Very unprofessional - I inquired about a tattoo, she said she’d be able to do it, then totally ignored me and never replied to A SINGLE text. Extremely horrible customer service. Would not recommend. Upon reading this review, Heather messaged me asking me to take this down or she will charge me with slander. She will not leave me alone. Extremely unprofessional. Don’t waste time. *** kirsty. I called to book a tattoo and Bella got me in on the same day. I told her on text message what I wanted to get tattooed. It was a simple design, inspired by a favourite image on Pinterest! She booked me in for later in the evening, same day. She was professional and on time . She had a rough sketch that looked great! She stenciled the design on me . And wow, the tattoo turned out unreal! It is so beautiful that I actually had tears in my eyes! My best friend was with me and she kept saying over and over how perfect the lines are and how beautiful my script is. I am blown away. I thought I was going to get a nice tattoo , but my tattoo is unbelievably perfect and crisp , custom and special. You can totally see she has insane skills and that she has been tattooing for a really long time. Bella said that she is usually booking 2 years in advance but her mom died this year. She said she took some time off and is now getting back to work. I’m totally booking my sleeve with her ! And I don’t even have to wait long to start it! If you want an amazing tattoo you should get in with her now while you can before she’s a big wait again. I have 5 tattoos from other Kelowna tattoo artists and its the best tattoo I’ve ever had.

This place is a joke. My son and I had a tattoo booked for a few months for july 24 2021. I called bella from platinum tattoo the day before to confirm our appointment, no answer. So we went on our day july 24 and went to the location and it was locked up no one there as if the place didn't even exist. We called her numourous times, texted her, no answer and she still didnt call me back. We paid a deposit as well, in which I have demanded back, still no reply. After 2hrs of waiting I finally called a different tattoo parlor to see if they could get us in unfortunately we were unable to get in that day but we are booked for the following week. As of july 25 she still has not returned my son and I call. My son was devastated as he was looking forward in getting a matching tattoo with me. So I recommend not going to this place or even booking with her. SHE IS A SCAM.

Everyone's tattoos which I really liked, I had to know who did them and each time it was Bella's at Platinum Tattoo in Kelowna Bc. The advantage is none of my tattoos have never needed retouching up and all have healed perfect just like I was told when I followed her instructions. Bella always listened to my ideas and made the tattoos better than I could have expeted. Shes a True professional. For large and detailed sleeve tattoos Bella is the best in Kelowna. I see her every other week to finish up my second sleeve. Im going to look amazing for summer. Thank you doll.

I went to a tattoo shop in Vernon and got a terrible tattoo. I wanted a realistic tattoo and it was nothing like I wanted. I asked several sources and every knowledgeable tattooed person recommended Heather as the best artist in the Okanagan area for realistic animal portraits. Even my girlfriend in Vancouver recommended her. Her shop Platinum Tattoo is very clean and covered in paintings that she has made that are absolutely beautiful! When I asked Heather what to do, she suggested that we do an entirely new tattoo so I can get the exact owl image that I wanted. We will figure out later what to do with the other one. My new owl tattoo that Heather tattooed looks absolutely incredible! My brother mentioned that my tattoo actually looks even better than the photo that I brought in to her! Heather spent extra time making sure that everything was perfect for me. She tattooed fast , faster than my other tattoos that I've had done and the price was fair . My tattoo is so much more detailed and more amazing than I ever thought it could be. Heather Is exactly what I heard, she was the best artist for the realistic tattoo I wanted and truly an amazing artist and tattoo professional. I already have another tattoo planned for my leg. Thank you Heather for giving me such an amazing piece of art! It's better than I ever could of thought it would be! I can't wait for the next one!

I am very disappointed with how unprofessional Heather is. My first appointment with her, I showed up and she failed to let me know that she couldn't make it that day, then after rescheduling, she pushed my 2pm appointment back till 6pm because she was "busy". After getting the tattoo, it did not heal properly, and she blamed it on my after care even after having previous tattoos and following the sheet she gave me, using the exact products listed on that sheet. I talked to other artists and they then let me know that she "over worked" my skin which means that the skin scars and the ink basically falls out and fades very easily. When I told Heather this she ignored me and refused to do any touch Ups as apparently "she doesn't do touch ups" even tho they are very common for lots of tattoos. She also blamed it on me saying "I was rushing her" even tho I told her I would stay till very late and was open to scheduling another day to finish it. I am the client and she is the artist, she should of known when to stop tattooing my skin if it was too swollen and inflamed. The way she handled the situation was very unprofessional and I will never reccomend her to anyone. Do yourself a favour, if your reading this, and go to someone else. I am not saying her art is bad, but she was the most unprofessional tattoo artist I have ever met.

Heather is amazing, she got me in on short notice. She made sure I was completely satisfied with the work I wanted done before going ahead. She was very easy on the gun, always made sure I was comfortable and was ok. The tattoo turned out better than my expectation, she even has a few ideas that went perfect with the design. I am looking to get a few more and Heather is exactly who I am going to for them. I highly recommend her. Her work space and tools are clean and sterile. She is a one woman show right now and is doing an amazing job. ????????

My sister and I booked online for our tattoos this weekend. The form was surprisingly easy and simple, was like booking a haircut! And it got us in for our tattoos right away! Heathers shop Is clean and professional. She had our drawings ready for us before our appointment and we worked out the minor details together with her. It was great she had us put a lot of our input into them , so the tattoo designs really are customized just for us ! She made sure we were both happy with our drawings because we both wanted different things incorporated. The tattoos both turned out better than we ever thought! Her art is amazing! The tattoo experience was the best in Kelowna by far! We have already gotten tons of compliments on our tattoos! She is super friendly and professional. We have both been to lots of artists in Kelowna and Heather is definitely the best at creating your perfect tattoo and the best at tattooing it! Use the online booking she has! I booked an appointment for November 3rd online which at first I thought was sketchy so that's on my part, the day came up and my boyfriend took me to this so called studio posted on her website the doors where closed and no sign of Heather. We went a block down to this building which I thought was hers and the opposite doors which was another tattoo artist said she wasn't in town and closed down her shop... so yay. We called and called her and I said let's go clearly she's not coming . Then about 10 minutes later she called my phone and I missed it by seconds, I read her voicemail and her excuse was she's stuck in Vancouver due to weather which yeah I understand she was in Vancouver 2 days before hand, but in all professionalism she could have told me and rebooked but made me drive out of town to see her. I said I would like my deposit back since I showed up and you didn't and she never responded. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend her to anyone. And beware booking online clearly it's a scam since the other recent review also says she's not giving the deposit back.

I got my first two tattoo's from Heather in September. I came to Heather with my ideas and she created the perfect image, better than I had hoped for. Originally I was going to get the 'Heart & XO' in black but then she pulled out some colors as we were going through them to find a red I was happy with for the 'L', and I fell in love with a blue and green. She then blended and shaded both tattoos, already exceeding my expectations. As it was my first time, Heather was very professional and patient when I had a ton of questions. She also showed me all of her tools that she would be using and opened all of them in front of me so that I could see she only used sterile tools and proceeded to discard the tools once she was finished. She made this a very comforting and fun experience. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. Can't wait to get more tattoos Heather! Thank you again! G

I’ve got a number different tattoos from a variety of artists in different cities Heather at platinum tattoo is heads and tails above the rest she’s very pleasant to deal with The intricate work, layering, colour and now it all blended in together from multiple images is Second to none. Beautiful, detailed artwork takes time. Heather finished the work much quicker than I had ever could have expected. All my other tattoos they don’t even compare to the one she created for me I was so pumped and excited Im getting her to improve my other tattoo so they look just as good.

I saw Heather for custom dragon tattoo that had sentimental value to me . I was able to book online with ease very user-friendly Heather was on time had my design drawn out My dragon tattoo covers my arm, shoulder and part of my back . It makes my muscles pop even more now that it’s tattooed. her creativity is amazing and her details and shading. She’s very professional. I got tons of compliments on it even when it was only halfway finished . When I went to pay her I was happy with the amount . As far as I have looked around Heather has the best rate in the OKanagan. You can tell that Heather really cares about her clients and about my design . She put a lot of extra work in an hours in on my tattoo design before I came for the tattoo and also when she was drawing it on me . This lady know what she’s doing hands down best work I’ve ever got out of 7 artists. Her shop got black mould last minute but she was still able to do it in a clean hygienic spot so I was much appreciative of that because I needed it done for a special occasion. I would highly recommend her as the best artist in Kelowna possibly in Canada as she has awards to back that. Edit: the owner/only tattoo artist keeps changing her name (Heather, lulu, Bella). Don't be fooled, it's still the same person. I've waited until my tattoos fully healed before deciding if I would post anything. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Whether it be the Mexican flags emblem that's not centered or Costa Ricas flags line work being crooked or the grey smudges in Canada's and United States, there are a lot of negatives to pull from the tattoo itself. But my main quarrel is that I was in town for this tattoo for 11 hours, when I live an hour away. I didn't leave the building til midnight. Instead of driving home to feed my dog, I stayed at a friend's house because I was so distraught. I don't have a kind word in my vocabulary to describe the horror that are these two tattoos. When communicating with the artist, she described her studio as being under construction. From the majority of the legit reviews I've read I'm not convinced this studio exists, as this seems to be a repeated story with other clients. The artist sent copy and pasted emails about trusting the tattoo artist to know what they're doing and size restrictions, which I respect as this was not my first tattoo. In my hesitation at the huge design change to my idea, Heather used every excuse in the book to get me to reconsider. She changed her tattoo plans to fit my original size idea after saying anything of this size was impossible. She woke up late on the day of the appointment and left me to do important errands hours longer than she intended. She texted me saying how she's the best artist in Canada and about how many awards she has/has won in order to convince me to reconsider. She even texted me after I signed a waiver, to feel free to bring drinks to her studio. When she finished my first tattoo at 10pm, she argued with me about changing my quote tattoo to include an ellipses or a line. She was adamant that she was the professional artist and knew what would look good. I put my foot down as this was a direct quote from a book. She never re-stenciled, and free handed a good portion of both tattoos which I didn't realize until my friend told me afterwards. She did not start tattooing until 8pm and I left at midnight. I should have listened to my gut and all of these red flags (ha pun), and the regret is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.

The first tattoo I got with Heather is 5 years old and looks brand new! Heather’s colors are super bright! And no one can touch her skills! I had an idea in my head, and Heather made it so much better than anything I could have thought of ! She’s sweet and kind and the best tattoo artist I’ve ever had! This past tattoo session , We had extra time left over from what I booked so Heather took to fixing up an old tattoo (done by an old artist of mine ), on the spot! Now it looks way better than it ever did originally ! Then she connected the new tattoo she did, and the old one (she originally didn’t do) and totally matched the two styles, so it blends perfectly! So awesome! She said she wanted me to get my moneys worth with the extra time left! Your the best girl! I can tell she cares the world about her clients and her tattoos! I started getting tattooed by Heather 5 years ago when Platinum Tattoo opened. She always amazes me with how great my ideas turn out on me. 2 sleeves and now a deadly backpiece and you know that girl never missed an appointment. I even told her to go home once because she just got released from surgery and didn't want to miss out appointment. I moved from Kelowna a few years ago and i still drive four hours to see Heather because her art is unmatched. She is a phenomenal artist . She really cares about her clients and always makes sure I'm onboard with what she is tattooing . I don't like surprised. When she starts a new tattoo she alwsys spends extra time drawing on me so my design is fitted to me. She's a real tattoo professional and u can tell because ive never ever needed a touch up. She's a real sweetheart and I know I can trust her to do me no wrong. Every friend I've ever sent to her has been blown away too. I came to Heather because ! I herd from other people how amazing Heather is as an artist. I had three tribal tattoos that didn't flow together. I didn't like the tribal tattoo on my chest. I wanted her to work my horoscope symbol , a lion for Leo, into my chest. And to blend it into the tattoo I didn't like . The lion tattoo that she created is awesome and takes away from the tribal that I didn't like. The lion wasn't easy to put on around my existing tattoo, but She did an amazing job and made it look perfect. I asked her to make the rest of my tribal look better and bigger. I liked the realistic shading in her arm and asked her to put it in mine. The realistic shading she added to my 3 tribal pieces made them look full and filled and more like a sleeve. And she did it really fast too. She added the shading to both of my upper arms in about an hour and a half. It went so quick that I just want to do the rest of my body. I'm addicted to getting tattoos by Heather.

I just had a tattoo done this past weekend.Best in town by far! her detail, shading, creativity and speed are awesome. Heather's vision to see the tattoo and create it from scratch is outstanding. Creating such intricate art takes time but Heather does it quick and painless. Her customer service was fantastic!! I've never had a business offer me pizza, snacks and drinks on the house, not to mention the fact she took time to drop me off at home after working 9 hours on my tattoo. I've never dealt with any company willing to offer me this, talk about going the extra mile for you customer that is it.

I wonder why?, maybe because she's one of the top tattoo artists in Canada!! And the girl doesnt have a secretary.. its clearly listed Everywhere!! That's why she offers online booking! Give it a try! Instead u give her a bad rating because u can't read or click a button!? Brutal. If u haven't been tattooed by her, save your rating, because your going to end up going to 10 or 20 different tattoo shops and you are going to end up with bad tattoos, because of their great customer service skills, and Heather's going to be the only one willing or even able to fix it for u! Heads up, the other artists have better customer service because theyre NOT tattooing!?!... because they are NOT as good as an artist!? I don't want some slow tattoo artist who answers the phone all day, working on me, over a wicked artist that takes a bit to get back to me. Terrible service, complaint filed with the BBB to help get a refund on my deposit! Had an appointment gifted to me a week before the appointment. I spent the entire week via text, phone and email trying to get in touch with her and didn't hear from her till the night before. Sent all my tattoo info and accepted her appointment time change (from 1pm to 11am). I asked her to contact me asap that night if she needed anything further for my appointment. Her studio is under construction so she doesn't give you her address till she has all the tattoo details, which was fine. But I never heard from her again until AFTER my original appointment time had started!! She said she couldn't actually fit me in at 11am (no attempt to contact me AT ALL). Also said I was missing some of the tattoo info she requested, which I sent in my email! By the time she emailed me I was already on my way home (40 min away) after being in Kelowna since 11am so I wouldn't make it back for any time for a tattoo. She did offer me to come back the next day but in my attempts to contact her all week, I explained I was flying home the day after appointment!! I sent 2 emails since requesting her suggestions on how to now proceed and I was willing to rebook when I am home next summer. But it's been a few weeks and just want my deposit back. Absolutely the worst service and communication...and I had Roger's as a phone company!

I have a 5 star tattoo from Heather! Her online booking is super convenient! It was great because it’s PayPal secured ! Other tattoo shops when u pay a cash deposit, you don’t even get a receipt. I booked online and filled out the booking form. Was easy. Her private studio address was sent the day before. Heather says she’s so swamped , that’s why she has a private studio address. I totally see why she’s so busy! My tattoo is amazing!! She freehanded a bunch of it , so the tattoo fits my body perfectly! I’m stunned how good the tattoo looks on me! Makes me look jacked for sure! Totally highlights my muscles! Best tattoo artist in Kelowna for sure!
