My niece got her ears pierced here. The two ladies that did the piercing were fantastic, very patient and personable. My sister and nephew came along as well, and my nephew being a toddler was a little grumpy with waiting, as toddlers can be. The man at the front counter seemed to grow very impatient and asked us to keep him quiet, and then later, asked if we could take him out to the car, which was unexpected and very rude.

Had a great experince getting my belly button pierced but when I changed my piercing I changed the bar because it was too small for my belly button and now I have a big scab where the hole is and my piercing has completely shifted to the side and it's not straight anymore I'm super upset about it. Morgan did an amazing job piercing it I'm just really unhappy with what it looks like now and dont know what to do. Someone please help I have no idea if I should just take it out and wait for the hole to close up and get it re pierced or just leave the jewelry in.

My son and I both just recently had piercings done with Morgan. She is extremely professional and friendly. This being my son's first piercing, he was quite nervous. After his piercing he experienced some light headedness and was feeling a little nauseous. Morgan was so attentive and patient with him. She got him apple juice and water and made sure he was back to 100 percent before we walked out the door. I highly recommend having your piercings done at Gypsy Cat with Morgan. Her and this business are absolutely wonderful!

Would recommend 10/10 ⭐️ Morgan was actually the best. shes been doing piercings over 12 years I think she said, VERY knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable getting my nipples pierced with Morgan. The piercer Morgan made you feel calm and they were very knowledgeable so you felt like you were in good hands and nothing was going to go wrong with the whole process even healing. To this day my piercings are healing extremely well, better than what I see online and they look AMAZING!!!! I am so happy!!! Morgan lined my piercing up perfectly I did not expect them to turn out so straight and beautiful. She really answered all my questions and told me facts about my piercing and what you should not do and what you should do and we had a great conversation, shes a great person fun to be around. Followed all safety procedurals very sanitary and even made sure to check the thread on the jewlery to make sure for a smooth piercing process. I really could not change 1 thing about my expierence since they were very knowledgeable, the pain even was less (barely hurt at all) since I was calm, did not bleed, and was happy!!! (this is from the perspective of someone who hadn't previously had any body modification) Proud to have gotten my first tattoo here (hopefully more to follow). I was a bit hesitant at first, and even moreso given that my artist (Allison) and I decided to make it a full sleeve. The atmosphere is super welcoming and the staff are very kind and knowledgable, and they definitely know their craft. I knew roughly what I wanted to get done, but wasn't sure on what the final product would look like. Allison was able to take my ideas and bring them to life - she actually did the artwork from scratch and the final result was far better than anything I could have possibly come up with! She was also incredibly thoughtful and cognizant of the fact that I wasn't really sure what to expect for my first or even second sitting - making sure to take breaks as needed and making sure I was as comfortable as I could be throughout the process. Cannot recommend this place enough for folks who are looking to get their first bit of work done, and the same to be said for anyone else looking for a rad place to check out! I was fortunate enough to be one of the last folks to get in prior to the temporary closure due to the covid pandemic, but I'm excited for things to be back up and running when the world gets back to normal!

Had my nipples pierced for my birthday and the I got to the tattoo parlor, I was slightly anxious. Morgan had the best 90s alternative playlist and she talked me through my anxiety. She is very professional and before I knew it, the worst was over. I love how real and straight she is but is able to maintain professionalism at the same time! I was really impressed not only with their skill, experience and portfolio, but also at their professionalism and how clean the tattoo studio was. I got my first ever tattoo from Charlie! I was very nervous about the experience as it was a rib tattoo but she made me feel at ease instantaneously. Her presence was so comforting during the entire process and I didn't have a single thing to complain about. She answered all my questions and gave me clear instructions on caring for my tattoo. Gentleman who spoke with us seemed annoyed or bothered by our presence, questions and concerns. Didn't seem eager to help us at all. Went in with my mother to help her book an appointment to cover up a small tattoo (1.5"x1.5") with a new bigger concept. Told us what she wanted "wasn't worth his time". Not often I see such lack of customer service. No effort to help us out or compromise was made. My mother left disappointed and wondered if she misspoke or did something wrong. We went to a different shop and had a night/day experience. They were eager and excited to come up with a design for her and encouraged her to email if she had any concerns or wanted any changes to the design. I've spent 5k on tattoos at various shops in BC and Nova Scotia and never had such a poor experience. Not sure if he was busy or just having a bad day but for such a personal experience you'd hope for a nice, comfortable experience.

I had my septum done a few years ago, but had to take it out as there was a combination of lost jewelry & working without facial piercings. I went to Gypsy Cat fully expecting to have to get it redone, but Morgan was able to open up the old piercing and get new jewelry in there! Gypsy cat is in my opinion the best shop in town.

Overall great shop to go to. If they dye earrings for you, make sure you ask to see the finished product outside and not just under the fluorescent lights. I liked the earrings under the store lights but after I had paid and left, looking at them under natural daylight they looked completely different.

Prejudice against fathers. Wouldn’t let me come in with my daughter on her birthday to Pierce her ear and don’t seem to understand how custody arrangements work. Wouldn’t accept my signed custody order from judge proving I’m her legal guardian along with her mother. Health cards are not proof of anything. I have an old health card with them on it even though their mom is listed as primary. Health cards are not legal documents showing custody.

It looks great, the aftercare process was well explained, and she was super accommodating in moving and re-placing the stencil, making slight changes to the tattoo, and working with my colour scheme (my colour choice was "all of them"). Be aware you may pay your deposit and not get what you paid for. I had a consult with Jessica and put a deposit down to get a sketch of my idea for a tattoo. Not only was she late to my second appointment to show me a sketch she had a computer print of a few cut and paste images and no sketch. And said she didn't feel my idea would work and suggested a tattoo that a friend was coincidentally getting from her in a few days (sorry but I don't want the same tattoo as my friend). We agreed that if she didn't feel it I could come back with another idea... I did a few days later and then her books were closed! Not only did I not get my deposit back but promises of calls when her books became open again have yet to come!!! This has been since her shop opened. Super bummed because she is an AMAZING artist but feeling a little bitter about the treatment.

When I walked in the staff were very chill and greeted me nicely. They have coffee, water and ice tea mix ( not offered at other places I’ve got work at). I couldn’t remember the artists name but they found it quickly. I like the set up and it was very clean (even the washroom). Has a homely feel too it. ***Note - Bring cash with you if you are paying cash do not try pulling out cash from the store attached to the strip mall. The owner said their machine is always out of money. I am guessing everyone getting tattoos drains the ATM.*** The new guy on the block around there Shawn (hope i spelled it right) did a script piece on my calf. He did a awesome ???? job on it. The colouring is great, placement and the lines are straight. The shading turned out really well. He was a very personable and outgoing guy. He has some fun religious views!;) all in all he was a chill guy and he worked hard on it after a slowish set up (in the end didn’t charge me extra for set up which I thought that was totally solid). During the tattoo a couple of artist I already booked my next appointment with him. I think I may become a main stay with Gypsy tattoo and Shawn as the artist! Thanks for the great work man. Three tattoos deep. Shawn is great and all the staff are awesome. It’s a safe and calm environment. Note the chest pictures are not completed. One more session. It’ll look sick. The bicep I was only charged an hour for and it looks great! My new favourite tattoo! Eric

I got my septum pierced somewhere else and I was very happy with it except the location was not close for me and they had a no kid policy for me to return to change it (I didn't like my jewelry choice for my initial piercing). I came to Gypsy Cat today and was able to bring my daughter in her stroller (luckily she was asleep) Morgan changed my jewelry, she was quick, very professional, very clean and super friendly. I have about 7 tattoos from Jessica and I'm just going to keep seeing her because she is amazing. It's rare to find a tattoo artist without an ego but she is one - she is so professional and she will give her advice but not pressure you into anything. She makes you feel comfortable, does beautiful flawless work and is willing to work in your budget being very upfront about the realities of it. Every time I see her it's a great experience!! Also Morgan was helpful with my piercings and they always answer all my questions over the phone!
