me wait a few minutes before leaving in case I had any problems. Everything went very well and had no problems. Very satisfied with the service and value.

Today, My friend and I went into book a tattoo appointment and the receptionist lady was explaining to my friend about why they take two deposit and not one like most tattoo places. The lady did a poor job in explaining it to my friend, who has challenges in understanding a complex explanation. My friend who asked afew more questions trying to understand her reasoning; then the lady become very rude and turned her away!! We went outside and I explained it better to my friend and went back into apologize and we wanted to put a deposit down and still turned away our business. I even explained to the lady my friend's challenges and still NO! I CALL DISCRIMINATION ON THAT DUE TO SOMEONE CHALLENGES IN LIFE!! Very disappointed and will not be recommending this tattoo place to anyone! This is a very upsetting situation. Rude and really bad customer service!! Good new!! Found another tattoo place in ladner who had very awesume service!! High recommend it!!

I have gotten most of my piercings done here and absolutely love Mihela's work! She is so calming during the piercing and does a fantastic job of placing them. However, I have had a lot of difficulty trying to reach them to schedule an appointment since they re-opened from their COVID closing. I have called 6 times over 3 days and no one picked up. I have even left a voicemail as well as emailed them and still have not heard anything and it has almost been a week since I initially tried to book. Looks like I'll have to take my business elsewhere.
