I went in to get a industrial which is 50/50 chance. The receptionist let me know and offered for me to pick a back up incase. The piercer was super nice and sized it up and unfortunately I didn’t get the industrial but I got a tragus instead which I love just as much. He showed me afterwards that they use each needle once. It’s very clean, professional and friendly in there.

He went through the whole process and the procedure itself didn’t take that long, I was there for only 15 minutes but everything went smoothly. After I got home I wanted to book for my 3rd piercing already, that’s when you know everything went really well. Just a side note, he’s pretty booked up so make sure to book in advance!

Amazing artists, top of the line shop. No better place in Winnipeg for tattoos. I've gotten all 8 of my tattoos at Soul Survivors over the last 9 years and would never go to anyone else. They work with top-of-the-line artists, the environment is casual and friendly, but most importantly these guys are the best. My most recent works were done by Carly and Marc. Carly is the only artist I would ever trust to do nature themed work or fine, elegant detailing. She did an Alphonse Mucha half-sleeve for me that was identical to the original work. She's genuinely excited to do projects and it's a pleasure to sit in her room for hours getting it done. Marc has an incredible eye for colour and detail and definitely knows his stuff. These guys are amazing. If you plan to get a tattoo in Winnipeg this is the ONLY place to go.

I’ve had my nose pierced and had a tattoo done here and both times my visit was excellent! The staff really make the environment very friendly and welcoming, they’re also all incredibly talented, of course. My nose piercing had a bad reaction to the jewelry, they were super helpful with advice and they were able to fix the jewelry used for free. Definitely would come back again!

I had a good experience getting a simple tattoo here, but I've liked going to another place better. The prices here seem a bit inflated, but I guess they have more overhead at this location (it is a nice and large establishment). It does feel a bit snobby, they don't seem to take you seriously unless you have lots of visible tattoos.

It was posted on Instagram that there were open walk-in appointments starting at 11 the following day. I was so excited to get these ‘tiny tats’ done!! The person that checked me in and Victor were WONDERFUL! The only thing that could’ve been better was that Victor was late due to an unforeseen furnace issue at home which I totally understand! I just ended up waiting an extra hour before even getting into the room. The tattoos were done in about 30 minutes though which was AMAZING! And his detail is on point! I’d come back FOR SURE for my next one!

I’ve never been pierced here but I’ve gone several times for jewelry changes. Last time I went I saw Kaleb and he was great. Very patient, including when I didn’t like how my planned jewelry arrangement looked so he suggested switching them around, which is what I ended up going with. We went as a group to get piercings. When we made the appointment we let them know what we wanted pierced . They did not mention anything about not allowing anyone under the age of 12 into the shop. There was nothing on their website about no one under 12 being allowed in the shop. When we arrived there was no sign that mentioned not allowing anyone under 12 into the shop. We arrived ten minutes late. When we got there we were greated by the women at the front desk who let us know that our friends 6 year old daughter could not be in the shop at all. Not even in the waiting room while others were getting their piercings. We comfirmed our peircings and were rudely told that they would "see what they could do" since we were apperently half way through the appointment. After waiting more than 15 mintues because even though we were late they were not ready for us. We went in one by one to get our peircings while one of us had to wait outside, in the rain, with the 6 year old. Two of us were getting the same peircing (2 piercings) and the artist let us know, while we were in the chair, that he was not confident with doing the two in the spot we asked for so he only did the one. Why were we not told about the age policy and why were we booked with an artist who wasn't confident enough to do the piercing. If we were told about the age policy we would not have gone to this shop and if the artist wasn't experienced enough to complete the task we never should have been booked with him. The guy who did the peiercings was fine, but the service before during and after will prevent us from returning. Update: The guy do did the piercings didnt tighten the piercing and the screw top had fallen off. I had to fight for half an hour to get it back on and its not tight bc my ear is so swollen that I cant reach behind and hold the back to keep it from twisting while I try to tighten the piercing. Avoid this place.

I was passing through Winnipeg a couple weekends ago. I had called a few places to see about getting my cartilage pierced. I decided to just walk in to Soul Survivors- did not disappoint! They (obviously) accepted walkins, and the front staff were very helpful. Cass performed my piercing and I absolutely love it!!! He bandaged my tattoo quick, because it was close to closing... and when I took the bandage off upon closer inspection, it was f**king crooked!!!! I got a dagger done on my bicep and the hilt was Completely and noticeably crooked upon looking first glance! I was so displeased!!! I have to live with this crooked tattoo on my arm for the rest of my life... never go here.. EVER.

Wonderful - I have had an eyebrow piercing and a tragus piercing. I did not experience any swelling at all with the eyebrow piercing. The tragus does take more time to heal but is so worth it.

I got my septum pierced by Kaleb. The receptionist & Kaleb were super friendly and I felt comfortable albeit a little shy. Kaleb walked me through the piercing process before starting the piercing and walked me through the aftercare before leaving. I was also sent off with sea salt &aftercare instructions on paper which is nice because I'm forgetful. I almost walked off without paying (accidentally) and the receptionist was totally nice about it, which is great cause I was embarrassed haha. I'm super psyched about my piercing. Everytime I’ve went in they have been so friendly and welcoming. As a new customer they made me feel safe and in good hands. During Covid they also have been really good with keeping everyone safe. They made sure we sanitize and social distance. While getting piercings they made sure I knew what the process was going to be like so there were no surprises and I really liked that. Terrible for peircings. I did not get proper care instructions for my peircing and it did not ever heal. It constantly hurt, so I went back to peirce and they basically BLAMED me for not knowing why it was hurting.Ended up having to need it taken out. Left a big scar on my ear that took 6 months of massaging with tea tree oil twice a day to get presentable looking. Stay away from this place.

Went in for a consultation to make sure I knew what I was getting and so my artist (Sheldon) understand what he was doing. The appointment felt rushed and I left not even know what I was going to get. I was told that I will see it the day of and that no one doesn’t like what he comes up with. Fast forward a couple months to the night before the tattoo where I’m getting text messages asking me questions about things that we went over in the consultation. Feeling frustrated that I wasted my time on a consultation that wasn’t even useful for either of us. Next day went in for the tattoo and all was well. I didn’t feel as belittled as I did during the consultation. Tattoo turned out nicely, cannot complain about that, however when it was time to pay I was caught off guard of the increase of price. I was told during the consultation that it would be 160 and to pay half as a deposit which was fine. So tell me why I was asked to pay 200 minus the 80 deposit. If the rule of thumb is to pay half for the deposit then tell me why I paid an extra 40? I did not go over the hour session so there is no reason it should’ve been more. Since I was caught of guard I didn’t end up mentioning anything and I also do not like confrontation. I was taken advantage of, being a young innocent naive girl. Do better, be better. Will not come back again, will go somewhere where I am valued.

While I've had good experiences here and gotten some of my best ink done by their artists my last piece was somewhat soured for me when 4 years later I came across an old piece of art on deviantart which the base image for my sleeve had clearly been traced from. I trusted the artist with my skin to give me an original piece as I was a fan of their work. Now, unfortunately, every time I look down at my arm I am reminded that it's traced artwork... It's entirely unpleasant. I wish the artist had been honest with their work. They took a shortcut and I get to live with that on me.

I went today to talk to a tattoo artist about a tattoo I wanted to get and I've never been disrespected like I was today. I am black and I wanted to get a coloured tattoo. without even seeing the design of what I wanted to do, this artist told me that colour tattoos do not look good on my type of skin. furthermore, they stated how colours were a pigment that goes in your skin bla bla bla and that with my skin colour it will not come out good like wha I had expected. but how could he know? I've seen coloured tattoos on black people, some even darker than myself and it still looks good. we are all entitled to our opinions but yours sir, was very much not needed and just plain ignorant. Rachel was on reception and super friendly/helpful and unlike most shops I've been to pricing was available to me in seconds and was super organized on their iPad. Prices were reasonable so I went ahead and changed my septum and helix to new jewellery and got a new helix piercing as well. For walk ins on a Saturday I was in quickly and Cass had everything done in 15 minutes. She was also super friendly and helpful and did a great job explaining aftercare to me (salt was provided as well which was super helpful). My girlfriend got a piercing here and has had nothing but problems. Between the attitude of all the staff (even senior employees), the jewelery being faulty, being told conflicting information, and general lack of professionalism I can guarantee we will never be returning Response: We were never told about walk in Saturday and appointment every other day and were told there would be a 2 hour wait for a simple downsize. As for the replacement jewelery, she was told at the time of the piercing that the downsized post was included in the initial price of the piercing. So there was no replacement there was a finishing of a transaction. We went to another place who was able to do the swap right away and we didn't mind paying extra in order to avoid this place.

I was with kaleb, signed up for a septum piercing. When I arrived I said I’d like to make an appointment for a lip piercing as well but kaleb took the time to do my lip and septum in one appointment. He was really sweet and talked me through the whole thing! Would highly recommend; THANK YOU KALEB:) it’s also healing well (I’m following his instructions for cleaning)

She was so patient while going over all the different jewelry options for my piercings, answering my questions and informing me on the process. My piercer who was Patricia, is honestly one of the most kind, patient and understanding people that I’ve ever met. She made me feel super safe and comfortable for my piercing. I went to soul survivors yesterday for a nostril piercing. I originally went in wanting a ring but after speaking to Eric, he explained to me that a stud piercing would be better for healing and just make my life easier during the healing process. I’m very glad he went to the trouble of explaining this to me - otherwise I would have had no idea! He was very thorough in explaining everything and I really appreciated! He made me feel comfortable with every step. Was a great experience! I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing experience from the moment I called to make and appointment to the end of my tattoo session. During the consult, Victor was enthusiastic about my tattoo ideas and his creativity and skill made my idea come alive with a unique, cool, and gorgeous touch. Shawn was really helpful with figuring out how to place my tattoo since its my first one, as well as how big to make it for where i wanted it. Horrible shop, owners cried out during covid that they needed the help of the community, so I gave over a deposit and made an appointment. My work schedule was also affected by covid and I had to reschedule twice,,both times I gave over 48 hours notice. They stole my deposit and gave me grief..horrible place owned by petty thieves
