Received the laser hair treatment here at this Kelowna clinic last May with the hope of finding something that would last at least through the end of the summer. This definitely did the trick. There was still no hint of hair at the end of August, so I’m assured that this is going to be just as long-lasting as they promised. It was more than affordable enough to grab next year if I need it. Totally over priced for tattoo removal, they call it Extreme, 3 in one treatments, paid over $1300.00 for two treatments, hardly took out any ink, it was a very small tatoo black ink. They were very firm on no discount, and no offer to do an extra treatment. Very rude..... will not go back.

I would not recommend coming here for a tattoo removal. Or at least I'd advise you to see what else is out there first! I attended a consultation and found the price to be absurd so I decided to do my research and check out other Doctors. I went to 3 other consultations with different practicioners and found that my instincts were right, Dermmedica is severely overpriced. I was quoted literally half the price or less at my other consults all of whom had equally reputable technology. The Dr's assistants I met with were also very pushy and kept analyzing my skin and trying to sell me different treatments even though I was very clear as to my reason for being there, which was a tattoo removal.

I was referred to this dermatologist by my GP due to a mole on my face to be removed by specialist. He looked at it and said he will remove it by laser and it will only take 10 min but he can't guarantee it will not regrow again. Then he is saying it's going to be consider as a cosmetic procedure so he has to charge me. I was shocked to learn that he wants to charge me over $400 to remove my mole smaller then pin head.. I left the clinic with the thought in my head what a rip off and in disbelief how can a specialist charge an additional fee for a procedure which was referred by GP.

Never go here for a tattoo removal! they are scammers they will tell you what you need to know over the phone then charge you $80 to touch your tattoo then tell you it costs $300 for each session and needing 12. My tattoo is smaller then a business card! there is a place in Vernon that gives free consultation, GO THERE!! wish I didn't have to give a star they don't deserve one!

For the 3 minute the doctor talked to me, I was charged $100 for consultation fee that I was never told prior to the appointment. I wanted a refund for the treatment because I changed my mind about the $500 treatment. It has been over a week and they still haven’t got back to me. The receptionist keeps telling me that she is waiting for the administrator to get back to her. They were extremely quick to take my money but I don’t know how and when I would get my money back. UPDATE The clinic got back to me and apologized over the phone. She was very professional about it and the issue was resolved as I wished. How they handled the error was impressive and consequently I have changed the review to a 5 star. The treatment wasn't worth it for me but I would probably recommend my wife to go for her skin care.

Well I write this on behalf of my wife. We did review the online reviews before seeing Dr: Crippen and felt that his clinic would be a good choice. Now disappointed and reviewing the online reviews we see that the positive reviews are mostly hair removal and Botox. My wife had dermabrasion on her face last year and before she had it done I sat through the consultation with Dr. Crippen. He maintained that he could help remove the age wrinkles and lines through his process with excellent results. Based on that consultation my wife booked an appointment proceeded to spend $3500. At first I would have to say the results looked positive but within months all the wrinkles returned. My wife was disappointed especially since she followed up with hundreds of dollars in skin creams. I convinced her to book an appointment with Dr. Crippen to express her concerns. Well today she saw Dr. Crippen and now the story has changed and now is it can take several treatments and was quoted another $2750 for a second session. We both sat through the original consultation and there was never any mention of multiple treatments only a positive outcome after one treatment. In our opinion the treatment offered by Dr. Crippen has not met with the results as discussed before treatment and in fact has not improved or made a difference to my wife's complexion or wrinkles. In fact there are some laser scaring on my wife's which remain which Dr. Crippen comment was he must have worked on that area of her face too hard. Really Dr. Crippen, my wife trusted you would provide her with the results you discussed. You did not deliver and seem more interested in simply charging more for something you should have delivered in the first place. Obviously dermabrasion is not what you say it is. Disappointing to say the least!

This was more expensive than the laser hair removal procedure I tried about seven years back, but it was far more effective. My first treatment was scheduled in early May, and took three total sessions to complete. I have not seen any signs of regrowth in that time. My legs are as smooth as they were when I finished the last session.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to this company for my birthday & told them exactly what I wanted. I paid approx $2400 and was told there would be 1 vile in my lips & another vile around my smile & marionette lines. When I was there the injector told me he wouldn't do my tear troughs as they were flat & he doesn't do them. Interestingly I was there a few years prior and he did the fillers then! Also my tear trough lines are not flat, you can clearly see the lines. After the swelling went down I notice there was no difference in my lips so on top of no results on my lips & not getting my tear trough done I left a negative review. After I left a deserved review a lady from the office posted my personal information under the review. I asked her to remove it and it's my rights to post private information. She changed her review & re-posted my information but altering it slightly. I told her to remove it again and that I would contact BBB if it continued. She posted again with manipulating words & twisting the situation so I contacted BBB. The company must have been contacted from BBB because she finally removed my personal information and manipulating word play. Its been almost 2 weeks and there has been no response from BBB. During this time I had to block their number from my phone due to non stop calling me which was about 3-4 calls a day. I've also received emails. In stead of responding to BBB I received an email stating they would refund me for the vile...which they should since the lady on the phone told me I only got one vile, yet when I was getting my injections done I was told I was getting 2 viles. I agreed to the refund. After I agreed to the refund the lady contacted me and told me to call her but I said no. I clearly want everything down on digital paper. She responded with telling that they would refund me if I signed a legal paper to remove my negative feedback! IMO this comes off as bribery. I was going to remove my review but to be bribed only furthers my frustration and stress with this company. I took screen shots of my personal info this lady had replied with that she removed but the fact that she re-posted my personal info after I requested it be removed shows me what kind of person this lady is. I shouldn't have to ask twice to stop posting my info and I shouldn't have to contact BBB. This could have been a simple fix! Either refund me the vile you said you put in that you didn't or redo my lips...which would also take a plane ticket since I flew to come to this place. Is that how it works these days? Do an unsatisfactory service, get a negative review and bribe to get it removed? There are other negative reviews here, I'm not the only one. How are people supposed to know where to go and not go? If a place doesn't have negative reviews is it because they bribed the person to remove them? I told they lady to send over this paper so my lawyer could read it because how am I supposed to trust them after what happened. Now she has ignored my request and hasn't emailed this letter. At this point I'm on the fence whether I want the refund(don't need) or to leave my review.

Several home treatments had failed already, so I doubted the enthusiasm with which he took me through the treatment options when we first met. Before meeting with Dr. Crippen I had an initial consultation with Dana. She was able to provide me with comprehensive education on the treatments and gave me some excellent recommendations to fit my needs and budget. Dr. Crippen made me feel relaxed with his wonderful bedside manner. He took the time to really listen to what I was hoping to achieve and provided a realistic treatment plan. He had a very gentle approach and gave me a beautiful, natural look. Jessica assisted me with my questions on my melasma and helped me choose skincare that would benefit my conditions and kept the regime simple. Great experience, lovely staff, definitely be back!!!
